ideal tacomic to me is Pits in both of their stomachs manifested as thoughts of one another they cant erase no matter how much they try to move on,theey repress them for different reasonts though.To me its like.

Mic represses them bc she haets taco and just wants to move on with her life-To stop thinking about her shitty decisions during her time in the competition. she hates that she still thinks about taco allathis time later when shes in a much better place both physically and mentally

taco represses them bc she does not know what to do with them and in true taco fashion if u dont knpw how to handle your feelings just bottle them up forever (Guatanteed to work)(TRUST ME). she has 0 outlet no mepad doesnt count bc that out let is microphone and mic has made it clear she wants nothing to do with taco. Which taco will adhere to bc i think she respects mic more than she respects herself, which,In and of itself is not a very high bar to clear bc taco is filled to the brim with self loathing (and lettuce and taomato) so she would respect mics boundaries...and just rot.

in the neural network time line i nmy head theres some point along it where taco DOES try to reconcile with mic!but it doesnt end well. mic tells her to leavee her alone. dont talk to me? (sighs) do whatever schemes you gotta do but leave me out of them, okay? i want nothing to do with you anymore. fnd taco goes Ok bchwat else is she suppsoed to say to that.NO? she might try to push back in a fit of desperation upon seeing how the meeting is going (diseasedly) getting real vulenerable which would make anyone who has even the slightest intnetion of giving taco another chance fold but mic isnt like other girls and has a sense of self preservation. in an attempt of pushing for closure taco ends up pushing mic further away than she already was, which already seemed impossible (reached the limit, apparently not). when taco sees that shes done the impossible + the futility of this meeting has fully shown itself to her thats when she dips (sih of relief from mic)(proceeds to punch a hole in the wall bc watching her leave hurt for a reason she knows but doesnt want to acknowledge)

taco then doesnttt try again. tying in with her perceived incapability of starting over. welp it didnt work theres no reason to ever try again haha shucks gues thems the breaks for me or whatever british version that translates to. she has maybe one more shot with pickle and if that goes well (hmm) then theres a crumb of hope for happy tacomic ending? pickle speaks good on taco and plants that seed of forgiveness in mic to unwind those tangled roots of hatred and spite in her stomach that have knotted over so much time. but in order for anything to come of that taco would have to come face to face with mic again and i think shed rather die

From the authors I follow on ao3, writing on the site is their passion project. Most don't want to be published writers, they want to have fun with characters and scenarios.

From the notes on their works, it's not that they don't mind constructive critisism, they just don't like unsolicited constructive critisism. They post their works to ao3 for people to enjoy and if they want tips for their writing, they'll start discord servers with other writers in the fandom.

And yes, if you're reading fanfiction and not liking the fics, you're not reading the ones that are right for you. I would suggest looking at the tags, identifying the ones you don't like, and then blacklisting them in the ao3 search.

Saw this comment on a booktok and I'm wondering what y'all think. I take issue with the idea that if you do want criticism on your writing then you shouldn't post it online. Not everyone writes, especially fanfic, to improve. "Most of these fic authors want to be published authors" no I don't think they do actually, writing fanfic can be about improving your skills to become a professional author; but it can also be about engaging in community or IDK putting your fav characters into situations???

I personally don't leave criticism on ao3, I wouldn't mind it on my work if it was said politely.

"I get these fic writers are writing for free" yes, so you're not entitled to anything from them... if you can't read fanfic without wanting to give criticism then you either aren't reading fics that are right for you or you shouldn't be reading at all.

Heeeey! I'm currently hyperfixating on rottmnt sooooo... I'd like to request a scenario (if you don't want to do this, it's totally fine) in which reader has celiac disease and/or is lactose intolerant. Sooo they can't eat pizza with the guys! Maybe reader eats pizza with them anyways and gets super sick and tries to hide it (badly). In the end, reader cracks and tells the boys about their dietary restrictions . After that maybe something cutesy in which reader teaches Mickey some gluten-free recipies and they cook together. Or Raph goes all overprotective after learning about it and "cross-contamination" is his new favourite word like "CAREFUL Y/N that piece of letuce is in a plate that contained mac and cheese 3 weeks ago, it might be cross contaminated!!!" Lol Idk... I'm just bitter that pizza is my digestive system's natural enemy and I need some cheering up from my favourite turtles.

You got sick once. Once.

You had tried to feel included by eating some pizza and had immediately regretted it. Not only because of the pain but because of your turtle friends’ reactions.

You think you might’ve triggered Raph’s OCD. That guy obsessed over the dishes now, fearful of any plate or bowl that may have something that triggered your stomach issues. He would stare at you as you ate, constantly asking how you felt.

It was a really nice bonding moment between you and Mikey. He learned a lot from you and you two cooked together often now. He was really the only one who took the information in like a normal person. He often made you safe food to eat whenever you came over so you didn’t have to worry.

Unfortunately, the last two were… odd.

“You’re not cleaning it hard enough!” Leo grabbed the bowl from Donnie who held onto it tightly to prevent him from stealing it.

“I am cleaning it just fine, Nardo!” He tugged it back and they started a tug of war. Over a plate.

You and Mikey glanced at each other, unsurely. Raph was biting his claws, a nervous wreck as he watched the plate. “There was mac and cheese on that last week… Or was it a salad? No, it had to be mac and cheese.”

“Raphy, I’m sure it’s fine…” You patted his shoulder. It did nothing to reassure him.

As expected, the two turtles ended up dropping the plate and shattering it on the floor.

“Maybe it was for the best!” Raph relaxed. At least he’d never have to worry about that plate again. But what about the all the other plates they had? He tensed up just thinking about it. He should make a chart or a list… Or…

“Raph, why not just get a few plates and keep them separated and only let them use it, if you’re so stressed about it?” Mikey suggested while you tried to protest. They shouldn’t buy new plates for you—

Not only does he get new dishes and new forks and spoons, Raph gets an entire new fridge for food for you.

Well, you’ll never have to worry about the food here ever again.

ya, they especially deserve stateship since people living in Puerto Rico have been U.S. citizens since 1917 (PR was aquired from spain in 1898) (Guam is in a very similar situation)

also, even though Puerto Rico can't vote in official elections, they host their own each election cycle and it's a civil holiday! (making it easier for everyone to vote)

to avoid clogging reblogs, Puerto Rico being added as a state would be a good thing b/c currently they are a territory of the U.S.

So they need to pay taxes to the U.S. but they can't vote for president and their representatives in congress/senate don't have a vote either
