little freak is one of my favorite songs ever, so i decided to do a reading on it. personally, my interpretation is that little freak is about gender. with my reading, i asked yes or no questions asking if this song was about his gender. as you can see above, i got a yes. when i asked how harry felt about this part of him when he was younger, i got five of cups, the hermit, the hanged man, and ten of wands. all of these together represent a major struggle. we have no idea how old harry was when he noticed this part of himself, but he clearly didn’t know how to handle it. throwing identity problems at any teenager is difficult, but imagine all the pressure harry was under. he was made out to be a womanzier who got with every girl, but on the inside that’s not true at all. he probably hid and pushed aside all of this in the hand because of the amount of pressure, only for him to explore it while out of the band. the reason harry wrote this song to me is a way of him looking back on himself and his journey. the “little freak” being a way to phrase probably how he felt at the time of his journey. he was branded to be the type of person that he could never be. he felt like an outcast. “your delicate point of view” the innocence that he had when he was younger, before all the difficulty that came along. “i was thinking about you” him now, looking back on how he viewed himself when he was younger. “i disrespected you” this lyric really really hits home with myself. as someone who has struggled a lot with self acceptance, it can be really hard sometimes. harry probably shoved aside this part of him and maybe lost himself along the way. harry clearly struggled a lot with self acceptance with what this reading is showing. i’m incredibly proud of how far harry has come with his expression and identity. he’s helped me accept myself in ways that he’ll never know. this is a very small interpretation that i did. it may not be why harry wrote the song, but it’s the way i interpret it :)

Wow I went off- but you need to start recognizing your own unhealthy behaviors, so you can become better and healthier for yourself in your friendships. Eddie grumbled and looked away to hide his blush. His friends, the Hellfire Club, just put two and two together and he knew they were gonna tease him. He noticed you on the first day of school, driving by him with Stevie Nicks blaring from your car. Since then, you've always caught his eye whether you knew it or not.

"She's not just a crystal chick, Mike," Eddie answered, glaring at Mike and the rest of the table. "She's a hippie, I think."

"Does it matter? Eddie Munson likes a hippie!" Dustin added.

Eddie rolled his eyes and leaned back in his chair.

He remembered when you two first talked. You were in the theater room, where Hellfire is usually hosted, and you were doing a tarot reading. Eddie walked in and you looked up at him, a little upset that he messed with your reading.

"Can I help you?" You had asked him, already collecting the crystals and cards you had laid out.

"Oh, uh, my club meets here..." Eddie answered, trailing off as you stood up.

Your outfit was eclectic, but flowy. You had stacks of necklaces on, some with moons and suns, other with crystals. Your rings were the same, you had on bangles and your earrings dangled low. You put your things in your patched up bag and stood in front of him, breaking him from his thoughts.

"You a metalhead or something?" You asked, looking up at him with your hands on your hips.

"Are you a hippie or something?" He countered, a smile pulling at his lips.

You smirked before walking past him and calling back, "see ya around."

With that, you were gone and Eddie had a crush on you.

"Hey, look! Here she comes!" Dustin said a bit too loudly, breaking Eddie from his flashback.

You walked past the Hellfire table with your patched up bag slung over arm and your lunch bag in your hand. You had on beat-up bellbottom jeans with a flowy top that tied in the front, and you had on your usual eclectic accessories. You glanced at Eddie as you passed by then continued to your usual spot.

The other guys went crazy when they saw you look at Eddie, who was still watching you as you reached your spot in the corner of the cafeteria and sat down.

"You should go talk to her!" Dustin eagerly suggested, the others agreeing with him.

Eddie shook his head, picking at his food as a distraction. "No, I...I don't think she would like me. I'm not her type."

"How do you know that?" Gareth asked.

"Have you seen her? She's beautiful and her style is so cool, plus she's pretty smart to remember all those crystals and cards and stuff. I'm just, y'know, me."

"Boo! Enough self-doubt, just go try! You don't know what's gonna happen," Dustin replied.

Eddie thought about it for a moment, weighing the pros and cons. Pros: you'd actually like him back or at least want to be friends with him. Cons: he embarrasses himself and further cements his place as a freak. But he didn't really care. He sighed and got up, the rest of the guys cheering as they watched him walk over to you.

You were picking at your food and reading a book with crystals on the torn up cover. You heard Eddie's footsteps as he got closer and looked up. You closed your book and leaned forward when he sat across from you.

"Hi," he said.

"Hi," you replied, a small smile on his face. Since your first interaction with him, you found out that Eddie Munson was the school freak and the leader of the D&D club. You also found out that he was in fact a metal head and was in a band. You wanted to talk to him more, but you never found a good time.

"I, uh, I saw you walk over here and thought I'd join you," Eddie started, then quickly added, "but I can go if you want to be left alone. I don't want to intrude or anything."

You giggled at his awkwardness. "You can stay. I don't mind, Eddie."

"Okay, cool..."

Because I'm curious now, what are your favorite TTRPGs? One of my personal favorites is the Kids On Bikes system and its variants for their simplicity and ease of access for new players.

so first of all--kids on bikes is very cool. it’s a nice rules-light game with a pick-up-and-play vibe. haven’t ever run it myself but i feel comfortable seconding your recommendation. anyway here’s some of my FAVOURITE TTRPGS.

Blades in the Dark is probably my enduring all-time favourite game. it’s a little flawed in places but its core loop is pure fucking elegance at play. flashbacks (you can spend stress, a metacurrency, to have done something in the past) and resistance (you can also spend stress to evade something bad that happens to you) are two of my favourite mechanics in any TTRPG ever. every player character gets to be a competent badass while also facing real, tangible danger with every moment. not to mention an incredibly well-fleshed out and evocative setting in the gaslamp fantasy nightmare city of doskvol.

Eidolon: Become Your Best Self is a game that dares to ask questions like, ‘what if jojo’s bizarre adventure was good’ and ‘what if persona, also, was good’. characters manifest the power of their souls as weird freaks with incredible powers. the ‘reveal your master plan’ mechanic works much like BiTD flashback mechanic and a smart combat system where enemies get stronger as you fight them really makes this the perfect vehicle for creative character-driven superpower-based combat. if you subscribe to the developers’ patreon you can also get access to the draft of the second edition, which does some really cool fucking things like replacing dice rolls with a tarot draw.

Lancer is the game for people who like grid-based tactical combat. it has incredible tactical depth, well-thought out mechanics that interlace perfectly--and best of all, you get to design and customize your own mech from a truly dizzying array of options to find all sorts of fucking insane synergies between abilities like ‘teleport whenever you attack somebody’ or ‘do more damage the more you overheat’. it also has a very comprehensive suite of GM tools that make it a breeze, and even fun, to create and run a balanced encounter with clearly defined and narrativly interesting goals for both sides. i’m not too into the setting for reasons i’ve talked about elsewhere, but fortunately as long as you can accomodate ‘mech combat’ into your setting, none of the worldbuilding is load-bearing to the game’s core appeal.

Microscope is totally different from a lot of TTRPGs in that it’s noit about playing characters, but about creating a world. it’s a beautiful collaborative storytelling tool with deceptively simple tools that can easily add up into your table creating a world that’s way more intricate and eclectic and fascinating than anything one of you could have come up with on your own. good for creating TTRPG settings but also good just as something to play for its own sake!!

Dream Askew would probably round out my top five, but i’ve just posted about that one here--so instead i’ll give this slot to Nobilis 3e, a game that might not be one of my favourite games to actually play, but is genuinely fascinating to read and sit with, a fucking masterful work of both design and literature, something that so distinctly creates a world and a tone that it’s instantly magnetic. not for everyone, but worth checking out.

Off the bat: So right away, I am getting that this is someone that really had a lot of passion and fire for you. I'm listening to How You Want It by Teyana Taylor (if u haven't listened please go do that asap) and it always gives me the impression of a younger man that wants to prove he can satisfy his partner. Like yeah maybe you have more experience or age but I bet I can still teach you some things.

So this could have been someone that you were more mature than. This could be in terms of age, emotional maturity, or status. You may have initially dismissed this person.

So for the spread I asked, "who have you left your mark on." I wanted to get descriptors for this person. Take it however it resonates, in case some of the roles need to be flipped. So right away, I am again getting the vibe that this person may have been younger or more emotionally immature. Or this could have been someone you dealt with when you were younger and less mature and now you have kind of outgrown them.

With so many defensive and no communication cards here--the priestess, the hermit, page of swords, 9 of wands--I don't think you are speaking. This person may feel kind of scorned by you. The page of swords is also a card I get when someone feels offended/defensive because harsh words were said. I don't get the sense that they are good at processing their own emotions. You may have taken a break so you could each find yourselves again. I do think this person is trying but it is completely new to them.

I do think they feel defensive towards you and like they have to guard themselves. They are trying to look toward the future in terms of their life and figure out what direction to take. They are only at the planning/pondering stage. This could be part of why everything fell apart. There was no longevity, this situation was leading to nowhere. When it comes to 18+ readings, the page cards always give me a kind of in and out, fuckboy energy. They may not mean you any harm but they go about it in a mostly self-serving way. They would probably do anything to have you forgive them just to be let back into the gates of heaven once more lol. Like they are really feigning. You ignoring them makes them resentful and jealous but they can't help but yearn for your attention.

I think the way you feel above them brings out a competitive side. I think they really liked your hips. I think they have a lot of admiration for you. The things that make you guys different is what replays in their head. Communication was a factor in some way. This person may have struggled to communicate on your level. Maybe in the end they just couldn't satisfy you and they see it as a betrayal that you moved on.

Off the bat: This pile is giving me an indulgent vibe. Like you and this person would steal away to just have moments by yourself. You may have been very physically affectionate. I'm not sure if you displayed PDA but in private you were definitely loving on each other.

But you do have a good time together. You may go on adventures together. I have repeatedly gotten the image of a boardwalk. So that may mean something to you. Okay, so after pulling these cards, I almost want to walk back what I said about you both being on the same level. This person seems way more immature than you. You are showing up as the empress, while they are showing up as knight after knight. Even this "big bear, little bear" card gives the vibe of a maturity difference or taking responsibility for another person. For others of you, one or both of you may be parents. The immature energies I keep picking up on could be children. So this person may have kids.

I don't know if you are really entertaining this person. For some of you, this may have been a one night stand. For others, you may have gotten involved with them only to realize they were not who you expected. Their energy feels so unserious. This person may irritate you cause I'm starting to feel annoyed. Its like something is not clicking for them. They want you to accept their offer, even though it is not enough for you.

Again, there is a lot of immature energy coming through. The only page missing is the page of cups. So perhaps you knew this person when you were younger. I think the connection you shared with them changed them in a fundamental way. Pages can symbolize new starts and seeds that have recently been planted.

Akira Kurusu, Yu Narukami, and Minato Arisato Mets Reader Who Summons Their Persona Differently

Note: This is a little bit of swearing and very long.

Akira Kurusu

After hearing about another person running around in the Metaverse, the group was on edge.

One time they were at the Mementos and Oracle detects a presence, a human presence.

Naturally, they thought the person were the Black Mask.

When they met you, they accused you of being the Black Mask

Obviously you were confused, “Black Mask? Causing mental shutdowns? Are you good?”

Then you got into the fight with them

If you used an Evoker, they would freak out. They literally thought you were going to…make yourself sleep forever. The entire team’s heart basically skipped a beat. Akira just stared at you with wide eyes and mouth open.

If you used a Tarot card, the team will be confused. Akira will notice what kind of card will be floating in your hand. The Fool, Emperor, Lovers, etc. You destroyed your Tarot card with your weapon

He got to hand it out to you, you are pretty good. You even got some critical hits, and able to get the correct weakness of Joker's Personas.

You were defeated

However, you convinced them that you were not the Black Mask. Oracle also agrees with you as she analyzes your Persona and their levels and concludes that you would be at a higher level.

The group apologizes, but you forgave them.

You join their group to take down the Black Mask.

You seem to get along with Akira the most. Most likely due to your other friend is almost like them.

You chat to him a how you summon your Persona. Accepting death or accepting yourself.

You help out the group if they are struggling on fighting shadows.

Akira, in turn, helps you out with all the Phantom Thieve stuff.

Being sneaky wasn't the main factor in your last adventure, so you often get caught by a shadow.

Yu Narukami

The Investigate Team was training inside the Midnight Channel when Kujikawa sense a presence.

Believing that this could be the person who keeps throwing people into the Midnight Channel, they immediately went to the area where the presence is at.

The team met you, who was wandering around because you can't see anything.

They accuse you of being the person who caused the killings. You objected to the accusation, saying that you would never attempt to kill someone.

Though they didn't seem to be convinced as they decide to start a fight with you.

If you summon your Persona with a Mask, which is most likely the reason why they thought you were a killer, they flinch at the sight of blood going down your face and the blood dripping down the floor. You seem unfazed by this, which make them a little concerned.

If you summon using an Evoker, expect the same reaction as the Phantom Thieves. When they saw you took out the Evoker. They thought it was a real gun and start to freak out. Pretty sure Yosuke will pee himself. The group will run to what ever object nearby in hopes that the bullet won't go through the object. Instead, you put the Evoker towards your head. Rise let out a shout, which in turn made the team look at you as you just pulled the trigger. Instead of seeing a corpse, they instead saw your Persona. Narukami was wide-eyed the entire event

During the battle, Rise senses another presence. However, the presence was weak and surrounded by shadows.

They stopped the fight after Rise told them that they believed that another victim was just thrown into the Midnight Channel.

Since you were with them while the person was thrown into here, they are now convinced you are not the killer.

You joined the Investigate Team!

Narukami asks you about your previous adventures when he hangs out with you. You always recount the good memories of your old teammates, and how Narukami reminds them of their old leaders.

If you are able to get your old teammates to help you with the investigation, you give Narukmai a nudge, "Don't mess with Kirijo-san/Niijima-san, they WILL whoop your ass."

Minato Arisato

While they were approaching the boss, Yamagishi sense a different presence.

The group got concern considering that ordinary people get stranded in the Dark Hour.

They quickly went to the location, and then they met you.

However, Yamagishi notices that you were quite strong. S.E.E.S immediately thought you were a member of Strega. You objected the claim.

"What the hell is Strega?"

You got into the fight, sadly.

If you summon through a Mask, he will be shock about the amount of blood on your face. It will take a little time for him to get used to it.

If you summon through a Tarot Card, they would be confused as how you summoned the card above your hand. Minato knows the card is, since they appear in his head time from time. Because of the Social Links, he can tell what card you had in your hand.

Kirijo stopped the battle when she notices that you didn't summon your Persona with an Evoker. She tells the group that summoning through a Mask/Card will be near impossible, because it will be difficult to make them function to summon a Persona just from Crushing/Ripping them.

The revelation was short-lived when the boss interrupted the conversation.

You fight alongside the S.E.E.S after that.

You talked about your old members to Arisato. Sometimes talked about your struggles in your adventures, either personal or the fighting.

All of Them

The year got closer to end. You were alone with Akira/Yu/Minato having small talk. You tap their shoulder, and you got close to their ear, "Someone might die in this journey...and a god might be behind all this. Be careful." They looked at you, to see a serious look in your eyes. A look of someone who seen a tragedy... Before they ask about what you are talking about, someone calls you over. You give them a pat on the back before walking over to the person that called you over. They are left to ponder on what you said.

harry echoing the death tarot card is such a nice tie-in with other references to fortune telling or trying to predict the future on harry's house, "reading your horoscope" in daylight itself, "haze on the horizon" in late night talking, "crystal ball" in little freak. tarot readings or fortune tellers as a circus act then brings in the concept of the mv of the circus, the freak show. man i just love parallels

i don't view him as the type to tease you; seonghwa would go straight to the point. the way you would make him feel would leave him impatient and with no time to play around; he would want to get deep inside you right away. i also don't get a power dynamic here (like him being in charge or you). to be honest, i think it would be so overwhelming that you wouldn't even have time to think about these dominance and submission things, also because it wouldn't be necessary – you both would be all over each other.

he would like to make a mess — seonghwa gets sweaty on his own very easily and at this moment there would be no reason to be any different. it wouldn't bother him or you, in fact these things with body fluids could make you both even more excited. he could be the type to try to prolong this fuck as long as possible because he doesn't want it to end and, when it ends, he's already anxious thinking about when you're going to do it again. he has great stamina and would want to do it several times because just once isn't enough to make his desire to calm down.

Eclipse, like the rest of the Black Arms, has no idea what lightning is, and he’s very much afraid of it, though he’ll never admit that openly.

The Dark Arms are able to somehow sense whether a person is good or bad, or whether or not they can be trusted.
