1. Can’t Go Home Again by Mable. This is a MikexMarionette fic which….I honestly read as it was being updated. And it’s a slow, SLOW burn. So by the time romance even sort of became a thing I was like ‘??? Hell, I’ll try anything once.’ This version of Mike and Mari has got to be my favorite out of the knight guard universe. I don’t ship them in MY story, but in this version? The romance is much more a deep emotional friendship and the two are so close and protective of one another and it’s written SO well. Foxy is also an insanely awesome character in this, too. There’s plenty of interesting arcs. This whooper of a fic is sooo amazing. It’s pretty long, and has a in-progress sequel.

2. Upon Daybreak by LadyGodessofAnubis. A long fic with sequels! The world building is spot on and the author uses all the characters super well. This does have some mention of child abuse/molestation in the later stories(?) but if I recall every chapter has proper warning ahead of time. I don’t remember anything graphic, but be aware this is more mature in themes. Mike and the gang are written very well, and have a slow build relationship that I wish I had done better in Devil’s Spine. In the Daybreak series, you believe the characters and their responses, and that’s one of the reasons I love it and the fic…just, stuck with me.

3. My New Best Friend is a Murderer by Midna3452. a Springtrap/FNAF3 fanfic! Spring is Afton in this one, one that’s personality is actually a bit….salvageable, let’s just say. The night guard is an oc, and honestly a really cute guy. It’s older, (2017) so lots of lore has been released since then but this is my favorite FNaF3 fic. It’s one of the few(only?) where I feel, even a tiny bit, for Afton. (Which is a fucking accomplishment. I love to hate him as a villain far too much.)

Unfinished/Likely Abandoned:(I’m weird about reccing fics I know are abandoned wips. So if I DO recommend them, it’s because they’re THAT good. And I apologize in advance because these fics are. Amazing.)

Concert problems

I have a band that I have loved for the longest time. They have been there with me through everything, and I was practically screaming when I found out they would be coming to the USA, more specifically my home town. My closest friend is also a fan of them and is going to go with me. The problem is that the tickets sold out extremely fast and we were only able to get really bad tickets in the back. But since I love this band so much I was willing to throw everything into buying front row tickets from another seller, but my friend wasn’t willing. (I am a senior in high school so we are mostly dependent on our parents still) She has some problems with money, and her parents are only willing to pay x dollars, which is a huge amount, but the front row tickets have gone up to x. She is one of my closest friends and one of my only friends and I would never want to ask her or try and pressure her into having to pay that much but I feel like crying when I think about the fact that they will be in my city, so close, and yet I won’t get to truly see them and experience it, and probably never will after this. I have thought about just buying front row tickets anyway and trying to explain all of this to her, but I don’t want to hurt our friendship. This band matters so much to me that I don’t know what to do. I’m just so scared because I’ve always had difficulty making friendships much less finding people who are into the same things as me and I don’t want to ruin it. Please help me out, thanks

Sorry if this reply came a little bit late and the concert is over…

I’d like you to keep in mind that if she is your best friend she’d let you sit in the front. She’d understand your predicament and she would be understanding even though you want to be there for her. You do not have to sit next to your friend during the concert. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you should take it, and your friend should be understanding of that.

I think what you should do is sit down and explain exactly what you have just typed in that submission box. Tell her how much you love this band, and how much you treasure your friendship with her. As your close friend she should naturally be okay if you asked how she’d feel if she sat alone behind whilst you sat in the front. She shouldn’t have to pay more than she feels she is comfortable with or that she can afford, but the least she could do is let you be in the front.

I don’t know much about the politics around here as they aren’t really within my, er, territory?  But from what I’ve seen he seems like the kind of person who stands for everything I’m fighting against.  I’d definitely kick his ass if I could.  I’ve probably kicked the asses of better men than him in the past, so he certainly has it coming. 

Here’s hoping your home country doesn’t have to be added to the list of “countries with terrible, shitty rulers” alongside my own home country.  (I still can’t get over the fact that Stelly is king now.  That little shitbag is actually king.  Dear god.)
