Summary: Kieran needs a little cheering up and MC and their minccino are eager to help!

“Hey, Kieran!”

Kieran looked up to see MC walking towards him and waving, with a minccino riding on their hat.

“Oh! Hey there, MC!”

They sat down next to him and minccino climbed down off of MC’s hat onto Kieran’s lap.

“Hi, minccino,” Kieran scratched behind her ears. She melted into his touch, delighted. “Aren’t you cute?” He looked back up at MC. “Did you catch her recently? I don’t think I’ve seen you with her before.”

“Yes, I did! I caught her in the Polar Biome for Drayton’s challenge, and we’ve grown quite fond of each other ever since. Her name is Cappuccino!”

“Chino, chino!”

“She’s very sweet.”

Cappuccino jumped back to MC and climbed up onto their shoulder. “She likes to be up high.”

Kieran smiled halfheartedly. “All Pokémon just love you, don’t they?” He looked at his feet.

“I wouldn’t say all…”

They sat in silence for a moment.

“I…” MC started, “I want to apologize.”

Kieran looked up at them.

“I shouldn’t have lied to you. That wasn’t okay, and I’m really so—”

“I’m sorry too! I’ll never lash out at you like that ever again. I promise!”

“I know. It’s okay, and I forgive you.”

“I forgive you too.”

MC smiled. “Can… Can I have a hug?”

“Oh! Y-yeah…”

The two leaned in and embraced each other. After a moment, Cappuccino crawled over to Kieran’s shoulder and nuzzled into his neck.

“Eek! H-hey!”

“I’m not doing anything…?”

They let go and MC saw that Cappuccino had found a new perch.

“Chichi! Chichi!”

“Aw, I think she likes you!”

“Mrrmph-! T-tell her to stahap, w-would you?”

“Wait, are you—”

“N-no!”

Cappuccino paused to look at MC. Kieran let out the breath he was apparently holding in.

“Hmm, I think I know something that might cheer you up.”

“Wha-?”

“Cappuccino, use tickle!”

“Chi! Chichichichichichichichi!”

Cappuccino rapidly swished her tail back and forth against Kieran’s neck and ears. When he scrunched his neck and shoulders to protect himself, she would crawl to the other side.

“Ah! Ahahahaha nohoho! S-stahahahahahahap ihihit!”

Kieran didn’t want to accidentally hurt her, so he just sat there, giggling, fists clenched in his lap.

“I was right! Now let’s see… Are you ticklish here?” MC gently poked Kieran’s tummy.

“Nahahahahahat you too!”

“Sounds like a yes. How about riiight here?” They wiggled a finger in his belly button.

“EEEHE! NohohOHOhooo!”

Cappuccino wagged her tail under his chin.

“Ehehehe *snort* I- *snort* stAHAHAHA!”

MC laughed along with him. “What about these ribs of yours?” They kneaded his lower ribs with their thumbs and Kieran shook his head and kicked his feet out.

“Chichichi!”

Wanting to help MC, Cappuccino slipped under Kieran’s shirt and clung to his bicep as she swiped her tail over his right armpit.

“W-whaAAHAHAHA! G-gehet oUT of-eEHEHEHE!”

“You have a really cute laugh, you know,” MC commented, still tickling his ribcage.

Kieran blushed.

Cappuccino then crawled down his torso, came out the bottom of his shirt and sat on his left knee.

“Chino!”

“What is it?” MC asked Cappuccino, “Do you have an idea?”

“Chino, chino!”

Cappuccino held on to Kieran’s thigh and swished her tail against the underside of his knee.

“N-no! Not my knehehehEHEHEES! I’m rehEHEHEHEALLY t-tihihicklish thehehEHEHERE!”

“Good work, Cappuccino! It’s super effective!”

“Shuhut uhuhup! You’re worse than CahahAHAHAHA! WAIHAIHAIHAIHAIT!”

MC joined in, squeezing above Kieran’s kneecaps and holding his legs still with their own while Cappuccino hopped back and forth between his legs, brushing her tail against his inner thighs and the undersides of his knees.

“AHAHAHAHAHAHA! P-PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE! DOHOHOHOHON’T! STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!”

“Don’t stop? You got it!”

“NoohOOOHOHO-AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! IHAHAI’M GONNA DIHIHIEEEEHEHEHE! MAHAHA! MEHEHEHERCY! MER-HAHAHA-HERHERHERCY!”

“Alright, Cappuccino, that’s enough.”

“Chino…”

Disoriented, Kieran leaned over onto MC’s lap and gasped for air.

“Ehehehe.. haha… ahahaha…”

MC patted his head. “You alright?”

“Yeaha…”

Cappuccino clambered over Kieran and climbed back up MC’s arm onto their shoulder. MC continued to soothe Kieran by lightly scratching his scalp, which he appeared to enjoy. They stayed like that for a few minutes until MC stopped and Kieran finally came out of his daze.

“Wha- When did I get on your lap??”

“Don’t worry about it,” MC said reassuringly, “I don’t mind.”

Embarrassed, he sat up and avoided MC’s gaze. He twiddled his hair in his fingers.

“Thanks.”

“For what?”

“F-for tickling me… I haven’t been tickled in a while, and, so uh… it was nice.”

“Oh, I’m glad!”

“Yeah.” Kieran peeked at MC and smiled, genuinely.

“Feel free to ask any time. Right, Cappuccino?”

“…”

Kieran stopped hiding his face and turned towards the pair. “Looks like she fell asleep.”

“I’m surprised you didn’t, after that.”

“I almost did, you have a magic touch. No wonder your Pokémon love your pets so much!”

author’s note: scott is my least favorite character, so expect some jabs to be thrown at him in here. anyway, sorry if this is trash or too cringeworthy. i tried my best, y’all ✌🏻

• you’ve known of wallace through a few stories your closest friend, stacey pilgrim. you mainly just listened to her rant about him stealing a few of her boyfriends.

— sadly though, wallace ended up breaking things off with other scott…and jimmy…and that other guy that he can’t remember the name of. the good thing is that scott finally moved out since he is planning on living with ramona. still…it did get a little lonely at times.

• because of how sad and isolated he felt, wallace began to drink. well, more than usual anyway. every night he could be seen lounging at his favorite bar with a generous of empty beer bottles/cans in front of him.

• it wasn’t until the fourth night of this repetitive cycle is when wallace met you: [name: y/n l/n. occupation: bartender. 24 years old and he’s never seen you until tonight which is surprising since wallace practically knows everybody.]

— right off the bat, you two hit it off right away. there was an underlying tension there but for the first few occurrences when you either bumped into wallace in the street or found him at the bar, it goes untouched & unmentioned.

• that was until wallace asked for you phone number when he is drunk. it was really sappy, but he was still nice about it. it makes you happy that wallace isn’t an angry drunk, like whatsoever. he’s just happy to be there and very sleepy. there were a few times where you had to give him over to his place because you didn’t trust him to get there on his own.

• you were always so kind to him, always treating him better than he probably deserved.

• needless to say, it didn’t take long for wallace to think of you in the highest regards. you two even started hanging out outside of the bar where you work at. if he needed something to be picked up, you’ll do it with no questions asked or you would sometimes pay for his coffee if you were out to get yourself a drink too.

— just after a few weeks of knowing you, wallace fell head over heels. and he had it bad.

• of course, he tried to suppress his feelings and tried his damn best to not make it obvious. so, what did our dear wallace do to ensure that? he started to ignore you, partially at least, and became awkward. like…scott pilgrim-level awkward. it’s weird since wallace has always been known to be the complete opposite of his ex-roommate. he’s very easy going, calm, and the voice of reason to many.

• he’s a flirt too. so, why are you having this effect on him? he just couldn’t understand why he suddenly became a bumbling idiot.

• you were worried that you did something to push wallace away, but all your questions were answered when you returned one night to find that he left a drunken message in your answering machine.

— “hey, you know, hic, i've been thinkin', like, a lot. (long pause) and, um, i just wanna say, you're, like, really somethin' special, ya know? (slight slur) i feel all mushy and stuff, but yeah, i kinda, sorta...love you, maybe? (awkward pause) yeah, that's it. hic”

The first ScarViola DLC fic of the blog!!! I'm so hyped to write this arejarjejraje I've gotcha covered, anon! Let's get this party going indeed!

I Love You- "What a brave thing to say for someone so ticklish!"

“Kiki~” Drayton’s croon of his name was followed by nails in his neck, making Kieran squeal and shoot up. “Oh, Champion Kiki~”

“D-Drayton! Stop that!” The smaller boy twisted in his chair with a glare, cheeks hot with embarrassment. The toothpaste-pompadour trainer was grinning at him like a cheshire cat, leaning backwards in his seat with his arms still stretched far towards Kieran. “Hasn’t anyone taught you about personal space?”

“Hmm, I must have missed that lesson. What, I don’t stink, do I?” The dragon-typed elite member reached out to tickle him again, but Kieran was quick to dance out of reach. “Aww, scared of me all of a sudden, oh great Champion Kiki?”

“Call me that again-”

“Or what? I know all your tickle spots.” Drayton wagged his brows, grinning. “I can have you down and out in minutes!”

Kieran glared, eyes narrowing to dangerous slits. Then he hummed, laughing softly to himself. “What a brave thing to say…for someone so ticklish!”

Drayton’s eyes widened- the only thing he could do before Kieran charged him. Diving under outstretched arms, he went right for the older boy’s exposed ribs and pressed in.

“GEHAHA!” The dragon leader squawked out, spasming in his chair as he tried to block out the feeling. Nohooohhoooho! Kiihiihhiihierahhahahaahn!”

“Oh? What happened to “Champion Kiki?” The smaller boy taunted with a grin, strengthening his resolve as he watched Drayton positively crumble. “Where’s all that bravo you’ve been throwing around, huh?”

“Aheahhahahahha! Oohohohoho, yohohohou cheheheheheeky shrihihihihmp! Cohohohme here!” Drayton twisted around to exact revenge, but Kieran was far too fast for him. “AHH! AHehahahahhaha, nohohohoohohoho!”

“Looks like I can beat you in both Pokemon battles and tickling. Oh how the mighty have fallen.” Kieran teased, watching his friend sink to the carpeted floor of the club room, curling into a tight ball as he swatted at his hands. “Let me remind you just how strong I really am!"
