Idk if anyone's said this before but I just think it would be a really funny scenario where Trucy goes up to Phoenix one day and says (referring to the De Famme sisters), "Hey Daddy I have this problem with twins." And he just probably spits out his coffee or whatever he's drinking and is like "Huh?" And she continues by saying "One of them likes me, I think, and the other hates me" meanwhile Phoenix is like. Having flashbacks.

It’s easy to distract him from the lesson by bringing you up. And he always had a dreamy look in his eyes when someone talks about you.

Every one of his students knows about his crush and think it’s one-sided until someone catches him making out with you in a random classroom :((

he’s absolutely smitten since day one when the principal gathers everyone in the teachers room to introduce you, the newest member of the school staff

he’s usually very bored during such meetings and often skips them after presenting a lame excuse (sometimes doesn’t even bother with that, and ppl don’t question it, just let it slide with a ‘that’s what you get from a crazy ass scatterbrained scientist’) but this once, call it fate or what not, he decided to grace with his presence

and, you see, after meeting you he starts regularly attending those gatherings just bc he gets to see you there. when he walks in the hallways, he always looks around in hopes to spot you someplace. does regular runs to the cafeteria or the teachers room after each class, again in hopes to meet you

after a while he’s got your class schedule memorized and just so happens to pass by the classrooms after the bell rings, striking a casual conversation with you as you walk down the hallways together

and sometimes he jokingly pulls some physics pickup lines on you, but you usually just laugh them off (why can’t you read the room, this nerd wants you so bad)

ofc, his students catch on to his not so little crush, and use you to distract him especially when he surprises them with a pop quiz. all they need to do is drop your name and the quiz is long forgotten bc he’s trying to dig in more information on you from them jjsksks

he’s like, lowkey a laughing stock in the eyes of the students and basically the talk of the entire school bc of how hopelessly and stupidly down bad he is for you. everyone seems to be aware except for you ofc

because one day, you each enter your classes with mixed name badges — you’re wearing his while he’s wearing yours….

and everyone is wondering how that happened ;)
