wanted to draw the sleep chart for some reason
#a doodley#talkys#talon and al are light sleepers#talon being the lightest#al's trade off is he falls asleep REALLY easily#talon can usually only fall asleep when the others do since its a more social activity for him#but if he's very tired he can will it#he doesnt move around a lot once he falls asleep#i imagine its all incredibly more difficult in colder weather because#i cant imagine holding someone while facing each other is super comfortable#and talon has that need to burrow his face into someones torso. rly hard to make him give that up in the cold#i also imagine an alternate positioning thats like#[smunker] holding his pillow. talon has his head closer to [smunkers] stomach; in between him and the pillow#so smunker can still hold the pillow and talon can still steal body heat and wrap an arm around#its also a good set up because al and smunker can cuddle for bit before shifting into comfort (right side sleeper; back sleeper) idk i thin#its cute hee hee#also sometimes smunker moves from middle to right#so al can hold talon instead. OR so talon can sleep on top of al#which i also cant imagine being super comfortable but talon loves it

Dorian has always been super specific about his love for Orym.
In the threat scene Dorian says "I care about you more than this" which, I thought before I rewatched the scene, I was misremembering. I thought he really said "I care about you all more than this", making it about the collective, not wanting to leave the group. But no. He said he cared about Orym more than he cared about the crown.
Another thing I thought I misremembered was "no debts between us". For whatever reason I thought Dorian said "no debts between friends" but no. He was very specific with his words and inflections. "There are no debts between us"
"my heart aches that I cannot be there to help you" "sending you fairer winds" "I just like to see you happy" "you're the reason I'm here" "let me comfort you for once."
It has always been about Orym. It has been. It always will be.

#slay the princess#2024#ok im retroactively adding design notes in tags now#i wouldve liked to have Damsels abs out lol but it just looked too silly.#but i like to think as you deconstruct him his shirt gets more and more open until you reach the final doodle with the rigid hard abs#Damsel princess has like extra frills on her dress so Damsel prince here has (gold) trim on his sleeves and down the sides of his trousers#Happily Ever After prince has a cape to kinda evoke the same billowy shape of the big fancy dress#i think the epaulettes on a open chest shirt is kinda silly LOL but i think i made it work somehow#the princess has mascara run down her face so here I gave him like heavy bags under his eyes#also looking now I wish I didnt make his head too big oh well#oh yeah I mentioned this in my first Slay the Prince drawing but I think Damsel would be called Charming instead (from Prince Charming)#but i just kept saying Damsel here to avoid confusion#slay the prince

ooh i’d love to hear about your Jason Todd Hates Gun Batman au. i loved your works with gun batman being the biggest op to Jason’s need for the dramatics
oooh okay so I'm actually super excited for this one so I'm not gonna give away too much but I will say that this is the opening line:
Jason has a lot of questions he could be asking. Why the hell does Batman have a gun? Why is he pointing it at Jason like he actually plans to use it? And why—of all the reckless, idiotic things—did his replacement just step between them like some sort of human shield? But the question Jason actually asks is “How the fuck did you make that thing even uglier in two weeks?”
basically Gun Batman travels back in time to kill someone (currently tbd) before they get too strong except he forgets that the date he traveled to was Jason's attack on Titan Tower until he pops up in the middle of their fight. Tim being Tim decides that Jason is laughably pathetic in his spirit Halloween Robin costume and that gun Batman is the bigger threat and pivots. Jason is initially pissed off about this until he realized Batman is holding a gun with the safety off and all semblance of coherence kinda gets thrown out the window.
I think I'm getting progressively unhinged every time I write one of these tbh

Xie Lian in the first half of book 4 is like Icarus surviving the fall and attempting to put the melted wax back onto the broken wings and some people laugh at him for it.

#twewy spoilers#twewy#the world ends with you#twewy fanart#sanae hanekoma#my art#for the past few character birthday drawings i've been sharing my opinions on the characters themselves#for this one i would like to share the drawing process#you can probably already tell it was a bit different...!#so. honestly. i had no clue as to how i should draw hanekoma#i have always had a strong association between him and the higher plane#in the two years between me first playing twewy and me replaying twewy#i actually kinda forgot that he was a barista? but i remembered everything from the secret reports#which is to say: to me he is very much an Angel with a capital 'A'#so i struggled to find a specific manner to draw him in#the composition i ultimately decided upon was like...#hanekoma leaning in towards the viewer with the airbrush. exactly like in this finished drawing. “hanekoma birthday” and everything#underneath the “hanekoma birthday” the date was written: “3.3.2025”#above hanekoma's head was a coffee cup. spilling out of it was a liquid composed of a lot of different CAT artworks from the game#specifically the mural and the six planets#the liquid divided his face into two for kind of a “two face” look#and the two sides represented his noise form#the liquid also covered the first “3” in the date to allude to the fact that in the japanese version of the game his birthday#is on the 4th of march instead of the 3rd of march like in the international release#ALL of this to say. this initial plan was extremely complicated#when i finally finished drawing hanekoma. i wanted to also draw a background#and by the time i was done with the background i realized that the initial composition was indeed too complicated#such a bummer! right?#anyway! that's all for my silly rambles for now#i will be seeing you all in a few days with something entirely different :)c
