Friday the 13th (2009) will be released on 4K Ultra HD on September 17 via Arrow Video. Gary Pullin designed the new artwork for the Platinum Dunes remake; the original poster is on the reverse side.

Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) directs from a script by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason). Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, Aaron Yoo, Amanda Righetti, Travis Van Winkle, and Derek Mears star.

The limited edition set comes with a booklet featuring new writing by Matt Konopka and Alexandra West, a double-sided poster, and a Crysal Lake postcard.

A group of oblivious teenagers choose Camp Crystal Lake as the destination for a weekend getaway. Among them, the young Clay Miller (Jared Padalecki) is not looking for fun and frolics, but for his sister Whitney who disappeared around the lake six weeks earlier. The trip turns into a waking nightmare as the bloodthirsty Jason emerges from the shadows, wielding a deadly machete and out for blood. Eine Nachricht von einigen trans Mitarbeitenden bei Tumblr und Automattic

Wir wollen, dass sich trans Personen und Mitglieder der LGBTQ+-Community auf Tumblr willkommen fühlen, auch weil wir als trans Personen bei Tumblr und Automattic wollen, dass Tumblr ein Ort ist, an dem wir selbst uns dazugehörig fühlen. Wir wünschen uns, dass diese Plattform uns unterstützt und sich für unsere Sicherheit einsetzt. Tumblr wird durch eure Anwesenheit heller und lebendiger, und die LGBTQ+-Leute, die hier arbeiten, setzen sich kontinuierlich intern dafür ein.

Vor einigen Tagen hat Matt Mullenweg (der CEO von Automattic, der Muttergesellschaft von Tumblr) auf die Frage nach einer Account-Sperrung in einer Weise geantwortet, die sich negativ auf die LGBTQ+-Community von Tumblr auswirkte. Wir sind der Meinung, dass Matts Antwort auf diese Anfrage und sein darauf folgender Kommentar ungerechtfertigt und schädlich waren. Die Mitarbeiter:innen von Tumblr äußern sich aus verschiedenen Gründen nicht zu Moderationsentscheidungen – unter anderem, um die Privatsphäre der Betroffenen zu schützen und weil es hier um Tausende von Meldungen pro Tag geht. Der Nachteil dieser Politik ist, dass sich Gerüchte und falsche Informationen über Maßnahmen unseres Vertrauens- und Sicherheitsteams sehr leicht unkontrolliert verbreiten können. Aus diesem Grund möchten wir einige Aspekte dieser Situation klarstellen:

Die Fakten über die Sperrung von predstrogen wurden nicht richtig vermittelt und erweckten den Anschein, als würden wir versuchen, transfeminine Menschen auf der Plattform zu verbieten. Dies ist nicht der Fall. Der Beispielkommentar, der in dem oben verlinkten Beitrag geteilt wurde, entspricht nicht unserer Definition einer realistischen Gewaltandrohung und war nicht der ausschlaggebende Faktor für die Sperrung des Accounts.

Matt erkannte danach nicht den Schaden, der der Community durch diese Sperrung entstanden ist. Matt spricht nicht für Mitglieder der LGBTQ+-Community, die bei Tumblr oder Automattic arbeiten, und wir wurden bei der Ausarbeitung einer Antwort auf diese Ereignisse nicht konsultiert.

Letztes Jahr wurden die Community-Label "Für Erwachsene" und "Sexualitätsbezogene Themen" fehlerhaft auf einige Einträge angewendet. Ein externes Team von Vertragspartnern, das mit der Kennzeichnung von Community-Labels beauftragt war, war für diesen größeren Trend der falschen Kennzeichnung von trans-bezogenen Inhalten verantwortlich. Als unser Vertrauens- und Sicherheitsteam dieses Problem entdeckte (vor allem dank Berichten aus der Community), haben wir dem externen Team die Befugnis entzogen, Community-Labels zu vergeben, und die Kontrolle verstärkt, um sicherzustellen, dass so etwas nicht mehr vorkommt. In unserem dazugehörigen Eintrag drängten die LGBTQ+-Mitarbeitenden auf mehr Transparenz, wurden aber von der Geschäftsführung überstimmt. Die in der ursprünglichen Antwort auf die Frage erwähnte Kündigung eines Auftragnehmers betraf einen anderen Vorfall, der fälschlicherweise mit diesem Fall in Verbindung gebracht wurde. Die Darstellung von Transitionsverläufen verstößt nicht gegen unsere Community-Richtlinien und wurde vom Moderationsteam bei der Diskussion über Sperrungen und anschließende Einsprüche nicht berücksichtigt. Wir gehen nicht gegen Inhalte vor, die sich auf Transitionen oder trans Körper beziehen, es sei denn, es handelt sich um Verstöße gegen die Community-Richtlinien.

Wir verstehen und teilen die Frustration von trans Personen, die sich auf Tumblr mit transphobischen Inhalten konfrontiert sehen und mit bigotten User:innen interagieren. Die Richtlinien von Tumblr und Automattic sind so verfasst, dass sie die Rede- und Meinungsfreiheit gewährleisten. Wir verbieten Belästigungen, wie sie in unseren Community-Richtlinien definiert sind, aber wir wissen, dass diese Richtlinien nicht ausreichen, um User:innen vor dem breiteren Spektrum schädlicher Äußerungen zu schützen, die oft gegen Mitglieder der LGBTQ+-Community und andere marginalisierte Gruppen verwendet werden.

Tumblr wird in Zukunft folgende Maßnahmen ergreifen:

Priorisierung von Maßnahmen gegen Belästigung, die es den User:innen ermöglichen, sich effektiver zu schützen.

Entwicklung von weiteren internen Tools für uns als Belegschaft, um proaktiv Fälle von Belästigung zu identifizieren und zu reduzieren.

Überprüfung, welche der von der trans Community häufig verwendeten Tags gesperrt sind, und Maßnahmen, damit diese nächste Woche wieder verfügbar sind.

Es tut uns leid, was passiert ist, und wir setzen uns aktiv dafür ein, dass unsere Stimmen mehr Gehör finden und dass so etwas in Zukunft nicht mehr passieren kann. Wir wissen aus erster Hand, dass es schwierig ist, als Tumblr-User:in mit solchen Situationen umzugehen, insbesondere als Mitglied einer ohnehin schon häufig angegriffenen und schikanierten Community. Wir wissen, dass es Zeit braucht, um euer Vertrauen zurückzugewinnen, und wir werden uns bemühen, es wiederherzustellen.

Wir schätzen den Raum, der uns gegeben wurde, um unsere Bedenken und unseren Dissens auszudrücken, und wir sind dankbar, dass Matts (und Automattics) starkes Engagement für die Meinungsfreiheit dies ermöglicht hat.

I can’t envision Jensen as Walker. I don’t love every acting decision Jared makes in the role (the high level of halting speech gets to me sometimes, even though I understand the reason), but he works as the central focus. Even though Walker is a bit quirky, he’s still steady enough to anchor the other characters around him.

I think Jensen would have suited the Hoyt type character better than Walker, though Matt Barr was perfectly cast in that role. Jensen does better as the charismatic foil or ally to the more steady lead. When he’s playing a more serious character, I typically find him less interesting (Dawson’s Creek, My Bloody Valentine). And it’s true, he’s a scene stealer, so you can’t have him trying to steal the focus from all side characters.

I’ve seen some people (even non AA/Heller types) claim that Jensen as Dean carried supernatural. First, I don’t agree at all because without both brothers the show would have flopped. But mainly, people who like Dean for his badassery or dick-ish charm don’t seem to realize that you need Sam to balance him out. All Dean, all the time would be too much. He lacks compassion a lot of the time and without his unhinged love for Sam, I think you’d lose sympathy for him much quicker. And only Dean and Cass would be doomed. Dean is the quirky one between Sam and him, but Cass is the quirky one with Sam or Dean because he’s weird by nature. Two quirky characters would cancel each other out if they were the leads, if you didn’t have a steady Sam type in the mix.

Anyway, my point is that Jared knows how to be an anchor (in the good sense), and while he too can be quirky, he’s a generous actor and happy to let others shine around him.

I think part of the reason Jensen hated Soulless Sam was because Jared became the scene stealer in the first half of season 6, and Jensen likes the attention.

I love that analogy of Jared being an anchor. It's an apt description that I think also applies to his work as EP. He's steady, reliable, and supportive, with an extra dose of love and humor.

Jared's had some good ideas in the past. Thinking Jensen could have led Walker is not one of them and I'm so glad it didn't get past the pitch stage.

(I'm guessing the opposite happened with S8's Purgatory arc for Jensen. He didn't have to share those scenes with Jared, which is why he loved it so much.)

2024年ベストトラック

2024年ベストトラック候補(2nd)からそれぞれ最低10回は聴き直して選んだベストトラック157曲(ベストトラックで157曲って多すぎでは････と思うかもしれませんが、これ以上は削れません)

例年、間を置いて聴くとスキップしたくなる曲がいくつかあったのですが、流行りものだったり、居もしない誰かに対する忖度だったりで削り切れていない曲が含まれていたからで、今年は絶対に何年でも聴き続けられるように絞りに絞りました。

曲だけ聴くにはプレイリストを参照していただければよいのですが、テキストとして残しておきたいので全曲列記しておきます(アーティスト名順)。

1, 2, 11, 18!! i need some more stuff to pick up

The Starling House by Alix E. Harrow! I am about half way through and I've really enjoyed it so far. It's a gothic/dark/contemporary fantasy. The town featured reminds me of my own town, actually.

2. Gwen and Art Are Not In Love by Lex Croucher. It was okay! I felt the romance was very rushed tbh, but beyond that I had a good time reading it. The landing just didn't stick quite right for me due to the romance being very quick.

11. Catch 22 by Joseph Heller is one of my top favorites of all time. The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield is also another I've really enjoyed rereading. Real World by Natsuo Kirino is great as well. Bad Monkeys by Matt Ruff is also a great reread, even when you know the twists.

and okay these are middle grade but cinderella retellings are a huge guilty pleasure of mine. obv Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine. But also the Just Ella series by Margaret Peterson Haddix is like....my favorite. I was obsessed as a child. I read it like 30 times and that is not an exaggeration haha. The library was probably going ??? about that.

18. Hm hard since I could say an hour for a smaller book haha. But my record for size/time ratio would probably be the aforementioned Catch 22 which took around 8ish hours. I had to read it again and force myself slower since it was originally for school. when i get hyper focused on a book its hard for me to stop.
