Norse Mythology in pop culture: Machiavellian manipulator Odin buts heads with chaos entity Loki as they manipulate and murder those around them ina bid to destroy and dominate the nine realms with ASoIaF level political plots and a foreboding prophecy of doom hangs over their heads.

LOKI AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY FUNNY TO DISGUISE OURSELVES AS DWARVEN PROSTITUTES AND INFILTRATE THIS GIANT KING'S PALACE BUT NOW LOKI IS PREGNANT I'M ENGAGED TO SEVEN DIFFERENT GIANTS, THERE'S THIS HORSE! Some notes:

Without getting into too much detail, the idea I had was that in the past the style was more of the 80s rock scene, while in the present it’s evolved a little into the classic Memphis fashion that we all think of when we think of the 80s. If, like me, you wish there was more than just Lyf’s outfit to portray all this, you can perhaps imagine the mechs prison gang decked out in the most garish 80s style you can imagine.

Music inspo: rock music! While rock wasn’t invented in the 80s, it was a transformative time for the scene, especially for hard rock and heavy metal. It was a little hard choosing the 80s as the time period without leaning in to the psychedelic shapes and colors, especially when my mom said it didn’t look “80s enough”. I did try to incorporate some of the Lovecraftian aspect, but I think I could have done more in that sense.

The fashion style is meant to be a mix of 1000 (Norse Mythology) and 1980s (rock scene).

I Have Written Books!

Hello all! I'm happy to FINALLY announce the reason for why I've been so quiet this past however long, and that's because I was busy writing books! Books that are now published!! :0 Wow!!!

These are the first two of the series, one on Odin and one on Loki, and they go into dang near everything I know about each of them, respectively. These books are also beautifully illustrated by the Saxon Storyteller, so you're in for a real treat!

So far I know they're available on Amazon, but I'll keep you all updated on where else you can find them, when I know!

Apparently they're available at most major retailers including Barnes & Noble, so you can get them ANYWHERE you want!!! WOW!

LOKI SPOILERS!!!

SO ITS A TREE RIGHT???

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Norse Mythology, there is a tree called Yggdrasil. Now I’m not super familiar with it but it’s generally known as the Tree of Life that houses all the nine realms and every living soul, and is incredibly closely associated with Odin. THIS. IS DRIVING ME CRAZY.
