— Inosuke is not used to sleeping with other people, and you can tell he’s never been cuddled either. He tenses up and wriggles away the first time you attempt to spoon him in your sleep.
“You really don’t want to cuddle, Inosuke?” you sighed dejectedly.
“Why would I?!”
You make a sad face and shuffle back to your own bedroll. With Inosuke’s usual total disregard for personal space, you’d thought he wouldn’t mind if you swooped in for a cuddle. He’s very much like a cat in that regard, he only wanted to be touched on his terms.
There’s a moment of silence before you hear grumbling and shuffling, and the next thing you know he’s pressed to your side, the fur of his mask tickling your chin as he tucks his “face” into the crook of your neck.
— Refuses to sleep any other way after that.
— He’ll act betrayed when you take naps without him when he’s readily available. “You took a nap without me?!” his heart is shattered, how could you?
— God forbid one or both of you are injured and get put in separate rooms because as soon as he wakes, he’s sneaking out to crawl into your bed with you. No amount of scolding from you or Shinobu is gonna keep him away for long.
— Tends to spoon you subconsciously, either slipping a leg between yours or wrapping it around you n holding onto you like a backpack.
— He moves around a lot in his sleep, so prepare to wake up with a foot in your face or from getting kicked. Especially if he’s having particularly engaging dreams, you may or may not be mistaken for some all-powerful beast for Inosuke to conquer in dreamland.
— Inosuke is so god damn hyper in the morning and it can be a lot, especially since he wants you to be up too so you can start a new day together. It’s hard to keep up with his enthusiasm, and sometimes you just turn over and cover your ears with a pillow to drown him out. Most times that'll get your blankets yoinked, and you’ll be beaten to death (not really) with that same pillow.
“HEY DON’T IGNORE ME! WAKE UP!”
— Though sometimes he can be soft. You’ll wake up to a strange weight on your tummy and find him sitting there, staring at you like a cat waiting for its owner to wake up. And sometimes he’ll just lay back down, covering you with his body and nuzzling his face into your neck. And if you lift a heavy hand to play idly with his hair, he might just fall back asleep again.
𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐎
— A cuddle bug that wants nothing more than to snuggle up on the futon with you after a long night of demon slaying.

— His duties as the Sun Hashira often keep him away for long periods, and he definitely misses your presence at his side when he stops to rest. It’s simply not the same without the weight of your arm strewn over his waist or the soft sounds of your breathing. He’ll even miss your snoring. That’s why he's always eager to return, all of his worries disintegrating as you gather him in your arms and murmur sweet things to him until he nods off.
— In the summer months, he’ll understand if you don’t want to cuddle, but he’ll want to at least hold your hand.
— Settling down for the night together is a cherished ritual and he wants to be a part of it. Whether it’s taking pins or accessories out of your hair, or putting it into a protective style for sleeping, he wants to help out. He’s also damn good at giving massages and head rubs, so never be afraid to ask if you need a little more help winding down. That man lives to dote on you.
— Tanjiro rarely has the heart to wake you up early, but he makes you breakfast and leaves notes around your home if he’s gotta run somewhere. He melts into a puddle if he finds you making breakfast early in the morning, domesticity really does it for him.

— Zenitsu sleepwalks as I’m sure you can imagine. You’ll wake up to him out of bed, standing ominously in the middle of the room.
“Zenitsu honey, come back to bed,” you’d murmur tiredly after the initial shock wears off. Even asleep he bends to your will, crawling back onto the futon to sidle up against you once more.
— Other times you’ll hear noises coming from the kitchen and find him making a whole meal in his goddamn sleep. Which is quite adorable, but also dangerous like pls you’re going to hurt yourself.
— The times he’s not wandering about, he’s snuggled up to you as close as he can get, face buried in your chest or neck, arms and legs wrapped around you.
— He snores if he’s on his back but it’s soft enough to sleep through.

— Zenitsu tends to sleep sprawled out on top of you. Oftentimes he returns from a long day of demon slaying, crawls right on top of you, and crashes for several hours.

— Zenitsu never wants either of you to leave the bed in the mornings. He’ll cling, whine, and plead for “five more minutes.” (but it’s always much longer than that)
— Sometimes you can coax him to release the death grip around your waist with promises of his favorite breakfast or endless kisses, other times you’ll just have to cope with being late to places.
𝐊𝐘𝐎𝐉𝐔𝐑𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐎𝐊𝐔
— Deep sleeper!! with you anyways. As soon as he’s out, very little will wake him.
— Kyo’s definitely a cuddler! And the best suited for it too since he radiates heat like a furnace. It’s stifling during the summer months, but he truly can’t bear to be parted from you. Sleeping light or nude would be best, not like you’ll have to worry about getting cold when your husband is a literal space heater.
— He’s an absolute dream during the colder months, and you know he takes full advantage of the weather as an excuse to snuggle every second of the day.
— Mumbles in his sleep every now and then. It’s usually gibberish or a breathy chuckle, but sometimes you can discern whispers of “tasty” and bits and pieces of your name.
— Kyojuro becomes reliant on your presence to sleep over time. It happened so slowly he didn’t realize his dependency until he found himself lying wide awake and restless out in the field.
— He swore he could fall asleep anywhere before he met you but now… now he needs the sound of your soft snores next to his ear. He needs the feeling of your warm body against his. How was he supposed to sleep without someone there to hog the blanket? or crawl on top of him in the middle of the night when close just wasn’t close enough?
— Worst of all, you aren’t there to pet his hair and whisper sweet nothings to him as he wakes up — it’s those moments he wouldn’t trade for the world. You always treat him with such care, allowing yourself to be held hostage in bed until he also awoke, even when his profession meant his rest stretched on into the afternoon hours.
“The Flame Hashira lives!” you’d sing playfully as he blinks the film of sleep from his eyes, staring up at you with nothing but love and adoration. You’d lean down to kiss his lonely forehead, but not before purring your eagerly awaited utterance of “Good morning, baby.”
His eyes flutter closed as your lips brush over his forehead, grinning so widely his cheeks dimple.
“G’morning, darling flame,” he’d rasp in that rumbly morning voice that makes your cheeks feel warm. “Sorry to keep you waiting.”
— Kyojuro tends to nod off while he’s got his head resting on your lap during dates, especially if you start playing with his hair. He wakes up later to find you’ve also drifted off while sitting up, slumped forward just slightly. Your hair frames your face, the late afternoon sun casting an ethereal glow onto you.
— Napping together is quite a regular occurrence, especially when your duties tend to keep you up during the evening hours. If you’re a slayer too, your sleep schedules match up rather nicely, meaning you’ll be frequently found in a tangle of limbs somewhere.
— If you have children, you’ll often find them knocked out cold with their father. (he’s the type to fall asleep with a baby on his chest) it’s the kind of scene that puts tears in your eyes and makes you sink to your knees. It’s all too tempting to join the cuddle pile with your husband and children.
𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐔𝐙𝐔𝐈 + 𝐖𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒
— Tengen snores, but not as loud as Suma. The two of them are making harmonies while Makio and Hinatsuru hardly make any noise at all. Though the three of you can all agree you wouldn’t be able to sleep without the sound of your lovers’ snoring after a while.
— They all say goodnight to one another which is very adorable.
“Goodnight Suma.” “Goodnight Hina.” “Goodnight Makio.” “Goodnight Lord Tengen!!” “Goodnight Y/nnnnn~”
It’s back and forth until everyone is accounted for
— You five sleep in a tangle of limbs, but it’s the coziest cuddle pile you’ll ever sleep in. Tengen’s been married long enough not to be disturbed by shuffling or moving around since sleeping with various other people requires occasional readjusting no matter how you romanticize it.
— Suma usually demands a spot at your side so she can wrap herself around you like a koala. — Hinatsuru sings you lullabies when you just can’t seem to sleep and plays with your hair. Her fingers scratch lovingly over your scalp, smiling as your eyelids droop further under her gentle affections and ethereal voice. You always wake up with a mouthful of her hair, but it’s so worth it.
— Makio gives excellent head rubs when you have a headache, and although she may pretend that you’re a nuisance, you can tell she enjoys taking care of her partners. She’s a big spoon and likes to hold your hand while she sleeps, blushing furiously when you raise her knuckles to your lips.
— Tengen rarely manages to snag you from his wives’ clutches for a spot at your side, but when he does he wraps his entire body around you and nearly smothers you with his heat. He cutely holds things while he sleeps so expect to wake up in a headlock. And if you’re in his clutches when he goes to roll over, you’re getting rolled over as well. It’s a bit disorienting, but he soothes you with an apologetic kiss on your temple if he wakes you.
— Tengen thinks it’s endearing that you try to hold him just like he holds everyone else, even with him being so big. You don’t seem to mind his size, wrapping yourself around him like a backpack and tucking his head under your chin.
— Mornings consist of detangling and lots and lots of kisses!

Tanjiro tried to ignore your teasing. “Tanjiro?” You call from the other side of the door and he tears his hands from his mouth, cringing from pure embarrassment.
“Yeah, Y/N?” His voice came out a pitch higher with nerves. He grips his kimono, trying to pull himself back together.
“Can you come in here? I need some help.”
He pauses for a moment. This was a test, it had to be. You were without a shirt in there; why would you need his help now of all times? But still, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He wasn’t about to let this opportunity slide. So, he nods to himself, taking a deep breath to calm his nerves and focus on trying to calm his dick down. He can do this. “Yeah, of course!” He chirps as normally as he can and gently opens the door again.
There you stand with your back to him, still in the same bra as a couple of seconds ago. He freezes, and blood rushes to his face. Maybe he couldn’t do this.
“It’s stuck. I can't unclip it,” You whine, craning your neck to look back at him. His heartbeat begins to pick up and he subtly moves his hand to try to hide his growing cock. This was bad. Really bad.

You turn around, and Tanjiro’s eyes nearly pop out of his head. His face turns a dark shade of red and he is left speechless. He was struggling to look at your face though, too enamored by the sight in front of him.

To deal with his problem alone, and rightfully so for what he did to you.

He stares at the door, eyes wide. “What did you say?”

His mouth goes dry, and everything goes blank. His eyes drift back to his hard on, and he subtly readjusts his clothing. Then, with much hesitance, Tanjiro nods. “Um…Can I? If that's okay with you of course…”

He flushes red, and nods again. Then, he slowly turns back to you. He makes sure to stare at your face this time, even with the newfound approval. He tried to maintain some sort of respect. The nervous boy pads over to you, and finally, when he stands merely inches away from you, he stares at the floor. Now what.
You sense his nerves immediately, and bite your lip to hold back another giggle. Then you reach your own hands out and grab onto his. He jumps a little, startled by the movement, but ultimately allows you to hold them. Your hands hold onto his wrists, and bring them to your chest. A hand on each tit.
Tanjiro stares, his mind going blank. He doesn’t dare to move his hands, afraid that he might hurt you. They are warm. Warmer than he thought they were going to be, but that makes sense, considering they are mounds of fatty tissue. He doesn't think about the logistics of it.
The two of you stand in silence, and honestly, although Tanjiro may be enamored, you are feeling a little awkward. He hasn't moved an inch. “Are you frozen or something?”
He finally breaks his trance to look up at you sheepishly. “Oh! R-Right. Yeah…”
The hands finally begin to move, and he squeezes the skin, ever so gently. His eyes widen at the feeling, and he gulps. “Soft,” He mumbles to himself, giving another testing squeeze. You hold back a giggle. He really seemed to be enthralled by them.

Just imagine being so stressed after a long day, whether it was work, maybe pressure from expectations, or you’re just completely exhausted. There doesn’t even have to be a reason, you’re just tired and drained.

“Y/n! Be careful!” Tanjiro who had been below you was holding onto the wobbling ladder you were standing on. He had helped you already hang up banners in half the estate. Now there was only the other half to go. And despite you being the one on the top of the latter, Tanjiro seemed to be way more anxious at you being up there.
Your body stretched forward in an attempt to hook up the end of the lavender banner to the other side of the wall. Without realizing, you began to wobble in the slightest, stressing out Tanjiro in fear of you falling.
“Dear, be careful!” You quickly paused your actions. Thankfully, you had already hooked up the end of the banner. You felt your face get hot as you looked down at Tanjiro, checking to see if he had coincidentally called someone else dear. But he had been staring right at you.
At first, he seemed confused on why you became to flustered out of no where. Until he realized what he said. His own face turned a dark red as he tried to explain himself. But he only became a stuttering mess.

Your back had been facing zenitsu as you were trying to finally get some sleep. That was until zenitsu snapped you out of your thoughts by poking your back repeatedly. With a small sigh you turned the other way to face Zenitsu.
As every other time you saw him, he had tears in his eyes. “What happened, Zenitsu?” You asked, your eyes half lidded as you just wanted sleep. It took everything in you to not pass out in the middle of your conversation with him.
That conversation had mostly just been him talking to you. But you couldn’t pay attention to a single thing you said. “Love? Are you okay?” Your eyes suddenly widened as you felt yourself blush.
“AWW! YOU’RE BLUSHING!”
“Zenitsu, Go to sleep!” Tanjiro yelled, throwing a pillow right at the boys head as Inosuke began laughing loudly.

You, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and him all planned on going to a small festival nearby just for the fun of it. And for a break from slaying demons. And as the only thing you wear every day now being the demon slayer uniform, you didn’t think it would hurt to dress up a little.
Being out of the corps uniform felt comforting in a way. Despite still having to bring your katana just in case, it felt nice to feel like a normal person your age.
You walked outside, seeing only inosuke outside, dressed up and out of the usual pants he would wear. But the boar mask remained. You stood beside the boy, waiting for the other two to come.
“You look pretty..” You heard a Mutter from inosuke, making you shocked. You turned over to the boy with a questioning look on your face.
“Did you-“
“No!” He yelled quickly, crossing his arms. A small blush dusted your cheeks as you moved your arms over to his boar mask to take it off. The moment you did, you noticed his red face making yourself turn red as well.
Taisho Secret!: When Inosuke told you that you looked pretty, Tanjiro heard and brought it up to you during the festival making your face turn pink. Inosuke saw and felt a little jealous but he’ll never admit that.

♡He spoke without thinking. And the very moment it slipped out of his mouth, it took no time for him to turn the darkest shade or red.
♡You immediately turned a light red but the moment Genya began apologizing for calling you that and assumingely making you uncomfortable, you felt really bad.
♡100% had to assure him multiple times that it was completely fine and you didn’t mine one bit. He stopped apologizing but he was stiff as a board the entire day as he couldn’t shake off what had happened.

“Love, what are you doing tomorrow?” Muichiro asked, gazing up at the sky as his head was still placed on your shoulder.

Taisho Secret!: Since Muichiro never got a direct answer from you, he spent and entire month thinking the two of you were dating and so Mitsuri had to later explain he hadn’t asked you out yet. Maybe that’s why you got so embarrassed when Muichiro told Zenitsu the two of you were dating.

Demon Slayer characters when you kiss for the first time
Tanjiro
He was very shy when starting the kiss, however, it seemed to flow very naturally between the two of you. Almost like you had been doing this for many years before. He made sure that he had his hands on either side of your face to make you as comfortable as possible. When you broke apart, he gave you a little peck on the nose and voiced his love for you whilst still holding your face.
Zenitsu
Blushing like crazy for the whole thing. Poor boy was a stuttering and blushing mess before, during and after you shared your first kiss. 9/10 chance that he almost faints when you break apart. It's become his new hobby that he likes to indulge in, however, he likes to make sure that each kiss he gives you is very special.
Inosuke

It was a bit of a rough kiss at first. Almost like he was trying to prove a point to you or something. But when he was used to the feel of your kissing, he learned to be more gentle with you. When he leaves to do this, kissing is something that you really both enjoy and do a lot more frequently. Your first kiss was a bit of a roller-coaster but it only went uphill form there.

She definitely giggled a lot. She was so excited to finally kiss you that she was practically screaming! Your first kiss together was really tender and you both loved every second of it. She made sure that it was in a really romantic setting to make you feel more special. Now every time you kiss, she brags about it to everyone else.

"My My, Aren't You Adorable -Alastor with a Nezuko Reader
🎙Alastor was a little surprised when he met you for the first time. You still retained your human appearance, but he could smell that you were a demon, but different. You looked very young, which made him feel some pity for you since you had died at such a young age. He did find you very adorable when he met you, finding your expressions to be so innocent. "My my, aren't you simply adorable?" as he patted your head.
🎙Your attire confused him greatly, he couldn't tell if you were wearing a dress or some type of odd suit. Niffty, surprisingly, was able to tell him it was a traditional Japanese kimono, and they were commonly worn in Japan. He still found it odd, but said nothing else. He found out that you could change your size, when he saw you shrink down to Niffty's size and gave her a hug. Well that certainly was an interesting power.
🎙The muzzle on your mouth angered him a bit. He prefers to see a smile whenever he is conversing with another, so why cover it? You tried to explain it to him, but it didn't go well, since you could only say "mmm mmm" with the muzzle covering your mouth. Charlie kindly gave you a piece of paper to write down your responses to make it easier for everyone to understand. They understood now that you wore the muzzle to control you from biting anyone, which answered Alastors question, but it still annoyed him.
🎙Al slowly got use to you as time went by. True, he couldn't speak to you normally, but you were very expressive with your face and hands. You were naturally friendly with him, which shocked him a bit, since given his status he is use to being feared, but you weren't. Quite a strange demon you were.
🎙He learned later on that you were a very affectionate creature, as whenever he appeared, you would run up and hug him, or pat his head. He abhorred being touched by anyone, yet when it came from you and gazing into your sweet eyes, he couldn't find it in him to push you away. Goodness, he hoped he wasn't going soft.
🎙During one of Charlie's group exercises, she wanted everyone to explain their past, if they wanted to. Once it was your turn, you wrote down your tragic past. That once peaceful winter morning with your family soon turned into a nightmare as they were all slaughtered by another demon. Only you and your brother survived, but the attack, instead of killing you, turned you into a demon. Somehow, you were able to control your urges, and still retain some of your memories when you were human, which help prevent you from hurting others and those you cared about. Everyone around you felt heartbroken once you told them, resulting in a group hug from everyone, except Al, but he was kind enough to place a warm hand on your shoulder.
🎙Alastor appeared like your story didn't bother him that much, but inside he was fuming with rage. Once he heard the name of the demon who orchestrated the death of your family, "Muzan", he made a long list in his mind of how he could torture/kill that bastard. Oh how he was going to enjoy his screams.
🎙During one of his outings with you, clothes shopping for new attire, he, unfortunately, ran into his sworn enemy, Vox. "Well well, if it isn't the piece of sh✪✪ television!" Alastors eyes, glared at the walking TV, wishing to rip it right off. Vox walked closer to the both of you, wearing a cocky smirk. "Hahaha! Finally come to your senses, and decided to join my team!" Alastor rolled his eyes, letting out a "Ha! No!"
🎙Vox's hypnotic eyes soon locked on to you, causing you to let out a growl, that caught Al's attention. "Well who is this pretty little thing? Your new to-POW!!!" Vox could barley finish his sentence as you gave a roundhouse kick straight into his screen, sending him flying back." Alastors eyes widen at that, shocked by your strength. He soon watched as you began to transform.
🎙The muzzle on your mouth was bitten off, allowing him to see your fangs. Your body had grown in height, along with leaf like markings appearing on your skin, and large horn protruding from your forehead. Your once sweet innocent eyes were now in slits and veins were protruding from your face. Breathtaking was the first thing Al thought of, upon witnessing your full demon form.
🎙Vox was still alive, even after that strong kick, but he was feeling enraged. "WHY YOU LITTLE BIT✪✪!!!" Wires began to protrude from his head, launching at you like snakes. Vox managed to cut one of your limbs off, but his mouth was left agaped that you were able to regenerate it back. Throwing some of your blood at Vox and his wires, you activated your blood art power, sending him and the wires ablaze, burning them in hell fire.
🎙Realizing you were a much powerful foe, he retreated. Now it was only you and Al alone again. You slowly transformed back into your normal form, looking back at Alastor, without the muzzle this time. Alastor was a bit stunned at what had just transpired. He didn't expect you to defend him like that. What tremendous power you possessed.
🎙Walking closer to him, you smiled at him for the first time. It made his black little heart race, seeing such a pure smile on your face. "Are you okay?", he heard you say. Your voice was so soft-spoken, that it shocked Alastor even more. Shaking his head to clear his mind, Al walked closer to you, placing a hand on your head, ruffling your hair. "Quite alright my dear! I must say, that was an amazing show of power. You are full of surprises aren't you!" Alastor smiled down at you, giving you a soft smile, then his regular joker-like smile.
🎙Snapping his fingers, he repaired the bamboo muzzle that you had broken. "Here you go, my dear! Though I prefer you without it! That smile of yours is quite lovely." After that whole incident with Vox, Alastor became much closer to you. He now saw you as a close friend, and loved you like a daughter. Anyone who dared harmed you, would have to suffer the wrath of the Radio demon.

— As much as pet names make his heart soar, he melts when you call him by his first name. The tender way your lips form around each syllable as if his name was something so dear to you. It makes his stomach flip every time you utter it. Kyojuro. Kyojuro. Kyojuro~ nothing sets his heart ablaze quite like your adoring voice echoing his name back to him.
— He’s Rengoku to most that know him, big brother to Senjuro, but to you he’s just Kyojuro. Your Kyojuro.
— However, there are some pet names that get those butterflies going: my love, honey, baby—something about being called baby makes him soften visibly. He gets that wet smile on his face and big eyes that say, Yes that’s me.
— He really really likes it when you call him “husband” there’s something so domestic and coy about it that makes his heart flutter.
“Husbanddd, I require your assistance!” You often shout to him from the other room when you need help with something, and whether it’s simply a dish from a high shelf or a piece of furniture that needs to be moved, he pops his head into the room with an enthusiastic “Yes, wife!?”
(He especially likes it if you aren’t married yet, so when you teasingly call him “husband” it sounds like a promise.)
— Kyojuro has a multitude of pet names for you! He thinks your name is beautiful but he only calls you it when he’s feeling serious. Prepare to adopt second names by the day.
— Names such as: my love, my flame, my heart’s fire, darling flame, my heart.
— And if he’s feeling particularly syrupy? He'll sing out names like sunflower and sunshine. cus you’re the ever-glimmering light of his life 🥺
— Everything that comes out of this man’s mouth sounds like a declaration of love.
— Another one he’s fond of is little flame.
“I’m not so little!“ you’d proclaim, making a face as he pats your head affectionately.
“Compared to me you are!” he’d laugh with his whole chest, teeth showing as he tosses his head back in glee.
— And even if you’re taller than him (which I’m sure he’d find incredibly enchanting, being able to rest his head on your shoulder and standing on his tippy toes to kiss you) you’re still his cute little flame.
𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐎
— He’s pure as they come when it comes to romance; shy but loyal to a fault! Tanjiro is a little clueless on how to go about the whole relationship business being so sheltered, all of his knowledge of courting rituals and such he observed from his parents (and they weren’t around very long to teach him 💀)
— Tanjiro honestly loves to call you by your name. He thinks it’s pretty and suits you perfectly. It took a great deal of conditioning to convince him it was alright to call you by your first name. To call you by your first name feels like an honor, so naturally, he’d want to utter it as often as you’d allow.
— You can’t help but love the way he almost whispers it like a precious secret between you. His gentle voice always takes on an adoring quality when he says your name, every syllable honeyed and reverent.
— Tanjiro’s pet names are sickeningly sweet things like: sweetheart, flower, beautiful, and petal.
Nothing better than waking up to his kind gaze already trained on you, a muttered “good morning, beautiful.” against your temple as you’re still stirring from sleep. He gets that lovesick puppy look on his face when you reply with, “good morning to you too, handsome.”
— Tanjiro would let you call him anything you wanted, no matter how silly. You can’t go wrong with a cute shortening of his name like Tanji or a simple “my love” if you’re feeling sappy—and with such a loving partner as Tanjiro, wouldn’t you? He loves you so passionately it’s hard not to let the syrupy pet names fall like rain when he looks at you like that.
— His favorite though? Honey. Something about it just makes his brain turn to mush, he’d do anything for you when you call him that.
“Tanjiro honey, the bathroom door’s stuck shut again!” You’d holler, bouncing a fussing child with one hand and trying to pry the stubborn door open with the other.
He’s at your side in seconds, wrenching the door open with considerable force. You sigh in relief, smiling when you feel his lips against your cheek, and watch as he shushes your child by simply stroking a thumb over their forehead.
“Thank you, honey,” you sighed, planting your own kiss to your husband’s cheek. He only beams, holding the door open for you and scooping your child into his own arms to let you have some much-needed alone time.
𝐙𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐀
— I think it’s pretty obvious that Zenitsu is an avid pet name enjoyer, both giving and receiving!
— He struggles not to shorten your name or replace it entirely with sugary pet names before you’re even official. And once you are irrevocably his? Prepare to forget your real name because you’ll never hear it from him again. Y/n? Who’s that?
— Your new names include: dearest, my love, sweetie, angel, peach blossom, sugar, honey—the list goes on and on!
— His pet names only get sillier and sappier, but you’ll never have a dull moment with him that’s for sure. Zenitsu also uses the silly ones to make you laugh and can you blame him? It's his favorite sound <3
— Zenitsu doesn’t expect you to pick up his habit and start calling him your own sweet names.
— The first time you called him sweetheart his head whipped around so fast, eyes sparkling as he looked left and right, pointing to himself to ensure you were speaking to him. And when you nod he nearly bursts into joyous tears, fists clinging onto your kimono. It’s the first time he’d been given a sweet name, he can’t help blubbering his approval into your clothes.
— Zenitsu turns to mush before your eyes for any pet names, but his personal favorites to be called are: sweetheart (he melts every time), my love, my heart, and baby—that name in particular makes him get all misty-eyed and following after you like a puppy (another name I HIGHLY recommend calling him)
— Definitely soft for being called “husband.” it reminds him that he’s found someone that isn’t going to give up on him. No matter how many times he cries or falters; you’ll always be right there by his side. And then of course being married is his ultimate fantasy, so he can’t help but puff up with pride when you refer to him as your husband.
— Call him “pretty boy” and he’ll actually die. local man found dead in the marketplace after being called pretty by his own wife.
— it gets to a point where he grimaces when you use his actual name like who tf is Zenitsu? He’s sweetheart? He’s baby? 🤨
