We're not appreciating the Weird Barbie enough. It's said in the movie that she helps everyone who need help while they always see her as someone who's not as good as them. She was friends with all dismissed Barbies and Kens, was there to offer support and safe shelter for everyone who needed it in Kendom, without her nothing in the movie would've been alright. When Stereotypical Barbie calls her "ugly and unwanted" she still helps her.
She was representing a woman in women's world who was pushed aside by other women because she didn't fit in but still had more wisdom and kindness than everyone who thought they're better than her.

“you don’t like the proliferation of terms like Unalive outside of TikTok because you realize that you’re aging out of youth culture and it makes you uncomfortable!”
no I don’t like it because there’s something INCREDIBLY dystopian about being forced to soften terms for basic parts of the human experience like death and sex (and even more so terms for oppressed minorities- call me a “le-dollar sign-bian” and I will bite you) purely because advertisers and corporations demand it

>looking into the official English release of Japanese media
>fandom says the translation is horrible
>ask them if the translation is actually bad or if it was just localized
>they don't understand
>pull out illustrated diagram showing what is a bad translation and what is localization
>they laugh and say 'it's a bad translation'
>check it out anyway
>it's localized

Can’t stop thinking about how all of S2, Aziraphale is throwing himself at Crowley physically (the hand on his chest in the bar, the dance, the hand on his shoulder when Gabe and Beez say being together is more important than sides) waiting for Crowley to make the next move, while Crowley is throwing himself at Aziraphale emotionally (trying to make the humans fall in love by engineering a rainstorm, letting Aziraphale drive his car, recommending Alpha Centauri as a place for Gabe and Beez to go). And how in the final 15, they finally get closer to giving the other what they have been asking for all season, but it’s twisted and miscommunicated: “come with me” Aziraphale says and all Crowley hears is “to heaven”; “I need you” Aziraphale says, and all Crowley hears is “to change for me”; Crowley grabs Aziraphale and kisses him the way Aziraphale has wanted all season and Aziraphale, thinking it’s a temptation away from Heaven, forgives him instead of kissing him back.

I wish I could write fics so I could write a vague jontim au where Tim regularly quips back to Jon in mandarin because he gets a rise over the fact that Jon doesn't understand it, and he peppers in various terms of endearment (often sarcastic, but sometimes he says it just because he wants to. It feels right. Minor indulgences) it's season 3 and he's still mad at Jon, and he's still so very angry at everything, and he still wants to die, but the habit carries. And he insults Jon to his face, curses him, throws barbed words his eau. But he also says that he misses him. I love you. I miss you. except at some point in season 3 Jon is able to understand languages. And Tim doesn't realize this, and Jon doesn't realize this, and he's just Thoroughly confused why Tim keeps switching up his attitude towards him

My Baudelaire presentation + essay are finally submitted! I’m basically done with this evening diploma in French and honestly… it’s a relief. Consistency really pays off, even when the end doesn’t seem in sight ⭐️
