svsss pokemon AU wips that I cleaned up a bit of my drafts

I picked Grovyle for Shen Qingqiu bc I think he has more of an aloof resting face, and I needed a pokemon with arms and legs, or else where is the fear to become a human?pokemon? stick?

Some pokemons have their usual anatomy, others were yassified(¿) to make them more appealing to the general imaginary public(¿ of whatever Airplane was writing in this au, probably a crack fic that went a bit too far from being just a joke

Growlithe White Lotus Bingup vs Arcanine Black Lotus Binghe, his fluffysness amplified X100! (I saw someone around here say growlithe of hisui was perfect for Binghe and I never let it go)

Some Moshang poke vers 💙💛 I think airplane would indulge himself a bit and make his fave oc a legendary (and a bit of searching told me there are a few Articunos around so Linguang Jun is another one too, just bigger and meaner)

(Also in my hc this is another reason to why Sqq couldn't even fanthom the idea of Arcanine!Binghe being interested in him. He is an old cranky lizzard in a world of cute furry girls? It just doesn't make sense! Why would binghe prefer this old grass lizzard???)

I feel like we are all sleeping on the fan fiction potential given to us from Deadpool and Wolverine using their bodies to make a circuit with matter and anti-matter

Who knows what that could do to a person, you could write a fic where that caused anything your heart could think up.

#mine #i love my steam deck sooooooooo much im so happy i can actually play games again like a big proper library of them #and everything #everything on steam AND emulators is available to me. do you know how many games that is!#i started a new beegee3 playthrough on the HARDEST DIFFICULTY (!) today. which is also a single-save difficulty #and im in one of the most difficult parts of the game right now (level 4) and kind of nervous lol #but at the same time im really proud of myself for learning the game to the point i feel comfortable challenging myself in it #and im happy i get to at all :D i love you video games #and sooner or later ill come back to stardew valley cause there was that big update and i have some games on my wishlist too #and its not verified yet but i might play that pomeranian making the house dirty game cause it looked cute #oh and yakuza also because my friend got two of the yakuzas for me #YAYYYYY GAMES #also kind of sad though because tomorrow i pack and sunday i go back for babys last quarter of college #and im worried about how busy its going to be with classes and job apps and then of course actually graduating #and moving out and haivng a job and stuff #when all i want is to enjoy being able to play video games again.... sig #sigh*#WHATEVER...future mes problem #oh i almost forgot...one of the best parts of the deck imo is the versatility because with games like beegee3 #you can play it in controller mode which has its pros and cons but you can also swap to computer mode #which also has its pros and cons so like. i can adjust as needed #when im just exploring or trying to loot an area etc i go controller #but when im in combat i go computer because the hotbar is REALLY helpful for decision making #its really nice to have the option to choose since no console players have that it seems #and the only pc players who can do that are the ones who have and are willing to connect controllers #and most of them dont seem to be into that #but im really glad to be able to do both #ok done yapping now

I'm still grieving the dreams I lost due to my disability and I just added another one

#ones id already lost: wanting to hold any job at all. wanting to be a doctor. wanting to be a gymnast. wanting to play bass #wanting to be a therapist (maybe still possible? this is due to my inability to hold any job but im still hopeful i may be able to do this)#i wanted to go to school... i can still learn things of course but its harder and there's no community #i wanted to learn everything. everything about plants and animals and quantum mechanics and languages #everything about history and culture and sciences. but i can't. i mean that was never a realistic goal of course #but I cant get as close to it now as i wouldve if i was healthy #the one i recently added is discovering my fingers have deteriorated so much that playing keyboard is nearly impossible #thats been a lifelong dream of mine... even drawing hurts unless i draw with my finger. i cant hold a pencil without pain #like im figuring things out. working through accommodations and making new goals #but that grief is still there and the wound is still fresh and sometimes it just feels like its growing and it will never stop #i need too much that i cant have. I have so few options #i really dont know what kind of future there is for me if my pain and disability is already this bad in my 20s

#so I did have plans tto attempt learning Unity but apparently theyre planning on adding 'install fees'#and although that would likely not affect me if I ever do manage to make anything it makes me concerned about future changes #PLUS I came across articles discussing AI generation tools in Unity #looks like that option is most likely going out the window #so my options are try to learn Unreal (which apparently DOES have a free version I dont know why comparisons I saw before said it didn't)#or make an engine from scratch which... not feasible for me at all #again I know nothing about any of this hence 'Attempt to learn'#3rd option is rpgmaker #which I may dig into regardless

I have so many fun facts about myself that aren’t really fun. They’re just like… mediocre. So I’d never bring them up when someone asks me for a fun fact, and they are too short to really be entertaining stories, so I just have a books worth of little events in my life that are only somewhat intriguing but they compose who I am. And I think everyone is like that to a degree. We’re all little stories that we don’t think are worth telling. Not because we don’t want to, but because we don’t think don’t think they’re worthy of being heard.

#no clue what to tag this #random thoughts with rowan #existentialism #random thoughts #so anyway have a few of these little tid bits about me #a stranger #as a child I cursed when I cut the tip of my finger off and my first priority was apologizing for cursing #I once pretended to be interested in the Navy and made an appointment with a recruitment officer just so I could take his mug ☕️#I’ve had to pull tarantula fangs out of one of my coworkers #I once told a teacher that they couldn’t call my mom on me because she was in prison #I learned how to juggle because I thought it was imprsssive and then stopped practicing once I leaned that people thought it was lame #I had a bird named Devil who I only owned for two days before returning to the pet store after he attacked my mom #I set a bag of popcorn on fire by accident and the first thing I did was grab it with my hands #during my freshman year of high school I collected chapstick because I thought my future girlfriend would want to have options…#cont. and I never once wore any of the 60+ chapsticks of mine while kissing someone #instead of selling lemonade I used to sell painted rocks on a street corner #during a group project I forgot how to pronounce Ohio #In elementary school I told the lunch ladies I was allergic to wheat because I hated whole wheat and now I actually am #I know most of the lyrics to the songs from The Greatest Showman but have never seen it #as a child I thought plums were a made up fruit #I planned on joining the military out of spite against people telling me I would not have enjoyed it #I flooded a classroom and got doused by a chem shower on my second day as a lab assistant #and uhhh there’s more but have this for now #fun facts

#dear prudence #slate #ranting #like sure yes use family planning #but as someone who uses NFP #AND has had birth trauma #preventing pregnancy alone is not going to help #whether or not they have more kids in the future #they deserve to have trauma informed counseling/therapy #as well as know what their options are for a future birth #this is called INFORMED DECISION MAKING #no one gives a fuck about birth justice unless abortion is threatened I swear #also I like to think NFP was a good part of my healing process #since I had to learn about my body and be comfortable with it #it’s gotten to the point where with my last birth #I could tell my midiwfe what my cervix was up to 😂#but otherwise yeah #I wouldn’t have healed at all without EMDR therapy

#i love my team i rarely if ever say a negative thing because i am grateful to their humanity and compassion toward each other #but I'm aggravated #i don't like imposing my will against others especially when it comes to children #no matter how verbally abusive or physical they try to get when they throw a trantrum or are legitimately triggered #i know there are times where these situations call for more strictness and redirection #but god damn if somehow I'm getting through to that kid in the middle of that and they're talking to me and telling me how they feel #and trusting me to hold space for them #the last thing i need anyone doing is coming in cornering them and being like NUH HUH NOT THAT #“your options are sit in the rain or attend pe!”#cause we're right back at square fucking 1 and also you underminded me in front of the kiddo which hurts me and also may plant the idea #that they can undermine me in the future #i was hired to be a mentor and a specialist #let me be a damn mentor and specialist and work my magic #i had this kid coming down from a 10 with aggression to a 6 within minutes then the conversation got derailed #i like the teacher i work alongside but sometimes i get the impression she doesn't like my methods for getting on the kiddos levels #cause it can be very childlike and yes it does take away time from their education however this is also a treatment facility and school #the mental health component is just as if not more important #cause how can they function and learn if they can't get their basic needs met?#ok off my soapbox #i love helping kids but damn it do the adults in and out of the job don't appreciate that #magenta is my safe word for venting lmao
