“I am wearing a vintage London Fog trench coat from Stella Dallas, a secondhand floral catsuit from OPC in Brooklyn, vintage silver jewelry and western stud detail belt, with Marni biker boots. I like to call my style pantone punk, an aesthetic ideology rooted in joy rebellion. I love playing with bright colors (mostly primary colors and/or jewel tones), bold patterns and silver jewelry/accessories, to create looks that aspire to feel simultaneously playful, tough and chic.”
finals are next week, so it's just review time for me in most things. im reading all of ch.14 for apush tonight, but if anyone has tips for how to study for calc or chem, dm me :/
Steep your Earl Grey tea and lavender flowers. Ideally, you'll want to do this for five minutes if you are making this drink iced - that way you'll have it just as strong as it would be if you were to make it hot.
While you're waiting, steam or froth your milk of choice.
Once you're done, remove lavender and tea sachet from your newly brewed tea.
From here, put ice in a glass. Add vanilla syrup, as much as you like! I personally like it sweeter.
Pour tea over the ice, this will cool it and make sure that the syrup mixes with the tea.
Add milk, stir.
Add the vanilla cold foam or whipped cream.
Add a sprinkle of nutmeg on the top for garnish.
Enjoy!
Extra Tips and Tricks
Steep lavender and tea for longer if you'd like it stronger!
Add espresso shots to balance out the sweetness and floral notes of the drink!
Add extra edible flowers on top for garnish if you want to be a little fancy.
