Soooo uhhhh this is an Wreck It Ralph AU of mine that is also a self inserbut uh if u don't like that then uhhhhhh. Sorry.

ANYWAY! I'm bad at explaining things so just bear with me here! *Freddy Faz bear noises 🐻*

Oke oke- Sooo basically this AU is about this Girl "Annabelle" (my self insert teehee) who had gotten trapped in the Sugar Rush game somehow just by messing with the game cabinet while the Arcade was closed (spooky black magic shit ik). But later she finds some weird red glitchy blob by Cola mountain, she messes with it for a bit and then HOLY SHIT IT'S TURBO??? WHAT???!!! NO WAY! But Turbo is in his virtual form (like a ghost form of some kind, idk just keep listening to me yap) instead of his physical form (and oh boy is his physical form way more fucked up than his virtual form). Time goes by and Annabelle is Ruling Sugar Rush (yeah ik that doesn't make sense but just wait till I get to the lore part and as to why oke? oke-). So yeah she has been made to rule a literal sugar kingdom while she also has to be a playable character to NOT look sus to other game characters watching. (ofc this did not work cuz erm- what the sigma??? new girl??? where Vanellope???????)

LORE

OK! now for the lore and as to WHY??? AND HOW???

Sooo, Annabelle had move into town and then found out there was a cool arcade nearby where she was now living. Ofc that being Litwack's Arcade :3. For a little while she had been a daily visitor to the arcade and ofc Sugar Rush was her #1 favorite arcade game and played it EVERY DAY. She would play other games too ofc (Fix It Felix Jr would be her last resort game when all the other games in the arcade were Occupied).

Now as for Annabelle's personality? She is pretty nice and very fun to be around if you like her at first sight. She has a bit of an ego though, It pretty much started developing when she would win all the time in that Sugar Rush game. She had ALWAYS been the #1 person on that sugar rush leader board (I actually don't know if there even is a leader board in the game but NOW IT DOES >:]). Unfortunately that would change when a couple of assholes would come in and mentally put her down saying shit like uhhh "lol, ur so bad", "I could bet you in a race like that" (they're jealous lol). Ofc this gets on Annabelle's nerves and this makes her think she has competition (and she did) AND her way to cope and talk back at them with bs like this was to STROKE HER EGO (oh honey noooo D,:). Ofc this eventually gets to her when she starts fumbling in the game and is starts losing with every chance she gets (yes getting 2sd place means losing to her, sounds familiarrrrrrr ◉_◉). She has been losing her place on the leaderboard and eventually the Assholes find out and then they quite literally take a mental tole on her (ya wanna know what's really funny??? These assholes are literal teenage kids... Annabelle is literally fucking 20 like- HONEY THEY'RE KIDS STOP WORRYING 😭😭😭).

One night Annabelle hits a breaking point and NEEDS to be back on that #1 spot on the leader board BY. ANY. MEANS. NECISSARY.

Phhhfffttt- Oh nonono- she is NOT losing to a couple of kids that have been bulling her for the past couple of days! Hell NO! So what does she do???? Break into the Arcade overnight!!!! WhAt CoUlD pOsSiBlY gO wRoNg??? *screaminggggg and cryinngggg*

So Annabelle breaks in the Arcade, UNFORTUANTELY She had forgotten her quarters back at home. Sooooo she goes back home and doesn't bother✨ JK SHE DECIDES TO BREAK INTO THE GAME CABNET TO STEAL QUARTERS 💀 (mind u that Annabelle is UNAWARE that these game characters are sentient, so even if she did have her change on her and put them in... they would NOT be there) Annabelle rummages around and is suddenly hit with some powerful shock and blacks out (Nice one girl 😒). Annabelle wakes up and HOLY SHIT- WHAT THE FUCK??? SHE'S IN SUGAR RUSH???? WHAT THE HELLLLL?????? (ofc this whole time she thinks she's dreamingggg but the scary reality finally hits her eventually 😁😁😁) Annabelle Finds out about Game Central Station and oh my god it looks to scary for her- nope, She's staying inside Sugar Rush. And heaven forbid if one of them finds out she's human in the game world, they could probably kill her *🥲*. I almost forgot to mention that her physical appearance slowly starts to change the longer she's in the game world. Her skin starts to look paler and slightly grey; her eyes are tinted yellow and her eyerises are turning a darker shade of blue. And this is due to the exposure to the atmosphere of the game world. So it looks like she's dying but she's not. :,]

Anyway about this Red g̵̋͜l̸̯̾i̶̱̍t̶̩͒c̴̪̀h̸͖́ÿ̶̦ blob she found beside Cola Mountain~

After a while of her walking around and Exploring Sugar Rush (and to find a safe place to stay *sobs*) She sees a red glint in the corner of her eyes by the mountain and ofc goes to check it out (naauuurrrrrrr!!!!), She finds it, picks it up, messes with it for a minute and she's suddenly hit with a painful red shock that literally makes her fall to the ground. And with some spoooky electronic glitchy magic bs going on in front of her this blob takes in the form of... guys... You'll NEVER guess who it is!... It's Turbo! what a goddamn surprise! I bet u never guessed right hehehehehehe >:] jk (I just realized how long this is getting. I'm sorry to all my ADHD people 😭😭😭)

I'll try to explain this part really quick :,)

Turbo meets Annabelle in his Virtual form, Annabelle os freaked out about this shit cuz holy fuck what is that creepy ass glitchy tall shadow creature???? (yes his virtual form made him tall 🤭) So after some back and fourth talking and them introducing themselves and Turbo going on about his pathetic sob story as they why he's like this and all that bs talk, Annabelle asks if he could be able to take her home because of his coding abilities and all that stuff. He says he will BUT, in order to help her get "home" SHE has to do something for him first in order for that to happen. He NEEDS everything back that was all taken away from HIM and he need her help to get it all back just by Reincoding him back to his physical from (unfortunately for Turbo, his powers and abilities are limited when he's in his virtual form.). Annabelle agrees. (spoiler alert: There is actually no way she can get home, she's stuck in the game world forever. 🥲)

Now how this will happen is:

• Get inside the castle and enter the code room, Find Sour Bill and hold him at knife (ik, very dramatic and over the top but somethings gotta work) point. He will help her get into the code room with a rope to tie around her in order to stay safe and not float away in the black abyss of the code room (ofc he tells her the Nintendo code)

• He will be with her when this happens, Annabelle will need to destroy Vanellope's code and keep it away from all the other codes just like he did when he Ruled Sugar Rush. This will ensure that Vanellope will forget EVERYTHING (this means her memories about Ralph and everyone else she has befriended and her memories she has held dear)

• Turbo will teach her how to code a new character sprite for herself and put EVERYTHING in it that will make her Rightful Ruler. Annabelle gives herself the Name "Queen Sweetheart" Omori Reference???? (Turbo designed a dress for her, She found it pretty sus on how low the bust area is but whatever, she has other clothing designs for herself. Whatever works)

• Alright Vanellope is out of the way and now considered a threat once again and no one has NO memory of Vanellope and Annabelle is officially rightful ruler of Sugar Rush

• She will announce that there will be a big Racing event in THREE DAYS (ofc the whole part with the coins from the first movie is brought back to ensure that Vanellope CANNOT enter the race again.

• When that day comes Turbo will virtually go into Annabelle's body (It's painful) and then she will go racing with him virtually inside her.(Please don't get the wrong idea I couldn't think of any other way to say it 😭😭😭) She HAS TO WIN. If she doesn't then he will find her completely useless and not help her get back home. *😐*

When Annabelle wins that race Turbo is finally back to his physical form and 100% fully alive and will take everything back that has been taken from him. (sure Turbo, sure 😒)

Ofc there will be people getting in the way of Their plans cuz people want to know why there's suddenly a new character and "WHAT THE FUCK DID U DO TO VANELLOPE???" -Ralph probably 🤭

With the help of some people Vanellope eventually starts to regain memory. "How will Vanellope get into that Race? she has no medal!" Well Felix was nice enough to give him one of his to use, he was hesitant *raises eyebrow* but he had to do it for the sake of Vanellope.

I was gonna type in more but I think that would be spoiling some stuff so uh yeahhhh. I'll stope here for now! uhhhh Thanks for readingggg. (If u even read this far into my AU Lore and stuff 😇)

Dragons Rising Season 2 part 2 teaser breakdown

my thoughts and feelings regarding the DR s2 part 2 trailer. I have not watched any external analysis. this is pure unfiltered me

So we start off strong with Beatrix punching someone or something. Given the red landscape, I'm thinking it's Lloyd in his vision. So that's great. Very interesting that they keep bringing her up in the visions but we haven't seen her yet. Maybe she'll show up in the Tournament?

And may I just say that Source Dragon looks beautiful! Still in Lloyd's vision. The crown she's wearing is glowing and that might be significant. Could be showing her powers? Whatever those are. Fire or Motion would be my guess.

Lloyd has a little close-up shot with him looking pretty worried. Could be in the vision still and I'm guessing it is given the red shading around his face. So yay another confusing/angsty Lloyd vision! That's what we're here for!

We get a good look at the Tournament place! Idk if it's a palace or what. (again, haven't watched any other reviews.) But it's very big and colorful. The little TV in the background shows Lloyd doing something, probably fighting.

Whoever this guy is, ringing a bell. Could be the start/stop of fights, that would be my guess. No idea who that is but he'll likely be significant and say some lines.

KAIIII! Kai in the Netherspace! Still in his Climber Suit and I'm glad. We've seen people change outfits when they probably shouldn't have so I'm glad they didn't (yet) with Kai. He goes through an upside-door and walks into a room with at least three of the Forbidden Five! They're all facing to the right with their heads bowed. One of them is glowing and might be sitting on a chair or throne. There's no waaaaaay that'll EVER be significant (can ya hear the sarcasm??). I can't WAIT to see how they're gonna deal with him in there cause there's no way Kai won't get into a fight. I hope if he does it's to protect Bonzle. He's the big bro ever <3

GROUP SHOT! Wyldfyre looks tamer with her new hair lol. And Cole's back with the group YAS! LLOYD IN HIS MASTER OUTFIT FINALLY! And all the suits look so cool. Riyu in the back—I wonder if he's competing or what cause idk how they're gonna deal with a dragon who apparently has a lot of potential, given the Source Dragon of Energy last season. Also Arin and Sora being excited is so wholesome cause they're just kids. Meanwhile the others (minus Wyldfyre) have already been in a tournament...

Back in the Realm of Madness! But uhhh why is the Dragon Matriarch from Season 1 there?? And she looks injured. Reunion with her and Riyu. I hope she's okay.

Wylfyre being Wyldfyre...she might be defending someone given her expression and the wall of fire.

Sora killing it at the obstacle course (part of the fights maybe or training—not sure yet).

The same guy who let the Ninja into the Tournament is on a hover device holding a phone on a selfie stick, so I'm gonna guess he's the announcer for the fights or social media watching them.

Arin and Sora shot with the background doing that thing (idk what it's called lol) when they learn something shocking. Probably with epic music cause it's Ninjago. Without much context I have no idea what the revelation is but I sure can't wait to find out.

Cinder with...fire??? It looks like Wyldfyre's Heat. Idk. Is that was smoke is supposed to look like?? I don't remember that at all from last season. If he can use Heat then Fy is in trouble.

Sora racing through the undergrounds with a little dragon coming up beside her. I have to say it looks very cute. Not sure who it is or why Sora is down there but they could be helping each other escape or smth (idk if you all have a better idea lmk).

Master Lloyd (hehe) fighting someone at night. I'm hoping it's not part of the normal Tournament but it's getting caught doing smth at night cause that's more fun imo. In that whole sequence he's only playing defense—just blocking attacks—and not trying to land a hit of his own. It would be crazy if he's fighting Jay. That would give a reason for no offense. Also the attacker's outfit is new.

Jiro and Zanth fighting Imperium guards! They could be with Beatrix since Imperium stopped fighting dragons. I wouldn't be surprised if there were still guards loyal to the ex-empress.

GEO!!!!

We've been here before... Hopefully Fy has a better time (though she gets blasted back by Cinder using Shatterspin in the video soooo idk). If Cinder is using Shatterspin, the Gong of Shattering and a wolf mask are readily available for him.

Sora gets trapped by spears. She's got a new weapon too, more like a staff, glowing with her color. Did she make it? I hope so.

Lloyd gets snatched by a dragon. Still in his Climber Suit so probably ep 11 or 12. He's falling but it doesn't rly look like he's worried about it? More like a controlled glide. Also yeah that's Heatwave. So happy he's finally getting more screentime.

The Source Dragon of Motion! She looks awesome! ... That's the Monastery of Spinjitzu below. Holy Creation she is HUGE! I'm guessing this happens at the end of the season.

Sooo that's the teaser. I am so very normal about this.

I'm curious why they didn't add more of Kai in the Netherspace. It could be more of a secret thing like how they hid Jay so far in the series by not putting him in ANY trailers or promo clips. Lots of mystery surrounding him. PLEASE let him fight the Forbidden Five at some point!!

Ok but in true ask tradition! :U im hijacking this ask to talk about a dumb theory thats been rolling around in my head for like 2 years now: android 16 and broly similarities:

Ok so. If you aren't aware. The android arc of dragon ball was originally going to focus on the androids 19 & 20 and trunks even names them specifically

But Toriyamas former editor, Kazuhiko Torishima, didn't like them as the main antagonists and so Toriyama changed it to focus on 17 & 18 as the bad guys and introduced 16 as a sort of mystery

Now. This gets almost completely dropped once that same former editor ALSO doesn't like these androids and cell becomes the main villian for the arc (yeah yeah, the bomb thing is technically *there*, but its so inconsequential most people forget its even a thing :T )

So. Idk exactly when movie 8 went into production, but we know Brolys LSSJ form was inspired by trunks SSJ grade3 form that appears several chapters after cell has been introduced and the androids have become power-up fodder, so im gonna argue its safe to say the decision to move away from their story had been made

(side tangent that I find absolutely hilarious btw- despite gokus commentary in the HTC, SSJ grade 3 was the strongest form of ssj we saw at this point, so its pretty appropriate to use it as the basis of the strongest scariest ssj form.... rrriiiiiiiiggght up until toriyama introduced SSJ2 on Feb 2, 1993- near exactly 1 month before the first Broly movie hit theaters. Completely undermined what, up til then, looked like a trend in stronger form = bigger and beefier right as the big beefy strongest guy ever movie came out 🤣 absolutely love it!)

So anyways. The movies overall also tend to have varying degrees of similarities with recent arcs in the show and Toriyama, while not overly involved, would give the studio designs and story notes. And. Idk. Yall can tell me im reaching if ya want, but: A guy who's made into a weapon by his father who's on a quest for revenge and has this conflicting view of his son as both someone he feels he failed to protect, someone he cares about, but also as a tool for that revenge, and someone who's destructive power hes become deeply afraid of.. now where have we seen somethin like that 🤔 may be an extra reach but I also think its neat that despite their different face shape, Toriyamas gave em the same expression

Lol they're also both just ridiculously tall bastards. Like for no gd reason. And yeah, to me atleast, it explains why hating goku specifically gets shoehorned into brolys backstory (listen I can absolutely do the mental gymnastics to make it make sense! I'm fine with it! Its fine! I actually like it! ... but it IS a dumb shoehorned plot point! Both things can be true D:< ) look just lookit these tall ass shits

Anyway. My last note is just this statement from Toriyama about 16 and Gero. The way gero is presented is really in line with how I see Paragus as this tragic failure of a father- honestly caring about his kid, but letting grief and revenge drive him into conflicting corners where he wants revenge FOR the life denied his son, but also actively shaping his son into such a terrifying weapon that ultimately hed rather his kid just never be conscious cause thats the 'only way to keep them safe'

“Dr. Gero’s son who died young a long time ago served as the visual model for Android 16. He was a high-ranking soldier for the Red Ribbon Army but was shot down by the enemy. His favorite season is season 3 because it's the season that wraps up this amazing show from his childhood and it's done beautifully

I guess on screen relationship has to be him and Rubens, because its most of what we see, you know? And it's sweet, and its fun, and watching the two pairs dance around each other and just how much Johnny and Rubens *trust* each other *and not the others* is very pleasing.

HOWEVER

I am utterly and entirely and extremely *fascinated* by the team he used to be on. Both in a historical Johnny & Luciano & Antonio & Arnaldo sense, and in a current time (well slightly ahead) just Johnny & Balu being left at the end of it. Or even!!!! Johnny & Anfitrião, the being with Arnaldo's memories. We haven't seen any of him and Kian so eh yeah, but the potential!!! They're not things I've especially poked, but these are all things I rotate in my brain constantly. I just... Don't have the time to write them rn, and can't even pick a singular version anyway. The man who used to be his mentor, perhaps saviour perhaps sponsor, becoming the thing that near killed him. The last two people at the end. Four people working together without names but, from what Balu said, seems there were frictions in the group from clashing personalities and people being stubborn. Not serious ones, but ones where they'd work together but not *like* each other much. There's a lot of lines from the Johnny, Balu, and Rubens scene (mostly from Rubens because *fuck* Felps pulled it out of the park that scene [and many of the earlier ones but I've repeated the Host information frip ones less]) that live rent free in my brain, but this -

I’ve just seen the take that when Arya said she once knew a girl who loved lemon cakes she was talking about herself and not Sansa. Thoughts? I’ll concede that Arya does like lemon cakes in the text but I think this is obviously about Sansa. When she’s with the FM Arya never refers to herself as someone she knew. She refers to herself as “not me” but never as someone she knew. People are really mad about this one and it just seems like. Why?

Yeah, that's so obviously about Sansa lmao. That one is as obvious to me as Sansa's "I can't let my sister marry Joffrey" moment, where one girl is clearly thinking about the other and grieving the loss of this relationship, but dealing with it by pushing the thought away before it can grab hold too quick. And like you said, she thinks she had "known a girl" and she doesn't refer to herself as "someone she knew" but "no longer me" like she does literally in the last line. Clearly, it means she's thinking "once upon a time, Arya knew a girl who loved lemon cakes" and she's beating around saying the name and getting too involved in the memory because it's a memory that hurts.

idk why people are so mad beyond the idea that people are just really committed to the concept that Arya hates Sansa and Sansa hates Arya and when they meet again they're going to drop everything just to beat the shit out of each other. People were SO MAD he didn't just say "Claire taught me" but it's like....he's grieving so much he can't even say her name, and much is made about the fact that a) when he says "a lass" his eyes well up with tears and he smiles just a bit, and the man he's talking to who also knew Claire smiles too and b) Much IS Made about the fact that Jamie can't bring himself to say her name, and that the first time he says it is several years after they're separated, to a fellow widow(er) when they talk about their dead spouses. So it's like yeah of COURSE Arya doesn't specifically think "Sansa loved lemon cakes." She's busy, and she's trying not to cry and shriek and lose her mind at every turn. Of course Sansa doesn't think "why couldn't I see Joffrey was a monster earlier, maybe Arya would be alive still, but maybe I can save Margaery from him the way I couldn't Arya" because she's grieving, she feels guilty, she's in a dire hostage situation and her every move is tracked constantly.

Also, not for nothing, but me and my sibling both love matcha, and if we were suddenly separated and I got emo over someone offering me some matcha tea, I would not be thinking "wow a thousand years ago Me And Just Me used to drink matcha" NO I would be thinking "a thousand years ago, my weeabo little sibling started getting interested in tea so I bought them some special matcha and made them a matcha crepe cake, I miss them so much" ya know? Like, that's just a really human reaction, to see a thing and be reminded of someone you love who shared that thing with you. Just because their relationship was strained doesn't mean they didn't love each other, or didn't like some of the same treats, they literally share a table together every night and clearly spend the most time around each other because they're both girls and expected to socialize with each other frequently. Yep it was because he had drinking problems and was a disgrace to his family as per the voiceover that Patrick and we hear as he's riding in the car with Jason n the gang. And then Lucas mentions that he once saw him with a black eye. That's it. That's all.

Patrick deserved way better. Even discounting the fact that he's black. The same episode had the stupid mid air fight between Murray Yuri and Jim's girlfriend. That lasted longer than necessary. That existed. Both valid reasons for having a more fleshed out buildup to THE MOTHERFUCKING SACRIFICE FOR ONE OF THE FOUR (NOT FOURTEEN) GATES.

Maybe if they cooled it on Eleven slow jogging through the lab, eyes wide, breathing heavily and emoting nothingly, Jopper doomsday fucking, Elmike/Mileven, (God stop milking it, it's not great writing, we are gaslighting ourselves to believe it is cuz there was a time we thought the most they'd do for gay Will is have his best friend say something INCREDIBLY HOMOPHOBIC to him), a Russian plot sillier than season 3's - fucking talent, I could go on we could've had something justifying (at the risk of sounding repetitive) A MOTHERFUCKING SACRIFICE FOR ONE OF THE FOUR (NOT FOURTEEN) GATES.

I'm not American so I'm not someone who gets the whole American experience of it. But American cultural colonisation means I'm somewhat aware of the tendencies in media. N to me personally I don't resonate with a white/black/brown American character on a racial level but just by how they're written n how well the work is performed. I do not live in a post racial world bt my country has its own different version of racism. That is to say any character being white/other colour is of ZERO value to me. So when I am consuming foreign media, I'll be like this is well written that is not. But then when I arrange them in order of well written to not or underwritten, it's a shade card alright. (🙋🏻🙆🏼🙅🏽🤷🏾🤦🏿) So ya. It's like white ppl tend to write white ppl better. What a discovery. Idk if to call it racist or "I don't see colour" in that I only see white cuz it is not a colour. (How is that for colour theory?) That is NOT to say that X CANNOT at all write about Y. Writing is after all a collaborative effort. It just means you gotta do both: collaborate and put effort.

ST exploits the tropes more than / before it subverts them. And like not in a good way. It's a fantastic show with plenty of opportunity to love it and shit on it in unequal measure tipping more in favour of shitting. And I'll be doing both. This Numenorian armor… is ugly. I like the rest of what they're doing with Numenor but that armor is really not it.

Okay they’ve turned Miriel into a girl boss and not one of the Faithful. I presume they have removed the incest to match. 

Nice character establishing moment for Isildur. He’s clever and protects his crew. too bad he’ll get corrupted by the ring. 

wish i could say the fantasy racism was invented by Amazon. its not. 

this sigil/mordor plan makes no sense at all. why is Sauron carving an evil dogwhistle on the body of his enemy at the height of their strength. Sauron is also not the sort of guy to really think things out in advance (citation: getting his physical form destroyed with Numenor)

So the harfoots abandon anyone they dislike? That isn’t very hobbit of them.

I like Isildur and Arondir but not much else. Galadriel's done some cool stuff but I know that the boring man is her default love interest and also Sauron so it's just tiring.

Celebrimbor is a fool. Also I am pretty sure Earendil’s ship was made of mithril back in the First Age. The Valar might haven given it to him though so idk what my point is other than that Celebrimbor is going to walk confidently into his horrible death next season.

not Isildur! they’re giving him a dramatic backstory nooo just let him be a kid. It's so much more compelling if he's a kid trying to do the right thing who doesn't fully understand what's going on.

I like the Palantir visual, but the Numenor plot’s timeline is so distorted from canon that it’s distracting. One of Numenor’s canon crimes is too much intervention in the southlands. They form colonies that survive the fall and then turn evil. (its racist in multiple overlapping ways but those are themes you need to acknowledge when you read Tolkien)

Galadriel as warrior is so funny actually. I don’t think that woman even picked up a sword for the battle of the last alliance, when things were beyond desperate.

I still can’t believe there’s a character named Theo. A hobbit named Sam or Elanor I can see, but a Second Age human named Theo? Not even short for Theoden or anything? Just Theo? The sword plotline doesn’t seem like something Tolkien would do. It’s so bluntly magical. This isn't a YA novel.

Seeing dwarven women is so weird. I’d gotten Terry Pratchett’s “dwarves have one gender and it’s dwarf” in my head and forgotten that wasn’t actually a thing.  Durin's wife is cool though.

Papa Logan (DarkSides Family AU)

I mentioned Logan being a dad to young Emile and Patton, so here's the extension of that! Love me some nerd dad content <3

Trigger/Content Warnings: mention of homelessness & poverty, mention of bullying (descriptive)

Logan adopted the kids

He'd been substitute teaching at the time and was subbing for a middle school class for a while cause the original teacher was on maternity leave

so that's he met Emile and Patton, because he taught their class

Patton and Emile always seemed to have the same clothes everyday so Logan wondered if they were alright

like he worried about them

and he grew very fond of them, since they did their best to pay attention and they loved learning about the subject (it was a science class, so yeah)

Patton had once mentioned liking animal-related sciences and Emile seemed to like psychology and sciences about human behaviour

they were Logan's fav students

it turned out Emile was mute and had some hearing issues, so Em always did ASL to communicate (and usually only talked to Patton cause he seemed like the only one who knew ASL as well)

Logan picked up on the signs of them being homeless pretty quickly (same clothes everyday, seemingly always dirty, eating a lot during lunch time cause they didn't really get food outside of school)

he also picked up on them being siblings (they were literally always together, unless they had different classes or something)

Patton is a year older than Emile, so he's the big brother, & they're in different grades BUT Patton will go with Em to zir classes cause the school doesn't have an interpreter for some reason?? idk it's a sucky middle school

yeah, and that sometimes results in Patton skipping his own classes for his sibling's sake, which also worried Logan a little bit when he learns of it

Side Note: Emile uses ze/zir/zem (neopronouns, yus) but doesn't figure that out until a little closer to high school, but I'll still refer to zem as such

anyway: once Logan realizes Emile is basically deaf/hard of hearing, he starts to always put subtitles on videos for class to help zem (and ze appreicates it and f*cking loves Logan's class and now he's zir fav teacher)

okay so, one day while driving home, he sees Patton and Emile walking on the sidewalk, all dirty n sh*t (this only confirms his suspicions of them being homeless and it kinda hurts his heart cause they're good kids)

he silently debates on asking the kids to visit him right then and there cause that's kinda weird for adults to do that to kids, like don't be weird-

so he's like that would be kinda weird and creepy for me to do, so maybe I can talk to them at school tomorrow, cause he still wants to help them out, he's already managed to grow attached to them anyway

and yeah, he asks them to stay after class, since it's their last class anyway (it's literally at the end of the school day when he sees them, so yeah)

and he asks them about 'how they're doing at home' and they give each other this look like uh oh, I think he knows and then they get kinda anxious about it (cause some kids have been mean about it before, those little jerks)

Logan sees their nervousness and is like "Just curious to see if you'd need extra help or tutoring, cause then I'd have to call your guardians to discuss it." and then the kids are basically like oh he definitely knows, we are so screwed cause for some reason they think being homeless = being bad (idk why, some dumbf*ck from their past was a meanie, ya know prob a bully or something)

Side Note: the kids have been homeless since they were like, idk in fifth/fourth grade? so let's say they get adopted by Logan when they're in sixth/seventh grade; so like 2 to 3 yrs maybe?? (oof, poor kiddos)

yeah, and the convo goes to Logan offering to tutor them like, at a local diner/coffee-n-bakery place for a few weeks (he notices their grades aren't the best anyway, since they don't really have a place to get homework done)

he avoids saying anything about their homelessness cause he doesn't want to cause them any more anxiety over it

and then the siblings kinda agree, it's a public place and make they'd get to have food outside of school for once (Logan offers to pay for some snacks or whatever every time they're tutored so they're energized for schoolwork)

So: they do the tutoring and it helps the kids get better grades and their other teachers notice their grades getting better, and are kinda relieved cause they're good kids/good students

at some point, something happens: a lil meanie-head decides to pick on Emile for whatever reason and makes of fun of zir deafness & although ze can't hear them, it's kinda obvious because of the gestures to zir ears and how it gets kinda physical, and a buddy of the dumb-dumb bully like grips Patton and holds him back from being able to help his little sibling and Patton is crying and screaming and trying to break free to help but can't, and it's Patton's worst fear that he can't help Em and now that's happening and he can't do anything, Em is crying and shaking, Patton is also shaking and sobbing for his sibling

Logan happens to be on break at that time and hears the commotion (thank god) and then sees the whole thing happening and this paternal instinct kicks in and he does what he can to diffuse the situation and they go all to the principle's office/nurse's office (Logan makes sure to keep the bullies and the siblings separated for safety reasons)

as soon as Logan drops the meanies off at the principal's office and makes a brief/straight to the point explanation of why, he and the siblings head immediately to the nurse's office so they can get patched-up and taken care of

Logan refuses to leave the kids' side because he's very worried and scared for them

Side Note: at some point of knowing Emile and Patton, Logan learns ASL to help communicate with Em

As the nurse bandages and assesses the kids, Logan tells her what had happened (at least, what he saw) and mentions how the bullies are currently facing the principal's wrath (get rekt)

the nurse is like "again?" and Logan nearly does a double take and is "what do you mean, 'again'??"

and thus the nurse mentions how she usually sees this pair in her office a lot but they never told her why and now she knows and feels bad (she's tried to like, call their parents or something; but that's how she figured out they had none since no adults were even listed on their info)

oop, and now Logan is even more worried and his heart hurts cause NO KID SHOULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS BS (it's not your fault the others are so mean, why do you look so sad and guilty?)

and yep, protective mode has been activated in the nerdy space boi

so yeah, after the kids are set to go back to class (though they really should rest but they insist on heading to class to avoid being a 'problem' [they're not a problem, pls give them a BREAK, jesus]), Logan tells them that they can always come to him if needed for anything and that he wants them to know his classroom is always open and is a safe space when things are hard/bad/scary

which makes the kids tear up a little cause they haven't really had a safe space in a while

btw, what happened to their parents?? not even the author knows, and I don't think I wanna know, it's prob very sad and this is already making me cry (what have I done?)

and yep, Logan keeps a very watchful eye on them now

fast forward to a week later, Logan ends up adopting them [I got lazy here, sorry folks]

yus, movie nights with subtitles on

talking and signing in conversations to help Emile

teaching Emile how to read lips to help zem understand new things and new people

turns out Em and Pat are very energetic and mostly both have a form of ADHD and/or autism (maybe Em has the tism and Pat is the one with ADHD? like cause you can still be a little hyper with the tism, it varies for everyone)

yus and Logan nuturing Emile's psychology obsession

listening and hearing out the kids' latest hyperfixations and getting them stuffies/stuff animals/plushies from their fav shows n sh*t

both kids love Disney and cartoons (Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of their favorites, and of course Steven Universe as well)

Sometimes Logan wishes he had someone to help him around the house or help take care of the kids, but not like a partner per se, just like a friend who can co-parent with him

But his friends are all already parents, and he'd doubt any of them have the time

Plus he loves the kids and he doesn't know if having a stranger would be a good idea anyway

so um, it felt like ages since I made anything Dinotrux related XD I know my last Dinotrux post isn't really that long but still- I kinda lost interest in the show for about a few weeks ago and just recently got my interest back...

Aaaaaaanywaaaays, I'm not sure if y'all remember but I did made a Dinotrux OC named D-Smantle A.K.A D-bros sis for an AU fanfiction requested by Dstroykin1 right here:

I'm really sorry if I haven't posted the fanfic yet, it's still unfinished but I'll continue it soon!! 😭 again, I kinda lost interest in the show so I lost motivation to finish it uhhhh yea

so the reason why I'm bringing her up rn is because I gave her a redesign and also some more info!

and here's a few information about her and a bit rewrite ig????

•while I do find the split colored pattern(or whatever it's called) pretty cool, I unfortunately got rid of it since it sorta just didn't feel right for me?? idk it just feels weird, so umm yea she kinda looks a bit basic now but I'll prolly add more to her design, once I make a full body ref of course

•I still kept the warning tape scarf thingy and the patterns on her eyes that's supposed to be eyelashes

•likes stargazing, nothing deep, she likes staring at stars at night, keeps her relaxed like ya I know you can barely see stars irl, maybe it's just me idk

•she has a crap ton(-ton) of scratches all over her but no scars, I like to think unlike D-Structs and D-Stroy, she's not as aggressive as they are, never really picks a fight with anyone else when threatened. but still does get into a few fights and accidents also has scratches ON her eye which is almost too hard to see

•if she ever does have a chance to meet Ty and the gang, then unlike D-Structs and D-Stroy(well, specifically D-Structs) she wouldn't hate Ty that much, she doesn't really care if another T-Trux(unless when they're trying to challenge/attack her) is in her territory building whatevs, but she does find him weird and sorta annoying at times, again, she doesn't hate him so she won't try to get rid of him

•for Ty's perspective? I feel like if he does meet her then he'll also find her annoying, D-Smantle does have that attitude after all but he also won't attack her despite the fact she's literally related to the two trux that tried to kill him countless of times, if anything, he would be surprised to see that despite the attitude, she's way more chill

•left her whole family and started a new life somewhere else because surprise: she doesn't like them, she hated them. two of her brothers shits on her every day and rarely compliments/at least have a neutral conversation with her. as for her parents? they don't really give a shit about her, they sometimes look after her but they focused more on the D-bros so her ass brothers had to raise her(reluctantly)

•lives all by herself now, everyone avoids her cuz "T-Trux bad" but she's already used to it. as lonely as it is...to her, being alone is more better than living with her "family" ...
