I would definitely re-read this and read more from her!

I 100% recommend this book!

Clean for the most part, there are no bad scenes, just leading up to/right before it happens. Mainly kisses

Thoughts: this is a very adorable book that I think you should read. I didn't give this 5 stars because I got confused in some parts but other than that it was very good. There are many parts that people should read, it represents coming out how it really is for a lot of people, which i reallt liked. SPOILERS AHEAD:

Charlie and Luke>Sage and Nick idkw but I personally enjoyed reading charlie and luke's relationship more. Both are absolutely adorable though.

The Summer of Broken Rules by K. L. Walther

Genre: YA

Rating: 4/5 🐐

AHHHH. Okay. This book is SOOO cute. It's a precious little YA novel that just grabs your heart (is there anything better than young love?). With a quick-witted (*wink wink*) cast, there's so much laughter to be had while reading this book. It's cute, it's fun (with the exception of the dead sister, but characters have trauma bond), it's everything.

If you're holding onto summer (why would you?), this book is truly perfect. It is the epitome of a fun summer book. The only downside—timelines, but that is also such a convention of this genre that I shouldn't be shocked.

Read this adorable book and I guarantee (well not guarantee, but like STRONGLY believe) that your day will be better!

I definitely will read this again and I recommend this!

MY FAVORITE K L WALTHER BOOK!! This book was so so good. There were a few scenes that weren't the cleanest but never details. The only thing I didn't like was that it was mainly in the span of 1 night but then the rest of that week.

This review is long over due, I had one chapter left then got covid (i dont read when im sick) and I finished this a while ago so I'm very sorry this is so late
