It's 4:36 AM and I can't sleep so I'm just gonna post this dumb wenclair thing I just came up with when I was trying to fall asleep.

Okay so like when Enid comes back after they have that falling out Wednesday says “Thing missed you” and Enid replies “I missed him too.” Cause like they can't express their feelings for each other because they're scared so they use Thing as a proxy and in the end they're like “Thing loves you” or “Thing says he loves you” and then Enid is like “I love him too” and they kiss because they know exactly what they mean and Thing is just completely confused. Like Wednesday will say “Thing says you look nice today” and Enid will be like “tell him thank you” or Enid will be like “Thing says your cello playing is beautiful” and as it keeps up they realize that the other feels the same as they do. Like they slowly escalate it until we reach that kiss.

Here's an example I came up with:

Wednesday: Thing says you look nice today

Enid: what else does Thing think about me?

Wednesday: he thinks you're too good for that brainless stoner, Ajax.

Enid: Really. Does he have any other boyfriends in mind?

Wednesday: he wonders if it has to be a “boy"friend 

Enid: tell him I'm open to other suggestions 

Wednesday: he wonders perhaps another girl?

Enid: does he have a girl in mind?

Wednesday: he does but he wonders if she'd be good enough for you. He thinks you're special for some reason. 

Enid: perhaps he should tell this girl to meet me in the cemetery tonight at 8

Wednesday: he says that's perfect grave digging time

Enid: well I was hoping for a picnic too

Wednesday: he thinks that can be arranged as well

Enid: tell him it's a date

Wednesday: I'm sure he'll be thrilled to hear.

Thing, signing: what are you two fucking talking about?

Rewatching Stargate SG-1 as an adult and just watched an episode that I forgot was debilitatingly tragic!

Like characters die in shows all the time and when it’s done right I feel sad… but I think I need to mourn this one for a few hours

the way hamlet acts in act 5 scene 1 juuuust clicked to me. like my impression was "smh my head he is so toxic, he did NOT love ophelia as much as laertes did, what is wrong with him" but actually i think the thing that sets him off isn't just laertes' display of grief, it's also how everyone takes it seriously. everyone treats ophelia's funeral like a funeral and is sympathetic to laertes and understanding of his desire to jump in a grave with her etc but these same people around hamlet expected him to celebrate his uncle's coronation and move on from his father's death at the same time. in that moment hamlet sees laertes as similar to the actor narrating priam's death in act 2 scene 2 and it makes him SO mad (and he regrets it later in act 5 scene 2 which is after he realizes laertes' emotions are as real as his own. probably why he calls him "brother" as well)

ohhh the change from the game. that joel doesn't find her. that joel doesn't pull her off david whilst she's still attacking him. that she's actually allowed to fully release all her rage and her fear and rightfully brutalise this man who violated her and only after she escapes using her own wits and strength does joel find her..... THAT'S giving ellie agency baby!!!!

I want. Four to get appreciation. Because

Four gave a ton of unnoticed help when Twilight was injured

The fight with Wild was difficult, and I know we're all concerned about his negative view of the shadow crystal

But Four did something that no one else really thought of to help- He took care of Twi's stuff

From the beginning he told Twilight to not worry about them

So Four took care of pretty much everything but the others (that Sky and Wars handled)

He took care of Epona

Which is so very important- he took care of Twilight's horse. After her arrival at the stable Four followed up on her

And for Epona, a horse so attached to her human, having some company can help so much for reassurance

He took care of Twilight's stuff

He got Twi's shield- his bags and equipment, and organized it into one place

And he was worried. He obviously found the shadow crystal while handling Twi's stuff, but his negative reactions to it were out of concern.

Also- because of his placement in this scene

I'm fairly convinced Four was ready to start cooking before Wild showed up (since he's beside the counter with food supplies). At the very least he had the basket of fruit out for everyone -but he was literally standing with food behind him- he thought of everything

And he did housekeeping!

Wars payed for the inn, so Four took care of the inn

Realistically these boys were probably not too concerned with tidyness. Four got all of Twi's things on one table, and took care of the room they stayed in

Organizing tables and Twi's things, having food supplies ready, and opening the curtains- overall he was the one tidying up the inn

Four helped in a huge way! He took care of Twi's horse (Epona is so important), his equipment and shield and bag, as well as the other rooms in the inn

Four filled in all the little tasks that others didn't think of. He helped in ways that were needed, but not obvious

There's a lot of problems with the shadow crystal and with Wild, and I don't know what's gonna happen in the future

But don't forget this- don't forget that Four was one who stepped up in an almost unnoticeable way

Don't forget that when everyone was barely holding it together, Four visited Twilight's horse and took care of his things

No matter what develops in the future- this amount of care shown is important ya know?
