So I didn't end up painting last night, instead my partner and I played a quick pick up matched play game of Kill Team, their Blades of Khaine vs my Nemesis Claw.

It was a super close game, where they beat me 17-16. I really like the vibe and strategy of the Claw, they felt really cool to play, and now I feel like I'm really ready for the narrative campaign on Sunday.

Tonight my goal is to try to paint one of my Claw!

Started up totk again after a good few months away (sibling took the switch) and AAAAAGH I forgot how incredibly good this game is.

The graphics, the enemies, the map, the scenery, the npcs doing their own little thing, just the concept of lookout landing has me so so happy.

Like, we did that. Our people did that. They took this ancient stone symbol of all the chaos - the place zelda swore link into her service as the hero, where the champions grouched and groaned among themselves about the coming threat, a group of like minded individuals but not yet a team, the triforce carved into the stone underneath them - this now useless remnant of the past, and turned it into this dazzling little quasi village, filled with people of all ages and races and types.

Everyone is so determined, so brave, working together to make something so much more than they could have achieved on their own. They're moving forward of their own accord. Making something of the rubble. Working out how to manage the sudden loss of metal weapons. Taking initiative!!!

I'm just,,, I'm just so proud of hyrule now T-T. They're taking so much of the weight of the future, THEIR future, and now Link has saved the kingdom again he's got time to mess around taking photos of fish to fill up his compendium.

[Bloodborne playthrough #5]

Things are going well, I think. My beloved Threaded Cane is now +9 and the only thing separating me from Micolash is arachnophobia (ugh).

Still don't understand how I'm doing this but I got The One Reborn on first try. Killed Patches in the Lecture Building for no reason except him being a spider. Oddly enough he was still there in the Nightmare Frontier: I had fun throwing pebbles at him to make him fall (yeah I'm that petty).

I don't know if I should tackle the DLC just yet. I still have the Nightmare Frontier, Cainhurst and the Upper Cathedral Ward (I hate brainsuckers so much) to finish too.

As far as bosses go: tried Logarius once, almost won but ran short of blood vials; also tried the Celestial Emissary once and got obliterated by lasers somehow. I suppose I got careless but my Hunter shall have his revenge.

Good thing is: I have a ton of rather pretty screenshots because I can't help being a tourist in plague-ridden cities. There will absolutely be posts once I sort these out!
