I think I figured out why I like Bucky so much...

As some one who feels deeply for few people at a time and thus only has a couple of friends but tries for them to be very good friends, I long to have someone who's gonna be with me "til the end of the line".

In the last few years, I had two friendships that meant everything to me, that made me believe that I had finally found those people and then I lost them to stupid little things or because, turns out, I wasn't their person after all. And it is exhausting and heartbreaking to think that you have found friends for life only to then find yourself alone after an argument or because all of a sudden, there's this new person in their life that's fresh and exciting and maybe that person can give them something that you weren't able to. It's hope-shattering to give your all to your friends or to people who you hope will become your friends and then to get pushed away or forgotten when you're no longer useful or shiny and new like that toy you always wanted to get...

And while this might be a "normal" part of life - for people to come into and go out of your life constantly, to only share a part of your time in life - I've always struggled with good friends just leaving. I've always hoped that at one point there was gonna be a person who chooses me to be "their person", the one they wanna spend time with until the end of the line...

And I think, whether you wanna see it in a romantic or in a platonic way, Steve was that person for Bucky for a long time.

I mean, they followed each other into war... it was Steve who got Bucky to wake up from the hold HYDRA and the Winter Soldier had on him and to fight to get back to Bucky.

Steve even risked a "civil war" with his teammates to defend Bucky, his best friend since childhood, and then went to the ends of time to get him (and the other half of humanity that got snapped away by Thanos) back from wherever the snap sent them... [I could go into how, because of all this, Steve's ending in Endgame was just all wrong in contrast to how his character was set up before, but that's not the point of this post]

I think, Bucky, as do I, longs for someone (or a group of people) to choose him and to stand by him, to honour their pledge and be with him until the end of the line. Because, deep down, that's all Bucky has done to the people around him, too! The people that have meant the most to him. I think that's so blatantly obvious by the "I love you, Buddy" following his pep-talk to Sam in the hospital in CABNW. He deserves people, who will love him for who he is and who do not judge or despise him for what he was made to do or for what they were made to believe him to be. I truly hope, that Bucky has found this person in Sam and that he gets to find some more in Thunderbolts*, because he deserves to be chosen and to be loved and to be cared for!

I just noticed that the tattered ends of Lauriam's waistcoat made sense when I realized it was just inspired by the design of Marluxia's second and third form in Re:COM.

In his second form, you can see the black cape is also tattered behind the Specter.

And in his third form, before the fight starts you can also see the tattered ends on the platform (that kinda looks like a black cape too from afar) where Sora was standing.

also micah is so sporty and roughhouses and fights sm that's he's really strong and charlie is very light so micah can pick him up with little strain. mainly when they're playing with micah's siblings, he'll just pick charlie up and swing him around. micah does the same with his lil brothers and sister and charlie loves watching him play with them so so much. charlie is so sappy

outfits: rosa’s big three for her outfits are, any type of skirts (preferably a miniskirt), low rise jeans and boots/platforms. rosa always tries to look her best and be presentable and she's honestly slightly obsessed with shopping, so she has a large wardrobe, not just from shopping but also from sponsors/modeling. If she's going for comfort, she likes to wear mom jeans, sweatpants, jean or cloth shorts, fleece pullovers, hoodies, sweaters, cardigans etc. For everyday clothing, she likes wearing jeans, skirts, baby tees, button down cropped blouses, long sleeves, sundresses. For special occasions, she likes wearing shorter dresses with tights, or slacks with corset tops.  

accessories: rosa mostly accessories with bags, sunglasses/non prescription glasses, jewelry, and headwear. Such as, headbands, hair clips and pins, baseball caps, berets, bucket hats. She likes including ear muffs, scarves, leg and arm warmers. She’s very creative with wearing accessories but it really all just depends on her outfit. She also loves getting her nails done, she prefers when they are short and she likes almond nails the most. 

jewelry: she enjoys both silver and gold but mostly leans into gold. Again it really depends on the outfit she is wearing. She doesn't like overusing jewelry and having a lot on at a time, especially with her everyday life. She likes having a few bracelets and a thin watch on, a few rings and of course a necklace and her earrings. She has a lot of different types of rings, mostly vintage ones. Her favorite jewelry pieces are her mood ring, her charm bracelet, her pendant necklace, and her lucky gold hoops. 

makeup: rosa isn't the biggest fan of having makeup on, especially on her face because it makes her feel uncomfortable. She's a big fan of curling her eyelashes and using mascara, and eyeliner (on her waterline as well) . She likes using a little blush but her cheeks are naturally rosey so she normally uses blush in the winter, maybe sometimes even a little highlighter. She does always have something on her lips, lip gloss, lipstick or lip tint, mostly pinks and nude shades.

rosalie hughes was born on a beautiful day in orlando florida 

initially ellen and jim were told by the doctors that rosalie was going to be a boy, and it wasn't until late in the pregnancy when the doctors realized that they were wrong. 

the family were extremely happy to be having a girl though, especially quinn! 

growing up rosalie was very much a daddy’s and mommy’s girl, she was very attached to her parents, never wanting to be away from them. 

when rosa was 5 she was put in ballet and she continued to dance all the way until she was 15, ballet, jazz, contemporary and modern. 

rosa was introduced to modeling when she was 14 

but when she was 8 and until she was 14 she played hockey, but she stopped because she wanted to focus on modeling and acting 

rosa found her love for fashion designing when she was 15, through modeling and acting 

when she was 13 rosa made her debut in acting as a main character in stranger things season one, playing the younger sister of steve harrington 

through middle school and highschool she was apart of her theater club

rosa skipped a year in highschool so she graduated the same year as jack 

in the summer of 2019 rosa started filming for outer banks, acting as a main character for the show, playing as John B's younger sister.

HEY I HAVE MORE INFO (aka: finally came up with stuff for some other characters)

Kairi is the daughter of Ariel and Eric (because red hair and her name means sea so i thought it was fitting!) She's the same age as Sora and they are childhood besties

When Riku moved to Auradon (after the events of D1), he and Sora got really close really fast, and Sora introduced him to Kairi and Namine. Riku tends to enjoy Namine's company, since they're both introverted and neither feel a need for small talk, but the four of them get along really well.

Speaking of Namine, she is the daughter of Fairy Godmother, and Jane's younger sister by 5 years (so she's 1 year younger than Sora & Kairi)

Roxas and Ventus are the sons of Cruella and younger brothers of Carlos (Ven is 2 years younger and Rox is 5 years younger). They're in a similar situation to Riku, where Carlos had them brought over to Auradon shortly after the events of D1. Roxas and Riku have beef kinda like Uma and Mal did; I'm still not sure about the details yet though. They tolerate each other for Sora's sake though, and eventually they come to (begrudgingly) see the other as a friend.

Xion and Vanitas are the kids of the Evil Queen and younger siblings of Evie (Vani is 3 years younger and Xi is 7 years younger) Similar situation to Riku, Rox, and Ven. Ven and Vani have a friendly rivalry, while Rox and Xi are inseparable besties even once they join Sora's friendgroup, and they bond quickly with Namine

Axel/Lea is here too! He's the son of Hades, so he's half-brother to Mal (2 years younger) and Riku (4 years older) He (and Isa) act as "babysitters" for the younger kids (even though Vani is only a year younger than them)

nobody really knows who or what Isa is, just that he's on the Isle and that he's Lea's boyfriend and also is a werewolf that can't transform because of the Barrier (and when the Barrier gets taken down.... well.....)

The main story (so far) takes place 4 years after the events of Descendants 3 so this means:

Axel/Lea and Isa are 20, Vani is 19, Ven is 18, Riku is 17, Sora and Kairi are 16, and Rox/Xi/Nami are 15

(and where the first post in the thread says the fic takes place 5 years after D3, that's wrong, it's supposed to say 4 years)

Riku is Mal's younger brother and Sora is Ben's younger brother, both by ~6 years (so Riku is 10 in D1, 12 in D3 and Sora is 9 in D1, 11 in D3)

My fic (even though it's changed nothing has to change) takes place about 5 years after the end of D3, so Riku is 17 and Sora is 16

Neither Sora nor Riku are very close with their siblings, because of the age difference and also because of all the Canon Movie Drama

Despite this, Mal still arranged to have Riku brought over to Auradon after the events of D1, mostly because she couldn't stand the thought of him being alone and basically orphaned on the Island. (yes Hades is still there but she does Not want to leave Riku with Hades lmao)

Riku and Sora are both transmasc, because I said so. Riku has a bit more angst about it though, since Maleficent always pressured him to be more like her.

This is also why in aforementioned fic, Riku's whole angsty moment is about wanting not to be like his sister; he wants to be his own person now that Maleficent isn't around.

At some point in the au, due to [undecided circumstances], Riku gains the ability to transform into a dragon :) he.... is not entirely pleased about this.

kyra ramble.

i think kyra having some teen girl in love scenes this season was so important. throughout the show we've seen her as super badass and strong. of course i love this side of her because we need more female characters like that!!! unapologetically badass. however i sometimes feel in media often the female characters are reduced to one or the other - fierce or soft. anyway let me get into it

this season she of course had her usual fighter energy that we all know and love but she was also given the opportunity to be soft. to be vulnerable. but the main thing here is this never ever took away from her strong-willed personality that's been so well developed over the past seasons. yes girl you can fight and risk your life and be brave and be strong and fierce and clever but you can also love and be delicate and be a friend and a lover and be soft. she doesn't have to be one or the other anymore she can be both and she is both and that is so important!!!! she was NEVER portrayed as weaker or less valuable than any of the male characters and when being a girl in love is often a way to subdue female characters and put them aside as the love interest her relationship with alex never caused her fight to die down if anything it just made it stronger. im so grateful to the writers for the amount of strong females in this show (ky, mrs jones, jack etc) that were never ever reduced because of their femininity. kyra was portrayed as so much more than alexs love interest and the way their love story never reduced kyras strength as an individual was delivered effortlessly. if you can't tell from this account or my twitter i am obsessed with kyra and alex as a couple but it's also so needed that she wasn't just thrown in as the love interest straight away. kyra was given her own story her own personality and her own background she was never just the girl written for alex to fall in love with and that is something so special that more shows need to get behind when writing women and relationships. props to everyone behind the writing of kyra and especially marli siu who delivered her story perfectly. in short having kyra added to the show has been so incredible and im sure she'll be a role model to many young girls growing up who will now have the show as well as the books that a lot of us had in our childhoods. its been so refreshing to have an original female character written in who is shown so strong and so unstoppable but also is unashamedly loving and soft when it's needed, without dulling her previously mentioned qualities.

How is Loren enjoying how far the leafs are going in the playoffs right now and William playing a little more aggressive than what has been seen before?

Ooof, well Nonnie - this answer is a tough one to write this morning after the loss last night, I gotta be honest.

Loren watching William in this series probably mirrors exactly what Leaf fans have seen and felt - especially as a "Willy girl"...then add about a million to that. Seeing him play in as many home games as her schedule would allow this season, she's seen a lot - everything from the excellence to the ugly.

But seeing him (and hearing him for that matter) during the scrum against the glass or taking a bad penalty, Loren's natural instinct is to worry about him. He's 200+ pounds of almost nothing but muscle so he can handle a punch to the face or a whack across his shin pads. She's seen the bruises from some of the blocked shots. But every game - especially in the playoffs - she knows he's a prime target that the other team wants to take out. One bad fall, and it's a totally different situation. So worry and pride are her two constant companions during these games of late.

So, with Game 6 now on his birthday, in Ottawa's barn no less, she's had to condense the very intimate birthday celebration plan - sort of like a highlight reel of what she had in mind before he has to leave again.

With the Marlies losing and Alex unsure of what the future will hold for him, the mood around the Nylander compound right now is pretty quiet.
