My headcanon is that Ken(Ryan Gosling) and Ken (Simu Liu) ended up together. They had Kenmistry (chemistry).

i’m convinced the only reason that they didn’t have rooster and hangman hug on the carrier after the mission is because they didn’t want a repeat of mav and ice. too bad whatever those two got going on is still somehow gayer than “you can be my wingman anytime” which is already extraordinarily gay

on june 11th 1993, mike wheeler drags his vaguely amused (and highly endeared) boyfriend will byers to the movie theater, shells out for the largest size popcorn they have available, and gets 2 premium, middle-row seats to watch steven spielberg’s jurassic park
(he’s been vibrating with anticipation ever since the first trailer came out. he makes will go see it with him another five times before it leaves theaters.)

"Mr. Zhou is outstanding!" - says The Hollywood Reporter
In a world where machines control reality, the future of humankind is in the hands of the Mantis (Zhou). Who needs to run against the clock to free as many minds as he can before it's too late.

Zura had to get that parachute custom made. Gintoki and Zura ran to the edge of the ship in sync even though Gintoki had no plan for how to survive the fall. He just grabbed onto Zura trusting them to have something up their sleeve or at least haul him out of the ocean if they crashed.

maybe it's just how I deal with cognitive dissonance but I do think "media thing has a lot that can be enjoyed and picked apart and analyzed and you can really see what the artists involved put into that and you can acknowledge what the artists put into it and that some of the messages are things that need to be said and heard and encouraged"
and "corporations will always find a way to use those artists to sanitize the artists message and it's impossible to have a successful Content and you can't project a good piece of content as meaning that the big corporation is Good, because the big corporation will use art to get your money and doesn't believe in anything"
Are ideas that can be held at the same time and both deserve discussion to figure out this shitty part of our culture.
I don't think "ugh X isn't good and people who like it are annoying and falling for the con" is a productive argument but I also don't think "um people can enjoy things and any criticism means you don't think they should enjoy things and everything about this IS good actually" is productive. I'm not smart enough to know how to fix how our capitalist culture has turned art and culture into a commodity, but I don't think the individual people getting shaped by culture is where the ire needs to go, and I also think it's important to on some level be aware that corporations will always find a way to make money off of artists and sell it to you.

uhhhh matsuhana uuuhhhh they put song lyrics up on the tv and analyze while they listen they don’t actually care they just wanna bicker about celebrities and hanamaki’s parasocial relationship with carly rae jepsen that he denies. they put on a whole album get distracted after 5 songs instead they make out or order food or hate(?) watch the kardashians. they write nonsensical genius lyrics annotations and make bets on how long until they get taken down they also do this on imdb they have a joint account (issei has a separate one he wanted to be a film bro in another life but falls asleep 20 minutes into Every movie and also doesn’t want to dedicate that much energy he just reads reviews for movies he hasn’t seen and talks about them like he’s seen them)(hiro does this too but doesn’t read synopses or anything he just lies) and their most watched movie is shrek 2. anyway they make inane theories about relationships and conspiracies in songs like think crazy taylor swift fans that’s them but they’re not invested they’re just bored and laying on top of eachother on the couch.
