Hello my lovelies a simple homecooked heart warming plant based Gardener's Pie. It was easy to make, oil free and gluten free. You can use a variety of different foods and herbs to give the taste you like. I keep it Diabetic and Reactive Hypoglycemia friendly ensuring its low in saturated fat to avoid any sudden glucose spikes. As according to various studies and @masteringdiabetes. An unhealthy build up of saturated/hydrogenated fat causes insulin resistance. This leads to a build up of high blood glucose levels and a whole host of complications risking diseases such as diabetes type 2 strokes, cardiovascular disease. If your recipe is stored in Paprika Recipe Manager 3, you can easily find it there and then remember exactly what the name is. My beef with MyFitnessPal recipes section on the computer is that you can not search your recipes. It is so easy to enter the recipes into MyFitnessPal and log them. If you put the recipe in there, you can find it.Ħ. You can search by name, ingredients (including several for example: ¨rice, lettuce, tomatoes¨if you are thinking of a recipe but can´t recall the name), or search in the directions, desciptions, notes. It is an amazingly fast way to collect recipes you want to try, especially to focus on recipes that fit within the way you are trying to eat.ĥ. If you go about saving several recipes of things for breakfast, you can drag and drop all of them into your breakfast categories at the same time. In addition to typical categories, for example, I made a ¨masteringdiabetes¨ category for myself that I tag any recipe that meets the criteria they use (plant based, low fat, etc) I also made a smoothie category. Later you can edit the recipe to put it into the catagories you have created. You choose to make any category you want, and can organize it with nesting any category under any other. The built in browser has a place for you to save all your favorite food blogs and sites.Ĥ. It also saves the webpage where you found it and has a built in browser, so you can easily find what blog it was from and look at the cooking lessons related to the recipe if it was from a blog.

With Dr McDougall’s Fat-free Golden Gravy! 1-1/2 cups vegetable broth 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 tsp onion powder 1/3 cup brown rice flour (ground up uncooked rice) 1. Create a slurry by adding a bit of water to the rice flour. 2. Combine all other ingredients and bring to a boil. 3. Slowly stir in the slurry. Continue cooking and stirring until sauce is warm and thick with no lumps. I also added grilled onions and mushrooms to the gravy, making it extra savory and succulent! Well said, and worth the read 🤔👌 ・・・ It’s been almost 5 years vegan and I’m still waiting for the migraines to come back. I’m still waiting for my stomach to give me problems again. I’m still waiting to gain the yearly weight we’re “supposed to” every year as we age. Still waiting to be protein deficient. Still laughing at the too skinny perceptions & that I need to eat animals to be strong comments. Still drinking my green juices daily. I didn’t die after fasting off juice for 40 & 30 days. As a matter a fact I came back stronger than ever. More clear than ever. On my intentions & my mission. I look around & find people 5 years back who thought I was crazy are those same people now pushing vegetables down a juice chute and cheers’n me after. I’m not special, but I am consistent, persistent & passionate. This IS NOT vegan propaganda, I’m not getting paid to write this stuff I’m just stating facts. I reversed life long ailments on a Plant Based diet. My mom reversed heart disease on a Plant Based diet. A friend from Chicago named Laurie Arnold reversed cancer TWICE(when given a 6 month death sentence),w/ the Gerson protocol(Plant Based diet). I have the honor of working @masteringdiabetes retreats where type 2 is reversed very quickly on a low fat, Plant Based diet. Dementia? Can be healed with a Plant-Based diet. So WHY isn’t this the standard American diet? A diet that reverses & prevents damn near the top chronic disease killers? Because doctors would be out of buisness. Pharmaceutical companies would be out of buisness. There’s no money in telling you juicing celery will heal your gut. So instead they tell you buy everything pink, wear pink ribbons, walk for a cure, run AWAY from the cause & continue eating (fast & processed foods, animal products) & doing the things causing these diseases that have us getting our bodies injected & cut into. You’re crazy for going vegan, but not crazy getting triple bypass & other temporary bandaid procedures. Price how much surgeries, heart and cancer treatments are. Hello lovelies sorry for the delay in posting. I've been managing to prevent spikes which is really great.With the type of RH - Reactive Hypoglycemia I have, my cells are having trouble accepting glucose into the cells. So when the glucose can't get into the blood it stays in the bloodstream. This causes the blood glucose also known as blood sugar to spike and this causes hyperglycemic symptoms. Then the RH attack occurs when the spike drops faster than it should. This makes the blood glucose levels drop down too low causing adverse symptoms such as Hypoglycemia symptoms. This book is a review in progress but the information contain herein is very user friendly. Insulin Resistance is a consequence of too much fat in the body. Somehow despite my being vegan never taking sugar in drinks or cereals and being very slender & petite doesn't mean you can't improve your health ❤️ feeling fairly motivated & looking forward to finishing the book..thanks for the awesome information Dr's Cyrus & Robby its helping me have less spikes & Hypos 🍏🙏😎Having my cannabis meds for the night as the pain is too you know.. I am feeling pretty saucy with my homemade sauces this week. 💃 I label my sauces with alternate colors between weeks, which gives me an indication of how long the sauce will last. This week I had a little leftover barbecue sauce that I added to kidney beans to make barbecue beans, and I made some coleslaw using a fresh batch of tofu mayo. I had primarily used the “cheese” sauce for a Vegan Mac & cheese dish, but I enjoyed leftover sauce on my potatoes & vegetables. The recipes for the #Vegan mayo and the #highcarbhannah potato cheese sauce are in my previous posts from the last few days. Following is the #recipe for the yummy & simple barbecue sauce (which I previously shared in my BBQ Jackfruit post). This delicious smoky sauce is also my favorite dip for air fried French fries. For yummy barbecue sauce, combine the following ingredients: 1 6-ounce can tomato paste 1/4 cup maple syrup 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar 1/2 cup water 2 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp cumin I also made a creamy Italian dressing, but honestly it’s not worth sharing the recipe. I haven’t yet found or created a yummy recipe for a creamy bean-based salad dressing (I prefer it not to be nut-based due to the higher fat and expense).
