This post includes two characters that will be very connected as the story goes on, characters who are meant to mirror each other and follow similar paths within the story. Putting these two together was not just a choice to make multiple of our team members playfully upset, but because it holds the role of foreshadowing.. although it is funny when @sammy--moh reacts to these things.
Anyways, up first we have,
Maxwell ! ❤️🔥
Maxwell "Max" Lewis -
The sim that crashed the computer midway through creating him, forcing Sam and Sean to restart. Something so painfully in character for him.
Max is my personal character, and everything from his firey temper to his red hair is based on myself. This character will go through severe ups and downs, and make many mistakes. His closed off nature and his hot headed habits might just lead him into rough territory at times, and I'm excited to write him and show his extremes. Max is a character very dear to me.
Up next, the character that started simply as a ploy device, until Stephen - one of our writers, got so very attached to him and created so much more for him.
Meet,
Mitchell ! ❤️
Mitchell Hayes -
His pictures are a mess, but that's in character for him in many ways.
Since he is going to be introduced very soon, I'll keep this short to avoid spoilers. Originally planned to only function as a plot device for other characters development, he has become so much more. Definitely one of our more complex storylines and harder to fully explain developments, his arc is an interesting one, though "interesting" might not be the right word for what this character will go through and do.
We're all very excited to write WarZone, and this guys personal writer is excited to write his.. let's call it his downfall.
For both of these characters, you have to fall to get back up again - and sometimes those falls are hard and painful, sometimes you knock others down with you.
it’s kinda crazy being aromantic and a shipper because i’ll be giggling, kicking my feet, and twirling my hair shoving two characters together like dolls— but the moment someone goes “there’s LITERALLY no platonic explanation for this.” i’ll burst through the door shouting “I’LL FIND ONE.”
Max is an ocean kinda guy. He's blue. Everyone knows this. On breaks and off season he's always on a yacht or at a beach. He enjoys the tumultuous nature of the sea, and sometimes you reflect that he sees himself in the churning waves and unexplored depths. If asked he'll tell you that he just likes it is all, schatje, don't go psychoanalysing him please.
But this summer break is different. Where do you want to go, he asked. What do you want to do?
You wanted to just be with him. You're not an ocean kinda person but you were willing to face your fears of sharks and whatever else was lurking in there to spend down time with Max. He insisted, though, that you choose somewhere, and so you chose somewhere guaranteed to give him peace and quiet. No yachts, no waves, nothing that will feed his need for adrenaline rushes constantly.
And it's here, in the cozy cabin tucked on a mountainside, that you see Max at true calm. Dappled sunlight through the trees dances across his face as you share a hammock with him. His fingers sweep through the bed of clover, finding four-leaved ones with ease. His smiling face against the backdrop of lush trees, his laughter melding with the splashing stream on a morning hike.
Max is an ocean kinda guy. He's blue.
But you're learning that he's also a summertime mountains kinda guy, too. He's verdant.
