It’s just… it is everything that Cardan thought Jude would notice his “SO OBVIOUS” exile riddle and thinks Jude to not hesitate to come back. Beside his certainty of her cleverness to piece the riddle together, he believed he was that clear about his feelings toward her; he had thought she absolutely ought to know how he feels for her.
Like oh buddy. BUDDY. Your wife had thought of the answer to your little riddle like you thought she would. But guess what? She has detrimental TRUST ISSUES. (Like… Ur super mean and hot, I can’t blame her.) Anyway.. it’s SUPER adorable of him to so wholeheartedly believe she wouldn’t question his trust. It reveals so much about his pov of thier relationship.
Jude thought Cardan’s (silly) trick was a (vile) trick, when it was simply a: “Im trying to impress/pay you back in kind with our romantic metaphorical sparring and eventually get you out of political drama for a bit,” trick.

hey everyone, i won’t be as active for a while. got home last night super late after being on the road for 20 some odd hours. dealing with some family things and as an older sister, my priority of taking care of my siblings comes first before anything else. being on here is amazing for me but i don’t think i’ll have much time for it. reminder to please treat those in your life who are battling addiction with patience and care. i lost my older brother (sweetest person i’ve ever known and he remained that way up until his last night) to suicide and alcoholism, trauma and ptsd, depression and his feelings of hopelessness. talk with the people you care about. another of my siblings is dealing with the same and i refuse to let it escalate to such a terrifying end twice in less than a fucking year. remind the people you care about that there are beautiful things to live for. show them kindness and love. there is all kinds of misinformation out there but know this, you can make a difference for someone. don’t let them suffer in silence.

since its midterm/final season i wanted to talk about how sashisu would deal with it
i think gojo would be the type to be really talented when he was younger so he's used to goofing off in class and dozing off since he assumes he understands all the information, but when it's time for midterms he's staying up late making study guides and looking through quizlets to cram. he does not know how to study. at all. (he has a reels folder full of study reels but never looks at them) i still think he does very well on his exams though
getou's used to having to work for his grades i think, so he kinda understands the basics of studying and what type works for him. he's very competitive with gojo and will work to get to his level, which is why they often set up study dates. whether they actually get work done during these dates or not is irrelevant. he's totally one of those study with me pomodoro timer fiends
shoko is naturally brilliant, and is one of those students with pull allnighters before the final combining red bull with five hour energy. she definitely falls asleep during exams but somehow ends up doing well anyways, and refuses to get more sleep at night instead of having to snooze during the exam. she's the type to stockpile old textbooks on her subjects instead of using online study options, it somehow works.
after exams are over they fall into a pile on the bed and sleep for 4 days

truly did not expect to come out of my tmi reread a hardcore jimon but i should have known that the second i started ironically shipping them it was over for me
#i could dissect it for ages but i think their reluctant friendship combined with the fact that they are#objectively the two most attractive characters in the series just makes them make a strange amount of sense#like obviously their dislike for each other is mostly for comedic purposes#but its like.... why is jace avoiding physically touching simon after all this time still? even though they lived together etc?#and also the fact that most moments of intimacy between them are framed as either simon or jace 'losing control'#eg simon drinking jaces blood or jace moving in w/protecting simon when he was mentally in a very dark place#it basicallt perpetuates the narrative of jace (mostly jace) having some kind of positive feelings for simon which he prefers to repress#which makes very little sense. because thats his girlfriends best friend. unless there's something else at play there#do you get me. it kind of bothers me that witcher fans don’t really unite under sapkowski’s name like other fans of fantasy authors do (e.g. “tolkien fans”).
in practically any other fandom of fantasy books, save for the particularly rancid authors known for their disappointing and shameful behavior or views (e.g. jk r*wling), it’s just regular business to say the author’s name. but sapkowski’s name is treated like a dirty word in the witcher fandom, for really no good reason…
it must be asked — what is stopping us from doing so?! why don’t we call ourselves sapkowski fans. it would be much easier than saying “i’m a fan of the witcher, but only the books, i don’t consider the various adaptations canon, etc. etc.” … “half a hundred words, when three are enough!!”

trying to figure out the best way to intricately mold a graces roleswap au just for me

there aint ever One Precise Reason as to why a kid'll turn out a certain way: despite the odds daigo grew up a generally-respectable adult while masato grew up to be a spoiled brat.

Amiable is that kiryu was there and im 100% with that#from what there is to gather about daigo's childhood his parents were generally negligent in that they entrusted others to watch daigo#in that daigo wasnt really able to form solid bonds with his parents which. No Shit can really do a number on a kid's psyche#HOWEVER kiryu was there. even if daigo wasn't able to be close with his parents he at least had One positive adult role model#not to mention kiryu was hard on daigo whenever it was necessary. he's what helped ensure daigo /wouldnt/ grow up entitled#masato's case is a little more complicated than daigos though#of course masato had positive parental figures in his life but i dont think masato's self hatred should be underestimated#not to mention masato might harbor a grudge towards arakawa since he might blame him for the reason why he had health conditions#this isn't to say jo nor arakawa were bad parents- i think it'd be insane to try to assert that#we can bully jo about putting a baby in a locker though. we have to do that. butterfly-effect-ass behavior#either way arakawa and jo's 'tenderness' with masato definitely had a factor in him growing up.
