REVIEW OF YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY SHOWER GEL: This product smells exactly like D'Fluff Shaving Cream!!! The strawberry smell is strong and sweet. The consistency of the shower gel was rather liquidy, but it did still last. Compared to other products, this did not larger very well. I would still recommend this product to anyone who loves D'Fluff! Rating from 0 (terrible) - 10 (amazing): 6

Jersey Bounce Shampoo

This is an amazing shampoo from lush, and is probably my favorite. It is a shampoo with salt, linseed, honey, and egg. All of the ingredients are great for your hair! Now this obviously isn’t vegan, which is of course, is a downside. This shampoo adds tons of volume, softness and shine! I regret buying the smaller container! I give this product a 5/5 stars.

Secret Arts Jelly Bomb Review

I had my trepidations with buying from the new Jelly Bomb range from Lush Cosmetics. 

Don’t get me wrong, I have always been a Lushie from the tender age of sixteen. I even worked for the Spa store in Bath during the Christmas of 2014. So I will always be loyal to the products, and the brand. I love the message of looking after each other, whether you have two legs or four. 

That doesn’t mean I don’t get hacked off with things every once in a while. 

Lush decided to cut loose quite a few products, including some of the products that I was mad about, such as Fizzbanger, Frozen and Oral Pleasure Toothy Tabs, in order to make room for this new range and some others. 

When I decided to relent, and purchase this particular bomb, I said to the assistant that I was worried about the potential mess, staining, as I dislike the idea of my housemate/support worker getting frustrated about yet another mess in the bathroom, not to mention that I take baths to relax, and don’t want to spend time cleaning up after myself. She promised me that they wouldn’t be that bad, and I walked away with a Secret Arts bomb. Afterall, I was literally just about to finish Goblet of Fire, and a Harry Potter inspired bath treat wasn’t about to go amiss. 

I plop the bomb in the water, and enjoy the myrrh like scent, mixed with the scent of Blue Skies with Fluffy White Clouds bubble bar. The water turned black, and the jelly felt as weird as it did when I poked at it in store. I get in, and bathe. To be fair, this is where I did find some pleasure, as the water was the softest bath water I had the delight to bathe in, and my skin still feels stupidly smooth as I write this at nearly 1am. I found the scent sweet, but not too overpowering. I popped on Mask of Magnaminty, and finished Goblet of Fire.

I stopped being happy with the product after I drained the bath. 

It was filthy. 

I’m not even kidding. 

The jelly that was supposed to have been dissolved, globbed up in clumps at the bottom of the tub. There was a faint rim around the bath. It took me a good while to clean it all off with a loofa puff that I won’t be able to use again. 

The mess didn’t stop there. I found some grey residue from the jelly on my chest, which I doubt was meant to be there. 

All in all, a massive disappointment. I personally feel that Lush decided to experiment with a new sensation, something that is more of a novelty and a fad, that won’t stick around for long. That said, I have only tried one of the four permanent bombs in the range, so maybe I just need to give one of the others a go. And I did like the way my skin felt after I dried off. 

RATING = 1.5 Stars

Wouldn’t buy this for myself.  The scent and skinfeel post bath salvaged this slightly.

LUSH REVIEW: con un dia de retraso, hoy os hago review de las tabletas dentifricas “Limelight”. Son un sustituto a la pasta de dientes tradicional, menos agresivas e igual de fresquitas 😊 hay diferentes sabores, aunque a mi me van los mentolados. Formato: tabletas secas de polvos prensados en un botecito de plastico reciclable. Olor: en este caso el sabor és lima-limon, aunque hay muchos mas. Experiencia: el modo de uso es coger una pastilla, masticarla (sin tragar!) y cepillar con el cepillo de dientes mojado para crear espuma. En mi caso incluso con media pastilla tengo suficiente, asi que dura el doble. Repetiré?: Por supuesto! Este es el tipico producto que hace dudar, porque estamos muy acostumbrados a un formato concreto sea la marca que sea. De hecho yo los probe la primera vez con sabor a rosa y no me gustaron demasiado... porque tenia que haberme cogido un sabor mas fresquito, claro! LUSH Almond Kisses.. put this on after my mask. Really intense moisturizing cream. Stays on top of the skin for quite a while. Best suited at night I think. Smells wonderful if you like almond scents.
