Art With My Fics

Hi everyone, I had an ask a little while back about art accompanying my fics. I answered it honestly and truthfully, as I always do. I've now learnt a little bit more about how art, the alt text button, and Tumblr as a whole feels about art with fics. I thought I'd write a post about it to further clarify what I'll be doing going forward.

Going Forward

I will no longer be uploading art found on Google and Pinterest. I had no idea how deeply art theft occurs, and the original creators deserve far better respect than thievery.

I will be actively seeking permission from artists before using their art to post with. I don't have twitter, nor do I have any other platform to post fics other than Ao3 and Tumblr.

I will be using art from the anime, manga, and live action with the alt text used for its intended purposes: character, episode/movie.

I will be using free stock images, as I usually do, and create mood boards with them to depict my thoughts about which direction fics will be going.

I might take the opportunity to draw something for the fics I create. I am not exceptionally talented with my art, so please bear with me as I try something a little new.

What this means

Things will likely take a little longer, so please be patient. I adore art, would love to keep art with my fics, and I want to give respect and credit to those who work their asses off to create mastery.

Thank you for reading, if you've read so far. I respect artists so much and had no idea that what I was doing was wrong until it was pointed out to me by the original anon.

A soultie

There’s obviously unfinished business here. That needs to be worked through. It’s not necessarily work through it with you. But it means working through the idea of the psychological warfare that I’ve been playing for the last—— well we started dating in March 2023 and it’s January going into February 2025. So tha— that‘s 22 months this cycle has been going on. I ended our relationship, going off of how my body felt after we started dating. And when my body declines, to me that is sign of something unhealthy that’s entering the body and poisoning from the inside out. And it’s slowly deters a person. And then it turns into a physical change in not only behavior, but the mindset of which that person had already. But I was sick, because I was mentally sick. I allowed a psychological warfare to start, because I wasn’t following my intuition, whenever it came to the treatment of how this person was coming forward to me.

Today I wrote in regards of this — soul tie if you will — let me pull it up here, now these are also kind to include my thoughts around the thoughts;

“You fucked up every single time you came back in, that made it impossible to get through you at all.

Never did for a matter of fact, I don’t like material things, yes they’re nice every once in a while… But I think it’s a very shallow kind of connection to have with somebody, and leaving it there… But I do give people material things, whenever I really do appreciate what they’ve done for me as a person. I value things that are more valuable than a materialistic idea of fulfillment. There was a moment in time where I saw the real you, and I still continued to allow you in my vibration, and in my personal space knowing the person you show yourself to be.

“Because you chase a vibration that I don’t have any interest in. And it’s ugly. Which is why I’m so angry. The potential I saw, is fake.”

All you did was wear a mask our entire relationship. And then you made me feel as though, me and my hurt from your manipulation, doesn’t play a part in my everyday life, and gives a valid reaction to whom you present yourself to be. It does. For a matter of fact, if you want to play the victim now, or if you now “see“ where I’m coming from, there are, I believe, as a person, there are boundaries that shouldn’t have to be said out loud, and there are more than enough that I said. And let be. I hold a certain standard, and I put myself in a mindset to continue moving for no matter where I’m at. In order to grow, and evolve, and elevate, become more knowledgeable, to educate yourself, to have wisdom is to be somebody with hands-on experience. A narcissist will never see how your feelings plan into something. They’ll only see their point of view. Which opens the aspect of ignorance. And the idea that people play “ignorant” to get away with their morals. People use darkness to fool the masses. Then manipulate people that are good. And then gaslight you into thinking everything you’re thinking, is wrong...?🤨🤷‍♀️ right..🧏‍♀️

P.s through all of this, I manifested my dreams. And they’re coming true. Day by day. It’ll be hard, but it’s worth it.

These bud vases are the first two things I’ve made this year! (besides test tiles…but that’s a different story)

I haven’t made this shape in two years. The whole time I was throwing, I was sure that they would end up the same size as last time. But they weren’t! They are twice the size of the grey/black vases that I made two years ago in the second picture. I used the same amount of clay (1 pound), and I made the glaze myself this time. It’s exciting to see how far I’ve come

hehehe I learned how to make infused oils! I think I’m gonna start with orange oil since it’s what I have on hand. I also plan on making rose moon water for Our Lady of the Sun and Stars this spring! I know I’m thinking far ahead I’m just so so excited to garden :D
