I like the idea that Wukong also uses glamours to hide his many scars and his red eyes, but if you wanna take it one step further you can also say that he doesn’t have mirrors in his house since The Incident with Macaque

No fucking buts... ಠ_ಠ
marked because of SPOILER FOR MANGA CHPT 114
*bites thumb and draws blood circle on floor*
Even if it's rather unlikely Matsumoto goes to actually kill his protag but still.. I AM TAKING MY COUNTER MEASURES HERE!!
ALSO LOOKING AT YOU, MINA. JUST DON'T. NO ONE FUCKING DARE TOUCH HER!
*bites thumb and draws blood circle on floor*
Taking the most powerful spell I know, formerly performed by my most admired web artist, my bigges role model, who's art accompanied me for so many years when I was a kid/teenager.
Gabzillaz, grant me the power to save this fictional character that I oddly dedicate a disturbingly large amount of my time to (╯°□°)╯
"No. U no dead."
OK, sry for the rip-off of a years-old pic, but to me she saved Hinata and therefor I need this, I need to believe.. I... I can.. *sweating*

hello yes i have more data for your polling of lesbians about wilson
as a lesbian myself i do not think that i would do him if he were a man. because yknow. lesbian. but if wilson was genderbent? sure. is he as attractive to me as other women on the show? no. cuddy, thirteen, and amber are all much more my type. do i think he'd be a very beautiful woman who i would want to be in a relationship with? yes. now, genderbent house... that'd be popular among the girlgays.
i love the wilson stretchmark idea. make that man a tiger. you've established that his forearms get big af but do other areas also get swol? because i've never seen forearm stretch marks (i mean i'm not the arbiter of stretch marks but i've got a good deal of anecdotal experience being a certified tiger-woman myself) which i assume means that bodies require a lot more for marks there (i have stretch marks on pretty much everywhere except my arms and i've seen upper arm marks but again not forearm) so surely if he's got stretch marks on the rut-swollen forearms he's also got stretch marks elsewhere? idk. maybe this is Not How Stretch Marks work. but wilson with purple (eventually fading to not-purple but IME they start purple) striae all across his back and hips and ass and thighs and knees and pecs is something i think would be nice. i also think that House would enjoy the bumps. nice added texture and that man is fidgety af.
is wilson insecure about them. do those creams even work (never tried i embrace the tiger). or is wilson like "hell yeah i'm a masculine manly alpha man with bigass muscles every few months and that makes me look like i've been mauled hell yeah"
-🎸
wilson's arm marks aren't on his forearms, they're.... actually i'll make a diagram
(tbh he probably has them on the back of his thighs and his ass too)
i'm full of stretch marks as someone who loathes lotion texture and only got fatter after puberty so trust me
he's super insecure about them even if in reality it's a sign he's in good health. to him they're just unsightly. imagine his surprise when what got him feeling better was a talk (lecture?) with house when house explained in that smartassy way of his that no one outside of wilson even cares, but if they do, it's not because they think he's ugly, but because they wonder what he must look like in rut to get those marks. not that they're gonna see them at their most visible. house has a monopoly on wilson and he's bad at sharing.
house is weirdly comforting sometimes if one knows how to read between the lines

I think nearly all of lewis' aloof persona is carefully constructed, as is his over the top style in the paddock. He's extremely good at distracting ppl or showing only what he wants to. He mimics vulnerability but he's hiding the stuff he's really vulnerable about. All the woowoo spiritual "ohhhhh he's so GENUINE" stuff is also a front (see how kate wagner talked about him).
ooooh bold take and as a fellow mimicker of vulnerability to hide the stuff i'm really vulnerable about, i'm into it!! i understand from your tone that you don't mean this as a particularly good thing but i personally am here for interesting/compelling characters in the vroom vroom soap opera and don't care too much if they're Good People ™ or not lol. (and thank you for the reminder that I still haven't gotten around to reading that Kate Wagner article!)

Okay but same, coulple weeks ago I was going thru Dottore x readers and none had the pronouns of reader specified and it was getting so good and then boom "she" and "girl" or "woman" and yeehaw dysphoria and on top of that is that it happened fic after fic for a solid 10 fics before I closed the app and just started fucking crying
Like I don't think authors are aware of how hurtful and damaging that can be.
I feel like an asshole saying this but, uhm, hello??? Women of the internet get down from your fucking throne you're not the only ones here??? Many other people exist too and many other people want to read fics and feel loved by their blorbos????
It's okay if you can only write for women but fuck sake tag and specify because you all keep bypassing tag and word blocks that way and genuinely putting me and many other people under severe distress???
Or like when the fic says gender neutral reader but then you get hit by the female pet names, like sure some people who aren't female identifying like them anyways but not everyone???
Don't hit me with the random princess?? Royal, your highness and such are there and also real fucking good????
Like seriously, would it kill to keep the fic 100% gender neutral if you specify reader as gender neutral???
Sorry if this got heated but like, lord crying and having a breakdown because you can't find male or gn readers and in turn feeling dysphoric to the point where you get dragged down the hole you did not want to go back to kind of ends up in me getting heated at such topics
Specially because you're literally the first blog I see to talk about this issue, like seriously it's 2023 how is this not common knowledge😭😭😭
i’m so sorry you had to go through that lovely :( and it’s true! i’ve been reading a lot more fics recently and there’d be no tags of anything before i start reading, and i always make the mistake of assuming that it’s simply gender neutral 🙁
i’ve seen a lot of fem creators making the default gender of the reader female, and i’m not saying that we shouldn’t have fics with feminine readers, obviously, but it’d make our community better to tag ur fics w the gender of the readers youre appealing to! if u leave your fics untagged, readers should be safe to assume that it’s a gn!reader fic. it’s not a hassle to add a warning

i recently started using a monthly/weekly planner like what i used to use in school to keep track of my assignments, and aah it feels so good! i feel Organized. i have things Written Down and i can carry this around and i can mark things off and keep reference notes. it feels a little silly because i feel like im back in school and im not using it for class assignments, but it's doing me good.
digital to-do lists and trackers helped in the past, but their efficacy wore out for me years ago. having this physical record is so so good.

I've got to headcanon that Dorcas was the one who killed Wilkes. I know Moody says it was 'aurors' but lets say that Alice and Frank took the credit/blame so the Order wouldnt be investigated.
I just want her to have gotten something out of that revenge mission (which is also such a great hc) before she faced Voldemort.
