DISCLAIMER

This is not a spoiler-free blog, obviously. There will be spoilers of the most recent seasons of most shows, with the exceptions of Fairy Tail and Sword Art Online, which I am still trying to catch up on. There will also be spoilers for plots of the Mystic Messenger routes. You have been warned!

RULES FOR REQUESTING

Please, for the love of god, be polite when you request. We're all human here (at least, I think so...) Let's act like it!

When requesting, please include the fandom and character(s) in your ask. I write for a lot of fandoms, so this will make it easier for everyone!

Please limit your request to one character at a time for all request types, with the exception of headcanons. For those, I will accept up to two characters. Any request that exceeds these numbers will be denied.

Also include the type of request you're asking for, basically any of the choices listed above.

Read the "Things I Will Not Write" section found underneath this paragraph. Do NOT request anything with those characteristics.

My writing defaults to the female gender, but I can write for anyone! If you prefer another gender, please include that as well in your request! Otherwise, my default will be she/her.

Anon asks are totally okay! (Anon hate is not, but I think we all know that by now.) If you submit an ask while logged in and don't want your username shared, please let me know ahead of time. Otherwise, I'll just assume it's okay to share it!

I also only do requests for the characters we've met in the anime. I'd love to spend my days scarfing down as much manga as I possibly can, but alas my day-job requires me to pretty much non-stop reading. Which means when the weekends roll around, the last thing I want to do is more reading. (Somehow my mind categorizes writing as something entirely different. Weird...lol)

THINGS I WILL NOT WRITE

Triggering requests, such as self harm, suicide, rape, etc. If you're not sure if your request applies to the guidelines, don't hesitate to ask! I promise the worst that will happen is I might possibly politely decline :)

NSFW, non-consensual, dub-con, yandere, or anything of that nature. I will do mild suggestive content or heated physical content, but no shmexy shtuff. Again, if you're not sure, just ask!

Pedophilia, incest, or abuse. If you request anything of this nature, you will be blocked immediately.

Character bashing, no matter the character.

Cross-overs, character ships, or match-ups. I only write character x reader, so please don’t request character x character.

Anything with specific MCs from Mystic Messenger. I will not write for them specifically because they are supposed to represent us and writing for MC3 (the redheaded MC, for example) might prevent everyone else who is not a redhead from enjoying that piece.

I also reserve the right to turn down a request based on my lack of knowledge of the character. Characters like Rika/Vanderwood from Mystic Messenger or minor, one-episode characters from other fandoms are good examples. I'll definitely try to fulfill any request I get, but some characters I'm just not familiar with. I won't insult your love for that character by bullshitting my way through a request.

REQUEST RATES

I generally post a couple times a week, but that can change because I'm still trying to figure out my posting schedule. Keep in mind that I have a full-time job that's only getting busier. I do requests in order of having received them. This can mean you might have to wait a little while for your ask to get answered, but I promise I will get to it! I'll never leave an ask unanswered, not intentionally at least.

However, a disclaimer: By day, I am a legal assistant at a fairly large firm and am currently involved in preparation for a very large trial. My days are getting longer and more tiring, and both my time and energy are being consumed by the law firm. I love it and wouldn't trade it for any other job...but sometimes that means I won't have as much time to write.

Ergo, until the end of the year, there might be weeks when you see nothing from me. That means I'm either tied up at work or, honestly, just too exhausted to put out anything of quality. But never fear! I will be back and will never just ignore an ask. I'll try to post an update when I know ahead of time, but most of this stuff happens last minute. I reserve the right to close requests at any time and will halt posting due to scheduling issues. I hope you can understand!

Uhhh, Jumin does have traumatic nightmares, he wakes up from one on his route very agitated (and being his father's girlfriends the trigger we can assume this happens very often) he will probably forget about it as soon as he can because that's how his mind works, but seeing his S/O go through the same probably will make him give them the comfort he needs for himself... Loving the rest of your stuff though 😅 (I hope you don't find this insulting, I just love read and talk about Juju;;;;)

I wasn’t going to respond to this, but I thought about it for a bit, and I realized I wanted to share a few of my thoughts :)

Listen, here’s the thing. I have not played the entirety of Jumin’s route yet. In fact, when I wrote that group of headcanons from a request, I had not even started his route. As of right now, I’m only on Day 2 of the general route before you get to pick either Seven or Jumin. So, obviously, I’m not going to know every single detail about Jumin or his route. I tried my best to fulfill the ask I was sent, despite not having played our lovely JuJu’s route yet.

I haven’t tried to hide this fact. Actually, you can see the disclaimer I made in my Guidelines for Submissions. And I quote:

So, obviously, this was not meant to fool anyone. As you can see in my Guidelines, I made it very clear who’s routes I have and have not finished.

And another thing: I do try to be as specific with canon as I possibly can, but you have to remember that everything--I repeat, everything--I post is headcanon. It is not in canon of MysMe. It is not fact. It has not been published by Cheritz. You must remember that everything we write here on Tumblr is inspired by these characters that we love so much, but it is not law. Everything I write is for fun, for me and the readers. I’m not trying to fool anyone into thinking that my works are worthy of canon. To me, this is just a fun hobby.

If I mess up something that creates a headcanon that’s inconsistent with canon fact, or leave something out--while obviously not intentional--it’s not the end of the world. Or even if I have done their route, the world will keep spinning if I forget a minuscule detail. It was not my intent to paint Jumin in a light not consistent with canon, but honestly? I think that piece turned out just fine anyway.

Totally not insulted, btw! And not mad or anything. Just wanted to clear this up because there’s this overwhelming pressure, especially as a fanfic writer, to maintain canon at all costs. There’s sooo much pressure to make everything perfect, so much so that it can even halt your creativity or prevent you from posting right away due to the dread of canon crusaders. I really liked the way those headcanons turned out, so having someone point out the one, tiny thing that’s not canonically correct--while you are probably right and I’m sure didn’t mean anything nefarious by it--is a little irritating.

A Reminder Regarding Requests

Hey lovelies!

Just wanted to remind you guys that I only take requests for one character at a time (unless it’s for headcanons, in which case I accept two characters.) Please limit your request to one/two at a time! I’ve gotten a couple requests that have asked for the entire RFA. Just wanted to hop on here and remind you guys that my requests have character limits.

I am aware that I reposted a list of prompts which had “RFA + number” in the name of each prompt. It’s not crazy for you guys to assume that I would be writing for the entire RFA for those asks, so that one’s not your fault. That’s on me. I’ll continue to accept those requests and write for the entire RFA, but from now on, please just ask for one/two characters at a time! I really love getting into detail with my headcanons and imagines, and it’s sooo hard to do that when I have to write for five people. It really holds up my Askbox, and honestly, you probably only wanted to read about one or two of your favorites anyways :)

Not a big deal! Just a little reminder :) Be sure to read my Guidelines (linked in my bio) before requesting. Everything I’ve said here has been there since I started this blog, so these rules aren’t new.

I apologize for not getting a response to you sooner, but I only do character x reader requests. I don’t do headcanons, or anything else, for a non-specific character x reader. In other words, if you want me to complete your request, I’d ask you to resubmit with the appropriate requirements. For headcanons, I accept one or two characters at a time (e.g. Mako and Korra x “tsundere fire bender girlfriend” or just Bolin x reader, something like that.) In other words, you have to name a character from ATLA or LOK.

If requests are open, can I request the RFA reacting to a MC who can do the tinikling dance, like, super duper amazingly? Search up the dance on YouTube if you don't know, but basically it's where someone dances in between fast moving bamboo sticks.

Yes, the askbox is open (despite the slow updates due to my work schedule lol), but I have character limits for requests. Everything but headcanons has a ONE character limit. Headcanons have a TWO character limit. All the rules are in the Guidelines for Submissions, which are linked in my bio. Please refer to that before submitting.

Important Account Update (New URL & Updated Fandoms)

Hey everyone!!

As I mentioned previously, my blog is going through some changes. I’ve taken the month of February to contemplate where I wanted this account to go, what I wanted to write for, and when/how I wanted to make those changes.

After a lot of planning and thinking, please see the changes below, including to fandoms, request/ask categories, posting format, and a new URL. Additions are marked with (New). I’m actually super excited about the alterations, and I hope you will be too!

Everything else is going to be dropped after April 1st. 

If you have a submission you want to submit for any of the fandoms on the old list, please do so before April 1st. The Masterlists for each of the retired fandoms will still be up, as will everything I have written for them thus far. Nothing will be taken down, I just won't be accepting asks for the remaining groups in the future. 

This is a personal decision, focused primarily on 1. wanting to tighten up the fandoms I write for, and 2. no longer having the drive or motivation to write for them. A new Masterlist for BTS will be up soon, as will an updated “Guidelines” post. The old one will be deleted, as it will soon be outdated.

As of today, March 1st, the Askbox is open for requests! All requests will be taken from now until April 1st. Then the Askbox will close permanently to the following fandoms:

I will also be answering your asks slightly differently. Instead of just posting the fic to your ask and answering it like that, I'm going to post the fic in its own note and link you to it in my answer. This way I can make the fics I write a little more aesthetically pleasing with pictures, fun fonts, fancy titles, and other stuff that I wouldn't be able to include otherwise.

Also--just for BTS headcanon/reaction/most to least requests, I will be accepting either two members or one of the Lines. If you submit a request for either the Maknae or Hyung Lines, I will write for more than two members. Maknae includes Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook; Hyung includes Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok, and Namjoon. Scenarios and other lengthier requests will still be kept to one member each.

As for the new blog title, my URL will no longer be kyojin-madi. I feel like I’ve outgrown that name, and while I still adore it, I think that since my blog is shifting more towards BTS and less on anime/games, I wanted to top off all these changes with a new name. From now on, this blog will be called bangtan-madi. If you’re BTS army, then you know what bangtan means. If you don’t, bangtan is Korean for “bulletproof.”

The blog is open to feedback and recommendations as well! Happy to hear what you all think. I’m really excited about this new chapter, and I have a good feeling about the new direction!

Introduction

Hi! I’m Madi, a redheaded, twenty-one year-old otaku born and raised in the great Commonweath of Virginia, currently living in the (less than great) State of South Carolina! I've gone by a lot of usernames over the years, especially on WattPad where I used to write for Marvel (a lot...) Now, I go by kyojin-madi! Nice to meet you!

By day, I'm a legal assistant at a fairly large law firm in the Charleston area. By night, I write both here and my own original projects!

I write head-canons, short fics, scenarios, reactions, and various types of prompts for a bunch of different anime fandoms and Mystic Messenger. I'm kind of obsessed with Armin Arlert and Levi Ackerman, but hey, who isn't lol?
