Hi Inell I'm so sorry this took forever! Here's a small drabble for u <33

Buck bit down a chuckle. Not even ten minutes ago Eddie had climbed into his lap and attached his mouth to Buck's neck, leaving a small trail of kisses and bites, until he got distracted and was now only rubbing his nose against Buck's jaw like a cat.

He was surprised he wasn't purring, to be honest.

"What got into you?" Buck asked him, wrapping his arms around his drunk boyfriend.

"Nothing," Eddie replied, his hand sneaking underneath Buck's shirt, his hand just resting on top of Buck's stomach. "Well, I guess, you could say I'm just fond of you, wanna be with you."

Buck smiled, turning his head and kissing Eddie's cheek. From the corner of his eye he could see Eddie smiling before resting his head on Buck's shoulder and after a few minutes falling asleep, his hot soft breathing hitting Buck's skin, and his hand still tucked right under Buck's shirt, and Buck was happy to let him stay there for as long as he wanted.

In which Eddie transfers from his station to the Dispatch Center to be the LAFD Liaison, change is hard, staying away from Dispatcher Evan Buckley is even harder and not falling in love with the man is god-damned impossible. Eddie makes his way to a life he would choose and to a family who will choose him back. or affectionately called the buddie at dispatch fic <3

CHAPTER FOUR (read on ao3)

His eyes flicker down and he leans just that tiny bit more.

Their lips are almost touching, almost brushing against each other, the space between them not almost non-existent, so small that Eddie can feel the anticipation rising inside of him, crawling and wrapping around his heart.

"Eddie." Buck whispers, a little bit like an oath. Like something precious that he wants to protect.

Eddie doesn't think anyone ever has said his name that way.

It almost feels like there's a precipice and Eddie is standing on the ledge, about to jump, and hoping Buck is ready to catch him.

"Dad! We're home!"

They jump, Buck withdrawing his leg from Eddie's lap as if he's just been burned.

It’s doing things to my heart!

The fic -Over the course of a year Eddie and Buck exchange various types of kisses but while Eddie is drowning in feelings Buck doesn’t think all those kisses mean anything. Or maybe they do, actually he thinks its all pretty confusing and unfortunately nobody’s talking about it, but Christopher’s had enough and meddles, because that’s what you do when your Dads are idiots!

From a first accidental kiss to one that seals their wedding vows you can never have to many Buddie kisses.

seven sentence sunday

i was tagged by @lilbuddie so here's way more than seven sentences of buck and albert's conversation in the buck's sexuality crisis fic!

“Fair enough,” Albert says, then takes a shot. “Okay, so, end of the night, time to go to bed. What do you usually do?”

“Either make up the couch and go to sleep or go home, depending how much I’ve had to drink or how tired I am.”

“Alright,” Albert nods, then sits back down and looks Buck dead in the eye. “Now imagine he kisses you.”

Buck chokes on nothing. “I - seriously?”

Albert huffs. “You wanna find out if you’re into guys sexually or not? Because you’ve made it a little obvious you’re into at least one romantically.”

“I am?” Buck asks, shock coloring his face. 

Albert laughs. “Dude. You basically just described marriage with Eddie and called it the dream.”

Buck furrows his brows. Is he in love with Eddie in a romantic way? 

Albert must sense his confusion. “Let’s look at it this way. How would you feel if Eddie started dating a new guy and was super happy with him and talked about him to you, how he’s great with Chris and is going to make a great step-father-“

“Oh my god, shut up,” Buck grumbles, irritation bubbling in his throat; he closes his eyes against the images. “I fucking hate it, what the fuck?”

“Because you want to be the guy?”

Understanding hits him like a truck. “Holy fuck.”

“Alright, now we’re talking,” Albert says with barely-concealed glee. “Now let’s get to the sexual revelation. Imagine you’re on the couch, and he kisses you.”

"I - yeah, okay," Buck agrees, and he closes his eyes, because he doesn't think he can do this looking at Albert.

1. dirk gently’s holistic detective agency - i actually think this might be a piece of truly perfect television it is so full of heart and full of wonder and silliness and big feelings i adore it

2. derry girls - comfort show Of All Time, no???? the number of rewatches i logged while struggling through college….. single-handedly tucked me into bed and kissed me on the head every night

3. the x-files - cryptids and SCULLY and an insane lanky man who loves both? also comfort show of all time…… i’ll never finish it though (🤝 fox) i cannot handle endings and im great at avoidance. s05e12 bad blood is the best episode of television to ever air in history

4. our flag means death - absolute nonsense pirate romcom i didn’t have a choice they had me hook line and sinker i even got a silly little tattoo based on it

5. santa clarita diet - maybe the funniest show i’ve ever watched in my whole life! liv hewson i am free for marriage every day of the week

6. sense8 - haven’t actually rewatched this since the final episode aired because it made me cry so much but the mind-connection telepathic link trope is my favourite ever AND they’re all gay kissing on the mouth? no notes

7. gilmore girls - mostly for nostalgia, my brother and i watched it together all through high school and then again after college and honestly fondest memories of sitting on the living room floor eating buttered toast and hollering along to the theme song while our grandma yelled at us to keep it down from downstairs. logan huntzberger little rich boy of my heart

8. 9-1-1 - i don’t know that i’ve ever been this insane about television in my life. y’all know y’all see it y’all live it too…… what’s in the water there at fox tv. generous amounts of love and homosexuality. keep it up
