Fun little (little?) doodle of the two blorbos from the two fandoms that have had the biggest fucking impact on my life on/off-line. It's also been way too fucking long since I did a serious doodle of Tron in his Tron Betrayal/Legacy suit and good god, I forgot how fucking ridiculous that goddamn fucking jumpsuit is, but I'm a sucker for lights and lighting up those circuits made me too fucking happy.

I'm not gonna look too deep into how weirdly similar they both are when Tron rezzes his helmet on. Nobody look too deep into this kthnx.

Foul Legacy curled up with you in a nest of blankets, your in your dragon form, your body gently wrapped around his, soft purrs occasionally slipping from both of you. Alternatively, Foul Legacy and you sat in front of a window or on the porch on a sunny day, both of you soaking up as much warmth as you can. In your half human form Foul Legacy loves to touch your horns and bat at your tail, getting all excited whenever he sees the tip of your tail wagging when you see him.

Imagining your an old friend of Zhongli’s and he’s the one who introduces you to Foul Legacy, FL living with him after becoming trapped in the form, and the two of you instantly click. Cold winters the two of you are sprawled out in front of a fire place, Zhongli off somewhere reading, listening to you speak to Foul Legacy, gently massaging his scalp with your clawed hands. You and Foul Legacy convincing Zhongli to come lay with you both and relax and you and Zhongli end up in your dragon forms, curled up on Foul Legacy’s stomach, drifting off to the sound of the fire place and Foul Legacy’s soft purrs.

ohhh imagine your first meeting, in the dead of winter. you always stay at Zhongli's home during the season, since the bitter cold makes it difficult for you to function and the ex-Archon, being a dragon himself, thinks of you as a good friend and doesn't want you to freeze. you make sure to shake the snow off your scales before entering, as Morax- ahem, Zhongli- always prefers to keep a clean house, but your draconic body slithers through the hallways, gradually shrinking and turning into a more humanoid form as you tiredly call out for your friend

you turn the corner and come face-to-face with an Abyssal monster

you stare at Childe. Childe stares at you. and Zhongli turns with an almost awkward chuckle, holding his hands to take the blame

"I intended to introduce you earlier, but..."

you and Childe slowly circle each other, delicately sniffing the air- he smells like Zhongli's house and foreign flowers dusted with starlight- slowly drawing closer and closer until you're sitting on the carpet beside him, matching his intense gaze. Childe leans in to get a better look at you, examining your horns and tail and the patches of scales littering your skin, and tentatively you reach out a hand and pat his fluffy mane of hair

he lets out a small chirp, and you giggle. across the room, Zhongli watches you both, a fond smile on his face as he sees your tail begin to flick happily back and forth

In the immediate aftermath of battle, the professors race further into the foundations of Hogwarts. They daren't focus on the dangerous pickling of magic in the air, or how empty wiggenweld bottles crack underfoot- all that matters is getting to MC and Eleazar. They find them, but in a worse state than anyone could have foreseen. In the weeks that follow, MC struggles to cope with the grief of losing Professor Fig, determined to solider on alone. Repressing that pain has potentially devastating consequences for the secret of Ancient Magic.

When Professor Weasley catches MC, Sebastian, and Ominis sneaking back into the castle after curfew, it seems like only one desperate move might keep them out of serious punishment. Except, before Ominis can even murmur a syllable about his family connections to the Headmaster, MC is speaking, claiming Professor Fig authorised their excursion, and it turns out there's another trump card among their ranks. Afterall, how could a professor argue with another professor?

Ominis didn't usually mind History of Magic. Dull as it was, at least the class gave him a change to get some peaceful sleep for once. It was almost enough to make up for the stinging loneliness that came with the reminder that he was sitting alone, that nobody wanted to sit next to a Gaunt- nobody except Sebastian and once upon a time, Anne.

And maybe, in the light of a newly blossoming friendship, MC.

Death had a way of haunting you, especially when it occurs at your own hands. Sebastian hasn't been the same since that fateful night in the Feldcroft Catacombs, and struggles to come to terms with who he is in the aftermath- his gaze skirted around mirrors, he couldn't trust his own defensive magic, and begins to fade in to himself, steeping in self doubt.

For weeks, MC has felt condemned to watch as Sebastian's thoughts drifted to where they couldn't follow, longing to reach out and help, but feeling lost in knowing where to start.

But maybe it doesn't have to come from them.

And as it happens, they know just the den of unicorns that might be able to help.

Sebastian's concerns for MC's safety are at an all-time high. He's had it with their recklessness, their decision to trust a goblin the final nail in the coffin- if they refuse to listen to reason, insisting on continually endangering themselves, then Sebastian would simply have to take measures into his own hands.

When rumours begin to circulate about their latest exploit (the takedown of an ashwinder base) he's hit with an epiphany. Perhaps the enemy of his friend, could be his ally.

Whatever happened next, at least he'd always know MC was alive, no matter what the cost.

WAIT I just realised that all the overlord centric seasons all follow the naming pattern of singular past tense adjectives. Rebooted, Decoded and Crystalised.

i feel like the show does focus on hunter too much sometimes like. for someone officially introduced in season 2 hes like luz’s deuteragonist now and really he either should have been introduced in season 1 or they should have focused more on gus and willow or both. i love him as a character ofc but the criticisms about too much focus on him is valid i think and even if it would have been more balanced in a longer season 3 it still makes it jarring to see in the show.

but apparently there’s a loud minority saying hunter’s posession and flapjack’s death in thanks to them was “bad writing” because of said focus on hunter Having A Bad Time and how he doesn’t “deserve” to lose flapjack and. um. idk i think those ppl need to realize that “i like this character and get upset when bad things happen to them and this disney tv y7 show went a lot darker than i expected” or “i'm not interested in this character so the heavy focus on them is distracting from the characters i like” is a different criticism from “this character’s suffering is unnecessary to the plot/their character development and therefore bad writing.”

FUCK IT TALKING ABOUT MY AU.

I'm playing around with names but I think I'm going with "Legacy AU" or something similar. Essentially it mixes Kingdomcraft, ESMP 1, and ESMP 2, and takes place during E2. Every ruler gets two sort of guardian spirits, one from E1 and one from KC.

Each trio of rulers is called a Legacy (Ex. Swamp Legacy of KC!Megan, E1!Jimmy, and E2!Shelby), HOWEVER some Legacies get mixed up (Ex. E1!Gem kinda claims E2!Shelby as her own, booting Jimmy off to False).
