Itadori cocks an eyebrow, “Uh…can you repeat your idea?”

The black-haired teen sighs. “We should plan a date for our sensei. Not Gojo, but you know…”

Since you and Nanami had returned from your mission, everyone got to see just how happier you two were. You both returned to being the cutesy couple that everyone had thought you were previously.

Things were a little more passionate. Kento still treated you as his work wife. Peeling oranges for you as a snack, bringing you lunch and coffee when you need it most, giving you a shoulder rub. You enjoyed teasing him lightly, making jokes with him, and returning the shoulder rubs.

But there was something different. You two had found a deep love and understanding. Truly, your relationship sparked even more than it ever had. And the teens had picked up on that rather quickly. Fushiguro sighs, “I don’t know. It seems like it could happen. I think maybe he’s ready to make that commitment with her.”

Itadori rubs his chin, “I already thought they were married…”

Gojo claps his hands together, an idea forming inside his mind. He knows it’s going to require a lot of finessing, and a little bit of luck. But regardless, even if this plan doesn’t go exactly as planned, it should still be good.

“Gather round, youngsters. I have a good idea.”

All three of his students look at themselves for a moment, unsure of how to even respond. But then they realize that maybe Gojo-sensei will have an actual good idea for once.

Kento decided to make dinner reservations for the both of you, though strangely enough Gojo had surprised him with some already made for both of you.

Kento was skeptical about the whole ordeal, but for once he decided to let it go. He decided to just enjoy the little gift that was bestowed on you both.

“Get ready for seven, love.” Kento whispers in your ear.

And you weren’t lying. When he picks you up, his eyes widen and his cheeks redden. You were the epitome of beauty and loveliness. If Kento thought he couldn’t fall deeper for you, he was sorely wrong. He takes your hand in his as he guides you to the car.

He then realizes that everyone is here to make sure he does this. They are making sure things go off without a hitch. No hiccups, no errors. Kento sighs as he tries to reason with himself. It wasn’t the worst thing in the world, as long as they didn’t interrupt.

“Darling,” Kento takes your hands across the table. “I have to tell you just how much I love you.”

Your eyes sparkle, “I love you too, Ken.”

But then he stops himself. He was about to reveal his secret. You look at your lover even more confused than before. 

“Did he do it?! What did she say!?” Nobara asks, her eyes focused on the couple at the booth.

“I don’t think he did it. Sensei, can you hear?” Itadori asks.

Then it dawns on you and Nanami. Gojo is with the teens as well. He’s the one who orchestrated the whole affair. Kento looks like he’s about to lose his cool, but then he turns his attention to you.

Heyyyy! This is fun so I’m happy to do it! These will be taking place after the events of any given Hakuouki route. I ended up making something a bit softer for you Kazama fans.

Hijikata: Oh….well, that was to be expected. The two of you had been married for hire a while now so of course you’d fall pregnant. His first instinct is to worry about the future of said child. However, he’s sure that you would be an excellent parent. You always took care of those around you and cared deeply for he and his men back in the day- that was pretty good experience. While he is nervous, he’d end up a pretty good dad- albeit a little bit of a tough one. If you have a daughter, he’s notably softer with her. However, he’s very protective of any children he has. Sometimes, they get a little loud and it’s a bit too much for him so he retreats for a moment to compose himself. He’s a bit better when he comes back. His kids will race to cuddle with him and effectively butter him up a bit so he really doesn’t mind them in the long run. He’s wrapped around their little fingers.

Okita: Huh? He’s taken by surprise for a moment but, then, a huge smirk spreads across his face. So, you wanted his baby that bad? He’s glad he could finally give it to you. I kind of think you’d have to be a bit patient with Souji haha. He’d really like to have a cute, little daughter at some point. He strikes me as a girl dad. Like, Hijikata, he’s fiercely protective of any kids he has and of his lover, the parent of them. If someone dares to criticize them to any capacity, they better start running because Souji is going to make them regret it. He definitely would name his son after Kondou, the person he admires the most. He’d want to raise his kid to be a lot like Kondou-San, only for them to end up a lot like Souji in temperament and naughtiness- the universe’s way of getting payback for the many times he’s teased or bullied someone.

Saitou: His face grows so so red. He understands how it happened but he was not prepared for this. His heart beats rapidly in his chest at the mere thought of having a child. He doesn’t outwardly say much about it but he’s incredibly worried that he wouldn’t make a good father. You figure this out, and make sure to reassure him that he’s so fine. Admittedly, you might have to show him the ropes when it comes to caring for a baby’s needs, but he gets the hang of it. He likes to spend alone time with his baby, softly talking to it when he thinks you don’t notice.

Heisuke:

“WHAT?!”

Heisuke is absolutely flabbergasted. He is taken completely by surprise despite his particularly high libido. You remind him what exactly the two of you do when your alone and how he’s not exactly the best at pacing himself- often resulting in….a mess. He goes to protest but then recalls some particularly intimate moments between you too and starts blushing madly. He sheepishly grins and mutters a “congratulations”. Heisuke would be a super hands on dad! He’d probably end up with a good amount of kids- maybe even twins that he proudly keeps strapped to his chest and back when he’s out and about. He’s totally the type to be like “what’s cuter than one baby?” only to spin around and reveal his second one. “TWO babies!” He says excitedly. The guy has a ton of energy and stamina so he can keep up really well with his brood of children. He loves coming home and playing with them, swinging them around in his arms and tossing them into the air.

Harada: This guy was trying to get you pregnant haha. It was something the two of you agreed on after things settled down for you after the war. He definitely was happy to hear that he’s finally be a father, his wish to marry and start a family finally becoming a reality. Sano is a girl dad for sure. I imagine he has a lot of daughters, all of which he’s spoiled rotten. They’re all just so cute and so is his beautiful spouse! He can’t tell them no- that is unless what they want to do is particularly dangerous or bad. He’s very good at getting them to stop crying when they are sad and is always doting on them when he’s home. This doesn’t mean he up and forgets about you, he still sets aside time for you and makes sure to spend time with you whenever he has a moment, much to his daughters disgust. He doesn’t like when boys take notice in his girls- it pisses him off. He doesn’t go out of his way to be scary, just makes it known that he’s watching and that if anything happened to a hair on their head, he’d lose it. He trusts his girls so he tries to let them handle things but in the same vain, it takes a lot of restraint on his part to remain calm when they’re finally being romantically pursued.

Shinpachi: He’d probably have one. He’s definitely surprised and it takes him a second to put two and two together. I think he’d be calmer than expected about it. If anything, you might be more nervous than him. He’s like a big, giant kid himself. He really loves playing with them and carrying the kid around, showing his glorious physique off to you and his offspring. Dude is a total show off to you and his kid- he does everything he can to make them think he’s cool. His kid DOES think he’s cool. He’s the kind of dad that is called “Papa”. He’s a very proud and affectionate Papa. The guy’s a teddy bear and can NOT handle when his kid cries or is hurt. It breaks Shinpachi’s heart into a million pieces and it takes everything in him to not cry right along with them. You tease him about this, softly kissing his cheek and apologizing when he protests. He’s always down to put the kid to sleep, often napping right along with them. His kids (and maybe you) are the only people he’d ever share food with, making sure that they are fed enough to grow big and strong like him.

Sannan: I kind of don’t think he’d have a kid. He isn’t exactly against them but he’s also not too interested in having one. This doesn’t mean he wouldn’t take responsibility for one and also like the one he has. It’s just that he didn’t plan for one. I think though that he’d be okay with like one kid. His kid would probably be very well behaved actually. He doesn’t spoil them but I think he’s spend quality time with them by teaching them things like swordsmanship, calligraphy, and other scholarly things. His kid would be very smart and he’d be very proud of that. He’s kind of scary when he’s reprimanding his kid- especially if they’re being particularly naughty to you, his spouse. He would want many opportunities for his kid.

Yamazaki: He probably knew you were with child before you did. He’s sit you down and explain his suspicions to you and would arrange for a doctor to have a look at you for a secondary opinion. Although, he is certain that you are going to be having his baby. He’s actually not too worried about it. He doesn’t know much about being a father but he does understand the basics about what a person needs to survive a long and happy life so he applies that knowledge to his kids. I’m bringing back the ninja thing and I think he has this game where he pretends to be a ninja yet again and will pretend to slay his children, encouraging them to be active. It’s really funny to watch him chase them around the house and flip the tatami mats from under their feet. At first, you think they’re hurt when they fall on their behinds but you find that your child/children is/are surprisingly resilient. You suspect that it’s because he makes sure they are in peak health. Yamazaki’s main concern is that you and his child are happy and healthy. Other than that, he doesn’t have a lot of harsh expectations for them. Just that they take care of themselves, are kind, and work hard.

Iba: He’s excited. Very excited! Iba (who’s name keeps autocorrecting as IBS, just so you know) He spoils them rotten, a big fan of dressing them up. He also can’t help but pick up toys for them when he’s in town, much to your dismay because they already have too many. Still, he has a lot of fun watching them play as you sit beside him, running his fingers through your hair. He likes holding them in his lap and they almost always fall fast asleep there. It’s like a magic trick he can do. If you’re having trouble settling them down for the night, he intervened and gets them too sleep with no trouble. His kids can somewhat manipulate him in to doing things or sneaking them extra treats. You have to get on him for spoiling them so much but you can’t help but appreciate how much he adores his kids.

Sakamoto: You probably have like one kid with him….and it’s a rowdy little boy. The kid is super wild and is all over the place. He likes to burn ants with a magnifying glass and Sakamoto is supposed to reprimand him for it but he usually ends up doing it right along with his son, finding the kids maniacal laughter amusing. He likes this spicy side of his kid, thinks it gives him character. That being said, the little guy is exhausting to keep up with. He’s always having to chase him down and grab him up from incoming wheelbarrows being pushed by. If it were modern times, you might wanna invest in a leash. He thinks his kid is really funny and just likes to listen to him babble about whatever nonsense his son is interested in at the time. He also entertains his tall tales. However, he will crack down if the kid has driven you a bit too nuts during a day and will send you off to get some much needed rest. You come back to find him scrubbing your kid down after he had somehow became covered in mud. He doesn’t explain how your son got like that, looking rather disheveled. He definitely had a lot of respect for you for raising him.

Souma: He’s over the moon but also Kazue can’t help but feel the weight of the world on his shoulders. He does his absolute best to follow along with your instructions when it comes to raising them. He messes up a lot at first but eventually gets the hang of it. The entire time, he’s in awe of you and your ability to do the things you do. He tries really hard to provide for your family and will take whatever work he can to bring food to the table. He loves coming home to the both of you and kisses all over your faces. He really enjoys being a dad actually and takes pride in how well his child is growing up. He couldn’t care less about the kids interests or dreams, just happy that they have them. Really supportive of everything his kid does.

Kazama: He’s definitely pleased. He doesn’t always act it, but he admires you greatly- especially after truly getting to know you. He smirks and insists that this is just the first of many children. Any worries you might express about becoming a parent are brushed away as he insists that you would be a perfectly suitable mother to his children. He actually doesn’t know a lot about babies and it is eye opening to say the least about all of the things babies need in order to grow. He’s kind of in awe with your ability to keep up with so many things, your oni and motherly instincts really shining as you always seem to know when something is up with your kids. He’s very proud of his children and shows them off all the time, often insisting that they are better than other people’s kids and saying that their parents haven’t the slightest bit of an understanding on parenting. You kind of do most of the work as he believes it’s your place but he will step in to lay down the law if they are being bad. His voice is surprisingly soothing to his children so he will talk to them until they fall asleep. This also can help calm them when they are crying. In front of others, he isn’t too affectionate to them or you but that is a whole other story when you are alone. He likes for you or his children to nap on his lap as he gazes out the window at night. He likes having you all nearby where he knows that you are safe. If someone even thinks about hurting or badmouthing his precious oni wife and children, they’re as good as dead. He actually talks a lot with his kids, something that surprises you. He checks in with them and bluntly asks about their feelings or plans for the future. He’d ask about whatever game they were playing and how it works and he will also intently listen to whatever story they are coming up with. He thinks that this would help build confidence, something that they’ll need as they grow. When they’re older, he’ll probably teach them about their heritage and how to utilize their abilities as oni.

I feel like he’s also the type to be the first to spot things before you. Like when you have a contraction and think “oh it’s just a cramp, or they’re just stretching”

“Yea the cramp, lasted about 3 minutes. You’re in labor mama” and he’d come and pet your belly like a dad does to the dog

Ans he was right🧍🏽‍♀️ you’re in early labor. He’s got the doula on hold and let her know you started early but still too early for her to come. I think he’s the type to document it because it’s such an intimate experience. Not graphically but like candid shots definitely

At first you were both joking about it and watching your stomach stretch and timing it and going “that was different that time” they were too bad at the start. But after a couple of hours he noticed it was starting to get to the part no one rlly liked. The one where pain was too much to ignore, when you had to really focus on it cuz it was intense. The part where he had to be your rock and hold you and support you.

Between contractions he tried to get you to sleep to have some kind of rest even though you weren’t really getting any.

So now it’s his role to step up and be your support physically, emotionally and mentally. He knows birth can take a toll on women in more ways then one and who was he not to support and be there for you???

On top of that no medication, you both went into this knowing you wouldn't have the option for epidural.

“Squeeze my hand baby you got this”

“Where do you need me?”

“You want me to just hold you?”

“Breathe in…and out baby. Good just like that”

You both agreed on a water delivery so he had gotten you the best most expensive pool possible. By the time the doula got there you had been in active labor for about 4’hours now. She did be usual check up for heart rate and dilation, you were only at 3 cm at that moment do you had some ways to go.

He’d would walk around the house with you, hand your hands while you used the yoga ball or tried to distract you with some singing, which at one point worked very well. After some strong waves he’d wipe you tears away and give you some water

“I know princess, but you did so good. So strong” he knew his words could have only so much effect on the situation but he was doing everything he was able to do for you. He helps get you in the pool and used a small towel to wash warm water down your back.

“We’re super close babe…what do you think it’s gonna be?” You wanted the sex to be a surprise and you were back and forth with old wives tales

While he was being weighed and measured Noah helped you get out of the tub and into the shower. He helped get you cleaned up and dressed. After your son was cleaned and swaddled he was brought to you both for some skin to skin and feeding.

And I can do them all! I just can’t do my mini story time. It would get too repetitive since it’s the same scenario. Usually do it with two separate ones at most (minus poly relationships of course. Those are an exception). I hope that’s all right!

Lust:

* I imagine this guy is a major flirt and tease but is an absolute sucker for domestic stuff. Like one time you just decided to, I don’t know, make him lunch one day! This boy was a MESS. He’d tease that he’d rather eat you for lunch but his soul is beating so fast. You made him feel special and truly cared for even if it was something as small as that.

* So when you had that nightmare and you had your arms out for him to cuddle with you, he fucking MELTED. My god what are you DOING to this guy? No one should be this cute!!! He couldn’t hold in his flustered state at that moment. He’s probably not used to cuddles so you might be his first!

* And if you’re ever having trouble sleeping, he’s quick to catch on. He’ll have you in his arms at bed time. No like it don’t matter WHAT you’re doing. Project? Homework? Nope. He’s dragging dat ass to bed. You need sleep!

* His cuddles are so….intimate. He makes you feel so special once in his arms. Playing with your hair, playfully teasing you but also complimenting every little detail about you, his dopey face as he gazes down at you. He’s favorite cuddle positions is the face-to-embrace and especially the sweetheart cuddle. All the more reason to leave kisses all over your face.

* This guy may be a flirt but his soft, romantic side really shines through during these moments. (Though if you want to fluster him more, definitely tease him during these moments. Definitely worth it.)

Dream:

* He’s usually busy but makes sure to spend as much time as he can with you when the opportunity rises. Though sometimes he neglects his own health (stubborn boi-). Multiple times you have to force his non-existent ass to bed yourself. But you always appreciate how much he cares for you!

* Whenever a nightmare appears, he’s quick to enter your dreamworld and protect you. Upon waking up you put your arms out for him and his face was just pure adoration. He pulls you to his chest and comforts you, singing a soft tune and lulling you back to sleep.

* Now if you’re the one being the stubborn one with sleeping (or just generally having issues sleeping) he’ll be worried for your health. He’ll help with some tea, blankets, and of course cuddles! He can use his magic too if you’re really struggling and you’re really exhausted. He’d hate to see you look so tired….but only if it’s ok with you!

* He loves to hold you close to him. So the cold fusion is perfect. But sweetheart cradle is also super good. He wants you to hear how his soul beats for you. Your warmth also makes him feel so cozy, like he’s always at home with you.

* You make this positive bean glow in positivity and in return he wants you to feel just as amazing as you make him feel. (GIVE. HIM. SMOOCHES. Many. He’ll get all giggly and blushy and it’s so fucking adorable-)

Blue:

* This is such an energetic guy. Can’t sit still but that doesn’t mean he’s not a hint of a lazy boi. He IS a Sans and when you date him, he’ll be more comfortable in showing you. Like I would laze about too if I’m always running around in armor, training, and making puzzles all day! Feel lucky! Because not many people see this side of him. (That means he REALLY trusts you).

* This guy is so sweet. He usually wakes up before you but seeing you shake and whimper in your sleep made him so worried. He woke you up and quickly scooped you up in his arms without hesitation. He recognized it as you having a nightmare due to his experience taking care of his brother. He wouldn’t let go until he knows you’re alright before apologizing for waking you up suddenly.

* Whenever you have trouble sleeping, he’ll ask Undyne and his brother what to do. Undyne freaks him out when she tried explaining some possible symptoms of why you’re having trouble sleeping (he thought you was dying for a minute-) but luckily his bro simply tells him some ideas he could try. Thus he put you through a workout, a nice warm bath, and to end it with cuddles!

* His cuddles are just like him: fun and sweet. Sometimes you both just are on your sides of the bed, staring at each other while holding hands, giggling or telling stories. Or if you both want to be closer, you’ll both probably just scoot on over and drape your arms around each other. Kinda like a big hug.

* He cares a lot about the people close to him. As his S/o, you are definitely one of those people. Seeing your smile makes his day and your cuddles really charge his battery so he can face the next day! He has you to thank for that!

Ink:

* Another busy boi. Also very forgetful. You would have to be very patient with this guy….but he always makes up for it. Sometimes he feels really guilty about forgetting to visit you but you understand his job as a guardian and he does have memory problems. He admits that he also feels bad that without a soul, he can’t show you his “real” feelings properly. He needs reassurance in those moments.

* When you had a nightmare, he was really confused on what had happened to you but he recognized your facial expression: fear. He wraps his arms around you, gently cradling you and rubbing the small of your back. He won’t really say much because he’s unsure of what to say. Still he managed to calm you down.

* When you’re walking around like a zombie, he had to ask around about what was up with you. Luckily he found someone who knew the problem and gladly explained it to him. He took the person’s advice and confronted you about it. Well….he picked you up and put you in bed. Looks like you’re not going anywhere until you get some rest….

* His cuddles are pretty laid back. Usually sticks with the half spoon. Buuuuuut low key he likes spooning too. (He won’t admit it but he loves being the little spoon). He’s a lil shit with teasing and being all flirty but that little bastard is mad smooth with his words. Getting all poetic while caressing your face, he knows how to make you blush. (Unless he’s the little spoon. Then you can get back at him. Might piss him off but he’ll be too flustered as well. REVENGE MOTHERFUCKER-)

* At the end of the day, Ink is just a goofy little artist who just needs a little guidance once in awhile. He may be soulless but he truly loves you and hopes you’ll be able to tolerate his shenanigans.

You were an absolute mess. You had a nightmare and you decided to work on something to keep your mind off it. But now you couldn’t go back to sleep! You glanced at the time. 2:00am….a small groan left your mouth. Now what? Coincidentally, Lust and Dream were just coming to visit via teleportation (thanks to Dream) and they saw you with your head down on the table.

“Sweetheart? Why are you up,” Lust asked catching your attention. You were so zoned out you didn’t even notice them.

“My goodness! It’s so late as well….,” Dream exclaimed before feeling your head, “You’re not sick are you?”

You giggle feeling his gloved hand graze over your cheeks, “No I’m fine. I just had a bad dream and uh….kinda can’t fall asleep now.”

Lust tsked at you, “Naughty~. I bet instead of trying to go back to sleep, you stayed up all this time to finish that project of yours.” The guilty expression you had made them chuckle.

Ink suddenly popped up in, “You REALLY need to stop doing that, mon amour. You shouldn’t be up this late….”

“Hello to you too. And please don’t tell me you left Blue in that ink puddle again….,” You said. Sure enough, Blue walks in completely covered in ink.

“You ALWAYS do this,” Blue said looking very annoyed. Ink apologized profusely and managed to remove the ink with his magic. “Now….we should be getting you to bed!”

You gulped as all four of them gave you a smile and a mischievous look. They all picked you up, making you shriek with giggles. They sat you down on the bed as they got into position before placing you in the middle. You were surrounded by your bone-friends as they cuddled close to you. Lust played with your hair, Ink and Blue held your hands while Dream quietly sang a melody. Eventually everyone grew tired and even you who originally had trouble sleeping, was already dozing off.

You smile at your bone-friends, “I love you guys so much~”

They all gave you a warm smile, their eye lights all shaped as hearts. It doesn’t take long for all of you to finally fall sound asleep.

I’ve already mentioned Two by Sleeping At Last but this song, this song man. It’s probably my favourite song in all existence. It’s so beautifully conforming and mournful at the same time. It reminds me a lot of the inevitability of Sam outliving Darlin’ but celebrating the love and growth they’ve managed to gift each other. With Sam constantly referring to Darlin’ as being “like home” this song feels very fitting.

“Your hope dangling by a string, I’ll share in your suffering, to make you well, to make you well.”

I chose this song for very similar reasons to the previous one. It’s a bit more hopeful, upbeat (with a bit of a country vibe, it’s technically folk rock…) but Sam would 100% sing this to Darlin’!! Tell me I’m wrong 😤

Vincent/Lovely

This is a very pretty, very classy song about falling in love under stars. If that’s not Lovely and Vince, I don’t know what is.

The 22 Break and 22 Make albums by Oh Wonder go pretty hand in hand with each other and remind me a lot of the situation Geordi and Cutie are going through at the moment. 22 Break is a break up album (who would have guessed) but it highlights Geordi’s point of “trust has to work both ways”. The 22 Make album on the other hand makes me super excited for where their relationship might develop to. All I can think of when listening to this ablum is how we’re gonna get to listen to them fall in love with each other all over again, no telepathy, but as people talking!! God I love these two so much 😭😭

Elliott/Sunshine

I imagine there was probably a bit of denial/mutual pining between these two before they got together. They’re definitely the type that turned down a lot of people like “We’re just friends 😅” but would secretly both wish that wasn’t the case. They also just deserve a happy, lovey dovey song!

I feel like Freelancer enjoys this kinda music (my Freelancer anyways) and that this song reminds them of Gavin. The “you must be from another galaxy” is kinda funny considering he quite literally is.

Pretty self explanatory I think. A few of Disclosure’s songs are very intense and intimate (You & Me - Flume Remix, especially) it’s almost how I imagine Gavin feels feeding on pleasure. Not necessarily exclusive to just Freelancer but I’m not about to make another section.

Here’s a quick little piece I wrote! I imagined how cute it would be if Erin opened up to Jamie and told her she was her first kiss, and the two had an intimate, open conversation. I really adore their dynamic so I wanted to explore it further here:

“You’re cute when you’re flustered,” Jamie said, grinning wide.

Erin blushed, the blood rushing to her head as her heart practically beat out of her chest. Did Jamie just say what she thought she said? It was something she always wished for.

“You think I’m cute?” Erin asked.

“Yeah, you’re super cute. I can’t stop thinking about kissing you,” Jamie said, leaning a bit closer. It was her turn to blush, but she hid it under her confident demeanor. Her flirty smile, the brightness of her eyes, and the way she took control nearly concealed her flushed face.

“I want to kiss you too,” Erin admitted.

God, she had a crush on Jamie for as long as she could remember. Ever since she started working for Charlie, Jamie had instantly caught her eye. Even on that first day, when Jamie had poked fun at her, making jokes that made her anxious heart race, Erin knew she was intensely attracted to her. Somehow being made fun of felt really good when Jamie was the one doing it.

Jamie was so obviously and outwardly into women, so Erin tried to drop hints that she was too. When they’d talk about movies they liked, music they listened to, Erin tried to casually express that she was solely interested in women, and a part of the community. Things went even better as the two warmed up to each other, and became friends. Being Jamie’s friend was a precious thing. The other girl always saved a spot for Erin, always made time for her, and always volunteered to carry her mic. It was these little things that made Erin think that maybe Jamie liked her back. When their hands touched, Erin would think ‘is this when she’s going to kiss me?’

There were moments of great tension, but nothing had happened…until now. And she felt simultaneously the most excited she’d ever been yet dreadfully unprepared.

As Jamie leaned closer, her lips hovering an inch away from Erin’s, she couldn’t help herself. She pulled back and instantly regretted it. Jamie tilted her head.

“What’s wrong?” She asked. “Did I misread the situation?”

Oh shit. She blew it. Erin felt the sweat run down her back. Fuck, she wished she was less nervous.

“No! Not at all. I want to kiss you really bad. I’ve had a crush on you for a while, it’s just…” Erin began, cutting herself off. She sighed, took a deep breath, and decided to be brave.

“It’s just…I haven’t kissed anyone before.” As the words left her mouth, she looked down, not wanting to meet Jamie’s eyes.

Erin’s body was tense, her shoulders hunched, limbs drawn in tight. She was expecting a laugh, a scoff, some comment that would make her want to crawl back inside her skin. She’d had crushes before, but her inexperience had stopped her from acting on them. Erin couldn’t help but think that people would look down on her. People were always observing how nervous she was, how shy, how well-behaved. She felt this inexperience would be one more strike against her, another reason to date a more confident or outspoken or bolder girl instead of her.

She was surprised when Jamie gently took her hand in hers, running her fingers over her knuckles. The motion was soft, soothing. It calmed her heart and she felt herself relax. Erin finally looked into Jamie’s eyes and saw something that eased all her worries. Jamie looked as nervous as she felt.

“Hey, it’s okay. That’s nothing to be ashamed of, Erin. I’ve only ever kissed two people before,” Jamie said.

Erin was surprised. She didn’t expect that at all!

“Really?” She asked.

Jamie smiled. “Yeah. You probably thought I was some player, and I can’t blame you. My confidence and snarky attitude is my armor. I built it up to protect myself from all the assholes in the world. It’s saved me from a lot of bullshit, but it’s not all there is to me.”

“I wish I could stick up for myself like you do,” Erin admitted.

Jamie looked surprised. “Erin, you’re stronger than you know. I’ve seen you hold your ground and put people in their place. You have a lot more confidence than you’d think. You might’ve been anxious meeting me, but I was nervous meeting you, too. You seemed so smart, so sure of what you wanted. I might not seem like it, but deep down I’m a bundle of nerves. Especially when I like someone.”

It was Erin’s turn to smile. “I make you nervous?”

Jamie nodded. “Yeah. The more interested I am in someone, the more nervous I get. Feel my heart right now,” Jamie took hold of Erin’s hand and placed it over her chest.

Erin felt Jamie’s heart quicken against her skin, felt its quick, steady beat beneath her fingers.

“I really want to kiss you right now,” Erin whispered.

“I really want to kiss you too. Since I’m your first, I‘ll be sure to leave a good impression.” Jamie said, and crashed her lips onto Erin’s.

Erin felt a shock of pleasure spread from her head down to her toes. Jamie’s mouth was warm and soft against hers, and Erin opened her mouth so she could have more access. Erin had doubted herself in her mind, but her body knew what to do. Her lips moved against Jamie’s, deepening the kiss. They parted and kissed again, quick, ravenous kisses transforming into slow, passionate ones.

When they parted again, Jamie looked deeply into Erin’s eyes.

“You’re a natural,” Jamie said.

“Thanks,” Erin said, the compliment sending a newfound wave of confidence through her. She waited a moment before saying. “There’s a lot more I want to try out too…”

Jamie grinned excitedly. “I can’t wait. We’ll discover what you like together.”

Jamie leaned in to kiss her again, and Erin melted under her touch.

i always see people saying he would like spooning, but i disagree

i feel like he would do more of a half-spooning thing with his head on your chest or the other way around
