Robby Keene’s cursed blood
It’s only my personal opinion about a silly show and I might be wrong. If Cobra Kai ended with its second season I would probably regard it as some sort of modern day Greek tragedy. But it didn’t. And I believe that the very beginning of its downfall can be attributed to the reintroduction of Kreese back in season 1 finale. Since then the show has kept its downward trajectory, finally getting to all time low with season 6. But while almost every other plotline turns into cheap soap opera, Robby’s story for some inexplicable reason continues to be a great generational tragedy. Johnny’s absence and Shannon’s negligence lead him to the life of crime. Daniel turns on him the second it turns out he’s Johnny’s son. Kreese uses him only as a pawn to get Johnny back. Silver hates him because he is jealous of Johnny’s relationship with Kreese. His rivalry with Miguel was portrayed to be more about Sam but in my opinion it is mostly about Johnny. Even if they won’t ever address it properly in the show itself. Even Hawk’s animosity can be attributed back to when he thought Johnny only got angry with them over the first All Valley because Robby is his son.
Johnny is a product of Cobra Kai philosophy. And even though the show never in any definite terms explores what it actually means it does have both pros and cons beyond it being cool but evil. So Robby being Johnny’s biological son inherited all the bad consequences of such lifestyle. Johnny does something bad and Robby suffers the ramifications for the sole reason of having Johnny’s blood in his veins. Robby commits mistakes of his own obviously but almost all of them are connected to his father in some way or another. And even from the narrative perspective Robby’s whole existence is used in service to either advance or torture Johnny on his way. And in the part 2 of season 6 season Robby is even shaped up to play the same role in Tory’s plotline.
But Miguel on the other hand has inherited Johnny’s spirit and not his blood. And doesn't have to suffer for too long through any consequences of his own actions while succeeding in pretty much anything he puts his efforts to. I know it is done for plot advancing reasons but at this point it is just getting ridiculous. Johnny’s legacy is split between Robby and Miguel so unfairly. And by the end of the series that difference will be astronomical.
#cobra kai#robby keene#johnny lawrence#miguel diaz#i personally don't hate any of the characters but this mitsreatment makes me so sad#why are they doing it#it doesn't have to be this brutal

hi could u suggest any fanfics?? not from any specific media, im mostly just curious if there are any in particular that stuck with you (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
interesting question! Get ready for a bunch of random disconnected fics from my bookmarks i suppose! This is not like, an exhaustive list, and im gonna try not to link too much from one fandom lol. Anyway, have a look under the cut for my faves
All Souls Who Take Up The Sword
Dragon Age Inquisition Blackwall/Fem Lavellen Soooooo im not usually big into Blackwall, but this fic is an AU where he and Lavellen are both grey wardens forced to travel to the Orzammar deep roads to meet with the Hero of Ferelden, who is a changed person. Idk it was really interesting and an engaging character study. I loved it A Boon The Hobbit Thranduil/Reader
The reader and the Elvenking enter a wager, sex is on the table. Very hot, very sexy, i love elves. Gorgeous writing style, very evocative. By Blood BG3 Astarion/Tav I love this one. The author has such a good grasp of the characters and their voices, it honestly feels so much like a scene from the game. Thanks to a cursed treasure chest, Tav accidentally confesses her feelings to Astarion and he is a nuisance about it. Missives Dragon Age 2 Nathanial Howe/Hawke WOOF. Hawke and Nathanial meet in the deep road as in the game and then begin exchanging polite letters that slowly get less and less polite............Idk, nothing gets me like erotic mail lol. Incredible sexual tension. love it. Scheherazade Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (Part 4 in specific) Josuke Higshikata/Okuyasu Nijimaru Okay. Look. I know this one is kind of a hard sell. But it's probably the best fanfic i've ever read. Novel length, incredible combination prequel/sequel content that somehow feels like it slots perfectly into the original narrative. Josuke is struggling to recall memories from 10 years ago and when a serial killer seems to be in town, remembering them becomes essential, oh and also he might be in love with his best friend. Also one of the chapters is an RPG that you play????? its fucking insane. Please read it. In The Yellow Time of Pollen Mass Effect Andromeda Kallo Jath/Ryder Another niche one. A lot of my all time faves are niche ones. I really like Kallo and this fanfic is a really interesting exploration of like, alien sexuality and its also viscerally emotional and personal. And sexy. It does it all. I wish it was finished, but its still good as is.
And Wolves Beneath Their Seams Fallout 3 Lone Wanderer/Charon A really emotionally intense, teeth gnashing fanfic set during the main story of fallout 3. Has some really interesting perspectives on the lone wanderer's relationship with character in the game. This one makes me cry, its a lot. Do not separate them. Incredibly codependent relationship, so codependent it starts leaning toxic, but i love it.
Dirty Secret Final Fantasy 14 Emet-Selch/Warrior of Light
A really lovely exploration of the struggles there would be falling in love with the guy literally trying to end the world. Very achingly romantic and painful. Great sex stuff too. I really love this one. Fever Words Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Nagito Komaeda/Reader Usually komaeda is banished to my sideblog. But i am being transparent so here he is. Great fic this one. One of the first ones in this tag on ao3 and it still hits so good. Again its the combo of smut and character exploration that I find so compelling. I come back to this one all the time. Great writing too, super easy to visualize.
Quandary & Retribution in F# Arcane Viktor/Reader Okay, i decided i would only include one Viktor fanfic which was hard because i love so many, but the narration device in this one is so clever that it stands out. Reader is a musician and Viktor's neighbor. He comes by to tell her not to play her music so loudly. Anyway, the smut plays out interspersed with musical directions and I find it utterly fascinating and so so clever. A great read. So........that's a very big list. By no means exhaustive but I hope that someone will find a fandom they know and read some of these. I love all of them dearly.

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Spread the self-love ❤️
<3 Ooohhh ok hm... honestly i do not post much fic (checked AO3 and only 18), for the amount that i start writing and then leave in various stages of completion in drafts on my computer, oops. Unfortunately at least 1 favorite is in that category, but here we go!
Fallout from the Fade (Dragon Age: Inquisition): Hawke is left in the fade during the events of DAI's Here Lies The Abyss, but manages to fight her way back out. However she's left to recover from the severe side effects and trauma that come along. Ok my confession here is while i have not updated this fic since 2020, i have in fact written more of it. But since i kept going so long (months... and then years...) between chapters I decided it'd be better if i just finish writing the rest myself (at least roughly) so i know how much more there is to go and can update it on a more regular schedule in the future when i start posting again. Alas i am very slow at this bc of grad school and also bc i get distracted easily and... have less motivation to work on it when not actually getting feedback as i go. So i may change my mind about this approach eventually but it's where the fic stands now.
Like Teeth Against His Heart (Dragon Age: Inquisition): After Solas wakes up from uthenera, he has many conversations with a variety of spirits over the course of DAI. Sometimes they tell him what he wants to hear, and sometimes they don't. I typically like the recent things I've written the most and this is that. It's a prose-poem style that plays with formatting, aka its kind of Weird, and weird is my favorite. I wrote it for a charity zine which also meant i had to have a Final Version rather than endlessly tweak it forever which was irritating at the time but also good for me.
Unposted, No-Finalized-Title fic, with the file jokingly named 'Sam I Am' (Mass Effect: Andromeda): pre-Andromeda and game timeline but from the perspective of your ship's AI, who also lives inside your character's brain, and in the game admits to altering your brain/body, and hello??? the game did NOT let me respond to that to the degree I desired? One of my literary obsessions is the combination of AI (the sci fi kind not... generative art etc) plus human augmentation... what that does to both parties sense of self, their relationships, how they view and function in the world, etc. In the vein of Silently And Very Fast by Cat Valente, Imperial Radch by Ann Lecke, Murderbot by Martha Wells... and I spent soooo much time wishing Andromeda had gone deeper into that angle/thinking about it myself I wrote. Quite a long fic about it. But i only played the game once and there wasn't much fan love/fanworks for it so I never posted it or any other Andromeda stuff I wrote, it was more just for myself. I'd like to go back and finish this fic but I estimate it'd be in the 40-70k word range and i'd need to replay the game to refresh my memory so it's like, a project for when i have a bunch of free time at some point in the future, since it's mostly just for Me.
the people you love become ghosts inside of you, and like this, you keep them alive (Mass Effect trilogy): Snippets of a variety of Garrus' thoughts and memories of Shepard, and a growing realization about the nature of love like theirs. I don't expect anyone to love this one but me, because it's just a self-indulgent thing I wrote specifically to figure out the flavor of grief involved in the relationship between my personal Shepard and Garrus. It's not as poem-formatted as my Solavellan one but the prose leans hard in that direction, and they came from the same place for me. I wrote it after finishing the trilogy because I (unlike a lot of fans, i know) felt very adamant that the correct ending for my Shepard is that she is dead now, and not coming back, and needed to cry some more about that.
like the leaves after a long winter (Dragon Age II): It's the first Christmas/Satinalia since Leandra's death, and Hawke is not in the mood for festivities -- until she realizes that everyone else will be spending it alone and finds herself hosting a party without even meaning to. I'll be honest #5 spot was kind of a toss up between this one, Less A Man Than A Wild Cat, and Grief. But I've decided on this one because 1. it covers my favorite thing to write about aka grief, but is actually written as a story/proper narrative unlike others i've already put on this list. With fanfic the most important thing to me before anything else is self-indulgence. While I love writing for prompts (like this one was!), my specific joy in that is taking an idea from someone else and figuring out how to cram all the things I care about into someone else's plot summary. Fanfic for me is like... it feels weird to call it 'writing exercises' because that implies i don't care about the final project when i very much do. Writing challenges? Maybe? Idk i just really enjoy having limitations to work within. Having NO boundaries is where I do my original content writing, so writing within the bounds of an existing franchise already means there's some limits (like keeping to characterizations, plot, etc) and then adding more on top makes it a fun experience and keeps me engaged.
While these are my top 5, I definitely don't think most of them are what other people would pick as a favorite from my (admittedly very limited) amount of posted writing, Fallout from the Fade being the exception. I think my friends probably like the one where I turned Fenris into a cat best (and that was VERY fun it's just also more lighthearted which i struggle to write sooooo bad), and then every one else is in my inbox about the single Solas x F!Travelyan fic I wrote largely as an experiment in writing sex scenes. sorry to everyone who read that and then tried to read my other fics and discovered its mostly blood and loss and Yearning...
#ramblings#my stuff#my writing#my fic#dragon age#mass effect#thank you!!! :D#now that im again replaying DAI maybe i can write DA content again hmmm

do u have any thoughts about the kind of hypothetical relationships nagant could've had with other villains ( the league, shie hassaikai, mla, etc) if they had ever been explored in canon?
hey anon, thanks for the ask. the answer to your question is yes, kinda, and not yet. but by the time i am done writing out this post the answer will be yes, yes, and hell yeah.
i have definitely thought about lady nagant's interaction with the lov. mostly because (exposed) i'm a dabihawks shipper and i also subscribe to the fanon that lady nagant and hawks knew each other a little bit more than canon would imply. though i think with kaina's personality she was probably a little bit closed off, even with little keigo, but she was definitely big sister-ing, just from a comfortable emotional distance. anyway au kaina gives dabi the scariest shovel talk he'll ever receive, and all she did was point the barrel of her elbow at him and say "watch yourself".
the other league members think shes cool. mostly. i think there would be preliminary distrust due to her hero status but then they get to know her a bit and discover that she actually has good takes. i think shiggy could appreciate that shes critical of hero society without just regurgitating stain's beliefs. she has her own perspective and firsthand experience to back it up. he mentally adds her grievances to the compiled list of "reasons why the lov are committing unspeakable crimes against humanity, if anyone ever bothers to ask"
(cut for length)
i have kinda thought about kaina's interaction with the shie hassaikai, but mostly through the lens of her and chisaki. honestly the 8pods would be like. she's god. for real. or maybe she's actually the devil. chisaki already fills the god position for them and kaina clearly doesn't fear god (chisaki) so she's just a different beast entirely. basically they are all shocked by how casually and oftentimes brusquely she talks to chisaki. kaina herself is a bit weirded out by the 8pods insane worship of chiskai. "he's just a guy???? he's not even that cool cmon guys what am i missing…" chisaki grumbles "stop telling them that, it took a lot of effort to convince them im god" /j
okay jokes aside i think kaina would sympathize heavily with many of the 8pods downtrodden experiences. i mean she sympathized with chisaki, which not even the paragon of forgiveness and saving everyone (midoriya) was really willing to do. let's be real, for as much as kaina has a cold shell, she's very very gooey and warm on the inside and she sees this ragtag group of wet cats that chisaki scraped off the street, and she adopts them. with her unique brand of acting like she doesn't care when actually her heart aches whenever she thinks about what they went through.
i just want to preface this next part by saying that i'm a little bit biased against the mla. not to say that they're bad characters or that it's wrong to like or enjoy them, but from a personal standpoint i've never found them as compelling as other villains. i mean their motive is like. borrowed from another guy. and maybe if they had personal experiences with quirk discrimination, like toga or tabe, they might be more sympathetic. its not that they don't have a point, its just that its obvious that all of the members have a lot of privilege, and it makes me wonder how well they actually understand what destro wanted for society. also their motive is kinda funky because its a lot more relevant to the time literal decades ago that destro was actually living in. not saying that quirk discrimination isn't a thing in present day canon but like. we see it in the opposite direction that the mla sees it. we see people who are quirkless be treated like they're worthless. and the mla seems to want a society that only reinforces this issue, by assigning value to people based off of their quirks.
this is all to say that (i'm projecting) lady nagant would probably not like the mla that much. even putting aside whether their motives and beliefs are sympathetic or not, i think kaina would see the obvious privilege that they have, the pressed suits and influence and wealth, and be like. damn. did society really hurt you or did it actively benefit you? i also think on an individual level, members like curious and trumpet would irk her. like, btw, i love curious and i think that her being a media piranha makes her interesting, but also kaina would think she's incredibly annoying and invasive. kaina would also aliken trumpet to the hero commission, with his (what is essentially) brainwashing of his followers.
at the same time though, i think kaina has probably carried out hits on people like the mla. and although she may not agree with their ideology, she doesn't think that means they should be silenced. let the people speak, even if she thinks they're insane and wrong. because she believes that people deserve to have the whole, unfiltered truth, and then make their own judgements.
tl;dr on the mla thing. she wouldn't be besties with them, but she wouldn't necessarily hate them or anything. probably just scoff whenever they try to talk to her. like ok, re-destro, whatever you say (internally thinks he's stupid).
a more light hearted headcanon could be curious hounding kaina for the "untold story of the treacherous hero" etc etc. they develop an unfriendly rivalry in that kaina spends a lot of time trying to avoid curious and curious spends a lot of time hunting her down. maybe they have hate sex. this sounds like the plot for a crazy enemies to lovers slow burn rarepair nagacurious that i will not be writing. but yeah that could happen. maybe even throw curious character development in for flavor. i mean it starts out with curious relentlessly pursuing lady nagant, it evolves into "ok my interest in you has evolved from just pure journalism and now i'd like to kiss you and go on dates" and at some point lady nagant actually explains her tragic backstory, and the character growth moment is curious not betraying kaina's trust, and actually keeping the juicy details to herself. to reiterate delusional: i will not be writing this fic.
anyway thanks so much for the ask, anon. most of this was like. crack taken seriously and definitely in an au, but yeah. i love thinking about lady nagant, and i really enjoyed considering how she might mesh with the other villains in the series.

How would Endeavor react to All Might's sudden death?
ah im gonna need more context to answer this, are you talking about this au, or in canon or an au where Toshi actually dies, and if canon, then when, because his reaction would be hugely different if it happened, you know, a month before USJ vs if it happened a week after Jakku...
but if you do mean in this au, well. Not great, because he's furious by the sudden fact that he could never beat All Might, that he died undefeated, but also, there's a little bit of fear the fact that something that could have killed All Might certainly could have killed him too. The HPSC clues him into what they knew of AFO after he's made number one, though he's not in contact or in the trust of Gran or Sir, so he doesn't get a ton of info. It's enough to be unsettling, though, and he doesn't take feeling fear well. Of his family, he thinks it was all a waste- though he swings back and forth between thinking the attempt at a family in the first place was a waste, or the neglect and abuse was a waste. Either way, he doesn't spend time at home as much anymore and figures its for the best, there are more important things. He'll feel guilt about it too, when he isn't focusing on other things, which is why he'll let Fuyumi take the boys and some money without an argument. That said, as he settles into it over the years, he'll feel guilt more. He'll move from the "it was all a waste for nothing" stage to the "well, i cant take away what was wasted, but i can stop wasting it now" stage which will uh, not be taken as well by his sons as by his daughter. Shoto's aware of the fact that if Enji wanted to, he could order Shoto back home and Fuyumi, who's been alone in raising two brothers for the last couple of years, couldn't or wouldn't put up a fight, and he doesn't want to see which it is. Enji isn't thinking like that, but his inability to consider what this appears to be from his son's perspective is just one of his many issues between them. So, Enji clearly expects Shoto to still be a hero, though the 'surpass all might' expectation is gone, which means Shoto feels like he has to in order to keep his relative freedom. The "compromise" between Enji and Shoto is that as long as Shoto trains on his own and takes both the recommendation exam (Enji's pick) and the normal exam (Shoto's pick), Enji won't insist on him training at the Endeavor agency (not necessarily with his father, since, he's a very busy number one hero, but there are plenty of sidekicks). Shoto deliberately fails the recommendation one, just barely, but Enji knows he'll be good enough for the other exam so.
Outside of his family, Endeavor dislikes the manufactured attempt at recreating All Might that Hawks is, but can't exactly throw stones from the house he's realizing has more glass in it than he thought. They don't interact much. For the public side of things, he has about ten times the number of applicants for his agency sidekicks as before, and five times the interview requests. he finds a few of them to be rewarding but is mostly just even more tired.

are there any dabihawks fanfics that you especially love and could rec? you're kind of the dabihawks guy on my dash
oh absolutely!!! im honored to be the dabihawks guy.
i'll always recommend the bachelorette series. dabi and the league are civilians instead of villains, but they're still outcasts who live together. the rest of hero society is the same as canon. dabi gets invited to be on the bachelorette, and hawks happens to be another contestant. normally id never read anything that has this premise, it just isnt interesting to me usually, BUT this fic is so good. i read the first fic in the span of a couple days. i honestly shouldntve because i Needed to pack (we were moving) but i desperately needed to know what was going to happen and that desire to read outweighed my responsibilities. ive yet to read the second fic, but i want to. its just such a fun read. the development of dabihawks' friendship is really well-written and keeps you engaged. fic one is 258k words, 12/12 chapters. fic two is 134k words, 5/10 chapters. teen rating, no archive warnings apply. i really do recommend this one if you want a longer fic.
Sinew & Soft Tissue. 4k word oneshot, mature, creator chose not to use archive warnings. hawks' pov, about his obsession with dabi's scars, staples, and mouth. there's a lot of tension between them. its mostly about hawks messing with the scars on dabi's face and them both being into it.
the raptor specialist series!! this one i really enjoy because i fucking love raptors. dabi works at a bird rescue with the rest of the league. he gets called in to help hawks who'd been hit with a quirk enhancer. this one is heavy on the bird behavior from hawks, so if that ain't your thing this one probably isnt for you. teen, 75k words across 4 works. its cute, and mirko's pretty important! just a fun read overall.
god knows his crimes, but hey, at least you're headed to heaven has a fun style. 1k word oneshot, teen, major character death, villain hawks and pro hero touya. hawks kills touya 👍 the dabihawks is more implied than explicit
One more time (and maybe you'll get it right this time) is a real fun timeloop fic !! mature, 19k words across 3/3 chapters. hawks is stuck in a timeloop. the fic is written from dabi's perspective, who's witnessing hawks become more and more stressed and less believing in the hero commission. i love timeloops so i really enjoy this fic ^_^ . there's a brief hand job in chapter three, as well as references to sex, that you can skip over if it isnt your style.
and thats all ive got right now ! i dont read a lot of longfics (im a 1k-20k word fic warrior) but ive got a couple more shorter ones saved if you want more after these ^_^

So Off of what I have seen on this blog. Are the Mun's favorite My Hero characters Endeavor and Hawks? did you make your oc just so she can be close to them?
/NOPE and NOPE!~
My favorite characters in my hero are Nighteye, and Bakugo :) ( It's okay I know it doesn't seem that way with how this blog is)
Rima's design was entirely intended to be a civilian NPC Her employment at Endeavors happened because of conversations I had with my Friend Vic. And a lot of her development between when I put her on tumblr and Now have mostly been from experimenting and influenced by conversations I have had with my rp partners.
When I Make OCs for tumblr. I tend to make them be really simple at the beginning, and grow the back stories and information I obtain based on what has happened between me and others.
With rima it was Civilian living in My hero world, Not directly involved in main canon plot but WATCHING it unfold and reacting to it. (Kind of like telling the story for a civilians perspective)
.... and then she got her side quest. (because her story just kind of took on its own shape over time)
As for her hawks obsession. I thought it would be entertaining to have a Hawks fan hidden among Endeavors staff. Especially since Hawks is an Endeavor fan.
Rima is young dumb, in college and would 100% fall for the bird mans charm.
#LizzardSpeaks#/tbh all of my OCs normally get growth based on whats happening on the dash and ooc conversations that happen behind the scenes./#/RP is more fun for me if I create flexibility and just let things shape themselves as they go. /#OOC

Hey its been a while. Spektor-anon. Life got kinda crazy which is why i havent reached out to talk about how much i love mash (i love it very muchly) i watched thru the rest of it! Loved it!! Youre right tho, the show punishes hawkeye too much. Like i agree he was a self important self righteous dude who sometimes needed to be taken down a peg, but also hes self righteous and CORRECT. war bad. War bad!!! It rlly took me out when they had an episode where hawk has to like???? Apologize to a general or something for being too disrespectful like NO!!! Mash is supposed to be totally skeptical of the respect ppl thoughtlessly pay the military. Even when margaret started getting character development id always felt that while the show respected her careerism, for the most part the show took her military zeal to be sort of to her detriment. Like her competence and comittment to excellence in a male centered world is commendable but her jingoism and thoughtless obedience to order is a flaw- a flaw they personalize to her bad relationship with her dad. The show comes to the conclusion she needs to learn how to be less starry eyed and to get her self worth somewhere other than her father and i feel like it comes to that conclusion visavis her relationship to the military as well. Love that. So why punish hawkeye is my thing? Feels like a fumble in the antiwar show to shit on the antiwar guy for being too antiwar >:>[.
Also also gfa? Gfa! My beloved gfa!!! Hawkeye has a mental breakdown and no one is equipped to deal with it least of all bj? Exquisite. Ruining music for charles by indelibly associating it with war!! Amazing! (It really figures that he would only be capable of respecting an asian man if that asian man has command over western culture aka mozart, but i still think it deals a blow to his western elitism all the same which i count as a win) also amazing- margaret and charles's send off!!! Klinger and Soon Lee was heart healing. Finally in the very last episode mash gives us a little depth to korean characters. Thank god. I love klinger in love. I love their romance its so compelling. Also also also the mulcahy stuff was so so heart breaking and brilliant and i love it. I love that bj is the only one who knows! No one else knows!!! I love all these missed moments of connection. Mash rlly knows how to make the moments of connection (the mozart. The poetry book. The goodbye note) hit and it does it in part by also giving you moments of missed opportunity in spades (bj cant rlly support hawk the way he needs and he cant be honest. Mulcahy never heards hawks parting words and in turn hawkeye never knows that. And he never knows why. And everyone is parting ways mostly forever. And you as an audience get to know some of the side characters who never got any play before for a brief shining second and then theyre gone and you know they had a full life and perspective that you never got to see and never will aka that one nurse "i think ive had it" line)
Thank you for giving me my favorite show. And thank you for humoring me in your askbox as i talk about it. Very kind and silly and thoughtful of you. Very caring even to a stranger. Very mash xoxoxox
SPEKTOR ANON I MISSED YOU SO MUCH i hope you're doing alright rn
if i'm being fully honest i don't really remember the episode you're talking about - i recall a couple where hawkeye went head to head with a general and was forced to stand down or something like that but i don't think the show ever punished him for his antiwar position? the most its ever done was show him as someone who's swinging at windmills i think
margarets arc in that regard is so good though. far from perfect but still very very good
you're so right about the missed moments and i'm glad you liked gfa vvgfgfhfgh!! mash is so good at creating a sense of bittersweetness, its genuinely one of its best qualities. they're having fun watching a movie but the casualties are inevitably coming etc etc. and charles is just..... i know the music is the literal thing he loses in gfa but i like to interpret it as him losing his sense of self and his place in the world (charles class consciousness era)
also shoutout to bigelow (the "i've had it" nurse) woman of all time
thank you for coming to my askbox for all these months anon! i'm like..... actually emotional, it means so much to me that something i made out of love for mash helped you find it and love it too. i'm so happy it touched you as well.
i hope you come around again! i'm always here to talk about mash and im always happy to see you in my askbox
#long post#mash#i love you regina spektor anon and i'll miss you#also i made an hd version of the amv if you ever want to watch it

Thanks, much appreciated and solid insights here to be sure!
Musings of the Infestigator
I really liked the little dip into his perspective and very fair on his motives. I mostly just like emphasizing the "He's funny, he's chill, he's also still technically an inhumane monster whose goals and interests don't align with the heroes" angle XD Which yours does very well!
Event Number Zero
Mhm true facts, lots of ways to execute that.
Alisa Maurelle - The Magician
Mhm, it all works well and yeah she'd be very much more herself than most Akuma or Imago. Also true facts on the accident there, still it doesn't seem to have gone too badly for her XD
I get the sense she is a loner over a grouper given she maybe only made a small number of drones and isn't make a big splash the way Darkblade is. But that may also just be preference and self control.
Tonal Whip-Lash
True, true, also funny scene idea XD
Horrificator Instigator
Thanks, this would also let her peers be on hand, and for Marinette & Adrien to miss it. Like students are watching the hostage situation on their phone, Mylene panics and transforms, then runs off, Marinette & Adrien return and boom, find out Infestigator was right.
When He Gives the Order to Invade
Oooh fun and nice music!
Mhm, glad you think so and yeah there'd be drones coming out of more than one locale so this would be impossible to cover up or totally contain even if the heroes brought in everyone they could.
(Quick aside, suddenly thinking Alya also brings Nino with her to tell Ladybug about the Catacombs situation for "Moral support" but its actually hoping they'll both get their Miraculous.)
Glad it fits with Darkblade and yeah, invading from the Catacombs is do-able, but you really need the element of surprise and to move fast before you are left getting smothered in choke points.
Course, I am also imagining maybe some of his minions escaping and going on to make their own fiefdom.
Patient Out of Paris
Mhm, like damage from the battle got fixed but a lot of the missing people are now permanently Imago, drones, ETC, or need much more extended treatment. This whole thing came out of nowhere, and only seems to be growing.
It was easy to be chill about Hawk Mot and Imago and Akuma when it all got fixed at the end of the day, but now things are being changed permanently and we all saw how people handled simple shit like masking poorly.
Did not know the term Schengen Area, so one learns something new everyday, and yeah those are all options, as is the British Isles, especially as I could see Gabriel being petty enough to intentionally infest Amelia or Felix.
New York is also an option, or Shanghai given the Specials.
Oooh that'd be fun, give new meaning to the name Paris Syndrome.
Chloe in the Catacombs
Hahaha, probably not no XD Though it all depends on execution.
Thanks, though part of me thinks all the heroes forced into retreat also works well. As an aside, kind of wondering if they have some heroes on back up call, like they only take some in with them but juuuuuust in case, Ryuuko, Pegasus and Vispera are also on lock.
Rest well!
Very rambly half formed thoughts regarding Imago order and public perception but like:
Patient Zero & Infestagator happening first/second, within a short period.
Public: This is bad, but also manageable, they were criminals/'crazy', we're fine.
Darkblade (Unknown) and Mylene (Info contained to avoid panic)
Public (Unaware anything's changed) Heroes' & Mylene's peers (VERY AWARE)
Probably some minor Imago & regular Akuma, things seem stable but growing 'worse' but not yet out in public.
Then the Dungeons of Daarkblade happen & while he' stopped, tons of people have been made into Drones and other ranks and need to be quarantined and Mylene escaped into the catacombs and this cannot be covered up at all.
Now people can start panicking & oops, Imago have started to show up elsewhere in the world, so sealing off Paris won't stop them.
Sorry for the response delay.
Anyway, that does seem like a pretty good order of initial Imago.
Infestigator is probably going to be pretty upset that his warnings were ignored.
He is then going to be smug once people actually realize it's a problem.
So the events would go as such:
Initial wave of Infestation
After several weeks, Alisa Maurelle (a name I came up with for the Magician's civilian identity) is checked into a hospital due to worsening symptoms from Infestation.
A bit into her stay, a Doctor in possession of a magic seeing glasses notices the strange energies surrounding her. However, he does not recognize it as being akuma energies due to being new to Paris. As such he attempts to confiscate the akumatized item, but Maurelle resists, eventually resulting in the Akuma in her forcing large amounts of Akuma energy into the doctor, infesting him.
Maurelle, now having a greater understanding of what's going on, imposes her will upon the Akuma, triggering her emergence as The Magician whilst leaving her in control.
The Infested Doctor notices these events and begins to put the pieces together. He is later attacked by a underling of the Magician and flees to an abandoned warehouse. He attempts to warn the Ladyblog about the infestations but fails to properly communicate.
The Infested Doctor, increasingly influenced by the Akuma, decides to resort to drastic measures. He lures and kills a member of the Magician's gang before taking their gun.
Afterwards, he makes his way to the TV station and rushes a live broadcast, taking multiple hostages. Following this, the Infested Doctor attempts to give his warnings about the threat of the Imago. This warning is mostly ignored and perceived as the ramblings of a mad man.
Shortly after Ladybug and Chat Noir arrive on scene, the Infested Doctor gives in to his infestation and emerges as the Infestigator. Realizing that he is unlikely to win this fight, the Infestigator attempts to flee, resulting in a comical chase sequence.
Shortly after the situation resolves itself, D'Argencourt becomes Darkblade and heads underground, using his abilities to slowly gather an army.
While all this was happening, Mylene has been suffering from severe nightmares and night terrors caused by infestation. She succumbs to the mental assault and becomes Horrificator, an event that her classmates discover. However, Mayor Bourgeois suppresses information about this in an attempt to prevent panic, believing that the situation can be brought under control.
Meanwhile, Horrificator ends up encountering Darkblade, who decides to bring her under his control for use as a 'guard dog'.
Infestigator has, by this point, noticed the situation regarding Darkblade and decides to pass a warning onto the heroes via Rose, who passes it on to Alya, Lila & Chloe, who pass it on to Ladybug and Chat Noir (who also overheard the information earlier in class). This warning is taken seriously due to correlating with various disappearances in the catacombs.
Shortly afterwards, the heroes gather a team together to investigate, finding the Dungeons of Darkblade. This, however, results in Darkblade attempting an invasion of Paris, causing mass panic.
Eventually, Darkblade is defeated, with Horrificator being freed from his control and fleeing back underground. However, a large number of Drones still remain, some being captured and put in quarantine, others going to ground and escaping.
There is some debate on sealing off Paris to prevent further spread, but then a report comes in from elsewhere in France. Another Imago has emerged. The situation has changed drastically.
Yeah that's a good way to set things up.

for the 5+ headcanons game can i get uhhhh dptam (immediately runs for cover)
After the 8 precepts raid, Izuku no longer has to worry about All Might, and the League of Villains is on his side, so the Meta Liberation Army can't just launch a massive attack like they do in the manga, so instead we get a quiet break for class 1A. Then Endeavor (who got his character development early) takes his interns to Otheon and Izuku is now on the run for mass murder he very much didn't commit
Rody is like "ugh, privileged hero kid bleh" and then Izuku is as sweet as a button, 90% trauma by weight and has the most heartbreaking nightmares and hes like "oh ill die for him now."
Izuku is like "you know, this isn't actually pretty nice." and then doesn't elaborate on that. He's kinda enjoying not being in Japan with all the All Might memorial stuff. Yes, he's still enjoying his holiday while being chased by the police and a terrorist organisation, mostly because he's the only one they want to kill. Afterwards he and Rody keep in contact, they send each other dumb memes. Its good for Izuku to have a non-hero friend, it puts stuff into perspective.
Tragically, the Meta Liberation Army hears about the whole 'bombs full of trigger' thing and, rather than using them as a way to kill the quirked, instead uses a slightly weaker version to trigger to spark violent outbreaks, where only the strongest survive. They even manage to get a 'quirk use in self defense is legal' law passed, which most of UA kinda agree with on principal but the people that know its from the MLA are scared ab what else they'll use this new found momentum to pass.
Hawks is now just trying to infiltrate the MLA as the League seems to be focusing their villainy on other villains and just general crime. This, ironically, endears him to the League who now actually start telling him stuff. He's kinda mad about it.
#thinking about writing more of blind spot actually#asks#bnha au#would anyone be interested in that story continuing?#5 headcanons#dont praise the all mighty#ask same

Could you perhaps do Rung's Cyclonus', Tailgate's and First Aid's reaction to their human S/O being trapped in the same room as Rung and Whirl while Fort Max he has his psychotic episode? And Fort Max isn't exactly gentle with them either so
Couple of broken ribs there at least
I love how you guys are so invested in this situation and all the potential prompts because it miiiiight just be from one of my favorite issues of MTMTE... Changing canon for all of these in that Rung emerges from this whole situation with his head intact.
Rung
·He's accustomed to the risks inherent to his profession, and despite his tiny size compared to his larger patients he's more than capable of handling himself in most crisis situations, you knew that the moment you heard that one of his more recent positions involved treating the Wreckers. But when Fortress Maximus burst in to his office, clearly in the fog of an agonizing psychotic episode, he felt fear like he hadn't in ages. His terror isn't for him however. You were preparing to head out so Whirl could have his appointment, your smile as casual as could be as you bid him goodbye from the doorway, when you were snatched up by the colossal Autobot forcing his way inside. Just seeing your fragile organic body in that gigantic fist... Whirl had been unable to stop him before being stabbed to the floor, and he'd been equally incapable of doing anything to save you as he was pinned to a chair with a few errant pieces of warped metal.
·With what Max endured, he knows the hulking mech is suffering from pain he hasn't even begun to acknowledge, but that doesn't make it any easier for him to stay calm and proffesional as you're held firmly in his grasp. Words can't begin to describe how badly he wants to ask for you to be released, even if only to be set down on an available surface so you can breathe, as his sharp audials can pick up every tiny gasp from your struggling body. Yet he doesn't dare to risk upsetting the mech and potentially spurring him to squeeze. His always in control temper is almost able to break loose as Whirl antagonizes Max with you in such a vulnerable position, but he settles for broadcasting audio from his thumb's recorder to the camera he spots on the ceiling. All he can do is hope the bots watching are planning a rescue in short order...
·Things go south quickly when Maximus realizes his demands aren't being heeded, and of all those in the room it's you that pays the highest price. His thumb being torn off hardly compares to his agony watching you be held aloft as a warning and squeezed, your hoarse cry of agony wheezing out into a whisper as your bones audibly crack. Max actually seems horrified for a moment, particularly as you cough up crimson, but he doesn't end the ordeal. Clearly guilty but not deterred, he only lays your tiny body on a nearby surface as he returns to his demands. Nothing had ever hurt more than the agonized little coughs you emitted as you lay so perilously still... It had been enough to compel him to try the worst thing one can do in a hostage situation, ask something of the captor, even if it's little more than weak pleading for only your release.
·He has no way to describe how badly he wishes he could tear himself from his bonds, but when the footage of Overlord is projected on the wall and Maximus collapses under the weight of his trauma, he still finds the softness in his spark to lean forth and comfort the weeping giant with an embrace. While he'd hear later there were plans for taking a shot through one of the many windows, the presence of your tiny body had made it impossible, and thus he had the freedom to end the situation on peaceful terms. Fort Max had been gently led to a guarded room for solitary confinement, Whirl had been proffesionally extracted from his impalement, and you had been rushed to the medical bay while he was still being unstuck from the chair... He hadn't even cared about his missing digit when he'd been told you were being taken to a private room for emergency treatment, from which the medics had refused him entry due to the intensity of your injuries.
·When he'd finally seen you afterwards it had almost broken his spark. You had looked so unlike yourself; frail, lifeless, and connected to a number of life saving machines that beeped and hummed to keep you stable. It didn't matter that you'd be fine, the suffering you had endured already and would face while recovering was enough to overwhelm him with guilt, as he blames himself for the whole ordeal. He hadn't seen the potential for Maximus to suffer a break, and hadn't even been able to talk him down, resulting in suffering for you and so many others. Though he's encouraged and comforted by his friends, he keeps a tireless vigil at your bedside until you wake, occasionally brushing a digit against your tiny hand to provide some reassurance that he's here and watching over you.
·When you do wake up, he's the first thing you see, his gentle smile looking down at you while he welcomes you back to the waking world. The guilt behind his lenses is even more apparent than the pain in every part of your body. Initially he's steadfast in denying he has any such inclinations. All he wants to focus on is your recovery, and making certain you're not traumatized by what you've experienced, he says and insists in a way you know is merely half true. Only when you've recovered enough strength to pressure him does he break, expressing his boundless guilt at having failed you in such a high stakes situation, which he shouldn't even have allowed to happen in the first place. Your reassurance that the only one to blame for the ordeal is the mech who tortured Fort Max brings a measure of perspective, but it's the feeling of your hand in his that solidifies the sense of comfort, your total lack of blame allowing him to turn some of his boundless forgiveness inward. You made it, everyone had made it, and the two of you could bask in the wonder of that simple victory together. That was enough for now.
Cyclonus
·It takes a full legion of bots to hold him back when news of the situation reaches him. You'd been near Rung's office when Fortress Maximus had apparently grabbed you in his rush, and he cares little for calm or strategy when the full weight of the situation is explained to him. The only two other bots in there with you are Rung and Whirl, meaning that you're not only without protection, you're in the middle of a powder keg. He's only prevented from overpowering the barricade when a firm reminder gets him to see the need for caution; all Max need do is bat you aside with his hand and you'll die, which makes your survival unlikely in the event of any altercation. Such painful logic reigns him in to a simmering silence. Joining the main team on the bridge, mostly so he won't try another break in, he's left to watch everything play out on the security feed.
·He only has optics for you as he stands silently by. Though his motionless self could be mistaken for a glowering statue, any bot who looked closer would see the rage boiling in his glare, and how his claws twitched every time there was sudden movement on the screen, which was often due to Whirl gesticulating and Maximus pacing with his weapon ready to fire. Like a hawk ready to dive, he keeps track of it all. You're the center of his focus of course, but he needs to be ready the nanosecond you need him, and that means knowing the terrain to plot out potential rescue missions. Ten minutes into the ordeal he already has fifty or so plans to remove you from just as many scenarios that might play out. While he's initially fine letting the commanding officers take control for the sake of a unified front, that quickly ends when he sees that no effort is being made to storm the room in order to ensure there are no casualties, a goal he hardly agrees with.
·For all of his efforts he fails to hide how incredibly worried he is for you in this situation. Though he snaps the instant someone tries to reassure him, declaring that he has no undue concern but merely wants them to consider the delicate nature of organics, he convinces no one. As he watches Rung lose his thumb, his claws dig so deeply into his crossed arms that they bleed. The lack of audio which follows only makes his worrying turn to nauseous panic. Watching your impossibly tiny form sit tensely on a table brings up a deep buried bit of self loathing, an internal voice taunting him for putting his spark on the line for something so weak, but he crushes its efforts by thinking back to the happiness you've given him. You aren't weak, he's seen the strength of your spirit time and again, your body is simply fragile... As if to cruelly make his point, Fort Max picks you up in a sudden rage, holding you aloft as he roars threats none of them can hear before he squeezes.
·The sight simultaneously breaks his spark and flips a switch inside of him. Ultra Magnus himself is an insignificant obstacle as he does what he should have when this whole thing began; run to your rescue. Cries for him to stop go unheeded, and thankfully for the sake of saving time most are smart enough to get out of his way. As fast as he is, the room you're held in is a fair distance from where he was, and thus there's an agonizing amount of limbo he has to endure on the way there. Even through the dull camera feed he could see how you'd spasmed in Maximus's grasp, and the way your face had contorted in absolute agony... It hurt in a way he wasn't ready to comprehend. There's no way for him to know if you're even still alive, but as unthinkable as losing you may be, he's well aware of what will happen if he arrives to find you lifeless behind the blockaded doors. Hopefully for Fort Max it won't come to that.
·There's a sobering dose of bewilderment when he arrives to see the doors opening of their own accord, but that hardly delays him for long, and he barrels forward to discover a hostage situation that's been settled for precious few moments. Ignoring anything and everyone else, he grabs your tiny self and runs, silent as he's informed through comm that Maximus has surrendered and the medics are ready in the medbay. Unable to be grateful at the sight of you so damaged, he holds you closely but gingerly as if he might break you further, willing your ragged breaths to keep coming unaided for just a little longer. One of his last thoughts as he arrives at the medical bay and the medics take you away is how small your body is in his claws, which somehow makes what's been done all the more agonizing. What reason would any member of his species have to hurt something so incapable of fighting back? As he waits in the common area for news of your condition the question almost mocks him with his own history of misdeeds...
·Seeing you after the surgery does nothing to quell his conscience. Though he's told you'll live, it's difficult to restrain the urge to execute violent revenge on your attacker, and only his greater need to ensure your safety prevents him from doing so. The vigil he keeps over you is tireless and appears stoic to others, but when he's certain you're alone his demeanor is soft and caring, his digits gently adjusting your blankets or brushing errant strands of hair from your face as he waits for you to regain your strength. You awaken slowly and peacefully to the sound of a regal baritone singing a soft song in a language you don't recognize. A familiar thumb brushes your face as you open your eyes, the gigantic claw that greets you not intimidating in the slightest as you behold the faintest hint of a smile on a face otherwise wrought with pain. He's barely able to contain his guilt as he relays his ineffectiveness during your capture, but his gratitude to see you alive is equally obvious in the way he relaxes as you lay your hand in his palm. Weak as you may be, you reveal that you were still conscious when he took you to the medical bay, and how his protective grasp around you had allowed you to believe everything would be okay. The news has a profound effect on him. To hear that he brought peace to you even once, in a manner similiar to what you do each and every day, is beyond anything he could ever imagine. It's enough to make him content just to enjoy the simple gratitude of having you back.
Tailgate
·When he's informed that you're being held hostage he nearly has a panic attack, and when the details of who you're with are relayed only his drive to protect you prevents full on fainting. Through his panicking he's able to convince the commanding bots to let him in the crisis room, if only because not knowing what's going on behind the heavy doors simply tears him apart in a way he can't endure. Knowing what you mean to each other, he's allowed in, and his little visor locks onto your image on the screen without hesitation. Nothing beyond your somewhat blurry face exists in his mind. Small hands clasp as they usually would to hold yours, but the emptiness due to your absence makes him feel pain instead of any kind of comfort, something he doesn't know how to process as he watches you with sad intensity.
·From the moment Maximus makes his first demand he's pushing for your rescue and advocating giving whatever Max wants to facilitate your release. Though he knows that isn't possible, the helplessness of being stuck on the sidelines makes him desperate enough to want Rodimus to give it a try. That sense of powerlessness is exacerbated by the sight of you being held up in the giant's fist. He's woken up after six million years to find someone he adores, and he's going to lose them like this, after so little time together? It's not fair to anyone, but especially you! Rage boils over in his spark as the injustice of it all tempts him to consider charging in himself. All you ever did to Fort Max was be nice, and this is what he does in return? Knowing the bot is suffering a psychotic episode does nothing to quell his anger.
·With nothing good happening on the screen, he tries to recall all the happy moments you've enjoyed together to keep himself calm, replaying the fun movie nights and dates at Swerve's that showed him how wonderful life could be... But the strategy does little to help with his traitorous optics constantly flipping back to the video feed. Nothing has changed each time, but he still can't help looking in some desperate hope that Fort Max will realize you are innocent and either let you go or end this entire ordeal. In his frustration he snaps at the commanding bots for not doing something, and their continued lack of action angers him almost as much as their reassurances. Don't they know how important you are to him?! How you made everything better and that losing you might destroy him?! He's on the verge of a kind of furious panic attack when the situation on the screen goes south dramatically fast.
·Being a small bot means he knows how terrifying it is to be grabbed and pinned by larger Cybertronians, but he can't even begin to imagine how afraid you must be when Fort Max swipes you up far more aggressively than before after an argument none of them can hear breaks out. You're endlessly brave as always, resisting the urge to scream despite the fear and pain visible on your expression, but his worrying turns to a near breakdown when you're held up high and squeezed. The spasm that passes through you is so great he can practically hear the crack of your little bones despite the lack of sound coming through. Resisting the urge to be sick, he grabs onto Rodimus and demands that action be taken before he's forced to do something himself, and despite his tiny size his tone is determined enough to give every present bot pause. By convenient timing that moment is concurrent with Rewind finally getting into position and projecting horrifying images of Overlord into the room, debilitating the hulking Autobot and leaving him helpless whilst Rung talks him down. With you lying motionless in the line of fire Rodimus makes the call to quickly but peacefully have security forces take the room.
·Tailgate is tearing down the hallways before anyone can say another word, desperate to see you as soon as he can if there's still time. The distance between the command center and Rung's office means that he takes some time to arrive, and while he's a quivering mess of panic by then it's only made worse when he hears you're already in the medical bay and receiving emergency care, as your injuries are potentially fatal. Between exhaustion and grief he briefly loses consciousness, but when he awakens in the medical bay he has to be kept from leaping off the berth to aid you. Hearing that you've been stabilized gives him some level of peace, but he still pushes to see you as soon as he can, and no number of visitors can distract him from the agony of waiting, leading to him absolutely jumping when he's told he can see you... Though he finds no comfort in finally beholding your broken body on the medical slab. Still, he takes a dutiful place by your side and whispers idle conversation in a tireless watch that breaks only when he's forced into brief naps by sheer exhaustion.
·Your slow return to consciousness is greatly sped up when, in a rather natural gesture, you squeeze the familiar presence in your hand and get a loud squeak of surprise as a result. A blue visor brimming with tears welcomes you back to wakefulness, but the babbling that pours from the minibot is so emotional you hardly catch even a word at first, and your aching ribs make it almost impossible to speak loudly enough to get his attention. Once he finally gathers himself enough to speak clearly and relay the situation, he's despondent about his nonexistent role in your rescue, something you have to reassure him isn't his fault in the slightest. Weakly but with a smile, you reassure him that thinking about him was the only thing that kept you calm. He tears up again, but this time in a kind of relieved happiness, his helm gently leaning forward to nuzzle you with soft buzzes of affection. Knowing he was able to help in some small way... there's still a lot of healing to be done, but he's determined to stand tall by your side through it all, because you've reminded him that he's strong enough to hold others up.
First Aid
·As a medic, he's usually one of the first bots informed when something goes wrong, to get him ready for a potential influx of patients if nothing else. But this time he's contacted because he's an affected party, and his ever present ability to stay calm is put to a whole new kind of test. Though he manages to keep the panic on the inside, it's raging like an inferno in his spark as he's escorted to the crisis room, his imagination keeping him fully stocked on all the potential ways you could be hurt. Considering Maximus grabbed you in a rush to drag you into the situation, it's not at all unlikely you're already injured. Watching the grainy footage of you in the company of your less than ideal fellow hostages has his processor simmering with terrible possibilities. The reports from the medical bay regarding the rampage victims leave little doubt; Maximus is as powerful as he is unhinged.
·His optics are locked on the screen the instant he manages to gather himself. Every movement, every action and once the audio starts coming through every word is analyzed. Between searching for a solution and ensuring you're okay his thoughts are absolutely racing. There has to be a way to get you out safely, and the moment you're freed as you will be he'll need to be ready for any potential injuries. Losing you isn't an option. In the short few months since meeting you he's become so very close to you, closer than he's ever been to anyone, and in that brief amount of time he's already realized he wants to be with you always. You make him feel worthy, which is perhaps why this helplessness is so incredibly agonizing. For the first time since your relationship began he's feeling that certainty of his incompetence once more.
·The pain of his own self depreciation is offset by simmering anger at his commander's inability to resolve the situation. Deep down he's experienced enough to know they can hardly be expected to control a situation so volatile, but that logic hardly has an impact on his passionate need for action. It only gets worse as things in the room deteriorate. Whirl is hardly staying still to prevent further injury from his impalement, and while Rung covers his bleeding hand to prevent further energon loss, the casual way Max ripped off his thumb makes it clear he has no qualms about violence. An unyielding imagination fills his processor with terrible thoughts about what that same strength could do to your tiny body. Grisly images flash before his optics and drive him to try begging for action once more, though it appears too late as you're suddenly snatched up in a gigantic hand.
·The universe stops moving as you're squeezed with what he knows is too much force for your body to safely handle. The lack of sound doesn't stop him from identifying that you've undoubtedly broken bones, and in fact his hyperactive processor is already trying to work out what damage has been done. Crushed ribs, snapped clavicles, perhaps a fractured humerus, and then there were your softer organs and tissues... The blood on your lips as Maximus lays you down on the table makes it clear something important has been injured that needs immediate medical care. Demanding that a rescue be launched for your sake, he's given a rare bit of luck in the form of two minibots on rivet duty. The specifics of the operation are a blur he can't bring himself to care about, even as the gory footage of Overlord covers the wall, as your limp form is all that exists in his perception. Attempts to count your very breaths only end when the situation is reclassified as under control and he's moving before anyone can say another word.
·Immediate communication with the other medics keeps him in the loop, so he knows you've been extracted the moment it happens, and he plots his course to intercept the team that recovered you even before they reach the medical bay. A random bot on the security detail has you cradled in careful but uncertain hands when he arrives, and is more than willing to hand over the tiny body to someone who actually knows what they're doing. First Aid feels his processor split between his medical training and his personal feelings for you, with the former a calculated source of experienced reason and the latter a maelstrom of agonized panic. Though he's more than able to keep the proper half in charge, he's unable to prevent his emotions from tearing into him as he gets you to the medical bay, where Ratchet and Ambulon have already prepared for emergency procedures. His CMO is adamant on his involvement being voluntary, emphasizing that he knows all too well how hard it is to operate on those you care about, and that he can focus on their other patients if this will be too difficult. First Aid replies that he's grateful for the offer but unwilling to choose anything that doesn't mean giving his all to save you.
·Stabilizing you is a team effort only made possible by the research each medic did in advance on your species, and while he's grateful he took the time to prepare for something such as this, he'll never regret anything more than having to use that knowledge. Waiting for you to wake is harder than it's ever been for any of his past patients. As a medic he has work to keep him busy, but he constantly finds excuses to check in on you, and every spare moment is spent by your side. He checks reports, takes his meals, and even rests all at your bedside. By great fortune he's present when you finally wake up, and you've barely opened your eyes by the time he's checking you over. A worried expression is the first thing you comprehend as a gentle voice asks if you have any sedentary pain. Somehow it's a relief to have your worried medbot be the first thing you see, but you quickly put together this isn't just his usual level of concern, and that there's active remorse in his features. Firm insistence is required to get him to confess; for all of his analytical skills, he couldn't think of a way to resolve the situation to save you. It seems to surprise him when you bring up that he's literally one of the bots that saved your life. An attempt to deflect on the grounds that being a medic is just his job is stopped by himself at your look of silent pleading, and he remembers in an instant how much faith you have in him. Even if he doesn't always feel worthy of that admiration, he knows there must be something to it if it's coming from one such as yourself. That simple reaffirming of his abilities lets him focus on the miracle of having you here with him, and he begins gently and lovingly fussing over you as he always does, bringing the smile back to your face that he so adores.

This ask is referring to this.
(This mini fic feels like it’s all over the place. Just me enjoying some half-assed worldbuilding, I guess. I had to stop it before things got too heated because I promised myself to keep this one sfw and it’s already longer than intended. Like anon suggested, this is a fantasy AU with some Spartan inspiration. I thought it would be amusing if Hawks was the only 300-style warrior, while the rest wore more accurate and convenient armor.)
----------x----------
The avian people.
A winged race known for their impish behavior and irritating ability to swoop in on unfortunate groups and settlements, spreading mischief and fleeing before they can face any consequences. The many troubles they bring has given them a sour reputation among humankind, but the sudden appearance of a lone avian on the outskirts of the country might be enough to change our perspective. Perhaps they are more than devious opportunists…
The feather moved.
You nearly tripped over your own feet when you noticed the slightest twitch of the red plume attached to the golden chain around your neck, placing a hand on the round curve of your stomach as you tried to balance yourself. Three long months—you prayed to the gods every day for both the life growing in your womb and the safety of its father.
You last saw your husband marching into battle with his head held high along with the rest of his comrades, men that scoffed at his very presence just three years ago, and probably still do, if you were to be honest. But he has earned the entire kingdom’s respect through his recent training, training that you all quickly learned wasn’t necessary.
The soldiers of this country were strong and experienced, there was no doubt about that, but they were also vastly outnumbered by the enemy forces. No matter what the proudest warrior tells you with complete confidence in their skill, numbers do matter in a battle.
The greedy kingdom that sought to rule the strong yet peaceful country you resided in was ruthless—they have taken the heads of several kingdoms’ finest warriors, and the less honorable ones surrendered and now fight under their command. Despite your spouse’s promises and reassurance, despite witnessing his amazing skills in combat firsthand, you still feared that victory was too far out of reach. It shames you to admit that you were already prepared to raise your child by your lonesome.
But then the feather moved again, this time briefly lifting off your chest before falling back down. So you weren’t seeing things.
“Miss! Please be careful!” Your maid rushed into the room when she saw you stumbling, gently holding you up. You were eternally grateful for the work she has put in caring for you and taking up some of your husband’s work. As your child grew and drained more of your energy, an extra pair of hands to take care of the house and errands was greatly appreciated.
You held onto her as you pushed through the sudden pains to reach the door. “He’s here! My necklace! They’ve returned!”
“Ah, finally! Of course they have,” she said calmly now that you weren’t in danger of falling. “I told you there was no need to worry. There are no other warriors in the world like ours,” she paused. “Well, assuming that not all avians are as gifted as your precious Keigo.”
You laughed softly. Keigo did tell you and many others that he was far from the only fighter in his homeland. Even after taking his hand in marriage, he refuses to reveal his reason for leaving his people, choosing to wander a land inhabited by humans who watched him with distrust. You have long since accepted his secretive nature.
Both of you pushed the door open and stepped outside, just in time to hear the bellow of a great horn, the sound traveling outside the city’s walls and up into the hills where your humble house stands. It wasn’t the most convenient location, but Keigo wanted to live on a higher spot, and you didn’t mind catering to his bird-like habits. Besides, waking up to soft breezes and birdsongs was much more pleasant than the bustling city.
Your maid kept a firm hold on your arm as you watched people rush through the streets and toward the gates, ready to welcome the brave men home. Your chest remained tightened. How many survivors were there? ‘It doesn’t matter,’ you selfishly thought. ‘Keigo is there. They won’t admit it, but he was the best out of all of them.’
“Don’t you even think of heading down there,” she was giving you a stern look that a mother would give a naughty child. “You’re still upholding your promise to stay close to home after falling ill so suddenly yesterday. I know you haven’t seen him in three months, but please be patient. You’ll be reunited soon.”
Your brooding may be responsible for the illness and pains that have been striking you more frequently, but frankly, if you were to ever collapse, you’d be more worried about the older woman’s heart than your own wellbeing. “Rest easy, I’m not going anywhere,” you promised her. “Besides, I’m quite certain that he’ll be coming to me very soon.”
“What? What do you mean? They need to answer to the king before they return to their families.”
“Yes, that’s what they’re expected to do...” You trailed off. There was an odd feeling in your gut, and it wasn’t the baby. It looked like everyone in the city has gathered in one giant mass, waiting for their heroes.
And then you saw him.
The gate was slowly opening, but something, someone has launched into the air and over the walls, and your heart lifted just as high. A man with a magnificent pair of crimson wings soared over each and every structure, heading up to the hills.
“Wh-H-He can’t do that! He’s ignoring the royal family’s wishes!” The poor maid was in a panic, but you were too stunned, too elated at the sight of your lover getting closer at an impossible speed.
The people of this kingdom have little exposure to non-human races. The simple sight of him dashing over the city and gracefully landing in front of you never failed to bring stars to your eyes.
Keigo Takami was already removing his bronze helmet as he approached, shaking out his head of tousled blond locks. You weren’t expecting him to look so presentable upon his return—it looked as if he had time for a decent bath before his final march home.
His bare chest looked mostly unscathed, only a few cuts and small traces of bruises littering his skin. The warriors detested his refusal to wear his chest plate; he claimed that it would only weigh him down during flight. He also rejected their weapons and relied on his own feathers to serve as his spears and swords. They did decide to let him go without a cloak, his wings working well enough as a replacement. The armor on his shins was also added weight, but not enough for him to complain about to the exasperated warriors. He told you himself that the only reason he wears the helmet that obscures his sharp vision, is because he admittedly likes the red crest.
But the one piece of equipment that the small army did not allow Keigo to reject, no matter how many times he whined about its size and weight, was the shield. The shield is his promise to protect not only himself, but the entire line of his fellow comrades in the heat of battle. So he held his tongue and carried the huge monster of bronze and leather, complete with a unique design of a hawk with its wings flared out like a rising phoenix.
You broke free of the maid’s grasp and rushed over to throw your arms around your beloved wanderer-turned-hero. He dropped his shield and helmet onto the soft earth (you can already hear his comrades screaming in horror) to hug you back gently, mindful of your belly that has grown so much during his time away. You took it all in—his warmth, his scent, the feeling of safety as his wings close around you—how badly you have missed his presence over the months hits you full force when he pulls back to bring you in for a kiss.
Amidst the heat and passion, you can hear the maid’s fumbled words as she excuses herself to head down to the city and welcome the others. You part from him before he steals the last of your breath, gazing into those friendly and playful golden orbs. You wondered how much deadlier those eyes looked when driving his red blades into any unfortunate opponents. His roughened, calloused fingers traced the lone feather hanging on your neck while you caressed his face.
His smooth and silky voice embraced both your ears and heart. “My beautiful bird.”
You never did come up with an affectionate little name for your foreign husband. “Keigo.”
He chuckled. “I hope you weren’t having any doubts while I was gone. No army in the world is going to keep me away from my mate for life.”
Mate. His choice of words was rather…barbarous sometimes. It took some time to adapt to your bed being the nest, or his excited talks of raising his very own flock. “You know that I can’t help but worry.”
“I know you’re strong, love, but don’t let your worry get to our chick,” he reminded you as his wings twitched. There was a serious shift in his face before he knelt down, touching your belly softly as his feathers shook.
Fear began to grip you. “Keigo? Is something wrong with the baby?”
He doesn’t answer immediately, taking another minute to listen carefully before looking up at you with a heartfelt smile. “Babies, love.”
Your eyes narrow…then widen in disbelief. “Twins?”
He nodded along with his flapping wings. “Two tiny hearts...I can feel them. These wings are never wrong.”
You didn’t know it was possible to feel even more joy, but you find yourself pulling him back up for another kiss. Two children to raise with your lover who returned from a war against a seemingly endless army. What did you do to please the gods and receive such a blessing?
“You know,” you said against his lips. “You should be on your way to the castle. The king-”
“Can wait,” he interrupted before attacking your lips with more quick pecks. “I appreciate how much this place has tolerated me. Despite how annoyed you all were the moment I arrived, no one ever forced me out, and I am truly grateful. But don’t think this ‘no good avian’ is going to become some all-noble knight just because he fought a million men to protect his home. I’m just showing my gratitude.”
You laughed into his face. “You really don’t want your reputation as a freeloading trickster to change? The royal family might have an incredible reward for you. For us.”
“Hmm, and what could they have in store for me? Free poultry for as long as I live?”
“Keigo,” you shook your head lightly, trying not to interrupt his lips.
“Too demanding? How about a discount on every purchase for as long as I live? Doesn’t that sound great?” He rubbed your stomach as his kisses trailed down to your jaw. “Don’t you want our chicks to have all the meat they deserve? So that they can grow into powerful birds of prey just like their father?”
His mouth reached your neck, and things were getting more heated than anticipated when his hot mouth closed over the flesh above your pulse. “Ah…” You gasped.
“Want to know what else I’ve been missing?” You can feel the naughty smirk curling against your throat. “I hope your stamina hasn’t lessened, little bird.”
You want to laugh at how he’s thinking about getting intimate already, but the licks against your sensitive skin are making it hard to resist. “Is your crazed lust another avian trait, or is it just you?” Your fingers tangled in his locks, urging him to keep going.
“Mmm, we’re not as anal about suppressing our urges.” A hand cups one of your tender breasts and gives it a soft squeeze. “Before you met me, did you ever expect to fuck your man so many times? Isn’t it liberating?”
The crude word spreads warmth somewhere lower. “We make love, Keigo.”
“Some nights, we do. Those louder and rougher nights, when I have you screaming through those shy hands covering your mouth? We’re fucking.”
Something was poking you down there, and that was your cue to move this indoors. “Clearly you have too much energy left from your glorious battles.” You motioned for him to pick up his gear before walking back to the house. “Now come inside.”
He grinned and licked his lips. “That’s where I always-”
“Keigo.”

Why yellow is the color of originality in the Karate Kid Universe
This is the part III of a post called "Color Theory in the Karate Kid Universe"
Alright, I really didn't expect to be doing a third part of this color thing, in fact, it was all supposed to be one post, but the more I write the more ideas come to my mind, and the more I watch, the more I realise new things, so I'll be analysing the color yellow and its meaning in Karate Kid and Cobra Kai.
First Impressions
The first time that we see yellow with a certain signifance is in a shirt Daniel is wearing under a blue flannel, in that same day he washes Mr. Miyagi's cars for the first time, and later in the movie he gets the first car he washed as a birthday gift, so it might not seem so important, after all the first apperance of the color is only the 50th minute of the movie.
But when we look at Cobra Kai, we see it appear way more. Starting by the oppening title.

Gangs
As the red and blue, I think it's another way to shows teams, and who is with whom. On episode two of season one, we have the oppening title yellow, with a red background, and when Miguel goes to school he's wearing a "shy" red, which is basically a dark red, with a grey shirt under it, meaning he's unconfortable and wants to blend in. When he sits with Demitri and Eli (binary brothers... Sorry couldn't contain myself) they are dressed in yellow tones, espeacially Demitri, which I think means they're both in the same side. Yasmine is also wearing yellow, and it's almost the same yellow that Demetri is, which I think could be a clue for the fact that they would be together later. Samantha is wearing blue though, and so is Kyler, who is wearing white too, but he has a black hat, which could be refrence to him being a bad person in the mind, or just a refrence to Johnny as I metioned in the first part.
When I first started thinking about this, I thought that yellow was Miguel's color, here's why:
He wears it A LOT, definetly more than the other characters, but when I was looking for these images, I realised that from S2E3 to S3E4, he didn't wear yellow at all, he mostly wore red (which shows the influence that Johnny has on him), sometimes blue (which shows that he's not completly Johnny) and he also wore a lot of black (which shows Kreese's influence, even though he was the student that bought Kreese's act the least, he still listened to him.)
Not to mention the fact that in season 1 episode 7, he takes Johnny's advice and acts like him, while Johnny takes Miguel's advice and does things his way, which is shown in their clothes (last picture above), and at first it seemed to me that yellow is Miguel's way of doing things, since red is Johnny's.
Originality
Untill that moment I was really confused, 'cause I saw some other characters such as Hawk, Tory, Robby and even Armand waering it, but not Miguel, I couldn't see a pattern at that point, but there were two scenes that made it very clear.
On the episode five of the third season, right after Johnny's trials of making Miguel walk again fails, he's wearing yellow, but after the concert where he moves his foot, he's back with red and black, until eight episode of the same season, Miguel wears yellow again, right after fighting with Johnny, and that was the thing that caught my attention. Whenever Miguel wasn't quite on Johnny's side, or anyone else's he wore yellow, but still I thought that that was his color.
The thing that really made me see it, was with Hawk. In the episode nine of season three he wears yellow, they go to the zoo to steal the snake, and he ends up seen as "not so cool" since Robby was the one that got it, after that he goes to Daniel's house to beggin what would be the big fight of the season, and he's wearing a red jacket, to show strength, but inside he's still wearing yellow, which means he still has some Eli inside, and that makes yellow the color of orginality, it's when you're being truly yourself.
As you can see in Tory's example, she's at home, so she's totally "comfortable", or at least she's not trying to show anyone anything, and Armand is completly comfortable, after all he doesn't have any manners when eating. But what about Sam and Robby?
Feeling lost
Here's when I noticed that things weren't that simple, in Sam's case, she wears yellow right after seeing Kyler being a bully, so she's confused. Robby is clearly confused, after all he starts the scene not wanting anything to do with his father, then accepts his help, but soon gets mad at him. Hawk doesn't wear it because he's confident enough, that was right after he started realising what he was becoming, we see that throughout the whole season, but he's still resisting, he still wants to stay in that "cool" position, we see that as he tries to hide the "Eli he has inside" by wearing a red jacket.
I think that yellow is only the color of originality for characters who haven't found who they truly are yet. If we look back at the Red vs. Blue thing, we'll see that not only red means more ofense, and blue means more defense, but blue is Daniel's true self, and red is Johnny's true self, of course that they wear different colors some times to show the things I said, but not only things usually doesn't go that well, but they act differently then the usual, so Johnny's originality is red, and Daniel's is blue, but these other character don't know yet.
The logo
That's why I think that Cobra Kai chose yellow to be the title color, this show is telling us, that this rivality is makes no sense, and the new characters are trying to find their own identities, even if they use the help of pre-existing concepts, they still gotta search for themselves.
Now, you may say that this is all bullshit, and the only reason for the show to have the title yellow is because the Cobra Kai original logo is yellow, but I disagree, because at the end of every episode we see a dark silver Cobra Kai logo instead of the yellow, black and red one, which I think means the new perspective Johnny is about to discover: Cobra Kai is very dark, and bad in general.
As I've said before, this is all just theories and I would love to hear the opinion of people who disagree.
Peace! :)

I feel like this chapter really kind of supports that the pros (E, Jeanist, and Hawks) don't have a clue on how to actually fix this situation. Even though it was frowned on that the kids were involved in the raid, they have to involve Deku so they might as well involve new perspectives to resolve the issues that are beyond them??? I am annoyed at Hawks too. I see a lot of people annoyed at E for avoiding Shouto, but Hawks avoiding Tokoyami after saying he wanted to work with him again? 1/2
After Toko saved his life (sure they could have had a chat in the hospital and it could come up as a flashback, but with how fast Hawks is moving and with his focus mostly on E, I somehow doubt it...), I don't really get their logic here except for them to be messing things up (they could be honoring Deku's wishes to protect his friends from AFO but idk...). I hope Fumikage confronts Hawks or something. 2/2
I don’t disagree!
Except, I’m just not sold on Tokoyami having a huge role in Hawks’s development. I think Hawks is definitely tied into the Todofam plot line, and I think it’s gonna stay that way until his arc hits its peak and he finally makes a positive change. That is…if he’s not retconned into oblivion. Toko and Hawks’s relationship just isn’t that developed and to me personally, I’m not interested in seeing it develop further. If Tokoyami was more of a character before this point I’d agree, but I don’t think that would be a compelling way to handle Hawks. It’s not the Kid:Villain set up we have with the others, so it really doesn’t fit to me.
But as for the pros, yes I agree they don’t have any idea how to fix the situation. What I find interesting about that is, we know they don’t know that Midoriya wants to save a villain. So right now they’re just thinking strictly on how to punitively handle the situation, and it’s gonna be great when the way they least expected (saving the villain) is what fixes everything. I think it’s important to note that they have absolutely NO idea how to fix the situation. Precisely because they aren’t doing what’s right.

ty for your answer! I loved hearing your thoughts on bnha. Personally I think the hero society is going to change and I think that leaves a chance for the villains to be redeemd or looked at differently in some way? something like that. because wasnt that how the narrative was set up? the kids are going to change it, after all thats 'how they became the greatest heroes' - especially now since its clearly been broken down and exposed to everyone. the kids dont look at the villains the same way the heroes do, they see something deeper. i have hope the story will be more in depth than they just die or get arrested. as for Toya, wishful thinking here but if he settles down and gets hospitalized, there's Eri right if he burns himself further? but yeah, the story is feeling rushed and I'm scared because the last chapter didnt even make me feel excited. I just wanted more character interaction/comfort and perspective, not an immediate second war lol
i'm glad you loved reading my answer! we mostly think the same, so i also love hearing your thoughts as well ☺ i too think that hero society is going to change and in the future heroes will take care of the villains in a healthier way, i mean, otherwise i would be very disappointed. we didn't have an entire arc focused on villains and their sad backstories (MVA) only for them to keep suffering until the end. although i don't know how this change will happen. it is true that our hero trio wants to save our villain trio, but i don't think that means rest of the students want to save them as well. maybe they will think like that after this war, who knows, but currently i don't think anyone thinks the way izuku ochako and shoto does. not to mention the stubborn heroes... oh, i haven't thought about eri healing toya before! that's a good point!! i would love that, because i especially want to see toya heal from not only his scars but also his trauma. about hori rushing things, you're so right for not feeling excited. i don't feel that excited as well. but that's the problem, isn't it? this is THE final war. we MUST feel excited. clearly, something is going wrong. have you read the latest chapter spoilers by the way?
( don’t read if you don’t want to see spoilers )
it seems like the heroes are finally seperating the villains. although i want tomura, toga, toya, and spinner to fight together and take care of each other, i think seeing them fight independently could be interesting too. we'll see!
( don’t read if you don’t want to see spoilers )
i hope horikoshi doesn't rush things any longer and we can have a war arc that's as good as the first one!
hmm, it's not that i hate him, i just feel neutral towards him tbh. it is true that i want to see him punished for his actions but i don't want him to die. as you said, it would be much better if we saw him question his thinking. but do you really believe that will happen eventually? i think that will happen only if he talks to toga or toya about twice. otherwise, i don't think hawks will change his way of thinking or resign or anything. moreover, i don't think he thinks what he did doesn't make him a hero anymore. i mean, it could be because we haven't seen him think about twice after the war, but he... already moved on? pretty quickly? does it ever cross his mind that he actually killed a person? a person he thought was "good"? does he question the system that made him do it? does he despise the selfish society that constantly push heroes to do this type of stuff? maybe he does and hori doesn't show it to us, who knows. but for now, it doesn't seem like this situation is weighing on him. as far as we are allowed to see, at least. and about the part "the man he looked up to being exposed as abusive"... does he care? no, if you ask me. he acts the same. maybe this is poor writing or maybe this is the way hawks is, idk... but hawks has been very disappointing to me ever since the war arc and it still is the same unfortunately! so i'm looking forward to a fight between toga and him that will shake him up real good.
#once again thanks for writing to me!!#i really enjoy talking to you about bnha! ♥#hope you also have a good day/night!!#answered#bnha
