To all the people in the fandom who forgot: Buck grown ass man who has no problems with asking people call him Buck not Evan if he wants them. He told 118 when he was super anxious about first day and they pranked him right before it, he told Maddie, he told HIS PARENTS. If I'm not mistaken he corrected A*by too. So you really think if he would be not ok with being called Evan by Tommy he would say nothing? He would ask to be called Buck. But he DIDN'T. Because he LOVES Tommy calling him Evan
Tommy is not toxic or transphobic to call Buck by his given name and not choosen name as he never was corrected

Was thinking about how if you were doing a modern au that yeah keeping Shadowhearts name the same would be a little weird, but then I remembered that I have a buddy I still call by his gamertag. Like Ive known him for years and I know his real name and everything, but he introduced himself as it so that's just what he is now real name be damned

So okay I know I was literally just whining about school a bunch but it is definitely awesome to get to see all my (and I do have some, believe it or not) friends again! The one I was worried about was actually super chill so I think it’s fine now lol. She does have beef with my other friends though and she does still hate the friend I maybe sorta have a tiny crush on.
(Okay so that friend that I might have a crush on held my hand today when we were walking to English class and I stg I was moments away from spontaneously combusting.)
(Ignore the messy drawing lol)
She’ll be yapping about something that annoyed her meanwhile I am no longer breathing and by some miracle she remains completely oblivious.
She keeps doing stuff like this and that’s why we had so many dating allegations last year lmfao

I don't really go here, but good lord if I wasn't already gay seeing the gifs of the queen kissing her spy master(?) certainly would have made me a girl kisser.

Kind of feel bad for people who head into the books after having already engaged- even passively- with the aftg fandom. like there are so many things that are meant to surprise you. the 'oh's. The looking at everything with neil's pov and only after completing the series realizing what a fucking idiot he was at times. The kisses. Those reveals. The thunderclap of "Doesn't mean I wouldn't-***". Somehow, those guys already know all this. They know at the end there's gonna be a pairing, and that kinda takes away the beauty and surprise of it. They know about a game, the deaths, the characters. It's kinda sad they're never gonna enjoy it the way we did

Since it appears I'm not the only one currently obsessed with Inspector Gadget, I would like to inform you all that Gadget's real canonical government birth name is "Augustin Tamare."

i always forget how much i like tödliche tarnung until i watch it again and then it's like OH fuck right. they go haha we're tatort look here see this dead fella? that's fucked up right. now you see this policeman? the one who's new in town? the one where we still don't know what the fuck his deal is? good good now we have ANOTHER guy (this one sells war for a living) make sure you're keeping track. watch him spot our policeman. watch him forget to smile for a second. watch him trip over the wrong name. you know how our dead guy and our weapons dealer are connected? betrayers always get shot in the back and then through the hand. you know how our policeman and our weapons dealer are connected? one used to trust the other, found out he lies for a living, tried to have him killed for spying, for knowing too much. you know how he tried to have him killed? shot through the heart

I just learned today, after a good 700 hours in-game, that it's possible for Aradin and his crew to attack you at your camp in act 3 (through someone saying, paraphrased, that if you enjoy him as a character you must not have played act 3), and I'm honestly so bloody into this possibility now.
Like, sure, on one hand that's textbook fantasy thug behavior and I like that he has the chutzpah to do it, but also... yeah, go on and tell the person you learned was hired to capture the Nightsong maybe three hours into the game, about how the Nightsong is chilling at your camp. Truly, the man who was offered enough money for this contract to have him set for life, and who'd abandon an archdruid and some of his own crew because they got attacked can be trusted with that information.
I'm sure nothing can go wrong if you tell him, he's such an absolutely 100% trustworthy individual. Surely this man has not done anything nefarious or underhanded (such as attacking a person at their camp) in his life. You should also give him a copy of the key to your room at the Elfsong in case he wants to drop by later for tea and crumpets...??????
I know this person likely meant that this is a reason one shouldn't like him, but if anything, I honestly enjoy his character like three times more, now that I know this can happen. He's a greedy, cutthroat, an kind of stupid man who is only an adventurer because his daddy was one, and all he wants is money enough to retire.
He's barely- to moderately hinged. I'm obsessed with him now.
