yknow i could very easily accept someone not liking the mobile kh games if people actually gave... understandable reasons??

mostly i've heard that they're 'inaccesable'. which. they're in general more accessable since the console they run on is a phone, a device more people have than a ps4. though, granted, it is the offline version of both games only.

however, if you don't have a phone, have limited space on your phone, or are uninterested in a mostly unplayable game, all of which are understandable, there are cutscene compilations (ux (story important, all), dr) available on youtube too!

if the lots of reading is the issue then there is a completely dubbed version of the cutscenes of ux and you can easily find voiced playthroughs of both union x and dark road on youtube as well.

(for instance, here is a playthrough of dark road that i watched as my phone needed repairs by the time i had caught up with the series enough to move onto khdr. but, of course, there are many more options if you simply search up 'kingdom hearts [dark road/union x] playthrough' on youtube. find whichever one suits the kind of videos you like to watch best!)

if you don't have the time to sit through all of the cutscenes, there are summaries also avaliable! here is a video one for union x, and though unfortunately i can't find a similar one for dark road, it is also always acceptable to just read the wiki section on the story of the game! (here is the union x wiki section as well)

the other major complaint i've heard is that it's 'too confusing' or that the story 'doesn't make sense in parts'.

to which i first must ask, what part of kingdom hearts does make sense to you then? many many signifigant, heavily important parts of this series can be the most mind boggling things you have ever read or heard. so much so that we are known as the fans of that overly complex and insane disney game. that is what we are known for!!

and more to an actual point, there are many many people out there in this fandom who would be thrilled to talk to you about parts of the plot you found confusing. who have posts pages and pages long on minute details.

we are all fans of this weird ass game series and we all can. i don't know. help each other, newcomers and people who have been here awhile alike. us fans who like the mobile games are no different. we are willing to share and help and explain anything you need.

and as for the take that the mobile games are 'unimportant'.

strelitzia, someone deeply important to marluxia, larxene, and ventus' backstories, is seemingly implied to be one of the main characters in kh4 and if you have no knowledge of union x, then you likely have zero idea who she is.

the foretellers and the master of masters are being set up as potential villians in the next arc of the series. all of these characters were introduced in union x, four years before back cover released. and while yes, back cover gives the perspective of the foretellers more while union x is from the eyes of the keykids, there are many interactions with the foretellers in union x, beyond the scope of back cover, that are deeply important to the plot and establishment of their characters.

while yes, dark road has drastically less set up for the future in it, as all of the characters featured are now dead, it gives a lot of depth to xehanort and eraqus both. eraqus' behaviours and motivations are given reason—not necessarily morally good ones, and certainly not ones that always provide justification for his actions, but actual fully defined reasons for it all.

as it has always been with kh, every game is important to understand the story. you couldn't simply play kh1 kh2 and kh3 and expect to understand everything, and you can not expect to understand everything if you don't at least know surface level of the stories of the mobile games too.

you do not have to play them yourself. they do not have to be your favourite games in the series. if you are reading this and you hate them, you can stay not liking them even for all i care.

but you have to accept that they are important to the plot of the series. that they can not simply be ignored if you want to grasp the entire story of kingdom hearts.

Riku is a Disney Princess and here's why...

Riku displays Princess features

He's just so Princess. And I've been thinking why is he so princess what is it that makes him like this

So I turned to the official Disney princesses and the comparison is something else.

Kingdom Hearts itself does this all the time with how Riku or Sora acts and gives phenomenal parallels through the categories

One of the mainly criterias are animal Sidekicks, but wait Riku doesn't have one does he?

Guess again.

He in fact does, and so does Sora.

Let's take a look at Dream Drop Distance— a game where Riku displays affection and is accompanied by these silly little guys known as Dream Eaters and his main one is Komory Bat.

The novels add some great details and scenes where they show affection to Riku. They help him fight as well as rub against him.

How could you not find them so adorable and want one?

Royal Bloodline

The next thing is royalty and just note I'm using only knowledge we definitely know or implied, sorry no bloodline theories. In the criteria most princesses are princesses from having a royal bloodline or displaying some act of heroism.

And throughout the series we see these qualities of heroism.

Starting out in darkness, he redeems himself by displaying heroic qualities as any 15 yo in fiction.

In the second game, Riku helps defeat Xemnas, the ultimate bad of the group they were trying to defeat.

After KH1, he deeply regrets his actions and sacrifices himself multiple times, such as pushing Sora out of the way during the final Xemnas battle. Instead of Sora getting hit, he does himself. In DDD, he then displays skills to accept himself and who he is while also rescuing Sora from darkness.

He even states, "...Are you what's trapping him in that nightmare? Cause if you are... I'm what nightmares fear!"

P.S. the JPN translation of the scene is: If you're a nightmare, I'll eat/devore you

And in KH3 not only does he comfort Sora when he feels down, but he sacrifices his own life for Sora's in the keyblade graveyard

Central Character

Riku is one of the main characters, he is the second important character— the first being Sora. Riku actually is in more games than Sora. In 358/2 Days, Sora is not in the game. He is only shown through flashbacks, but Riku he is there. He interacts with Xion and Roxas. Then in DDD the game centers around him more than it really does Sora.

But even in the other games he is still important. Without him, all of the games would be different. No character could take his place.

If Riku simply didn't exist, there would be no one trying to bring destiny islands to darkness. Terra and Aqua wouldn't have gone to Destiny Islands since they came there following Riku's light.

Kairi also would never have gone there because there is no keyblade wielder there. Sora would probably make friends with the other Islanders and he wouldn't have gone on an adventure and there would be no one bringing the princesses to Maleficent.

Prince

Not every princess has a prince, but he certainly does. And Sora is certainly his.

Riku even called him a prince before

They would have a mutual relationship of both saving and comforting the other.

They both have a care and understanding. Sora always thinking of his princess and Riku does all he cans for his prince. They rescue the other multiple times, they sacrifice for the other, and the two even fight together

Adventure

Not every princess goes on an adventure, but Riku certainly does. He goes from using darkness to feeling at his lowest point where he has to accept himself and his darkness (and even possible romantic feelings for Sora his prince).

He then spends a year trying to defend his prince and sacrifices his form to help him awaken. Then he becomes a version of himself that is almost like a monster and refuses to let anyone see him like that.

But when Sora does he doesn't care Riku is still his friend, his princess. It doesn't change a thing and Riku is still Riku. And Sora loves who he is

This gives so much fairytale prince and princess vibes.

They both work together and save the day and after being stuck in darkness they're okay cause the two are together. Then a light appears and the adventure seems to be over..

But no, they both take an exam for becoming keyblade masters. Riku goes through it trying to understand himself and how he feels about Sora and his darkness. He becomes a dream eater for his prince,

Who says princesses can't do rescuing too?

In Recoded, Riku gets kidnapped by Maleficent and Pete and Sora his prince goes in search to save him.

His next journey arrives when he goes through the realm of darkness to search for a missing keyblade wielder. And when Riku is against her he calls out Sora's name and Sora, his prince comes to the rescue. Together they help free her from the darkness. Then after Riku sacrifices himself for Sora, Sora saves him by putting his heart back to his body.

And Riku is on his way to find his prince once again at the end of KH3... His adventure is still ongoing...

Fairytale Parallels

There are so many fairytale Parallels in Kingdom Hearts. Riku sacrificing himself with every little things reflecting a Disney princess.

In the beginning Riku wishes to explore other worlds and leave his island. Many of the Disney princesses also expressed this desire.

Ariel—who is basically a scholar, wants to know more as well as go to the human world.

Belle wants to go on an adventure that's more than her simple everyday life.

Rapunzel wants to go outside to see the world but also see floating lanterns.

Anna— who has barely any social interaction, is tired of being shut away from the world and wants to also experience it.

Riku also gets tricked/manipulated by darkness. While the other princess don't become an antagonist for the first game like he does, they do get tricked or manipulated.

Ursula tricks Ariel into signing a contract to make her into a human where Ursula hopes to eventually become the ruler of Atlantica when Triton trades places with her.

The evil queen manipulates Snow White into taking a bite of her apple after feeling bad for her.

Maleficent tricks Aurora into touching the spindle of the spinning wheel, causing her to die.

Mother Gothel manipulates and gaslights Rapunzel through her entire upbringing.

Raya gets tricked by Namaari into showing her the chamber with the magical gem

Anna gets tricked by Hans into thinking he's the one so he could rule her kingdom.

Riku makes sacrifices throughout the series like when he does it for Sora in kh3 or even sacrificing his form when fighting Roxas to wake Sora up. In general he sacrifices himself for Sora, as well does Sora sacrifice himself too and there are also many princesses who also make sacrifices

Mulan, wanting to protect her father, she sacrifices herself when she takes his place in the war.

While he's not technically a Disney prince, Hercules sacrifices himself to make the dive and save Meg. Hercules also gave up his strength for her but she pushed him out of the way of a pillar to then save him as well. This relates how Sora and Riku both constantly sacrifice for the other.

Anna sacrifices herself for Elsa by freezing to death.

Belle sacrifices her freedom to save her father.

Rapunzel was willing to sacrifice her freedom to save Flynn's life.

And there we have it, I'm sure there are many more examples then what I said but Riku is a Disney princess and should definitely be added to the line up.

KHOC WEEK 2024 DAY 7: Future

The last day of @khoc-week is always such a bittersweet day, but we'll be back next year I know. So for now, have a look into C.E.'s not-too-distant future, when things have calmed down a bit, there's less need to worry about protecting the town, and her next big challenge is just facing down growing up.

(Also, I'm rescheduling Seifer, Rai, and Fuu's "Hero's Journey" to be sometimes post-KH3, for plot convenience. Because it's my story and I get to choose the timeline 😜)

C.E. stood on the platform in the central station with a duffle bag by her feet and her phone clutched loosely in one hand as she waited for her train to arrive. She could hardly believe this was happening, she’d never thought she'd find herself leaving this town… It was her home, the only one she’d ever known... She knew every nook, cranny, and back alley, she’d explored every inch of the tunnels in the old underground network. She could find her way anywhere blindfolded if she had to. 

And now she found herself leaving it behind.

She closed her stinging eyes and swallowed against the lump growing in her throat, silently reassuring herself that it was only temporary. She’d be moving back as soon as she finished school, and she’d be back to visit before then. It wouldn’t be that long, she could do this. Taking a deep breath, she tried to steady herself when, suddenly, a familiar voice spoke from behind her.

“Hey.” She blinked and turned to see Seifer standing behind her, a large backpack slung over one shoulder. 

"Hey…" She said quietly in return, not sure what he wanted. He looked her over, eyes landing on the bag next to her.

"...Heading down to the beach?" He asked.

"Sort of… There's a town near it with a really good photography school… Classes start Monday and since the train doesn't run close to campus I'll be staying in the dorms…" She said, twisting a lock of hair around her finger. He frowned.

"So… You're leaving town all together." He stated, and she nodded. Then she gestured at his bag.

"What about you, where are you headed with that big ol' bag?" She asked. He looked at his bag and shrugged.

"Rai, Fuu, and me decided to take a trip. They'll be here soon. Surprised your misfit entourage isn't here to see you off." C.E. frowned at him.

"Luka has a shift and Nao's babysitting, not that it's your business. So all three of you are leaving town too?" Seifer nodded.

"Yeah. Taking the other line down the mountain." He said, gesturing to the other outbound track and C.E. nodded, fidgeting with her phone. An awkward silence fell between them for a long moment. Suddenly Seifer shoved his phone at her, screen open to a fresh contacts entry.

"Gimme your new contact info, maybe I'll write you or something." He said, refusing to look her in the eye. She blinked several times before letting out a hushed chuckle.

"Okay, yeah, sure, but you gotta give me yours too. I don't wanna have to wait on you to make the first move, we'll never talk again." She grinned, handing her own phone over. He huffed a laugh and rolled his eyes as he took the device. 

"Yeah, fine, whatever. Just hurry up, I don't have all day."

"Yeah, yeah, keep your pants on." She snorted, plugging her information into his phone. They traded back just as Rai and Fuu walked up.

"Yo! Our train's at the next platform man!" Rai called and Seifer rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I know, just gimme a sec!" he called back, waving him off. Rai grumbled but followed Fuu to their platform. C.E. chuckled.

"You should go, you've got a train to catch." She said. He turned his attention back to her, seemingly mulling something over.

"Yeah, there's just one thing I need to do first." He said and she raised a brow.

"And what's that?"

"This." He smirked and hooked a hand behind her neck. Before she could ask any more questions his lips crashed against hers, catching her in a bruising kiss. Her eyes widened for a moment before her knees went weak and they slid closed as she whimpered softly. His other arm slipped around her waist, pulling her close as one of her hands tangled in his coat. The kiss felt like it lasted forever, and yet it still wasn't long enough before he pulled back. He chuckled at her dazed expression and made sure she'd be steady on her feet before letting her go.

"There you go, a little something to remember me by, until you see me again. See ya later, dorkface." He grinned and strolled off towards where Rai and Fuu were waiting. C.E. shook off her shock and squeaked indignantly.

"H-Hey! Wait! What was that about!? Seifer? SEIFER!" She yelled after him but only got a loud laugh and a wave in return. She wanted to chase after him but had to stop herself as an announcement saying her train would be arriving momentarily crackled over the station's old intercom system. She scowled and yelled after him.

"Don't think this is over! You'll have to answer me eventually!"

Later, when she went to sit down in her seat on the train, she found his beanie hanging out of her back pocket.

Yo thanks for getting me hip to the Riku is the Light theory. I’ve been replaying the series and it’s kinda wild how often we see that symbolism with Riku, especially with the placement of the sun. One I just came across was in KH3 right after KH was summoned and all the guardians of light are chatting, when it pans to Riku the sun is shining on him and only him. Funny enough, that scene was updated because it used to be grey and drippy.

Yeah it’s really amazing just how much the imagery comes up with Riku since the very beginning of the series. Literally the very first time we see him on screen Sora gets blinded by the “sun” but then it’s just Riku there.

Is this the moment you are talking about? The sun rays here really do give him an angelic aura huh

Azul is next! Here’s hoping Azul will be A LOT easier to figure out the colors for. Cause oh boy, the off white in the color palette is INTIMIDATING!

Anyways, some info for Leona’s summon!

I imagine when he is summoned, he’ll appear in a sand storm before making himself known to the player. His main attacks are slashes, and a roar very similar to KH3’s Simba’s roar attack. Only with sand. Either way, Leona’s slashes will allow him yo make contact with the enemy. His finishing move, which much like Riddle’s summon, will be his Signature Spell. Lion’s Roar will ANNIHILATE any enemies he managed to make contact with. It’s crazy overpowered on regular enemies, but will only do 2-4 health bars worth of damage to boss enemies. Still a lot of damage, but it will not one shot any bosses like it would with regular enemies.

*Realm of Darkness*

Yozora stirred awake,his whole body aching and mind spinning. His heterochromia blue and red eyes rolled underneath his eyelids before he fluttered them open to a black sky. It was oddly peaceful and quiet,the sound of waves close by.

With a soft grunt, he pushed himself into a hunched over sitting position,strands of his silver hair bangs coming in his view to which he brushed aside easily. He looked around,still unfamiliar with his surroundings and slowly got up his feet. Wind blew softly,brushing his skin. He sighed deeply and padded over to the rock stuck near the lake,his mind wondering as to where he was and why.

He took a seat on the rock and outstretched his hand trying to summon his weapon but nothing happened. He withdrew his hand in confusion and looked at it with a frown on his lips.

A strange presence appeared behind him and he quickly turned to a girl who took a step back from his quick action,(eye color) eyes staring at him in alarm.

“You can see me? Who are you? Why are you here?” She asked getting into a fighting stance. Yozora quickly got off the stone and stood before her with hands raised up to show he meant no harm at all.

“Yes I can see you. My name is Yozora and I don’t... I don’t really know how I got here..” he answered and set his arms to his sides, she slowly straightened and glared at him curiously before sighing.

“I really don’t know if I can believe you” she said softly. “What if you are part of the organization 13?”

“Organization what?”he asked completely confused which caught the female off guard. He really didn’t know who organization 13 was but judging from how she said it, they must be bad guys. (Your name) blinked slowly and folded her arms over her chest, a long look on her face as her mind searched for possible answers.

Yozora cleared his thought snapping her out of her thoughts,she looked at him with wide eyes.

“I didn’t catch your name”he said, (y/n) shrugged her shoulders with a small playful smile.

“I didn’t throw it”she replied making his lips twitch slightly into a smile which he quickly hid.

“Well I told you mine,wouldn’t it be a little nice to know yours?” He asked, she tucked a loose strand of (hair color) behind her ear and sighed.

“(Y/n)” she told him,he hummed and nodded.

“Nice to meet you (y/n)” he said and she nodded in acknowledgment. “May I ask how you got here?”

(Y/n) frowned and padded over to him, Yozora kept his eyes on her.

“Darkness took over me, I lost my way and I’m now here,alone and unable to leave,” she said and snapped her fingers. Transparent shackles wrapped around her wrists and ankles illuminated in the moonlight. “I lost my keyblade. “

Yozora stared at her,feeling a little remorse for her. (Y/n) walked past him and sat on the huge rock near the lake,light from the moon shining on its surface. The silver haired male turned and made his way over to the other side of the rock to sit next to (y/n).

“How long have you been here?”he asked. The female shrugged her shoulders,her eyes fixed on the lake before them.

“I lost count”she mumbled,he stared at her for a bit before staring ahead. “You can’t stay here for long,you know..”

“Why not?” He asked surprising himself,maybe he really didn’t want to leave (y/n) all alone in the darkness.

“You didn’t lose to the darkness like I did,I don’t know how you got here but if you stay any longer. They’ll find your and try to get rid of you or make you their vessel”

“Who is ‘they’ ?” He questioned. The female looked at him,their eyes meeting. Red-blue eyes making eye contact with (e/c) eyes. (Y/n) felt her heartbeat quicken a little.

‘Weird’ she thought

“The organization” she said and returned her gaze to the lake. “They roam around here a lot but recently it’s been quiet” she frowned. “I hope they are alright”

“I assume you are talking about your friends”he said and she nodded.

“One of my best friends promised that he will come save me” she said with a small smile before it faded into a straight line. Her eyes covered with an unknown emotion. “I’m losing hope on that”

Yozora pursed his lips before moving his gaze to the lake. They sat in silence and it wasn’t awkward at all. Mostly comforting to (y/n) because she hasn’t had company in a very long time. Once in a while, she would glance at him and play with her fingers.

“I like your eyes”she blurted out before covering her mouth shyly. Yozora looked at her in amusement and smiled a little.

“Thank you. I think yours are really pretty” he complimented, (y/n) felt heat rise up her neck. She let out a stuttered thank you and avoided eye contact with him at all.

Several hours went by, Yozora and (y/n) had decided to walk around,hopeful enough to find an opening for the silver haired male to leave the realm of darkness before it’s too late.

“I’m starting to think I won’t be able to leave this place,”he said a little discouraged. To think of it, the thought of leaving (y/n) saddened him. He may have met her a couple hours ago but during those hours, he got to know her a little better so leaving her didn’t make him feel good at all.

“There must one somewhere”she mumbled, she tried summoning her keyblade only to get a glimpse of light before it faded. She cussed under her breath and sighed.

Yozora stood a few feet from her, watching her lose her cool a little bit. He outstretched his hand and immediately his weapons were summoned. He was actually relieved they were still with him. He couldn’t summon any of them a couple of hours ago. (Y/n) stared longingly at his weapons before they disappeared by his command, her fingers twitched before she clenched her hands to fists.

“We should keep searching” she prompted, turning her back on him. Her face slowly changing into a sad expression.

Another couple hours passed,they had returned to the rock and sat in silence. Yozora stared at the lake before something flickered from the bay.

(Y/n) hadn’t noticed the flickering until she saw Yozora get up from the rock.

‘Sorry it took so long,I opened the portal for you to leave. You don’t have much time’ a soft voice spoke into Yozora’s mind.

Immediately a long line shot up from the light that was flickering and spread open to reveal a white portal.

“Yozora!” (Y/n) called after in alertness,scrambling off the rock and jogged over to him. He turned to her with wide eyes.

Black spirit mists started to roam around and come alive into heartless/Universd. The wind around them started to pick up, (y/n) shook in fear.

“Hey it’s okay”he reassured,setting his hands on her arms. Their callousness sending chills down her spine. “Nothing’s gonna hurt you,I swear”

‘Yozora,you have to leave now!’

‘I can’t just leave her’ he yelled in his mind.

(Y/n) stared at the male before him,her eyes were wide with fear. Fear of losing someone again, fear of being left alone, fear of not being able to see her friends and family again.

The darkness around them grew stronger, it made her feel nauseous. With a heavy heart, she spoke to him.

“You need to leave”

Yozora looked at her with wide eyed before frowning deeply.

“But I can’t leave you here alone”he contradicted,she shook her head. Her hands grasping onto his arms,clenching onto them softly.

“It’s alright,Yozora” she reassured, the tears that formed in her eyes visible to him. “I can’t leave yet, not without him. My best friend is a keyblade wielder who can save me,I just have to wait”

Yozora shook his head and grabbed her hand. Before she could process what was going on, the male tagged her along with him as he ran to the portal.

“Yozora!”she called after him,struggling against his grip. “Yozora please listen to me! I’m bound to darkness and I can’t escape! I wish I could but I can’t! “

He ignored what she was saying, the voice mumbling in his head helping in blocking her out. Just when they were close to the portal, (y/n) was yanked out of his grasp causing him to stumble and turn quickly.

(Y/n) gasped loudly and landed roughly on her butt. A clear barrier shimmered at contact before fading. The shackles on (y/n) showed for a split second then vanished. The silver haired male stood in disbelief,gritting his teeth in annoyance and sadness. (Y/n) got up to her feet and padded over to stand before the male, a broken look on her face. The familiarity of darkness sending shivers down her spine.

“Yozora please-“she mumbled. The male stared at her before looking down at the ground.

“There has be a way for me to save you, I don’t want to leave you here all alone and afraid”he spoke before looking back at her, her glossy eyes watched him with a frown on her lips.

“I’ll be okay, just got before the portal closes”she reassured,her voice cracking up a little. His eyes met hers,the amount of hurt, fear and sadness that swirled in them made his stomach churn in dismay. He looked at his hand and quickly took off his bracelet, a beautifully sapphire gemstone embedded bracelet.

“Here”he said handing it to her through the barrier,she softly got the bracelet and looked at him confused. “Keep it until we meet again. The next time we meet will be when I come to save you so keep it safely”

(Y/n)’s eyes glossed over again and she nodded with a sad smile.

“Okay, I trust you”

Yozora breathed out slowly before giving (y/n) one last look.

“I’ll be back for you,I’ll promise”

(Y/n) watched as Yozora turned his back on her and jogged over to the portal,he turned a little to look at her for one last time before disappearing into the brightness. The portal instantly shattered into white crystals.

(Y/n) clutched the bracelet to her chest, falling to her knees. Her hands trembling as her bottom lip quivered. His warmth immediately leaving her,only the bracelet was a remembrance of his presence.

“Yozora...I’ll be waiting for you”

little mermaid spam bc, DDD’s first scene with sora and riku, the first gameplay section, was sora and riku caught in a storm at sea, fighting giant ass ursula.

it’s the big fight in the little mermaid movie. yeah obv bUT—this is just wishful thinking bUt—what if it was a ,,,, hint.??? foreshadowing????

like CoM worlds HELLA foreshadowed kh2. and while ddd didn’t necessarily foreshadow kh3 (there are actually SO MANY ddd elements in kh3 don’t get me wrong), kh3 wasn’t necessarily as focused on sora and riku as ddd. it wasn’t a soriku-centric game, not at face value. (it’s so hard to type that knowing soriku is literally everywhere lol)

bUt. if i can manage to get to the point, the point is that maybe ddd was foreshadowing (or at least leading up to) the next soriku game.

and DDD started with sora and riku literally reenacting the climax of The Little Mermaid.

…..what if the next game started with/has another little mermaid parallel..???? (cause sora maybe forgot riku and eric couldn’t recognize ariel???) just saying 👀👀👀👀

Recently I noticed that A Fight to the Death (KH 2.5, Xemnas' boss fight) and Gummiship Battle (KH 3) have the same notes and chords, at least in terms of structure of the ost.

Now I can't stop imagining a lot of chibi Xemnas that shoot lasers at you while you're in the Gummiship

Since it’s revealed that for Fighter Pass 2, there’ll be 6 more DLC characters for SSBU, there’s no telling who they’ll add into the game. But I decided to make my own list of characters that I’d hope to get in.

At the bottom of my list is Laharl. I mainly put him here as I needed a 6th character to fill this out, but I’d also like to see the Disgaea series come back. After watching the anime and going through the first couple of games, Laharl is my favorite character and I’d love to see him in Smash.

5th place is Magnus. I adore the KI:U game to death and I’d love to see Magnus become a fighter. I know that some people want Medusa as Palutena’s echo, but I kinda want Magnus more. Plus his assist trophy was removed from Ultimate so he might have a higher chance.

4th place is Jibanyan. Just like KI:U, I love the Yo-kai Watch games. It honestly needs more recognition and for people to stop calling it a Pokemon rip-off. What better chance than for him for join Smash?

With Zero as an assist trophy and X as a mii costume, Axl would make a pretty good fighter. I’ve personally never played MMX7 but I genuinely like Axl’s character and design. Plus we need all the Megaman rep we can get.

Surprise, surprise. Pretty much everyone wants our baby boy in Smash, me included. With Re:Mind coming out in a few days, I feel like Sora’s chances of getting into Smash might get higher. I’ve honestly never really cared for Sora getting in, but after revisiting the series, I really want him in Smash.

Anyone who’s friends with me should know that Rayman has been my number one pick for joining Smash ever since SSB4 came out. I grew up with this series so my want for him in is incredibly high (plus with the Rabbids mii costume hat, Ubisoft could add him in if wanted. I know he’s in Brawlhalla but that’s an Ubisoft fighting game). He really needs a comeback, he hasn’t had a main-series game since 2013. GIVE IT TO HIM.
