Taking advantage of Constantine's tendency to zone out during debriefings, Danny sneaks up on him from behind while invisible and goes eldritch abomination before becoming visible.
Danny: JOHN CONSTANTINE! I'VE COME FOR YOUR PITIFUL SOUL!
Constantine: BLOODY HELL!
*magic blasts Danny, knocking him to the floor and causing him to revert to his normal ghost form*
Constantine: You miserable little brat! I told you to cut that shite out!
*lying on the floor wheezing in both pain and laughter*
Danny: I regret nothing
The rest of the JL and JLD members either snicker in amusement or shake their head in disappointment.

I still maintain that people who only know Constantine through DPxDC tend to
a) overestimate how intimidating Danny is
and
b) under estimate how little of a shit John gives about supernatural entities that could potentially kill him
John is not a coward, he opts to not get involved if he doesn't have to, not because he's afraid, but because if he isn't needed why would he put in the extra work?
Him seeing Danny and walking immediately out would not be because he's afraid
it would be like strategically walking away from a conversation when someone starts talking about needing help moving. You're not afraid of helping someone move, you just don't want to carry a sofa up three flights of stairs while your buddy fails to understand what you mean when you tell him to fucking pivot the couch

Hans Memling (German-Flemish, 1430-1494) Triptych with Saint John of Patmos, 1479 Memlingmuseum, Museum St John’s Hospital, Bruges The Book of Revelation or Book of the Apocalypse is the final book of the New Testament. Written in Koine Greek, its title is derived from the first word of the text: apokalypsis, meaning 'unveiling' or 'revelation'. The Book of Revelation is the only apocalyptic book in the New Testament canon.

To the older tumbler users I want to ask if you know how bad war can be?
Do you remember November 11th at 11:11 when the guns fell silent?
Do you remember having actual hero's, men who survived world war 2, talk to you about war and how bad it was.
When we removed remembrance day from being a notable holiday, we removed part of our history.
The biggest memory I have is the ability to recite to this day the poem, In Flanders Fields.
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead.
Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie, In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.
-Poem by John mcCrae.
I said that poem every single year in elementary school, on November 11th. I still get a catch in my throat as I read it.

Borrowed a 1919 collection of John McCrae's works from my local library, and I've stumbled across some additions:

Remembering Canadian poet-physician John McCrae, born 150 years ago today (Nov. 30, 1872) in Guelph, Ontario. McCrae earned immortality with his 1915 poem In Flanders Fields, perhaps the best-known English-language poem to emerge from the First World War. He died of pneumonia on Jan. 28, 1918.
