The sound of the wind blowing the grass around him, the tree and the leaves swaying made kaz feel a bit at easy. This was his favorite part of the day, or when he got the chance. He would come to the old tree you like to sit at and read your thoughts away, sometimes the world liked to get easily overwhelming and you needed a break. Mostly it was the noise of the bar, all the loud voices and sounds of the chips or cups hitting the table for hours, drives you slightly insane.

As kaz inched near he saw your body laying against the tree and your head hanging down to read the words of your book. He found you breathtaking. Kaz walked through the grass with his cane helping him walk, he noticed you never looked towards him.

“I could have killed you already, you need to work on your surroundings.” His voice made you smile but didn’t look up at him.

“I heard your heartbeat approach me, kaz.” It was slick in your tone, how you shot back a snarky remark. Kaz smirked and let out a small chuckle, to quiet for you to hear. He walked closer and was then right beside you and looked out into the forest.

“How long have I been gone?” You asked and finally looked up at him, talking in his sharp and handsome features. “Two hours, Nina sent me.” You nodded your head and closed the book. You knew if someone didn’t come to get you each time, then you wouldn’t come back until you noticed the light from the sun was gone.

“Could they handle it?” You pushed yourself up and grabbed the small knitted bag you brought and placed your book inside. “Nothing they couldn’t handle.” Kaz answered and kept his eyes straight into the woods.

You smiled and giggled at the sight of his expression being somewhat calm. “I like it when you come and get me kaz.” You appeared right by his side and looked towards where he was looking.

Though as soon as you got close he turned his attention fully to you, a much better view then the trees. “And why’s that?” He was curious to know your answer. His eyes trailed along the details of your face. From your eyes, to the outline of your nose, then to your lips.

Everything he knew by heart.

“Because it gives you some sort of peace. I can feel how your heartbeat softens. And the look on your face,” you turn your head to meet his eyes, he liked the soft smile you gave him. “I just like to know something can ease you.”

His heart did flutter a bit and you noticed, also knowing yours did the same as well. He looked so handsome just looking at you with the sun shining on his face, the place around you looked like a place in the books you read. These moments the two of you shared throughout the years was special, just for the two of you.

“I do like the occasional kruger to ease my mind.” Kaz charmed and smirked at you. You sighed but laughed as you shook your head at him, he was still kaz. “Then I shall head back to work to make you some.”

His body burnt as you softly placed your hand on his chest through his vest, reaching up on your toes and planted a gentle kiss on his cheek. This wasn’t new to him, you had giving him a few touches and cheek kisses before. But no matter how many times you did it, he still got butterflies. His demons didn’t scream as much when you were so gentle.

“Be on your way.” He shooed you away and pulled back to look away from you, his cheeks becoming pink. You giggled and hoped off to the path to make your way back to the bar, kaz watched with a feeling in his stomach. It was to late for him to stop himself from falling in love with you.

Because that happened years ago. He was all yours the day you calmed him down from the flashbacks of his pasted. When you hushed the voices in his head, and eases him through it. The real reason he was at peace when he came to get you was not the nature around the two of you.

It was just your presence.

“She won’t break, you know.” You chuckle.

“She’s so… tiny.” Jongho replies, not taking his eyes off your newborn daughter.

She’s hardly a week old, and Jongho has kept his eyes on her nearly the entire time. When he asked you to marry him, he committed to never falling in love with another girl. The moment he laid eyes on your daughter, that promise was broken. He looks at her like she is the most precious thing in this universe. You can’t blame him for that. She absolutely is.

Jongho looks away for just a moment to look up at you from his place on the couch. His eyes are sparkling, and the way he smiles makes your heart melt and soar simultaneously. The look he gives you makes you feel like the most special person on the planet.

“What’re you looking at me like that for?” You chuckle, sitting down beside him.

“Thank you.”

“What did I do?”

“You gave me her. You exist in my life. I’m yours, and I couldn’t ask to be anything more than that.”

You go to reply, but your daughter starts to shift slightly in your husband’s arms. She makes a slight noise that’s hardly there. Jongho returns his attention to her. He sits back against the couch entirely and shifts her tiny body to rest against his chest, head resting against his shoulder. He shuts his eyes, hoping to get a few minutes of sleep while she rests.

You smile at the small interaction. Jongho looks exhausted, you probably do too, but he looks absolutely gorgeous right now in your eyes. He fits his role as a father so well, and you wouldn’t want to experience this with anyone else in the world, even if you could. He pats her back lightly, lulling her back to sleep.  He can feel your eyes on him, though, and peeks one open to look at you. It takes mere moments for him to fully open his eyes again and turn his face toward you.

“What?” You ask again.

“You look beautiful.” He states simply.

You feel butterflies erupt in your stomach, but try to cover your reaction with a humorless chuckle, “Sure, Jongho, I’m sure. I haven’t been able to shower in a few days, my hair looks like a bird’s nest, I have stains on my shirt from feeding and just lactating and-“

“You’re always beautiful.”

You blush slightly at his comment, “S-shut up, give me her. I’ll need to feed her soon.”

“Ten more minutes?” He asks with a slight pout.

“I’ll burst if I go ten more minutes. You get five.” You smile.

Jongho makes a face that you immediately know how to read. You lean over, and just as you’re about to kiss his cheek, he turns and gently pecks your lips. He giggled at your slightly shocked face.

“You go rest a little. You deserve to relax. I’ll bring her to you in five minutes, as promised.”

You nod with a quiet thank you. You start making your way to the nursery. You might as well be in your rocking chair just in case you fall asleep.

“Babe.” Jongho calls; you turn to face him, “I love you so much. Thank you.”

You smile sweetly, “I love you too. You’re already an amazing papa bear.”

a/n: this is sort of an apology for my last fic (and mostly cus i’m obsessed w johnny and this song)

long and strenuous training is what you were used to. being a soldier wasn’t for the faint of heart. you had adapted to the hardcore training sessions over time: you’d been doing this for years.

still, you had some days where it felt like your body felt like it was pushed beyond its limits. today was one of those days. you were sore all over, your head pounding and the room spinning ever so slightly. you smelled of sweat and dirt and your hair was tousled in ways you didn’t know were possible.

you walked the halls slowly, careful not to pull any more muscles. it was a fairly quiet day, which was good for your head.

you were on your way to the lounge room. nobody really hung around in there, except for privates that were avoiding their duties and their commanding officers. you would sometimes go in there between training sessions, when you were still on-duty.

as you approached the door, you noticed it was closed. muffled voices came through, though you couldn’t make out what they were saying. you moved quietly, hoping to scare some new recruits so they would stop disobeying orders.

you peeked through the small window on the door, and instead of some skinny, weak-looking boys having a laugh, you saw gaz. he was attentively listening to something that a man in front of him was saying. he had his back to the door, but you could tell who it was from a mile away.

his accent was extremely apparent, his hair recognizable in any crowd. it was johnny. his hands were flying around in the air, in an undoubtedly exaggerated way of speaking.

you locked eyes with gaz through the glass and held a finger to your lips, pointing the other one at johnny. gaz smirked at you and turned his attention back to the man in front of him.

you placed your ear against the door and listened to him ramble on.

“she’s everything to me.”

“tell me more about her,” you heard gaz say.

johnny hesitated for a moment, “there’s nothing like her smile. it’s contagious. so bright it could blind you. i don’t think she knows how wonderful that smile could make someone feel.”

you frowned slightly. you never told anyone about the fact that you’d loved johnny since you laid eyes on him for the first time. you kept it hidden in a locked part of your mind.

“what would you say if you could tell her?” voice broke you out of your thoughts.

“i won’t be able to. i’ve tried rehearsing it to myself, i couldn’t find the words,” johnny said with a sigh.

“just say what you feel,” gaz said, as if it was obvious.

“wow, thanks mate, didn’t think of that,” you could practically hear johnny roll his eyes.

gaz chuckled a bit. “i’m just saying, you should tell her before someone takes her from you.”

“i don’t want to ruin our friendship. she’s one of my best friends, what happens if she rejects me? i’d lose her altogether if it goes badly,” johnny looked down. “besides, i don’t know how i would even start.”

hearing about how much he loves this girl was making your head hurt even more than before. you took a deep breath, stood up shakily (you were still sore), and opened the door loudly.

gaz looked up and smiled at you mischievously. johnny whipped his head around, horror seeping into his eyes when he saw you.

“what’s that look for?” you asked him, a playful smile on your lips.

he shook his head, “nothin.”

you sat down next to him, sighing in relief as your muscles finally relaxed. gaz looked between you two, snickering to himself.

“shut the hell up, gaz,” johnny said sheepishly.

you rolled your eyes at the both of them.

“how long until your next training session?”

this was the first chance you had to actually relax since 5 AM. you groaned loudly when your head met the pillow, just about to fall asleep. then-

knock.

“are you fucking joking.”

you stood up, sighing and opening the door. gaz stood there, looking slightly impatient.

“do you understand how badly i want to punch you?” you asked him, visibly angry that he interrupted your attempt to sleep off the aches in your joints.

“that can wait,” he stepped inside your room, taking a seat at your desk chair. “i assume you heard almost if not everything johnny said.”

“about the fact that he’s in love with some girl? yeah, heard all of it from when you saw me in the window.”

“so you didn’t hear it all.”

“how about instead of trying to be mysterious, you tell me so i can go the fuck to sleep.”

gaz raised his hands in defeat, “johnny wasn’t talking about some girl.”

“again, stop with the damn mysteries!” you shouted.

“he was talking about you.”

your eyes widened and your expression was almost entirely blank. the pure shock that filled your head was unfathomable.

“what.”

you uttered only one word, entirely monotonously. gaz could only hold back his laughter for so long.

“oh shut up, kyle,” you said, smacking his arm.

“i’ll leave you with that for a bit. you look tired,” he remarked, practically cackling when you flipped him off. you almost shoved him out of the door, shutting and locking it.

your attempts to sleep went down the drain. you couldn’t keep your mind off of what gaz said. you thought over what you heard through the door, concluding that he couldn’t possibly be talking about you. still; the thought lingered in your head, preventing even a minute of sleep.

as 20 minutes went by and no sleep, you decided that you’d have to go talk to johnny if you wanted to get rest.

so there you were, standing at his door. you told your body to knock, but the fear was holding you back. you were scared that gaz was just fucking with you. that johnny didn’t actually love you.

on an impulse, you knocked rather rapidly, pulling your hand away and taking deep breaths to yourself. you clenched your shaky hands at your sides, impatiently waiting for the door in front of you to open.

it took a few seconds - johnny was undoubtedly in bed when you’d showed up. he looked annoyed when he first opened the door, but his gaze softened when he saw you.

“you okay? it’s late, i thought you’d be sleeping,” he said, stepping to the side to let you shuffle inside his room quietly.

“yeah, couldn’t sleep. sorry if i woke you up though,” you grimaced at your unsure tone.

“nah, i couldn’t sleep either. what’s wrong? you’re shaking like mad,” he pointed to your hands.

“hm? oh- yeah, gripping a gun for three hours straight isn’t the best,” you lied, wringing your hands and placing them in your pockets.

he nodded, looking around the room and desperately searching for something to say. you couldn’t find any way around what you came here for, no matter how hard you tried. your mind conflicted you. you were afraid of embarrassing yourself, but there was no going back now.

“gaz came to my room earlier,” you said quickly.

“yeah?” johnny said, fear creeping up in his chest.

you opened your mouth to speak, but you hesitated. taking a deep breath, you realized: you dug your grave, now lie in it.

“he did,” you said, matter-of-factly. “told me something really shocking.”

now johnny was the one shaking. “and what was that?”

you looked at your feet, then back at him.

“i heard your conversation at the door to the lounge room. it wasn’t intentional, i was just waiting for you to finish talking so i could jump out and scare you. i heard you talking about a girl, how pretty her smile was, how you didn’t know how to talk to her,” you took an unconscious step toward him. “he told me who it was.”

johnny made a mental note to beat the shit out of gaz later. “i’m sorry, i told him not to. i didn’t want to ruin anything-“

he stopped as soon as you wrapped your arms around him, your head resting on his shoulder.

“don’t be sorry.”

“sorry.”

“you’re terrible.”

“i love you.”

you pulled away, eyes widened but your mouth smiling nonetheless. “i love you too.”

“you do?” he looked at you as if he was admiring you.

“i do. always have,” you hugged him again. when you pulled away, johnny was more than impatient as he grabbed your cheeks softly and pressed a kiss to your lips.

there was no desperation, it wasn’t like fireworks. it felt like home. something so familiar it almost gave you deja vu. his lips on yours felt nothing but right.

“do you have any idea how long i wanted to do that for?” he asked when you pulled away.

“if it’s as long as i have, then it must’ve been ages, huh?” you chuckled.

“stay the night?”

“as if i’d do anything different.”

How does it feel to fall in love?

When it's with the right person, it's very reassuring.

I can only speak from my own experience - which is imperfect and desperately lucky. For those that don't know, I'm married. I'm 24 & a college student and terribly bad at Mario Kart. I married the man that told me he was in love with me almost ten years ago and I laughed and said, "Thanks!"

Because...he was the boy next door. He was my big brother's friend. We went on trips together with our families and I had crushes on his friends but not him.

And we both continued on with our lives and he dated other girls and we remained friends. It wasn't until college when we'd hardly seen each other for years and I moved back to my hometown to transfer universities that we began hanging out again and I looked at him one day while we were out paddleboarding with some friends and a little piece of my heart went, "Oh."

Then we proceeded to go to dinner all together after and we just sat and talked about books the entire time. (the real way to any girl's heart)

And my brain went, "Oh $#&*"

He had a terrible habit of handing his entire heart over almost immediately, and I the sad inability to hand mine over to anyone. I'd tried to fall in love before. It always felt stilted, or horribly one-sided.

But with my husband, it was right.

I was still stressed, and anxious, and wondered if I was doing the right thing when, one week after the paddleboarding incident, we went on our first date.

I was falling for him when only a few short months later he whispered "I love you" in a cabin loft, extra quiet because everyone else was sleeping. I whispered it back, but I think even then, I didn't quite understand that I was still only falling.

I fell in love with him a month or two later, when we were staying with friends 10 hours away from home and we were the only two left in the house. And he asked me to dance, right there in the living room.

I'd always pictured something like this - despite my best efforts I have a tendency to be a hopeless romantic. When I'd pictured it, though, it gave me major second-hand embarrassment. But that night, we danced to "Grow as We Go" by Ben Platt (which we'd decided earlier that day while washing dishes together would most definitely be our first dance song), and I didn't feel embarrassed.

I didn't feel like I had to look away, or like I had to fill the silence. I looked at him and felt like I could do anything, so long as he was with me.

So. I've given you half my life story. So sorry haha. But when you ask me what it feels like to fall in love, I can only think of my love, which I'm still shocked that I possess. But, to give you a rough answer, this is what it feels like.

Like you want to give them just as much love in return. Safe. Real. Shocking. Beautiful. Terrifying.

Just, right.

Here's to hoping we all get to experience love with the right person.

p.s. we did indeed dance to "Grow as We Go" at our wedding, and all I could think about was washing dishes with him and dancing in the front room in our sweatpants. best memory ever.

Confessions Of Cedric

A shameless self insert gender neutral reader x Cedric the Sorcerer fic. It's an AU that takes place some time after Cedric is pardoned for his actions against the kingdom, but before he gained everyone's trust back.

There isn't a lot of exposition because I was too lazy to write it.

I'll post the rest when I feel like it, but I think this is still readable even without full context. All you need to know is that there's a big misunderstanding due to... Cedric's skeletons in the closet, and both of you got into a nasty fight/breakup. Is there any other Cedric lovers out there anymore to even read this???? Also I'm putting this song here cuz I think the main theme is a good visual for cedrics frame of mind/feelings in this situation

"After everything we've confessed to each other about our suffering, you really thought I wouldn't understand?" Your eyes bore into Cedric's, a mix of anger, hurt, sadness, and love swirling together on your face.

"I... I don't know." Cedric hung his head, grief and shame dimming the light in his eyes. "I really did want to tell you, I didn't mean to keep it secret for so long. But, you just-" Cedric's voice grew hoarse, and you could see tears slowly filling up in his eyes. Your eyes immediately softened, and you clasped your hands around Cedric's cheeks in comfort. Cedric inhaled a shaky breath, blinking fast to stop the tears from leaking out. You caress his distressed face with your thumb, moving in closer to Cedric.

"It's okay Ceddy, take your time. I'm here." You coo softly. You look up at the sorcerer, feeling the rest of your negative emotions shrivel up in an instant. Now, your heart aches with love and compassion for the man in front of you. Tears slip from Cedric's lacquer colored eyes, dripping down his ruddy cheeks and onto your fingers. You wait patiently for him to calm down to continue his train of thought. After a few moments, Cedric brings his hands up to clasp them tightly in his own.

"I wanted to tell you sooner. But then... you look at me, just like that. Like I'm the most lovely thing you've ever seen, even though I've done such horrible, awful things." Cedric's voice cracked, but he pressed on, the words spilling out uncontrollably like the tears falling from his eyes.

"And even though I knew that not telling you would blow up in my face, like it always does-" Cedric laughed humorlessly, his chuckle sounding more like a sob. "I didn't want to lose you, I didn't want you to stop looking at me with love and kindness. I convinced myself that if you knew what I almost did to the kingdom... You'd hate me, and rightfully so." Cedric shakes his head, refusing to look at you.

You try to catch his eye, but Cedric still refuses to meet your eyes. Without thinking, you open your mouth to speak.

"I could never hate you, Cedric.... I love you."

Your mouth hung slack as you realized that you just told Cedric you loved him, out loud, for the first time ever. Your heart was pumping a million miles a minute, yet your mind fell into a state of complete tranquility. It was like you completely trusted the truth of your own words fully for the first time. A thick silence fell over you and Cedric, and even the birds hushed their songs as if they didn't want to interrupt this moment. Cedric broke the silence first, exhaling a shaky breath.

"I know."

Cedric gave you a bittersweet smile, but it didn't reach his eyes. Your face began to fall, and your rapidly beating heart stopped dead in your throat.

"I was also afraid that despite everything, you would choose to love me and stay with me anyways; because that's just who you are. It's one of the many reasons I love you, too." Cedric gazed at you adoringly, his cheeks and ears lighting up like a flame.

"I was scared that if everyone knew of us, you'd be treated differently... I didn't want you to be ostracized because of my mistakes- I was so convinced that either way, I'd ruin you." Cedric's voice fell to a hush, and the pain of his own confession hit you like a truck. You made a choked noise from the back of your throat, tears welling up in your own eyes.

"Cedric... " The words on the tip of your tongue fizzled out, and the lump formed in your throat made you mute.

"And now, even in trying to protect you I ended up hurting you instead. I truly am sorry for everything." Cedric's voice becomes thick with emotion, and he swallows hard. You stare up at Cedric, still unable to use your voice. Your heart was screaming to tell him you've already forgiven him, and that you want nothing more than for Cedric to kiss you and tell you he loved you over and over again.

"I know that after everything, it would be selfish to even ask- but if you were to give me one more chance, I promise you that I'll never shut you out again."

Cedric's voice was clear and strong for the first time, but his eyes were full of trepidation at hearing your response. You could feel deep in your bones how much you ache for him back by your side. Acting on that feeling, you pull him flush against your body, flinging your arms tightly around his waist. You feel his body stiffen as he processed what was happening. You bury your face into his chest, inhaling his scent deeply. The familiar sharp smell of burnt citrus, lavender, sweat, and sweet saccharine of his lab chemicals stilled your heart as you felt his own about to burst from his chest.

"Is that... A yes?" His hands lightly rested on your back, hesitating to fully embrace you.

You nod, squeaking out a small "yes." You parted from Cedric, locking eyes with him.

"I never want to be apart from you ever again. I forgive you, Cedric. Can you forgive me, too?" You ask shyly, your lips pressed together tightly in anxiety.

"I think we both know the answer to that, love." Cedric's mouth quirked up into a broken smile, his eyes misting up again. You flash him a crooked smile of your own, your eyes never leaving his gaze.

"Is that a yes?" You echoed Cedric's words, tilting your head playfully. You bit down on your lower lip to stop yourself from laughing as Cedric's eyes lit up mischievously.

"Will a kiss suffice for an answer?" Cedric purred, brushing his thumb against the part of your lip you just bit down on. Your eyes widened at his forwardness, but you quickly recovered. Instead of answering, you tugged at his robe to draw him in.

Following your movement, Cedric's lips connected tenderly against your own. As both your lips made contact, it felt as if time itself held its breath to not ruin the moment between you both. Cedric's hands cupped your face, cradling you as if you would shatter in a thousand pieces. Tears threatened to come again at his gentle touch. Continuing the kiss, your hand found its way to the nape of his neck, burying your fingers in his silky hair. Your other hand leaned into his chest to keep your balance, and you felt his heart beating wildly. Cedric slowly deepened the kiss, his hands leaving your face to pull you in closer by the waist as he snakes his own fingers into your hair. You hummed approvingly, your pulse rushing in your ears. His kiss felt like home, and you never knew a more blissful moment than being in his arms. After a few more lingering kisses exchanged between you both, you pull away slowly to take in a breath.

Cedric looks down at you lovingly, his eyes glazed over and his cheeks flushed. A dopey smile broke out on your own face, and you bring Cedrics hand up to brush your lips over his gloved knuckles affectionately.

"I love you." Cedric drew out, savoring the way the phrase felt on his tongue.

"I love you too, Cedric." You brush your fingers through his silver bangs, cupping his chin in your hand.

Mystery by Matt Maltese. Honestly, some of the lyrics don’t make sense to him, either. He just likes the phrase “I would pick you 10 out of 9 times.”

The Most Beautiful Thing by Bruno Major. He loves reminiscing about how he met you, when he met you, and any other possibilities of how how you guys could’ve ran into each other. He remembers the day vividly.

Okay, so clearly, I can’t read because I chose fics that started with an “S” for my actual first name and not my URL lol. I tried to fix this, but the amount of fics that start with a “P” in my bookmarks is almost nonexistent. So I’m going to just stick with my incorrectness; forgive me. Lola - thank you for always tagging me; I finally managed to post because looking through my AO3 bookmarks made this “easier.” You know how indecisive I am. Lol. I also promise I tried to keep this short, and this is what keeping it short looks like.😂

911 Lone Star

Say You’ll Remember Me: This is a Ryderdie WIP by @myemergence, and I really look forward to more. It’s one of my absolute favorite tropes (Amnesia!) and a canon-divergent AU for 2x9 featuring one of the best fictional couples to ever exist. I love Judd and Grace Ryder so much. Jenny nails the angst in that way where it hurts but GOSH it is good. It’s just *chef’s kiss* and I can’t wait to see where the rest of the journey takes us. 

Searching For A Trail to Follow Again:  Paige’s (@sunshinestrand) fics are classic, butterflies in your stomach, grinning from ear-to-ear, romantic comedies. This AU was so charming and, like all of Paige’s writing, leaves you with the biggest smile on your face because you’re just over-the-moon Carlos and TK have found one another in this story and in all her AUs (again and again and again). Contrary to popular belief among certain showrunners, letting characters just be happy is quality and compelling storytelling, and I’m grateful for fic writers like Paige who know that and give us a slice of that joy. 

So Many Somethings: Rae’s (@iboatedhere) AUs are iconic by now, but this one will always be near and dear to my heart. Not just because it’s the You’ve Got Mail AU and it’s an incredible nod to the film, but also because it was the first fic I ever beta-read for her, and the whole process bonded us. Rae, thanks for trusting me! This fic is remarkable, I love the balance of enemies-friends-lovers and the banter. Oh, the Banter™️. Nora Ephron would be proud! 

Sanctuary: If I had to use one word to summarize this fic, it would be ✨DESTINY✨. Honestly, I think all of Kim’s (@reyescarlos) fics have a destiny vibe to them, you can feel that these two characters are meant to be together, and they will find a way. I loved the first meeting in this one; the tension in the scene was palpable, and Kim’s writing always makes you feel like every interaction is happening right in front of you. She’s magic in that way ✨. 

Slowly Becoming Lovers: I love fics that show us the little moments between Carlos and TK, how they fall in love through the little things, and the way Holly (@morganaspendragonss) portrays that journey in these short vignettes is so so SO beautiful. This is one of the fics I have reread the most, according to the AO3 clicks lol, and there is a reason for that. It is truly lovely. Also, the title is inspired by one of my favorite Ben Platt songs, and fits the story perfectly! Highly recommend! 

Red, White, and Royal Blue

Snowed in? Snow problem: This fic is such a blast to read, lol. I laughed so hard, and I still laugh just as hard when I reread it because the ugh!Hunter slander is top-tier. A direct quote: “Well, I’m not bunking in with Hunter or you’ll be dealing with a murder by the end of the day.” Same, Alex. Same. Sink Beneath the Waves: This fic. THIS FIC. You know how in every fandom, there are stories that are essentially required reading, this one by @indomitable-love is one of those fics for me in the RWRB fandom. The love, the yearning, the pain, and the utter joy at Henry’s “I’m into making History.” Getting the chance to see these canon plot points from Henry’s POV is a gift, and I’m so grateful this fic exists for us to revisit again and again.
