Where I am at in the Salted Fish novel, he’s presiding over fights to the death where at least 100 people get killed for the magical doohickey he offered to the winner and she is…napping on his lap.

God, I love this novel and I love FL, who is completely equipped to be the villain’s girlfriend. Tho neither is at this point yet - she views him as an odd boss and he is so fascinated by her because he can’t figure her out at all - she’s neither afraid of him nor does she want his power or his death or anything. She likes him because he takes care of her and provides good food and comfy bed (that he occasionally crawls into and she’s all - take a comforter - and he’s!!! I have literally been reshaping the world and murdering people and you don’t care?!?!) but it’s like Loki bf a decent employer. And he just - this has never happened.

Honestly, I totally get why he kills so many people - the sect used his clan for magic food and medicine, even eating their corpses and they kept breeding them and he’s a product of two siblings having a kid because they were only ones left and then since the guy died before they had a daughter only they were like “mom now you need to have a kid with your son” at which point mom tried to off him and succeeded killing herself. And then later they imprisoned him in that magic mountain. Like dude - I’d want to murder all the sects too. Not to mention people can’t lie around him so he knows literally everyone around him wants something - his magic or power or w/e. Literally everyone he killed so far would have been alive if they didn’t covet something. But she’s like that pet snake - she doesn’t want anything from him other than an occasional meal.

This said, there is no way this novel is not getting massively changed for the drama - how much of the above sound like something censors would allow?

“one game Stark and then we’re leaving.’’ You warn him and you both help deposit Loki onto the couch, him sitting down with a plot before you took a seat next to him, your wings tight and your body tensed as your brain replayed what happened between you two just 5 minutes ago.

‘’people don’t want to indulge in your fucked up party games Stark.’’ Loki growled.

‘’ohh look who’s adopting human language now.’’ Tony laughed before he turned to the group and the sound of dice could be heard in his shifting hand.

‘’it’s simple, you pick a partner now, each takes one die and comply with the actions that’s read on them.’’

‘’I’m surprised you know of the word comply.’’ Loki scoffed.

‘’if we pass?” you pipe in before Tony could snap back at him.

‘’then shots it is. I figured I wait for this one while we’re all a little intoxicated to better the odds of not wanting to drink more’’ Tony chuckled.

‘’yeah, that’s the reason.’’ Steve rolled him eyes, coming up to the group as he took a seat across from you.

Loki’s hand instantly rested on your thigh, his thumb ghosting under your dress ever so slightly as your cheeks redden and gripped his wrist. No good, even against you. He was a god, strong, and intoxication made things all the more difficult.

‘’woo!’’ Tony hollered and downed his glass with a small cheers, some of us shooting him looks to quiet down while Bruce’s eyes grew big, as did something else as Nat bit her lip and closed her eyes.

His thumbs stroked over her dress, not exactly sure if he was to stay over her dress or reach in while he began shifting in his seek and taking deep breaths. ‘’H-How long do we-‘’

‘’as long as you want big guy.’’ She purred before Tony chuckled.

‘’bout 30 seconds at least, we all wanting some action. I’ll go first-‘’ Tony laughed and scooped up the dice, snatching up a bottle on the table probably just as fast as Banner moved his hands away and blushed, looking down.

Natasha smiled and held his hand, noticing as Bruce scooted closer to her while Tony rolled the dice in his hands and grinned down at the rando chick.

‘’alright babe, here’s yours’’ he then handed her a die and they both rolled it on the table.

He seemed to really enjoy the view, or at least more of the action and you wondered if he was picturing you. Did he want to do those things? Did you want to do those things? The more you thought, the redder your cheeks got before the light nudge at your shoulder brought you out of your thoughts before you realized Stark was holding out a die for you.

‘’your turn pretty bird, you spaced out there.’’ He winked and tossed Loki the other one into his lap.

Taking each of your dies, you couldn’t bring yourself to look at Loki as you both rolled them in your hands. You could see in your side view though Steve shifting with an unreadable expression while he leaned forward just a little while Loki rolled his die on the table.

Your heart rate sped up as your cheeks reddened, practically hearing a small smirk across his lips while you debated on just taking a shot. What happens if it was something obscene? Erotic? True you could always go to the closet.. but did you want to do any of this stuff? The thought of the both of you on the dance floor though came back and your heart fluttered in your chest. Your hands gripped the couch below you at your sides, shyness creeping over you as you blushed and raised your glass to your lips, mainly to by yourself time to think as you downed it before you set it aside. ‘’..seems innocent enough..’’ you said quietly, your voice still a little unsure, Steve noticed as he went to try to interject again.

‘’then relax darling, and let me take care of you..’’ Loki murmured, obviously drunk as he disregarded everyone around him to where he felt like it was just the two of you alone. And Rogers.. ohh he was going to make him watch it all as he scooped up your hands and raised you to your feet.

His hands then found your waist, turning around gently so your back was facing him before you moved your hair to the side, cheeks red and heart pounding. It was just a simple kiss on your back, nothing mo-

You suddenly felt him move forward, his hands guiding at the same time where his shove made you land on your stomach on the couch, a wing hanging off at your side while your hands gripped the couch to try to sit up, push up position.

Loki wasn’t having it.

You could feel his knees rest on either side of your thighs, a hand gripping your hip to keep you still while the other hand rested at the couch beside your shoulder to support his weight while he hovered above you. You could feel his body heat hover over yours, your teeth biting your bottom lip as you buried your face in the pillow while you felt his hand leave your hip and brush his finger tips against your skin just between where your wings met your back.

You shivered, tensing your body in anticipation where your hearing seemed to leave you again to where you could just feel. You could feel his thumb stroke your skin, gliding just below your winged appendage and rest before you felt parts of the couch dip below you, indicating he was bending down.

Holding your breath, you felt his lips brush lightly against your skin at first, a light open mouth kiss before he pressed his lips softly against your soft flesh. A small hum left his lips, vibrating your skin as your fingers tightened their hold of the fabric below you. His tongue gently stroked between kisses while his eyes flicked up, a smug look shooting right into Roger’s soul as he glared daggers right back before he ran his hands against his knees.

‘’its suppose to be brief.’’ Steve hid the attitude in his voice as Loki raised his head, his body still over yours as if a wild dog protecting it’s kill while he smirked.

‘’uncomfortable Rogers?”

‘’no- but you didn’t opt for the closet so that’s enough.’’ He reminded and Loki chuckled as he placed his hand under your jaw and lifted your head up, his own hovering just above yours as the both of you looked at Steve. You squeezed your eyes shut in embarrassment while Loki looked on with his lower body purposely lowering closer above your ass.

‘’uncomfortable darling? I think you rather enjoyed that..’’ he purred and Tony spoke up before you could figure out what to say.

‘’okay Reindeer games, its someone else’s turn now.’’ Tony lightly warned, aka get a room before Steve gave a challenging look.

‘’actually I think everyone had their turn so it’s time to switch partners. Y/N will be fine.’’ He smirked.

Tony, oblivious to the whole thing pointed quickly at Nat. ‘’I call the widow-‘’

‘’Bruce with Tony’s partner, I suppose that just leaves you to watch until next round’’ Steve sighed with a mocking tone while Loki growled and sat back, Y/N scurrying quickly out from under him before sitting down like nothing had happened.. despite how red faced you were.

‘’perhaps we should try instead-‘’ you started.

‘’don’t be silly, just one more round won’t hurt.’’ Steve waved off and took the pair of dice, placing on in your hand before he rolled it and set it on the table, keeping eye contact with Loki at all times until he glanced down to read it.

“suck.’’ He smirked and his eyes flicked to Y/N who slowly rolled the die in your hand with widened eyes.

‘’it could be something innocent-‘’ you started and as you opened your palm over the table, Loki caught the die in his hand and stood.

‘’I do believe I have drank to much darling, and wish to retire. Unfortunately, being stuck together, seems you have no choice.’’ Loki said with a serious tone, keeping his eyes on Steve as he took your wrist and pulled you up.

‘’could always sleep on the crash while we continue’’ Tony shrugged, finding a desperate solution so he could have his chance with Nat while Loki shook his head.

‘’not a chance Stark. I believe she’s getting rather tired herself.’’ He said and you raised a brow.

‘’if you don’t like the game Loki, you could just say so-‘’

‘’I think someone’s jealous.’’ Steve smirked, liking how riled up he was getting him as he looked over at Y/N. ‘’speak for yourself Y/N, there’s always solutions even if you are cursed.’’

Loki gritted his teeth at him and his use of the word ‘cursed’. It wasn’t a curse, it was the only blessing he got in this second life, let alone his first that he got to be stuck with the most gorgeous woman in the nine realms. Call it selfish, but he was far from caring right now. The thing about drinking with a god, adrenaline had its way of working with the alcohol rather than against it and with brief balance restored, scooped Y/N right up and over her shoulder. He wasn’t going to have teleportation get in the way of getting her pried away from the vanilla soldier.

He ignored your hands hitting his back, to draw his attention, not to hurt. You flailed, doing your best not to move to much because of the view onlookers might see so you had no choice but to squirm. Loki was far stronger and with the adrenaline pumping amongst the booze, there wasn’t much you could do.

The time you eventually get out of his arms was because he had set you down- more like tossed.

Right onto a mattress.

My son is having trouble with key lime pie. Actually. He’s having trouble with the concept that most of the world’s key lime pies are the wrong color.

He’s grown up in Fl. Key lime, real key lime is yellowish with the slightest hint of green. But it’s basically yellow. The he first thing you are told when you move to Fl is don’t eat any key lime pie that is green. A green pie is not actually a key lime pie. Those are yellowish.

My son only recently found out that most of the world eats neon green key lime pie. He found this out via the tv show Loki. He asked me what kind of pie was in the automat. I told him key lime and he didn’t believe me. Like. Not at all. He got mad. Everyone knows key lime pies are yellowish and totally delicious.

While he is correct, real key lime is yellowish, for the rest of the country key lime pie is neon green. He was convinced that the depiction of a neon green pie in Loki was a joke.

We are thinking of moving to Chattanooga and was looking up a restaurant that is highly recommended. It’s Uncle Larry’s which appears to be a soul food joint. They have a key lime cake, pictured above. It’s neon green.

I showed this picture to my son to prove to him that this neon green is what everyone not inFL thinks is the color of key lime. He pretty much threw a tantrum of just how horribly wrong it all is.

At least now he knows the truth. We were not lying to him and neither were the people who made Loki.

I decided you guys are gonna get special little sneak peeks as I create the choreography, work on trying to build the Tao Mandala shield props, all the weird little extra things i couldn't help but buy to use at the cons (Eye of Agamotto sipper bottle - needed it!), and other behind stuff like me dying my hair to look like Strange.

Frankly, most people in my daily life are unaware of my Doctor Strange obsession, lol, so I thought you guys would appreciate all the little nuances.

i would say music inspires me the most, it’s inspired most of my art and writing. i love to journal (like junk journaling) and i’ll always add my fav songs/lyrics at the moment & sometimes add little drawings or something.

as far as place my fav place is St. Pete on the opposite side of my town in FL, it’s a very art district-y town & the vibes there are immaculate *chefs kiss*

my love language IS gifts both giving & receiving - i give very thoughtful gifts tied to tiny nuances of the people i love so i love getting that energy back tbh so anything that makes the other person think of me

in general i like crystals! or tarot/oracle decks, really anything witchy - and ofc mugs & blankets are ALWAYS good presents lol

What’s Wrong With My Princess

GAWD THE WAY I LOVE THE GROWTH OF THE FL AND ML

I’m weak for two very broken and traumatised people learning to trust each other and rely on one another. Add to the fact that there’s a lot of face slapping in this one — and I do enjoy me a good face slapping — there’s just a charm to this that is so satisfying.

In short, the FL transmigrated(?)/reincarnated(?) back to her wedding night with the ML and aims to live her life differently to take revenge on her enemies. I mean. You can sorta see where this is going, but it makes for a good dinner time watch.

I honestly don’t watch as much shows as I used to. Adulting takes up a lot of brain space haha… but this is one I can recommend. Other shows that I am duty bound as their fan to recommend are Love Between Fairy and Devil (still hands down one of the best OSTs in the game), Word of Honor (the OSTs I will always sing at the karaoke bar) and Nirvana in Fire (the one I will do annual rewatches for because it is THAT GOOD).

They’re soooo good and if you’ve not watched them before, you should! All episodes are available on YouTube for convenience.

I’ve also been following season two of Loki and I’m liking it this far. Lokius is so cute and I deeply enjoy the aesthetics of this show and honestly, post Endgame, this is the only thing of the MCU that can keep my attention for more that a sigh.

As Loki walked up the front path of his home he realised he was smiling. Happiness suffused his entire body in a way he had once though impossible. He opened the door and as he closed it behind himself he looked out the hallway window, the last of the summer flowers in the garden swaying in the breeze. He could hear Chess humming, and his smile widened to a grin.

He walked up the stairs, a rough section of the bannister rubbing against his hand for a moment until his magic smoothed it. One of the treads creaked under foot, until that too, was magicked away. The afternoon sun blazed through the upper windows and through partially closed doors.

He could hear the humming more clearly now, a classical tune that Chess had told him reminded her of him. He walked along to the end room and pushed open the door, and he was bathed in the warm sunlight. A few more steps and he was stood by the rocking chair, looking down at Chess as she held their baby daughter to her breast.

Her small mop of black hair stood out at all angles and she was trying to focus her large, blue eyes on the world around her, but was fighting a losing battle against her milk stupor. The delicate eyelids finally fluttered closed, the small pursed mouth falling away from his wife’s engorged nipple as the infant succumbed to sleep.

Grabbing a cloth from on top of the changing table, Loki placed it over his shoulder before taking his daughter from his wife’s arms. Resting the child against him he gently rubbed and patted her back, Chess smiling up at him as she tucked herself away. The babe let out a sleepy hiccup and Loki moved her so he could cradle her in his arms. Chess stood, arms around Loki’s waist, snuggling into his side as he looked in awe at the child they had created.

“Has my little Hel been good for her mama today?”

“Do I need to remind you again that her name is Helen, and yes she has been good, although you shouldn’t prescribe the notions of good and bad to a baby.”

The stood together for a while, looking out of the large nursery window as the sun slowly set on the early autumnal afternoon. Loki settled the sleeping baby into her crib for her nap, before fully embracing his wife.

“I was thinking, ildflue, that when we feel ready to give this little one a brother or sister, I would like to be the one to carry it. I know that we would need help with that, but to carry a baby, nurture a life like that, it’s just something I would really like to do.”

He fell silent, wondering what Chess would think to that plan. But she just held onto him tighter and lifted her face for a kiss.

“I think that I would love you even more pregnant. The way you loved me round with our child, I would love you the same. In fact the very thought of it is quite arousing. Although I’m not sure the reality of living with a hormonal you for 9 months has quite settled into my brain yet. But, let’s wait until this one is a little bit older, yes? I feel that I might need some proper sleep before we consider a second.”

“Well she is sleeping now, you could have a nap too – you know, sleep when the baby sleeps?”

“But if I went to sleep now I would miss out on you making love to me”

“Well, if you insist?”

“I do. Your Valkyrie demands it of you, my prince.”
