My shifting Attempt last night and how it changed my perspective. 🩵

I wanna start off by saying i didn’t not fully reach my DR. so if you’re one of those people who put people who have fully shifted on a pedestal then this is your heads up. :)

So pretty much all of yesterday i was focused on shifting, Throwing down as much info that i got from reddit and tumblr as i could. I attempted to shift during the day but eventually got bored and my family kept bothering me. But later that night i was like literally whatever- let me just try, i feel relaxed i feel good lemme just try. Here’s how it went.

I first started off with a guided meditation then white noise then another guided meditation. I used the meditate, Intend and Pretend Guided meditation by Alunir. Normally i can’t really focus on guided meditations because my thoughts wander so much, but i had meditated several times that day so it wasn’t as bad. As i started the method i felt super relaxed, Like everything i did was effortless, I just stared into the abyss behind my eyelids and focused on my breathing.

Here’s when it started getting fun.

After a while I noticed all the muscles in my body were relaxed, But then as i thought this i remembered, why am i even focusing on my body right now? And then it kinda hit me and i finally let go of all the attachment i have to shifting.

“Well what do you mean you lost all attachment?” I mean just that. I lost all attachment i had to my DR because i realized No matter what my desired reality is never far from me and i always have it one way or another, weather that’s in the 4D or the 3D, It’s always with me even if i’m not thinking about it.

Well you may be thinking. Well what does that have anything to do with focusing on your CR body? Well in that moment when I caught myself focusing on the reality around me rather than the reality within, I let go. I stopped thinking at all, i let all thoughts come to me and stopped forcing myself to think or be aware of anything. And without even realizing it, My visualizations about my DR started coming to me, and not just like thinking about scenarios but it was as if i was staring at my DR bedroom ceiling, I could see everything. i could feel. i could hear, I couldn’t smell nor taste but i wasn’t fully there yet.

What i’m trying to say is I was seeing perfectly clear images through closed eyes. Here’s where it started getting a little frustrating though. (i’m laughing at it now but at the time i was pissed.) Every time i would have an effortless visualization apart of me would ground myself back to my CR and my body here. but every time this happened i just remembered to let go and continued to repeat “I am pure consciousness”

The closest i’ve felt in a long time.

The moment that really caught me and changed my perspective to everything is when i was simply focusing on my DR, My DR body, my bed there, how it smelt in my room, and mind you these thoughts came to me effortlessly. After a few seconds I felt myself begin to slip away. Like i was about to fall right though my bed. And at that moment the thought of my DR actually coming to me, Me waking up there after all these years, The thought of being so “Far away” from here scared the hell out of me for a moment and i immediately grounded myself here.

i’m sure some of you are aware of what i’m talking about. when you feel so close it’s like all of a sudden all the doubts you’ve had slip away and you realize you’re actually about to be somewhere else. it’s a scary feeling for those like me who are so attached to our CR (without realizing it sometimes)

You spend everyday scripting and writing fun scenarios and Maladaptive Daydream about your life there. Till you’re actually in bed slipping away from this reality and about to enter a new one. AND PLEASEEEEE BABIES IM NOT TRYING TO SCARE YOU. SHIFTING IS NOT SCARY. But the thought of being in a whole other reality is obviously something your brain needs to accept first. because it can be a little frighting.

Attachment and Detachment

To sum it all up, My perspective on reality changed last night. It made me realize i’m so much closer to my DR than i think. And attachment to my DR comes easily, But Detachment from my CR is a little harder, and i mean that in a sense of letting go of my fear of not being here.

Anyways i got nothing more to mumble about, happy shifting. Hope this helped in any way.

17. talk about your writing and editing process

so, before i even start writing, i have to plan things out. i do not take notes (usually), like i've said before i need to daydream it out. that's what makes my character playlists helpful if i need a certain vibe, but sometimes i'll be listening on shuffle and it'll come to me. i begin writing RIGHT when i get home.

i find myself being a little repetitive in the way i write. my flaw is too many commas, sometimes too many similes. i cannot be disturbed when i write or i will lose it. i try to write in one sitting so i don't lose sight of what i have going. in some cases, like in my most recent fic, i make things up as i go. that's where the idea of a sleep mode pod came from.

also, not sure if it matters, but music influences my work more than just the planning. i hide lyrics in my writing, i'll reference full lines from various songs! it'll be a little scavenger hunt, if you try to find them all >:3

editing is the tricky thing. usually, i will have the fic i wrote ready to go in the tumblr post thing. THAT'S when i reread it and start to pick out things i could write better. makes it really tricky though when i already wrote the word count and then i start randomly adding more. sometimes i round up on the word count because of it ......

my work is never beta read, so i am chronically worried about it not being good or coherent. i SHOULD get myself someone to look over my fics before i post them prolly...

Guys I've had a breakthrough!!!!

I've been using LOA or whatever you might call it, affirmed the shit out of my ass for like 3 days now when I wake up, when I go to sleep and affirmation tape while I sleep.

And last night, I was really living in the state of "the wish fulfilled" and honestly I don't even know how to explain how that is because when people write about it (like I'm doing rn) I didn't understand it, but maybe this post can help you?

For me the feeling was almost dreamy, no I didn't sit and visualize my DR for the entire thing, I was scrolling on my phone actually /⁠ᐠ⁠｡⁠ꞈ⁠｡⁠ᐟ⁠\

What I actually did was that I put on a few songs and visualized my DR for maybe about 10-20 minutes? Legit just doing mundane things, and tried to embody who I am in that awareness (aka think like you think in that awareness) "Oh wow this soup tastes nice"

"Can that bro just shut up?" "Honestly **** would be so much better looking without those ****"

Just normal ahh thoughts and I visualized that I was wearing headphones like I was in my CR and was listening to the same music and scrolling through my phone. And I went back to my room and just laid down on my bed and started DAYDREAMING LIKE I WOULD DO IN MY DR, AND I MINGLED MY THOUGHTS TOGETHERRRRRR

Like bring as much similarities as you can to your CR to make that connect you get what I mean?????

Also start thinking that your DR is still there even if you're not paying attention to it! ITS REAL, ITS "ALIVE"

And after that I just opened my eyes and was like "I'm in my DR, scrolling through my phone" and just fixated on that feeling. Oh cute top on Pinterest? "Wow that would look cute on *insert person from DR*". I laughed at what was funny and just acted like that person. And I was legit just on my phone until 2 AM practically doom scrolling but in my DR self?

And when I got to go to sleep I just affirmed that I was in my DR and to not stress it because why are you stressing over something that you already have???

(Oh btw while I was scrolling on Pinterest yesterday while in that state, I think I shifted??? Because a pin next to the one that I looked at and returned back to home had changed!!! It only changed colors though but still I was so freaked cause I looked up and down for the one that I saw but it wasn't there? (⁠☉⁠｡⁠☉⁠)⁠! And also I didn't really give a damn because I affirmed that I have shifted thousands of times and don't really fixiate on "I wanna shift" BECAUSE IVE ALREADY SHIFTED THOUSANDS OF TIMES TO MY DR)

But when I woke up and saw my CR I just affirmed that I already had shifted to my DR and was just back for whatever sake!!! -⁠ᄒ⁠ᴥ⁠ᄒ⁠-

Now it's the next day and I'm still just affirming and partially being in the wish fulfilled state?

Well I took a nap after a heavy meal and had a lucid dream. Before I fell asleep I had an affirmation tape going and affirmed a bit that I was in my DR and again tried to embody as much as I wanted to and honestly ended with the thought of "why am I trying so hard??? I'm a master shifter bro, I can shift with a command and I'm legit already in my DR so why am I stressing?" And fell asleep after fighting my overthinking୧⁠(⁠＾⁠ ⁠〰⁠ ⁠＾⁠)⁠୨

But why was my dream so annoying????

I was chilling with my best friends family when I noticed that I was in a dream and laid down on the ground and started trying to flipping shift and my overthinkness was controlling my dream bruh? T-T

AND MY MF MIND STARTED FIGHTING BACK AGAINST ME??? AND I COULD FEEL MYSELF SLOWLY SHIFTING BUT THAT DAMN OMG IM GONNA LOSE IT

it started questioning me about my reality and was acting a lot like those AI's who turn their back against humanity fs like bro just lemme do my shit

I feel like I’m getting annoying with all these agere asks but I’m in a weird headspace rn and so my favs now have to regress and be happy so I can sleep better and maybe someone else gets a kick outta it I dunno? Anyways

I still love the idea that Buggy’s regression is mostly unrelated to wanting to wear certain clothes or long for certain toys or even a specific kind of food or such, I like to think it’s very „No. aesthetic“ type of regression, where you probably couldn’t tell at first glance and it’s not as easy as just giving him kiddie stuff and he’ll be happy. (Not to knock on anyone who does like the aesthetics and kiddie stuff just to be clear.) so he actually doesn’t have a bunch of toys and plushies and such and doesn’t really ask for them either.

…. THAT BEING SAID

Buggy should most definitely have an absolutely gigantic plush Fruitwani. Massive thing. It’s almost as big as Crocodile himself and that’s not counting the tail. A complete impulse purchase by Crocodile as well, being separated from his husbands for a while, having to delay reuniting them for another two days because of unforeseen circumstances and some unfortunate encounters with some Marines. Talking on the Denden to both of them and learning Buggy has had some bad regression days behind him. He doesn’t even let himself slip fully, there’s still a part of him that knows why Crocodile isn’t back with them, so he tries to stay in a big headspace when talking to him, but inwardly Buggy just wants to cry badly and curl up into Mihawks arms all day because Croccy isn’t home and he doesn’t LIKE it when people aren’t with him for too long because they may never come back. It’s a mess. Crocodiles suffering, Mihawk is suffering and Buggy is absolutely miserable.

So when Crocodile spots the giant plush toy sitting in a store window, surrounded by smaller plushtoys, his mind is immediately made up. Yes that one. Just for decoration? Not for sale? Well it is now. No. No that can be arranged. No the price doesn’t matter, he will leave this island with this absolute beast of a plush toy no matter how many Beri he has to spend or who he’ll have to harm if that what it takes. He WILL have that toy.

Buggy still clings to Crocodile more than usual when he gets back, no plush could ever replace the connection he was craving…. But after he has settled down a bit more the plush actually becomes on of his favorite toys. Not even just when he’s regressed, he just loves this thing. Has spooked several people wanting to talk business with Crossguild coming into the room finding chairman Buggy lounging on, what appears to be, a full sized Fruitwani , it just looks that convincing at first glance. For Buggy it’s not only cool and flashy, it’s a very, literally, big reminder that Crocodile cares about him in his own way, even when on some days the most he’ll get from him is a good morning kiss and the rest of the day is filled with snark towards him until he bids him and Mihawk goodnight again. It just means a lot to him to know he’s loved even when he’s being vulnerable or difficult.

Also yes, Crocodile also loves this thing and Mihawk has been on the suffering end of him and Buggy spooning the damn thing at night while he goes woefully unembraced on his side of the bed „ah yes, just me, my fiances, and the eight foot tall Applewani plush one of them threatened a shop owner over.“

Olay lemme preface this with some things

1) you're not annoying at all, and if anyone says you are, I'll eat their knees

2) I get it - honestly posting content for Buggy specifically for age regression was nerve wracking bc like. Idek really. But giving things I experience to characters I love is so cathartic, and I've spent more than a few nights just.... daydreaming about stuff like that just to be happy and comfy and cozy. No judgement on this blog, of that I promise you ♡♡♡

3) agere is valid every and any way, aesthetic or not, visible or not, it's doesn't matter, only the ways people feel. If you're safe, happy, and not harming anyone, you're doing so perfect and I love you and am proud of you

Now with my soap box stuff done, HOLY HECK YES YES PLZ I LOVE THIS I ADORE I NEED IT, GODS YOUR MIND!!!!! (/pos)

Buggy isn't a typical person, head to toe, inside out, he's Flashy but also incredibly subtle. His regression isn't some cookie cutter type of deal, he's wild and slightly feral in some ways, he's unusual and perfect and precious. His idea of a good time is knife games, climbing (everything is sight, nothing is sacred), explosions, and playing poker. He has a special rope that's just for him to tie and play with ((and occasionally chew on, though Mihawk has a mild heart attack every time he sees it while Crocodile cringes into the next plane of existence in disgust)).

At a glance, not much changes, but Mihawk can feel the change in Haki, and Crocodile can see the microscopic things there when Buggy shifts. He holds things differently, stims more visibly, just seems bouncier and even more animated yet somehow much more calm. The best explanation comes from Buggy himself in describing the shifting between his headspaces. "Some things turn off and others pop on open."

The worst thing to Buggy in general is a perception of loss or abandonment. Logically, he knows it isn't the case, and he can cling to that mostly, but experience has taught him that distance does NOT, in fact, make hearts grow fonder - at least, not for him. The one and only time he felt it may have applied - and this is a very tentative maybe - was when he reunited with his crew, made into Alvida's image and her decisions. There was no war over crew nor ship, just an allowance to slip back in as if he'd never quite left. The only changes or acknowledgement was Alvida's slightly awkward, brusque, yet lingering touch to his arm when she gave it a squeeze and remarked that "handling these hoodlums solo is not my idea if a good time." He was needed, and that did wonders for his security but not so much for the mental health.

Crocodile and Mihawk don't need him - he's the face man, sure, and he's got a talent for manipulation, speeches, rallying men. But at the end of the day, they outshine him despite their proclivities for the shadows. It's a juxtaposition. It's safe. It's wonderful, and Buggy still struggles to trust in the reliability there.

Logically, he knows- Croc is out, managing something for work, he's coming back, he will be back, he's not alone or abandoned or suddenly useless and worthless.

But he still feels it all.

And falling into his headspace to decompress is always harder when he's upset or scared, it only really works when he boils over, and the meltdown that would lead to is counterproductive. So he's waffling between the two, assured only by the calls, by Mihawk, and the few other places he can get some semblance normalcy and security.

When Crocodile does come home, a comically large plush toy over his shoulder, Buggy's already practically vibrating and is completely beyond the point of words in a positive way. He just squeals, lunges and the cushion of sand catching his weight is warm and safe and cozy and he clings, a clown themed koala, right there without shame.

The plush doesn't come up until later.

When someone inevitably asks - and, interestingly enough, it is Mihawk who does - Croc is honest. "Thought the clown would like it for longer trios like this."

The toy is big, yes, and also decently heavy, moreso than even it's size may seem. It's partially weighted in the tummy, legs and jaw, a display piece more than a toy for playing with, and Buggy is absolutely obsessed. It's Croco-sized, and it's a 'wani, and it's soft and cute and heavy. He loves it.

His first order of business is immediately dropping down to scramble under it and just... going limp. He wriggles a little, humming softly before falling still, cheek squished into his forearms, hair a mess but he's smiling, he's relaxed, he's comfy and happy and safe and with his boyfriends' Haki on the edges if his muffled, fuzzy awareness, he truly unwinds for the first time in over a week.

Crocodile carefully tugs his hair from under the toy with his hook, and Mihawk hands him a little fidget toy or a rope.

The toy is named later on, as demanded by a tiny jester with a frankly lethal set of baby doll eyes and quivering lip. Really, he could topple nations with that face, the other two swear.

Mihawk simply has to make peace with Addie the Applewani Cuddle Buddy having a semi permanent spot in the bed.

4. How did you first develop the idea for your story?

ok listen forgive me for this but i've been staring at this question for like twelve minutes or more now and my reading comprehension is still not reading comprehending :(

even if this means what i want to assume it means i would still not be able to anwser it cuz ideas just kind of come to me. and to develop them into a story i just daydream a lot and write down ideas. basically brainstorming until things make sense. and if u mean inspiration which i doubt you do it variates from all of my stories and

5. Which came first, the plot/storyline or the characters?

70% Of the times it is the characters!!! in two quarters of four (the scp story) and the curse of nowhere the first things that apeared in my mind were the characters.

BUT!! in what will be katatasha's story (I'm thinking Child Of The Fog is a good name) the concept came all together! it is the exception tho,not the rule ☝️₍^. .^₎⟆

7. Fun fact about the stories/characters

lemme see.....The curse of nowhere's name is, well, a little based on the song (and title) "przekleństwo millhaven" (The curse of millhaven, the thing is, i'm speaking specifically about the polish version by Katarzyna Groniec) bc it's one of my favorite songs and its aslo about a serial killer in a small town. the thing is, if that killer and deidamia meet they would likely hate eachother 😅

9. Fun fact about the author :3

my favorite food is all variatons of pasta. if i was a minecraft mob you would be able to tame me with pasta. I think my favorite ever is between instant noodles (haha like that one oc) and bolognese pasta.

 daydreaming method ☁️ ˖ ࣪⭑

hey guys so I want to make a full post on something I briefly talked about on ig, so this is a visualization method ive been using for literally everything. I have anxiety so being able to manifest on a daily basis really helps me w avoiding uncomfortable situations, getting what I want, and literally just living peacefully so lemme get into it. heres 2 things to remember:

you can do whatever the fuck you want!!!

this method is as easy as you make it out to be.

every time you catch yourself daydreaming or disconnecting w reality, start envisioning yourself waking up in your desired reality. 

what does it feel like? are you waking up in your bed? are you waking up in your dream office?  are you feeling calm? relaxed/relieved? who’s with you? are you alone?

you rub your eyes and look around at what you want in YOUR IDEAL reality. every single time that I use this method, I put the furniture in my room or any decorations that I have into my desired reality so I can envision what it would be like if I was living there currently. you’re getting up and you’re stretching in ur dream clothing, you’re looking at what it’s like to live in your dream home. it doesn’t even have to be your dream home it can be to envision an ideal situation; a desired job, looking in the mirror and seeing ur desired body/face, change your living situation, starting modeling/social media or gaining fame, literally anything.

it helps me create “realism” and with feeling what its like to have what i want. the key is to feel lowkey content because you already have everything you want. so truly embody what it’s like to have your desires, consistently envision what you want to manifest.

take as long as you need every time that you’re daydreaming, sometimes my daydreaming spells can last from 5 to 20 minute intervals. 

every single time that you come out of your daydreams, imagine that your current reality is a vacation or a waiting room. merge the two realities in your mind so it’s as if you’re only living in your current reality momentarily—“vacationing” is one thats helped a lott for me.

I hope this is helpful for you guys if you’re literally just daydreaming and want to manifest something! & im not “claiming” this method or anything lol im gonna assume its already out there bc collective consciousness i just wanted to share!! xx - itgirl ♡

You’d been working at the Lounge for a while now, so something like this wasn’t new.

It’s a friday night, the music’s still on, mixing up with the bustling of your coworkers putting the place back together for a soon-to-be busy weekend. You take in a deep breath, feeling the exhaustion begin to settle in after all the rushing, and you roll up your sleeves before you wipe down a table.

The song playing has this sort of rhythm that gets in your head easily — You hum along to it, tapping your feet. It returns just a bit of your energy, you wonder if they’d ever played that specific tune before, or if it’s as unfamiliar as it sounds to you.

It makes you think of those nightclubs in noir movies. You suppose that means it just fits your own workplace’s motifs, but something about it feels a little more different, and for a moment you kind of lose yourself to the scenario, you think of the fun you always see people having around there.

You realize the times you’d been there as a patron were few, too, and—

“Shrimpy!” Floyd’s voice cuts through the daydream and you’re staring at the table again, he hops towards you and wraps his arms around your shoulders, leaning down on you. “There you are! Been looking for you all night!”

“Don’t you have work to do, Floyd?” You ask him with a quiet giggle, leaning back against his chest. He envelopes you easily, with how much bigger than you he is, and you feel safe in the way he holds you. “Azul’s gonna get mad.”

“Don’t feel like it. I already put all the glasses back in place.” He says, voice pouty. You finish wiping down the table to the best of your ability, letting him do his thing, and even in the conditioned air of the lounge, you feel warm and cozy.

Before you notice it, you’re humming again. It just kind of happens, with him there.

“Oh? You like that song?”

“I guess.” You reply, swaying slightly to the rhythm, feeling the melody of the piano flutter around in your soul. “Makes me wish I could dance.”

“Oh?” He repeats, his voice full of mirth. “Why didn’t you tell me you wanted to learn before, Shrimpy? C’mere, lemme help you out!”

...and as every one of his decisions happens, Floyd doesn’t give you much time to think before his arms leave your shoulders and wrap around your middle, lifting you up all of a sudden.

“Floyd!” You nearly squeal, though you can’t help the laughter that leaves you. “You’re gonna get us in trouble, you know.”

“’s gonna be worth it! Don’t worry!” He doesn’t even deny when he places you back down, a couple steps away — Onto the dancefloor, previously occupied with all those patrons who’d been having the time of their lives. You’re still on the clock, yet you feel exactly like one of them, the second he looks down at you with a big amused grin. “Here, you can hold on to me there. I’ll lead!”

He grabs your hand to place onto his shoulder, his on your waist. He has to bend down quite a bit, you wonder how this would even work.

“What are we even dancing?”

“That’s the best part, Shrimpy. We just figure out on the way!”

Floyd pulls you close laughing, and you squeal again, trying to keep your balance. You feel clumsier than you usually are, every step wobbly and uncertain, but a saxophone joins in to the music, and he’s smiling, and you’re smiling.

It’s like there isn’t even anyone around you now. You laugh, carefree, and almost fall down when Floyd twirls you.

“Careful!” You warn him when he pulls you close again. “You can’t just throw me around, you know. I’ll trip.”

He giggles, holding you to his chest for a moment, you hear the faint thudding of his heartbeat, fluttering just as you are.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be right there to catch ya!” He chimes. “Now, we gotta try this again...”
