What the design guidelines like Material Design (MDG hereafter) has tried to achieve was first to serve the interests of google, which it was created for and by. Then, and consequently, it was to create a sort of web-literacy for the end-consumers of WWW. This web-literacy means basically creating habits of usage for people that consume basic every day information and go around in different platforms meanwhile, without continuously consuming and producing data.

The World Wide Web is a giant jungle. Everything is just a noise factor in an infinitesimal cosmos, just as is in the nature itself.

Let’s first deconstruct why Material UI is not a good fit for most applications, well at least for the rest of the 21st century.

“the whole idea of the structure was to showcase the culture of truth and transparency of the company. The building was designed to create a ‘sense of security using transparency and not opacity’.

the ground floor is designed for public use to increase social activities and interaction by connecting all three adjacent streets. the permeable public space is designed to draw in wind and movement along with the people from the streets.

the tower facade is covered by 186,000 carefully patterned ceramic rods. the double skin curtain wall consists of ceramic rods which are placed at an average of 18 inches from the glass wall; at eye level of employees the pattern spacing is wider to provide a view towards the city and street.

In this article, I want to show some ascpects of my profession. I am a developer who works with the nes user experience of SAP®. SAP® has created a user interface which is less complicated than the classic one. This new interface enables to work more fisceral and even to work out of the office on a mobile device like a tablet or a smartphone. This new UX is called Fiori® (Italian for flower) and the apps, which are used in this interface are based on the JavaScript and HTML5 library SAPUI. The styling and the structure of the documents are based on the newest web development technologies. And the design of the apps was inspired by the MaterialDesign® of Google®. For example: There's a option to work offline changing data. As soon as the user goes online again, the data will be automatically updated in the target system. The apps interfaces are easy to manage and a user only gets apps for the tasks he or she has to perform according to the role thus user has. In the presentation below, one can  see the advantages of this new feature of SAP. In the original presentation I've added a wayfinder (navigation) and was too lazy to delete the slides for this online version.
