Y’all, I’m watching El Tigre to learn more about it right after writing a bit for the next Eudaemon chapter, and this happened-

Okay, first let's address the elephant in the room. I know I promised more Christmas fics to some of my mutuals before the holiday proper. Now, those promised fics are in the works, but life has a crazy way of overwhelming. And my holiday season has been just that. So when I've had time to write, I only managed to focus on one fic wholeheartedly, and it's this one I'm sharing with you today. 

I know I shouldn't have promised the moon and I'm truly sorry for disappointing.

And now that that's been addressed, here's the plot summary of this fic. 

On one fateful morning before Christmas, Norman and Deja receive a Christmas miracle. That miracle being the sudden resurrection of Harry. Realizing that this is his chance at the closure he so desperately begged for, Norman (and Deja) go out of their way to welcome him back with open arms. And the two invite him to spend the holidays with them and Deja's family and friends. But what happens after Christmas? Will Harry be allowed to stay or will he have to return to his eternal slumber he was awoken from?

From the files of one Manuel Morales on the oddities that live in the town:

Photo 1: A rather tall, odd, and almost sickly looking young man Photo 2: A very handsome looking young man Photo 3: A woman dressed up for a night in the next city Photo 4: A rather spunky individual that seems to be trying to fight a man Suspected current names: Nila, Philip, Quinn, Remy, Bianca, William

The number of people that seem to live in the blue house have been bothering me. 

It’s a two bedroom, had belonged to this couple Richard and Kelly Smith and their two boys, minus the part where Kelly had left him and took the kids. Or at least that was the story I heard from old Jimmy. Richard still lived there though. 

Except we found Richard dead in the cemetery behind the abandoned church four months ago, along with his face missing. 

DNA was the only thing that really identified him, and calling Kelly was... haunting. I still think I made the right decision to not tell her what had happened, but that wasn’t the weird part. The weird part was the next day when I saw a woman leave the house. 

It hadn’t been up for sale, impossible when repo jobs don’t hit the market for another year around here, but she introduced herself as Lacey. Nice woman, an artist, wanted a change of scenery to help with her inspiration. Said that her brother Dan was moving in the next day, too. Military type, just discharged, surprisingly well tempered... 

Never saw them together at the same time. Suppose it made sleeping with them less weird, but that changed when I saw the update on a missing person’s case on the news. A couple: Lacey and Daniel Thompson. 

Except they found them in a shallow grave somewhere off the freeway. Faces again missing. 

And it’d happen again, like clockwork. Caleb, Spencer, Yelena, Kenji, Min-soo... all missing, yet all living here. All missing, some found, but their faces always torn off. 

What the fuck could even be possible of this kind of thing?
