Lying just because it's April Fools' is so dull. Honestly painful to watch. Lying in general doesn't do you any good. In my younger days, I told every lie I could, saying some genuinely insane stuff about being a supreme leader of evil and whatnot, and thanks to that, now that I'm in my thirties, I got famous for all the wrong reasons and can't find a stable job because people think I'm associated with the yakuza... Sigh, I wanna deck my cringe younger self's face. Quit lying for fun while you can.

My classmates aren't doing great either. Thinking you're hot shit during your school days always comes back to bite you... My advice to my past self: slow and steady effort is worth more than any talent. Also, the part of life you spent larping with that silly horse laugh is not going to be one you'll want to remember later. I wish I could make that clear to him. White lies aren't a thing. Talent is never enough. My class is proof of that. Wanna know what my classmates are like now that we're in our thirties?

Akamatsu became a piano teacher. Her player skills capped off in her teens, it seems. But she's not that good at teaching so she's considered kinda mid at her job. And now she's struggling with the father of a student incessantly hitting on her. Tough world to live in.

Toujou opened a housekeeping company but she was too strict with her employees so everyone quit. And now she's doing everything on her own. Sucks to be in your thirties without any successors or employees. She's a prime example of how being so much better than anyone else doesn't do you any good. Well, she's always working for celebrities, so she's doing well financially, but I heard about some major court fight about a missing item under suspicion of theft from one of her clients. That can't be nice.

Yumeno got to her thirties still saying magic is real, so she's past the point of no return. She agrees that's an unhinged way to live, but she's too old to suddenly change gimmicks. Work takes her all over the country, but her gimmick doesn't allow her to publicly drink, so she has to get plastered alone in her hotel room after shows. I wish she could fix her life with real magic.

Harukawa? ...Haven't heard that name in a long time. Now she was a living edgy fantasy. The past tense was because I hadn't heard of her in a long time. I don't know the details, but apparently, she went to some war zone outside of Japan because her first love didn't want to date her. Takes some real edgelord to react to a broken heart like that, but if she's still alive, I have no idea how her thirties are treating her. My personal guess is that she's a mother of many.

Chabashira opened her Aikido school but is having a hard time attracting students. So she had the idea of starting an anti-sexual-harassment campaign that could double as advertisement, but thanks to her cluelessness when it comes to romance, she got canceled for mistakenly tossing men in regular couples. She's still doing the "degenerate males" bit in her thirties. Girl really needs to get on with the times. Rumor goes that she still downs huge packs of tequila bottles with Yumeno every now and then. Really don't think there's any salvaging her reputation.

Shirogane is an office lady still continuing her cosplay hobby on the side. She could be doing well if she knew how to keep her mouth shut but frequently rambles about cosplay history and etiquette, so no one likes having her around. Stay emotionally dependent on a single hobby long enough and your passion starts to close you off to others. That's her problem.

Angie was the most successful in the class! She made big money both on the art and the religion fronts. However, there were some controversies about her devotees selling counterfeits of her paintings at exorbitant prices and one magazine made a huge news coverage of it, which resulted in her catching the police's attention. She's been recently untraceable, with the rumors saying that she'll never be back to Japan.

Oh, and Iruma... Up until some point, she had the best life of all of us. She made big money off of her inventions' patents. So far so good. Things only started going off-rails after she married an ex-stripper. The two started a YouTube channel together. And later, her husband ran in last year's elections and lost big time. They got an awful debt from his election campaign and she had to get into side jobs to pay it off. And her husband? Disappeared. No word from Iruma herself about what happened. Tough world to live in.

It's been one day since Charles won and every time I think about it I get teary eyed. To me it's so weird that most new fans know Ferrari only as the butt of pit-stop jokes, as the team perpetually in chaos, as the mess that was under Binotto. Because to me Ferrari is still the best team around, they may have had a few rough years but there were a few years that came down to the wire as far as championships went. I feel like mine and Charles' favorite team is Ferrari because we both grew up with that early '00 Ferrari that dominated. The part that everyone forgot is that Michael build Ferrari around him, because by then the championship drought had been about twenty years. That's what Charles is doing, what Binotto saw and didn't want, what in the end cost him his job. Because team principals are a dime a dozen, but talented drivers, generational talents, that bleed Ferrari red down to the bone are much, much harder to find. What Fred brought to the team, the mindset shift, has made the team much more stable. This stability has in turn brought out a consistent car, which is everything. The 2012 car may have been the fourth fastest car, but Alonso's consistency kept him in the WDC fight until the last race. Consistency is key, consistency is why Charles is second in the WDC, consistency is why I believe a WCC fight could be in reach. In short, I am very positive about this season! (Sidenote, but I feel like RB has hit a ceiling and Max isn't as comfortable in the car as he was last year, and again, consistency is the name of the game)

Even in bad years Ferrari has been the best team. There are teams that start to fail and fall into obscurity. Not Ferrari, they always come back. Always, doesn't matter how long it takes. They always come back to remind everyone why they are the most successful team in Formula One history.

You don't need the fastest car to win a championship, you just need a car that is fast enough, good team strategy and a talented driver. A good driver can make up the difference where a car may be lacking, we've been seeing Charles do this all year and he's just getting better.

We are 100% in a WCC fight now, Max cannot carry it on his own, not with both Ferraris being so consistent. And after a few more races we will be able to see if we have a title fight on our hands, it's still too early to tell, but a few more races of Red Bull struggling would give us a title fight either way.

And yes, our drivers being more skilled is what has been keeping us ahead of Mclaren as well. Ferrari always attracts top talent, and that makes a massive difference.

I think I already said that Red Bull have clearly hit diminishing returns on that car, and they have sacrificed stability for more speed. Not only that the one weakness in the RB19 is more pronounced now that the other teams are catching up. Max said last year it wasn't good on street circuits, no one really believed him because he was still winning, but that was in part because the rest of the competition was more of a mess. Now Ferrari and Mclaren have their shit together and have surpassed Red Bull in some key areas and these weaknesses are now on full display.

it's a completely understandable question with what i believe to be a rather understandable answer.

i didn't know the guy personally. i respect him greatly as an actor, as an artist, and as an overall kind, intelligent, talented man. nearly everyone who interacted with him liked him on a personal level. i'm genuinely bummed that i'll never get to meet him.

but as columbo teaches us, there's often more than meets the eye, especially when it comes to celebrities. so, too, is the case with peter falk.

the short answer is this: if you want a red-hot acting career, a nightfly lifestyle where you hit the town with the boys all the time, and any semblance of a normal family life...you kind of have to choose only two of those. peter wanted a woman more in line with the choices he made--which is to say, a hot party girl half his age.

in my eyes, the age and power differences between peter and his second wife, shera danese, are worthy of the eyebrow raise you'd get from most people given those gaps. after all, he was 46 and she was 24. but frankly, at 24 your brain is just about fully grown. and though i can't claim to know, my gut doubts he was out to prey on her or exploit a power dynamic so much as he was trying desperately to reclaim his youth and maintain his carousing lifestyle with--you guessed it--a hot party girl half his age. tale as old as time.

there was, too, the unforseen limitation of them not only being from two completely different generations, but also not being able to agree on literally anything. everything was a fight with them. most interviews and media you can find of the two of them poke fun at their constant discord, but it's always palpable.

for emphasis, in the columbo episode murder of a rock star, shera and peter got into one of their trademark massive fights and she stormed off the set, refused to finish her scenes, and left to go clothes shopping. when some of the crew went to retrieve her, she refused to return, so they had to rewrite and film the final scene around her. and if you've watched the episode, you can definitely tell.

when asked what the two had in common, they always said "we both like the color blue" as perhaps some sort of inside joke for not actually having much in common, but they were so well-known for their heated blowouts that they came to be known in hollywood as the "fighting falks". they upheld that namesake well: the two separated several times and attempted to divorce twice. they did, at the very least, remain married until his death.

so there you have it. aside from the fact that this relationship was an egregious display of infidelity, do i think the age gap was particularly healthy? were they well suited where it mattered most? did it fix peter falk's midlife crisis? i'm in no position to judge. draw your own conclusions from the information given.

Sometimes I just can't shake the feeling that "the curse of Mico simps mysteriously vanishing" I half-jokingly mentioned earlier is simply a reflection of the issue of Bloodborne fandom both being small(ish) and having many very talented artists.

Out of all fandoms I've been at, Bloodborne is the one where literally nothing is easier than to see extremely skilled artists banging out masterpieces every week and feel kinda.. talentless? Mediocre and not wanted, even, especially if you have a simple or cute/silly art style. The only ways to combat this dread is to get on the good side of "cool popular kids" that distribute majority of likes/reblogs, or to find your own supportive group of friends. With Mico fans it just is harder because for some reason the fanbase of this character has always been kinda disorganized, and he himself tends to attract people with very sensitive, intricate souls hahah. Thinking back on Mico fans that mysteriously vanished from the fandom like goddamn magic that I used to know, they all had severe self-confidence issues...? AND no network of "the same two supportive mutuals". Maybe that's why so many of them just deactivated or never posted again? Maybe feeling "small" as artists was too much?

Again, not only this character, but the example I am most familiar with because unlike other characters, this one fails to create a "core" if you know what I mean? But THE funniest thing? Situation with art in the fandom reflects how Fromsofts games feel themselves...? The sense of being overwhelmed by something much bigger and stronger than you, feeling your self-confidence crashed and wondering how THE fuck are you supposed to overcome this? This is the other side of being in the community full of a little TOO talented people, really. It just can be easy to feel like you are worse than others and not wanted.

Basically, I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you feel like your skill and talent are lower than everyone else's - treat it like being kinda not very good at soulsborne games as a player, and if you feel like you just can't join a group or create your own to get enough engagement and validation - treat it like not being able to online coop for help! How would you continue playing in this situation? Right, you would study the game, keep trying new tools and practice on your own terms and at your own pace! If you feel this kind of dread, do the same: experiment with the style, designs, characters, ideas and so on until you feel so engaged and satisfied that you just can't quit. Until it becomes almost like addiction and finishing your art ideas becomes what keeps you here. Before I've found the same five people that always like my art I've also been feeling like I just don't belong and my art is worse than that of "actually" talented artists here. So I've kept looking for something within my art itself and discovered a passion: both for drawing characters in the way that captures every single detail (no matter how much it torments me lol) and for depicting absurd amount of references for characters in every single state of their life! This is what helped me to not feel so bad about what art skills I lack, this keeps me engaged even if I stop getting notes and compliments at all, this is what makes how good other people's art is irrelevant because it is about my goalposts now, and I am sure other people who don't feel confident can find their own ""playing style"" but in creativity that'll make it fun!

Just don't quit, okay? Like... no matter how much you may feel that "everyone else is more talented or more supported or both", I promise you can find the way. Just like how you didn't understand how to beat these games at first but adapted in the end. EVERYTHING Soulsborne goes back to a theme of having to overcome a really hard challenge, right? Creativity too, and our self-confidence is under constant testing which I honestly do not recall being the case in my previous fandoms??

If elements were more lineage based and not stuck 1:1 per parent what element would you hc the air kids as having. (Assuming Pema is a non bending daughter of at least one earthbender)

//Personally, I've always imagined Pemzin's kids as having the potential to be Airbenders (bc of Aang being of Air Nomad decent), Waterbenders (bc of Katara being of Water Tribe decent) and Earthbenders (bc of Pema being of Earth Kingdom decent). If one of Pema's parents were from Fire Nation decent, then I'd include that as well.

But I imagine it not extending past grandparents, because the creators specifically say it's not about bloodlines, but rather a spiritual connection, with each culture providing a different spiritual vantage point. So, while I do believe in some genetics having to do with ethnic grouping, I still think grooming is an important factor. By fostering the Air Nomad side of their heritage, they are more likely to develop into Airbenders than any other element.

With this in mind we know of three canon aspects that attribute to being able to bend: ethnic grouping/cultural upbringing (decides which element you're predisposed to developing), spiritual connection (how likely you'll be a bender), and a physical aspect having to do with blood flow and chi channels in/around the brain (an on-and-off switch basically).

Okay, bc I love them and will likely not write any of them anytime soon, here is a big long list of my post-canon headcanons for The Great Library series. I spend a fair bit of my daydream time imagining the futures of the major players.

Please imagine that all these futures unfurl across a background of the whole Wolfe Pack gaining some amount of fame and attention as the Library starts telling the story of the revolution of the last few years. Many of the Pack's lives are shaped by whether they mind or don't mind the attention... whether they want to ride the new media, or do their work while avoiding it.

Khalila guides the Library through the next decade or so, anchoring many advancements in privacy, safety and indigenous agency in Library policies. While in the Archivist position, she uses the attention to build an elegant, regal & progressive presence that benefits the new image of the Library. She retires early to return to her beloved research and raise a family with Dario, as quietly as she can.

Santi is quickly gone from the Curia, unhappy in the position. He moves into training, and loves it; he continues for many more years spotting and elevating officer talent.

Thomas, to everyone's surprise, lasts the longest in the Curia, as the Artifex. With a great deal of help from trusted assistants that often attend meetings on his behalf, and keep him on time, he is a brilliant, generous and beloved Artifex for decades. He usually lives with friends, devoted to his work and preferring not to live alone.

Jess begins as a librarian in the Printer role, and stays on when the role shifts to a Scholarly and Curia position. (Wolfe puts his first Scholar robe on him. Jess is also among a *very* small number of people who have been Garda, librarian and Scholar.) He builds the Curia position from scratch, combining his political savvy and understanding of the history of smuggling, overseeing the greatest expansion of book creation in the history of the world. He is also almost always in conflict with most of the rest of the Curia.

One of Jess' gifts remains never entirely trusting the Library. It benefits him both in his job and in his spare time, where he accidentally finds himself at the crossroads of several art scenes. These include early musical recording, through Thomas' tinkering, and an explosion of subversive art through the friends and lovers he attracts. He goes into business with Dario, opening Stormcrow Art Gallery first, and eventually a theatre.

Dario gains a reputation for skilled research, especially in textile history, and also for spotting artistic talent. He makes a name for himself as a Scholar before he takes time off to be a househusband. He also drives his business dealings with Jess further into his most beloved art, high fashion.

Wolfe insists he will never do research again, first applying himself to training new postulants. This lasts about three years before he has too many opinions about what the Artifex dept is releasing, and dives back in. On the side, he writes reviews of the art Jess and Dario are funding.

As far as story is concerned, Dorothea just falls flat for me. I don't get much of a dynamic character arc from her. The game tries to go with this "ooh, she starts out flirty and sexy, and then the war starts and she's sad and pretty and hates war! isnt that different? isn't that sad??" like no........it's not?? really??? That's not an arc. I found that Dorothea's comments about the war read more like the game trying to hamfistedly declare that War Bad because War Made Pretty Girl Sad, rather than actually taking the time to show it. They at least gave her a little more meat when they included that line in SS about her taking care of orphans, but it never goes anywhere.

On top of that, I found a lot of her lines and views to be flat-out mopey and whiny. The worst offender I can think of is her post-kill line in the Red Canyon:

Like, this school was canonically founded to unite the three nations to fend off Almyran invasions. It's called the Officers' Academy. What'd you THINK you were gonna do? But no, it's a Very Incisive And Thought-Provoking Line About The Evils Of Crusading Religion, or something. Did they not give yall like.....pamphlets at orientation??

Her hatred of the Church and the goddess is also misplaced—which could be interesting, but it's written in such a way that she never has to confront it. No, the Church didn't do anything to help her when she was impoverished...because the church got chased out of the empire over a century beforehand. No, the goddess didn't do anything to fix her situation...because the goddess was slumbering inside Byleth. But Dorothea never canonically learns those things, so she never has to deal with her preconceived notions being challenged. Now she can access a Hidden Talent in Faith, but I find it. hmm. that when she brings it up to Byleth in one of the student goal change requests, she explicitly frames it as "I don't believe in the goddess, but I believe in you". In other words, it's resolved by more player pandering instead of taking a real opportunity for character growth.

(I love Byleth, she’s my pfp and I stan Claudeleth, but the Black Eagles are full to bursting with player pandering to a degree that the other houses just. don’t have, and it hurts the characters and the group dynamic as a result.)

She wants to attract a rich husband and secure her future financially, but doesn't actually do anything other than shove her boobs out and sing—she doesn't want to learn any military or diplomatic skills, she doesn't seem to have any interest in learning hospitality or statesmanship, and she actively insults many of the nobles she can support with. As Lorenz points out, being even a minor noblewoman is harder than that; it requires an actual formal education in politics and running a household. Now that could be an interesting character beat, that she unconsciously sabotages herself because she believes she's not really worthy of the future she claims to want, or because she just tells everyone she wants to be a gold digger but really she wants true love, but that's not a concept that's addressed in the story. She comes off—at least in the lolcalization—as a shallow, Sad But Pretty Yas Kween Slay archetype rather than an actual well-rounded dynamic character.

Like other characters in the Empire, she's incredibly self-pitying, hypocritical, and annoying to watch, and often behaves as waifu bait because the devs wanted you to pick Black Eagles first. She's at her most interesting on Silver Snow, but it still feels incomplete, and fandom hates that route and only wants Communist Kween Who Says Eat The Rich—and that means that the most utterly stale and boring versions of her are the popular versions that I see everywhere.

(There's this idea that because Dorothea had it rough, she should be allowed to do and say whatever she wants and get whatever prizes she wants, and you're obviously a bad person if you don't like her. Like with Ashe and Bernie, fandom turned a character who just sort of mildly annoys me into a character I find utterly insufferable.)

How would the the Allies go about a darling that rejected, but the darling seems scared when they did. Not scared of them but something else. Before the nations can do anything, The darling fearfully tells them to stay away from them, because they don't want to see them get hurt or worse killed. After that they ran away. After a good 2 weeks of the darling avoiding them. The Nations go threaten ask the darling's friends what's going on. The darling's friends has told them they have this crazy stalker (Yandere) that's been threatening them and hurting the people they care about. So what are the Allies going to do when they find out that the darling only rejected them to keep them safe and that they actually do love and care about them; that and they have another Yandere after them.

Aph America -   Alfred F. Jones

Alfred would honestly feel offended. What does this mean, babe? Did you think that he was weak and couldn’t protect you? Okay, he knew that you were pretty awesome, but still! He has been training to try and impress you, so, he is even stronger than before! Please, some stalker isn’t going to stop him. Without a second thought, he would kill the fuck! And if it’s a country, he is a big country, he could wage war and put that country into its place! Honestly, Alfred would find your reasoning for not accepting his love very stupid and would punish you after getting rid of the problem. Losing half of the people that you considered close was good enough punishment, right? 

Aph England -  Arthur Kirkland

Arthur wasn’t physically all that strong, that’s why he knew that he couldn’t win against the person in a physical fight, especially if the stalker is someone who is strong like Ludwig. Because of that, he would find different ways of getting rid of your stalker. For example, a poisoned cup of tea, or poisoned food. Worst-case scenario, he could just poison that area's water supply. Yes, many people would die, but if it gets the job done, who cares, yes? Everything is fair in love and war.  After the problem would be taken care of, he would move on to punish you. Avoiding him without telling him anything? You think he was not going to punish you for such a thing? I hope you are ready for some heavy psychological torture because he needs to teach you some new rules, it seems...

Aph France - Francis Bonnefoy

Francis would be horrified, and understanding. It must have been so frightening! He really isn’t sure what to do though... He isn’t that strong, and he isn’t talented in assassinating people in different ways... Oh, wait! He could just hire someone to kill them! Very easy! And if it’s a country, he could make up some lies and deliver them to both Ivan and Alfred, so that country would be destroyed by the two idiots! Don’t worry, he will save you! Afterward, he would officially ask you out, and he hopes you finally accept otherwise.. Well, after what he managed to do, he isn’t going to be a pushover anymore, willing to hurt you to get you. 

Aph China -  Yao Wang

Yao would say that it’s nonsense! Just give him a day or two and that person will disappear. He is a martial arts master, and you need to remember that he has a very loyal family that would do anything just to make him proud. Not even talking about them actually being very talented at martial arts, minus Kiku.. He’s the only one who wanted to be different.  Afterward, Yao would feel very proud, having another reason to show off and explain why he was the perfect partner for you. I mean, he dealt with the problem almost immediately. Now, there is no reason to reject him anymore, yes? 

Aph Russia -  Ivan Braginsky

Ivan would nod, smiling and saying that you didn’t need to worry about the problem. He will go and make sure that the little person is crushed. No mercy for someone who scares his little rabbit. He is the most brutal with his execution, seeing as he will beat the person to death with his metal pipe and won’t hold back at all. After Ivan returns, he wouldn’t even ask if you want to be together, as he isn’t going to let you escape. Clearly, you were attracting very bad people, so, to keep you safe, he is going to lock you up in his small cabin, so the two of you can be together happily.

Matthew would be completely enraged. Both with you and him. What, you think he is not enough of a man to protect you? Just watch! He will prove to you that he is enough of a man to protect you and after he is done, he will make sure to punish you for ever doubting you. It seems you were like everyone else and didn’t see his true potential.  When he is done beating the person to death with a hockey stick, he returns to take you away. He was nice before but he won’t anymore. He will take you somewhere far away and teach you what happens when you doubt his skills. I mean, he is even stronger than Alfred! "Hey guys, welcome to my YouTube Channel."

You spoke in front of the camera. Sets of acrylic paint were spread out across the table next to a stand that held an 18x24 inch canvas. You were in the middle of making your seventeenth video, a highly requested one at that, and deep down you were ecstatic to start working on the painting.

Never in your life did you think you would ever start a YouTube account. You always considered yourself a very shy and private person, not one to go out of their way and broadcast themselves all over the internet. Your best friends, however, were two very well-known YouTubers and always found a way to include you in their videos and live streams. Somehow people liked seeing more of you, and so you were convinced by your best friends and the audience to start your own YouTube channel.

But you weren't very accustomed to bringing a camera everywhere with you to document and share whatever was happening in your daily life, you found it too awkward and you were still camera-shy, so you decided to create content in a way that would still keep you comfortable while doing something you loved.

An art channel.

Your channel blew up pretty fast. Requests started pouring in here and there. You became known for your very calm demeanor and artistic skills, so you took this as an opportunity to sell your works online as a way to earn some extra money for your future. Occasionally, you'd do lives to talk to your fans and you were happy at the support they showed you, which only encouraged you to keep making videos.

"This was a highly requested video, and I honestly can't wait to get started," you told the camera, mentally telling yourself to insert the comments and messages you got in your DMs to paint this Adonis-like human being. The requests started coming in after you had an Instagram live where you did some quick sketches while playing some of your favorite songs in the back, and people noticed one of the songs you played was by him.

"You guys also asked if I could sell this painting, but because of the "high demand"," you spoke, adding air quotes, "I'd like to keep it up for auction so the proceeds could go to different fundraisers."

You started mixing different colors in your palette and showed everyone the picture for your reference.

"So, without further ado, today I will be painting Kim Taehyung."

"Hey guys, welcome to my YouTube Channel."

Taehyung watched as you spoke in the video, looking behind you to see a bunch of art materials. The title of the video was left ambiguously, only being named most requested video, leaving him no clue on what it was you were going to create this time.

He's been watching your videos for quite some time now, ever since your channel started rising. Art was one of his major interests and he absolutely adored the way you made your videos with the calming, ASMR-like sound of mixing paint and how you skillfully glided the brush across the canvas. On days when he found himself tired and in need of a quick way to relax, he'd subconsciously find himself binge watching videos on your channel— even repeating several videos since you were only starting. He found it fascinating, but also because he found you interesting.

Because of your channel, he even created an anonymous YouTube account just to leave nice comments on your videos along with a private Instagram account to be able to watch your lives.

Needless to say, he didn't miss that one live where you played the song Winter Bear. It made his whole night, making him sleep with a smile on his face.

"This was a highly requested video, and I honestly can't wait to get started." 

He watched as a bunch of comments started appearing onscreen popping up one by one as they gradually got faster, eventually covering you. It took a moment before it sunk in that he was the highly requested person they wanted you to paint. He paused the video, wide-eyed, before shouting in excitement. Jimin had to come in and check what the whole commotion was about.

"Y/n's going to paint me!" Taehyung exclaimed, his mouth turning into his famous boxy smile. 

"Ah, the YouTuber you really like?" Jimin smiles before sitting down next to Taehyung who continued playing the video, "I wanna see."

"You guys also asked if I could sell this painting, but because of the "high demand", I'd like to keep it up for auction so the proceeds could go to different fundraisers."

"Wow, she seems really kind," Jimin says, while Taehyung only nods, his eyes glued to the screen.

"So, without further ado, today I will be painting Kim Taehyung."

He felt his heart beat fast when you mentioned his name, and without realizing it his ears have gone all red. 

On screen, you began sketching, "You guys have also been sending me a lot of questions lately, which is why I decided to tweet about doing a q&a."

"What questions did you ask?" Jimin asked Taehyung.

"I asked her if being an artist is something she'd like to pursue," Taehyung told him.

"Ooooh, trying to get to know her," Jimin teases, "Our little Taehyungie has a celebrity crush."

Taehyung rolls his eyes but breaks out into a grin anyway, "I just respect her artistry."

"Right, okay," Jimin snickers, obviously not buying it.

Taehyung knew he was telling the truth, though. It was impossible to have feelings for someone who you only knew through a screen. He found you attractive for sure, but he of all people would know that almost no one is completely one-hundred percent themselves on screen. Genuine as you may be, there are still things that are best kept to yourself. He couldn’t lie though, if given the chance to get to know you, he’d never pass up on that offer.

"Someone asked why I don't use that much ready-made paint," You spoke on screen, "It's ‘cause I learn a lot from mixing my own colors, and also I just really enjoy it."

The painting was beginning to come together halfway through the video and Taehyung's question finally made its way to you. "Kimyeontan95 asks, ‘is painting a career you want to pursue? I love your work, by the way’."

"That was basically I love you," Jimin holds back a laugh, earning him a light punch in the arm from Taehyung.

"Thank you so much, kimyeontan95, and no, painting is just a hobby of mine and a way to earn some future savings. I actually really want to be a novelist."

Taehyung smiled after hearing you answer his question. Later on, the video was over and his portrait was complete. He hurriedly redirected himself to the link that was provided for the auction.

Something in him wanted to have that painting no matter what, so he set himself as the highest bidder and eventually had it mailed to his home where he put your work up in his room to cherish.

A day after your video was posted, you woke up to a thousand notifications from your phone. Hundreds of people were mentioning you in tweets and you had numerous missed calls from your best friends and some texts telling you to check your online art shop. You groggily scroll through your feed, a bit confused as to what was happening.

I wanted to buy this painting and I had it in my list, but now it's unavailable!

Thousands of replies began coming in leaving you feeling overwhelmed and confused on where to start. Everyone was telling you to check your site, and so you did. You felt your heart almost stop beating when you saw that every single artwork you had up for sale were sold out. Nothing was left behind. You checked your emails, and the confirmations were there.

How could this have happened overnight?

ALL MY WORKS ARE SOLD OUT?!?!?!?? WHO COULDVE DONET THIS??? You tweeted, hands shaking.

You felt your heart race, a wide grin that could go even wider if possible was plastered on your face. You tried to stop yourself from screaming in excitement but couldn't so you ended up jumping up and down and doing happy dances before calming down to assess the situation. Finally, you sat down in front of your laptop to see where all your works were being shipped to.

Replies started coming in.

Checking your emails, you discover that your art works were all bought by one person. Anonymous. There was no name and someone requested to have their personal information redacted. 

Anonymous? Surely this wasn't a joke?

The person kept their name anonymous. You tweeted and muted the notifications just to allow yourself to focus on finding out who it was that bought everything.

At the bottom of all the removed personal information, there was one username that you were sure you've heard or seen somewhere.

Underneath the username was a short but sincere message.

"Your videos have always helped me wind down after a long, busy day. I can't express how much you inspire me with your talent and how I wish someday you'd teach me to be half as good as you, as I'm not very gifted in the painting department. I admire how you put your gifts into good things, and I very much idolize you in one way or another. This is just a small way of showing my support for you, but also because all your works are amazing and I'd love to have a small room filled with my favorite art works. I look forward to reading works of yours soon, future novelist.”

Feeling the heat creeping up on your cheeks, you smiled to yourself. The letter was definitely heartfelt and you wanted so badly to thank the person who sent it.

Later that afternoon, you decided to go on live to personally thank the anonymous buyer for buying your works and for sending that wonderful note. You fixed yourself up a little bit and pressed live as thousands of your followers began to tune in.

"Hello, everyone," you greeted, smiling. Replies with greetings started coming in and you couldn't help but chuckle at the eager messages your followers were sending. They truly made you happy.

As expected, several questions began pouring in.

"Right, so, I wanted to do this live because of what happened. As you may have noticed, all my works were suddenly sold out which definitely took me by surprise," you started, "Unfortunately the buyer left everything anonymous. They only left what I assume is a username and a short letter, which I will keep to myself for personal reasons."

Your heart stopped at one of the replies. You took your phone immediately from its fixed position with wide eyes and began scrolling up fast because of the immediate replies coming in. Wasn't that the username?

Suddenly the replies were frantic. People were sending keyboard smashes here and there. Only a few of them were actual coherent comments. "What is going on?" You asked as you began scrolling through.

Keeping your live on, you grabbed your laptop as fast as you could to check out the links being sent to your live. When it finally loaded, you could've sworn you'd have a heart attack. 

"Oh, I think she's watching me," Taehyung grinned through his live, holding his phone in front of the camera. He quickly shows the viewers his phone screen, which showed your live of you watching him through your laptop. Your eyes widened and you looked back at your phone camera that was broadcasting your live, then back at his live.

Taehyung started giggling, "I guess we're just watching each other, huh?" He smiled. Behind him were packed and unpacked parcels of paintings you recognized were yours. If it was even possible, your eyes grew even wider at this, "Oh my god," you breathed out.

"I should probably introduce myself," Taehyung spoke, "Hello everyone, I'm Kim Taehyung. How are you all doing? Today I’m planning on redecorating my room after our practice. What are the packages behind me? Oh, these are paintings I recently bought."

"Are those my paintings?" You asked out loud, though you knew the answer. 

"Are those my paintings?" Your voice echoed from Taehyung's broadcast as your live was streaming from his phone. He grinned sheepishly, "Yes, these are your works, I hope you don't mind."

"Not at all," You smiled, "You were the buyer?" 

You mentally slapped yourself for asking such obvious questions, but you just couldn't believe everything that was happening now.

"Yes," he chuckles, "I really love your paintings." Suddenly the sound of Jimin’s voice echoed from behind and Taehyung quickly stood up to lock the door, knowing he’d get the teasing of a lifetime if Jimin came and saw him talking to you.

"Thank you so much, I—" Your voice began to crack and your eyes welled with tears that you tried to fight back, "I really appreciate it. And the letter, that was really sweet."

"No, thank you. Wait, don't cry—" Taehyung spoke nervously.

"I'm just so happy," You laughed while wiping the tears off.

The replies from both ends were coming in like crazy. On one hand, majority of everyone watching found the whole scenario cute and started pairing you two out of nowhere, though there were a few haters on the other. It didn't really bother you, you were just so happy someone you idolized noticed your work.

"I'm glad," he was watching you with a fond smile through his phone, then the sound of the Jin’s voice began coming from outside Taehyung’s room, "Sorry for this sudden grand reveal. I really can't stay on live for too long but I'd love to keep talking to you." He spoke.

"Oh no, that's okay," You spoke fast.

"Do you mind if I send you a message? Assuming you already know the username," he asks.

"No not at all, I'd love to keep talking as well," your heart was beating erratically now. You didn't have to see your face to know how red it was becoming.

"Alright, great. Um, before I end this vlive I just wanna say you're a great artist and to all my viewers watching this, please support y/n's artworks and her channel! If I see any negative comments, I'll be taking responsibility and I'll unfortunately have my agency involved in taking those out," he spoke in a commercial tone kind of voice, "And to y/n, I'll be keeping in touch.” The door from behind him suddenly bursts open and Jin, Jimin, and Jungkook rush inside.

“You were talking to her!” Jimin shouts excitedly.

“Finally!” Jungkook claps.

“Is that why you kept the door locked?” Jin teases.

“Bye, everyone!" Taehyung quickly waves goodbye to the camera and smiles before turning the broadcast off. 

You sat there stunned, almost forgetting you were also on live. You turned to your phone which was still recording you, "That was unexpected."

Suddenly, a notification in your DMs popped up. "I'll go ahead and process everything that just happened now, bye guys! See you in my next video." You ended the live with a wave and smile.

You quickly went into your direct messages and found the same username, Kimyeontan95. You opened it and found a picture of Taehyung holding one of your paintings with a peace sign on his other hand, the other members behind him posing with your other works, making you laugh.

Your heart fluttered at the message below the picture.

I hope this isn't too sudden, but would you like to go out with me sometime?
