Really says something about the dire state of offerings for men interested in sewing their own clothes that even searching things like "interesting men's clothing patterns" brings up articles with links to four or five whole websites that primarily offer admittedly nice but practically identical patterns for making button-ups and work pants and maybe a varsity/bomber jacket if you're lucky.

(Branching out into historical costuming for everyday wear is like your one shot at variation, and even then, the ratio of men's to women's patterns on every website is frustrating to say the least.)

Patternmakers as a trans man I am begging you. Give me a little more to work with here.

comics as an art form make me insane. they’re so difficult to do well. there’s so many different ways to make sequential art work and most of them are deeply unintuitive. onomatopoeia that feels completely ridiculous to put down often reads seamlessly. panels on a page become a fractally nested image composition challenge that’s only possible to lose because if you do a good job no one will notice. you have to direct the readers’ eyes on a specific path across the page but also account for the fact that they won’t follow it. comic time isn’t linear. if the order of events isn’t crystal clear the story becomes incomprehensible. sometimes you need to do this on purpose. all this for a medium almost universally considered less effective than animation and less respectable than plain text. even its own name doesn’t take it seriously

My favorite version of Sonic and Shadow's dynamic is that they think very highly of each other so they really try to look cool in front of each other more than they would for anyone else. All that pride got thrown out the window already tho, so that's my excuse to make them talk

Poetry Corner

In a lean-to shelter of sticks and grasses somewhere close to a lake quasi-primeval, just picture no less than such cousins unlikely as Captain Caveman and the Slag Brothers.

Picture them, more or less, just relaxing through as much the agency of male-on-male bonding as well as ritual interspecies lovemaking seeking to reaffirm such natural bonds from prehistory.

And couldn't it just feel so wondrous to be in such magically close company of kinship with bears in particular, not feeling any shame for showing such friendship most unusually?

And just the sheer feeling of it all....
