Kiyotaka Week Day 3: AU. Mastermind Ishimaru AU. Unedited, mostly

It's rather late in the night and Taka is doing the old, familiar dance of speaking to Izuru inside of his dorm room. It's just that this time, it's through one of the Monokumas instead of with the communicator.

"I really have to say, Kamukura-kun, this was an excellent first day as Monokuma. I'm quite proud of your performance! I was actually pretty worried when you didn't want me to know what you were going to do for Monokuma, but your performance was actually very well-actuated! I’m very proud of you, Kamukura-kun!” Taka says as he changes into his sleep clothes.

Izuru rolls his eyes behind the monitors, mostly focused on putting together the assets for the first Monokuma theater. He knows that Taka is proud of him, it’s nothing at all new for anything that Izuru does. It’s not like Izuru has to bother putting on the act here.

“It’s nothing. So, what do you expect will happen next?” Izuru says as Taka brushes his hair and teeth.

Taka spits out the toothpaste after he’s done thoroughly scrubbing his mouth. “Considering that I know the others quite well, I doubt they will start any sort of murder anytime soon. But this first murder does have to happen within the week.” After all, the news cycle already has a million other things to focus on outside of updates about these children trapped inside of a school with a murderous robot bear, even with a 24-hour live feed. If he wants to keep the attention of the media, he better have it clear that this is not some sick joke by a cultist but the real deal.

Izuru nods as he integrates the background music in the Monokuma Theater. “Motive or do we force the issue?”

Taka weighs his options. Just forcing the issue through some form of blackmail would be easy, but it wouldn’t send the message that he wants to send. No need to make a point about inherent human desperation when the first deaths happened because it was literally forced onto them. On the other hand, someone does have to be dead by the end of the week, and if they wait around, they may genuinely be waiting forever. And Izuru sure is not going to wait forever for his promised entertainment.

“How about this? If a murder doesn’t happen within the next 3 days, you can use one of the motives. If someone doesn’t get murdered after that, then we can start forcing the issue! Would that be acceptable?” Taka asks as he makes his nightly final rounds before he heads to bed.

“Can do!” Monokuma cheerily salutes Taka. Izuru’s working with the audio equipment. You have to make sure that the voice sounds the same in the Theater as it does in the live feed, or at least similar enough. “So, who do you want to bring in for plan B? Maybe your favorite thug?”

Taka turns bright red and chastizes Monokuma. “Mondo is not a thug!”

“So you’re *not* denying that he’s your favorite? I thought that you were supposed to be “impartial and fair”, Ishimaru-kun?” Ugh, Taka can already feel his face get redder and the headache start growing. Why does he even bother with these arguments? He never wins them anyway. Monokuma continues as if Taka didn’t interrupt him. “How about Oogami? She’s big and strong, and pretty much would have to listen to whatever we say if it has something to with our hostages.”

“Oogami-kun is a good choice, but I doubt that the dojo would be good enough collateral.” A centuries-old family dojo is all well and good, incredibly important, and almost a holy ground for Sakura. But the fact that it was burned down in an arsonist’s blaze (unrelated to the Ultimate Despair) about 6 months ago and all the members have been scattered to the winds in the refugee crisis is a bit of a snag on the effectiveness.

“Not that run-down old dojo, dummy! I meant her little boyfriend. Well, little compared to her right now, anyhow.” That actually draws Taka’s attention from organizing his papers.

“I thought that Kenshiro-kun was terminally ill with a severe cancer diagnosis?” Frankly, with the collapse of medical services, he should’ve died a while ago.

“Nope! He’s still kicking somehow! Ain’t the world’s strongest man for nothing, the weirdo! Gwahahahahaha!” Monokuma laughs at his hilarious “joke”. “He’s actually the one we got in custody right now!”

Well, that certainly makes things much easier for everyone. Provable collateral and if there’s anything about Sakura that he knows, she would do literally anything to protect her loved ones. Even kill or die for them.

“Well, that’s perfect! You can contact her as soon as possible, correct? Maybe make some implications that we can keep him alive as well, to really sell it.” Taka wants this to be locked down by the time that he wakes up, after all. "And after that, please get some sleep! A healthy mind and body start with proper rest!"

"Fine, fine. I gotta go now, since she's just done meditating. Buh-bye!" And with that, Monokuma disappears again.

The light on the camera in his dorm room comes back on, Izuru must be focused somewhere else and done with the conversation for the night. Well now, it’s off to dreamland for Taka! He would be a hypocrite if he didn't get his rest now! And with that, he shuts off the lights and drifts off to sleep.

just to get her out of the way, i honestly think billie would be fine. shes fifteen years old but not a season 53 member so i guess she'd be a spinoff character?? not involved in the main plot, kinda like a warrior of hope maybe. shes unassuming and nobody would be actively targeting her, she would NEVER be chosen as an enforcement team member, so as long as she keeps to herself she'd be fine. honestly it would just come down to luck, worst case scenario she gets gunned down after a failed task (this honestly seems most likely lmfao).

i think season 50 would be eighteen/nineteen at this point (since their season aired mayyyybe threeish years ago), so unfortunately most of the convention considers them to be past the age of "kids". which means theres not gonna be a lot of people watching out for them. Sad! sae is one of the "older" participants at 34 so she'd really be on her own here

from most to least likely to survive/what probably happened to them here we go (THIS IS NOT INCLUDING THE RANDOM FACTOR OF THEM BEING GUNNED DOWN BY THE FAILED TASK!!! ALSO TW FOR SUICIDE):

yoshito is fine i think. he's a protagonist that is liked enough and pretty damn harmless in most peoples eyes, so he'd have some kind of influence and isnt likely to be targeted. he wouldnt be asked into the enforcement team but he'd likely lean more towards the future foundation's side. he'd absolutely be in mental agony over his "i can save everybody" mentality but he'd make it out alive!

mika is smart enough to stick by yoshito and has been with danganronpa enough to learn how to survive it, she's scrappy and headstrong and i reckon she'd be fine. again she would lean more towards the future foundation side of things, would have major feelings of inadequacy and would have multiple breakdowns throughout the entirety of the convention but would probably make it out with a few scratches

sae would be asked onto the enforcement team just because of her physical strength and she would not have a good time about it, might have a target on her back during the latter half of the game but would be fine for most of it. would spiral quite a bit and definitely emerges with like a million mental illnesses resurfacing

rie is smart about appearances and extremely paranoid about her safety after her killing game so she would do quite a lot to survive. not sure if this includes killing anybody but she would deffffinitely change quite a bit. joining the enforcement team will be veryyyy difficult just because she isn't close enough to mondo/sayaka to get in while the team is being formed and she can't sell her smarts like miu did, but i think she'd try? that, or i can see her forming a more lowkey kind of alliance just so she has more people around her to protect her. super paranoid about not dying again, definitely has an ugly breakdown at some point, probably attracts a bit more attention than she would like to

ryobe would struggle BAD. BADLY. he has serious trauma from getting killed by a gun and what is the primary weapon of this convention? GUNS. he would be a completely different person, genuinely so frightened and traumatised, totally unlike his normally goofy and lighthearted self. would get irritated easily and become emotional at the drop of a hat. i have no doubt in my mind he would run around like mad and get himself caught in even further chaos. also he's the antag of his season so he has somewhat of a target already. would definitely need to be wrangled in to survive

erin would be in TROUBLEE since she has already been established as an AHL member. major target, massive presence, would really struggle to keep up her persona and actually could become quite violent if provoked and frightened enough. i think it's unlikely she survives this one to be real with you

straight up i think naomi just takes herself out i dont think there is a universe where she doesnt have a serious psychotic break and kill herself to be real with you. she can not handle another killing game and especiallyyy after her killing game and all of the trauma she is struggling to endure she would absolutely be the person who walks off the roof at the beginning of the story

vampirism is such a fun topic like i love both the physical chronic blood illness idea of it and the generic fantasy and when people get funky with it and decide it has something to do with bugs maybe not in a parasitic way (like darkest dungeons vampires). its also fun to mix them i have a character that lives in a fantasy world but routinely denies all fantastical elements of it (gods, curses, etc) and treats vampirism like a disease when everyone else treats it like a magical curse . and they end up being half right! idk i love how normally you 'break' curses but with vampirism and lycanthropy its almost always referred to as being 'cured'...

yeeee all of this is very much what makes me so enraptured with the concept of vampirism as an illness. im sure there's some reasons and pieces of media that like influenced my preference for this take on it, but its also why im like, forever going to be tainted in the sense that i dont really see the appeal of the dnd approach to it with sires and spawns etc (it just ends up waltzing in territory idgaf about and doesnt make vampirism as a concept richer. To Me. not that it is bad in of itself, its just not what i would do with it)

i just love the approach to it that is pseudoscientific akin to how comic books approach it sometimes, like superhero comics. like if you follow me since a while im a OG morbiushead (i like morbius IN THE COMICS . i think this should be obvious but im clarifying) and the way vampirism is done for his character is like so fawking cool and sexy etc.

in my lore vampirism is kind of like, fucked up to explain the exact origin of it (like its not ahrd. im just bad with words. lmao) but in my mondoverse (its called mondo vuoto and shit) it is basically a chronic illness you can catch through infected bites - aka folks affected by vampirism driven to madness by lack of blood - or through inhaling accidentally 'angel dust' which is derived from specific special geode rocks that come from antarctica. etc etc etc. again it'll make sense if i explain more but that'd just get long

vampirism in my world is just another condition you ought to live with and it currently has no 'cure'. my OC jenica, who's struck by a more grave degree of it (mind you...their situation is quite COMPLEX to say the least hence the gravity of it) has been battling for it for the best half of their life, and they are disabled to full effect due to the debilitating physical effects vampirism can have on the body, as it is a literal deficit of red blood cells production in the body and to sustain a stable condition, one must receive blood transfusions as often as their unique case requires. this is why there's clinics specialized in taking care of patients affected by vampirism... because it is unfortunately a common thing.

its just fun. i also like the silly fantasy goofy vampirism, but power imbalance has never been my cup o tea so i never go that way

I feel like, if Chihiro were to be written today for the very first time, he'd probably just be a transmasc character in the process of discovering himself for the first time.

Yeah, this just reads transmasc. The part where he dresses in girl clothes out of insecurity for his masculinity seems like a roundabout way of talking about a concept that wasn't so well-known in the public consciousness in 2010, but these days could just be simplified as AFAB. Assigned female, but true gender male.

Now. Making Chihiro a transmasc character comes with a rather unfortunate side effect, spoiler warning.

I'm talking, of course, about Chihiro being murdered. Chihiro being a trans character would contribute to the pattern of trans people being murdered in media. Though, arguably, that issue already exists with Chihiro's murder, to whatever extent it would exist with trans Chihiro's murder.

Which is to say, if you'd be bothered by a transmasc Chihiro being killed, you're probably already bothered by Chihiro-as-written being killed. It's a lateral move.

I don't think this would change Mondo's motive for killing Chihiro, so much as it would clarify it. Mondo lashing out because he feels emasculated by comparison to Chihiro's determination and strength of will? Yeah, that's a real thing trans people experience.

But its realness might actually be a bad thing. There is such a thing as "too real". People consume media to escape from shit like this in real life. But, tonally, Danganronpa isn't really an escapism game, is it?

Again, I feel like if this would be a problem with transmasc Chihiro, then it's probably already a problem with Chihiro-as-written. And maybe it is. The first Danganronpa isn't exactly a stranger to problematic portrayals, coughcough Genocide Jack and the topic of mental illness.

I don't know. I don't have all the answers. I'm not the definitive authority on trans representation, not by a long shot. My relationship with gender is deeply complicated. I'm really just spitballing here.

I just go your reply back this morning and I realized something we haven't discussed and that's Mikey's Nunchucks being on the wire with the shoes I think that's a very interesting placement to do because if you look at the shoes they have orange and blue colors this means it's connected to Mikey and someone else possibly Mondo or Leo do to the blue and you did bring them up in your response when you brought up the bullying being the shoes foreshowing moment but let's ignore that one for a moment and talk about Mikey Nunchcuks why are they also on the wire and what do they represent along with the shoes? they are very important weapons to Mikey he wouldn't just leave them their it's also a weird placement for them I tried looking it up if there was any meaning to nunchucks on wires and there isn't so what's the possibility and how can we analyze it? any thoughts?

I double checked, they're not on the same wire as the shoes, but it is strange that the shoes are blue

However that could simply be because blue is the opposite of yellow so artistically theyre complementary colors and that could be why theyre blue, as for the blue on his chucks I think thats a style choice

The reason his chucks might be on the wire is because its his weapon poster, all the boys had one, and they chose the item to go with his weapon to be shoes on a wire, simple placement for his chucks would to also put them on a wire

Im not sure why they chose shoes for his second item, maybe its because he seems to be the closes to humans out of all his bros, maybe they chose it for foreshadowing, it could be for anything really

You mentioned in one of your headcanon posts that you have some thoughts about Mondo having an ED? Could you maybe expand on that a little because it's actually one of my favourite headcanons for him as well.

It’s one of my favourites as well!

I’m gonna put a read more for obvious reasons. TW for discussion of eating disorders.

One reason why I like this headcanon so much is, well, projection, but also because it makes a lot of sense considering Mondo’s trauma and mental health issues.

His low self esteem, plus his inferiority complex, plus the fact he’s a gym bro all makes him extremely susceptible to disordered eating. I headcanon he also most likely suffers from body dysmorphia; no matter how big or strong he looks, he will always see himself as small and weak.

Like a lot of gym bros, he probably fell down a rabbit hole of diet and nutrition, becoming obsessed with counting calories and making sure he was always in a deficit. This resulted in either under-eating or over-exercising, which are both obviously harmful for your body and can lead to malnourishment and severe illnesses.

Mondo had a lot of guilt around food and that, as well as the fact he was under-eating, led to binging on all the stuff he wanted to eat but felt as though he shouldn’t be. He was extremely ashamed of this and kept it well hidden.

Besides issues with his body, I also think restrictions on his diet are a way for Mondo to reclaim some control in his life. He suffers from some pretty bad mental health problems (PTSD, survivor’s guilt, a severe inferiority complex) yet is likely untreated for these things. He probably never even let himself mourn Daiya’s death properly because the guilt surrounding his accident made it impossible to process the loss.

Mondo is acutely aware that he is living a lie in the shadow of his brother, but considers it his responsibility to keep that secret in order to honour Daiya’s final request to keep the gang together. That kind of responsibility is crushing, especially for a teenager who was already struggling mentally.

After the accident, Mondo is suddenly both in grief and living a lie, and would be scrambling for something he can actually control. He needs order and discipline not only as a distraction from his issues, but to show that he is capable of doing something right and isn’t completely devoid of worth. Above all else, Mondo is always striving to prove himself, yet no matter what he does, it will never feel like enough.

BITTW CHAPTER EIGHT

SUMMARY; The mystery man, and woman, is finally revealed! Along with mondo and mikeys friendship of course..

1)

" You two know each other? " Leo asked, as Mikey stood up and walked towards the gecko, " - Yeah! Hes.. he's from back home, my dimension.. " " - How do people keep ending up here, god!" Leon exclaimed, folding his arms. "Mondo, how'd you get even here?" Mikey said with a hint of curiosity.

" I...Kind of forgot.. but, Here I was in this white van and-- I saw a portal and just went right through it! I must've had a rough fall. I was trying to look for you.. after you disappeared, your brothers, especially Donnie, didn't even think of giving up on trying to find you.. even April and Casey helped as much as they could.." A smile formed on Mikey's face before it suddenly dropped, "..A- and master splinter?" Said the mutant, a hopeful look in his eyes. Mondo puts his hands in his pockets, giving Mikey a sorrowful gleam. "-Nah, sorry dude. Hes acting as if nothing ever happened. I don't even think he noticed!"

Silence lingered throughout the dojo, you could almost hear a pin drop. Mikey sighed. "...Its no different from when I was there. Is it? Oh well, it.. happens." Mikey gave a sheepish smile before master Leonardo placed a hand on the geckos shoulder. "-Come with me, 'Kid , ill show ya' around." Mondo nodded as Leon turned away, glaring at Mikey before leaving. Mondo paused, turning towards Michealangelo."-Oh-- Mikey, your mask.." The mutant paused. Mikey clenched his fist, praying that Mondo wouldn't leave any negative comments.. after all, that's how they joked back home, but luckily, Mondo knew where to draw certain lines. "..You look... Pretty. Cya' soon dude!" Mondo waved before leaving sensei Angelos dojo. Mikey let out a sigh of relief, his tail Swaying due to excitement. Sensei Angelo then spoke up, interrupting this heart felt moment.

"Your splinter sounds.. like a jerk." He'd declare, refusing to sugarcoat anything. Mikey glanced up at his sensei, crossing his arms. "..He's always been like this. It's fine, really!" Angelo shut his eyes before looking over to the side. "-..Sure.. You should head to bed, it's getting late." "-What!? But I wasn't done doing your--" "-Now, Mikey." He'd hiss. Mikey winced before letting out a whiny moan. "Fineee.." He'd Carry out, peeved. "Goodnight.." angelo said, walking the other to the door. "..Goodnight.. dad'.." Mikey teased, giggling before Angelo pushed him out of the dojo. "-Never call me that again." Angelo shot Mikey a distasteful look. The teen chuckles, skipping away.

Mikey heard the dojos door slam behind them, causing them to flinch. "Yeesh.." he'd continue to busy through the halls, until he heard voices.. "-..Running low on supply again.." Said commander O'Neil. "-Oh well, I'll do a supply run in the morning. You coming, case'?" "Sure!"

"Low on supply..." Mikey mumbled to himself, putting his back up against the wall.

Hey, maybe he could help! He hasn't really done anything.. useful over the past few days, so why not use this information to his advantage? Mikey Ran towards Casey's room, opening the door and closing it very slowly as to not make any noise. He'd then lock it, knowing there was a window above.. The mutant would hesitantly look around, as to make sure no unexpected guess were in the room, nor approaching. The path was clear, Mikey smiled, hopping on top on Casey's bed before bouncing up to the window. He held onto the ledge, weakly pulling himself up. Luckily sensei Angelo's training came in handy.. Michealangelo paused for a moment, letting out a sigh, but.. this was his chance to be helpful; he couldn't just let it go to waste!

With that thought in mind, Mikey jumped from the window, landing on their plastron.. they'd groan, rubbing their head slowly before hazily looking up at their view.. No kraang were near or in sight, and it was.. dark and.. quiet out. Perfect. Michealangelo scrambled up to his feet before running off in a random direction.. the boy had no idea where he was going, but.. he'd manage, of course he would!..he always does, even without help. Whether it be him running off or paying attention, which was a rare occurrence.

Mikey wondered for what seemed like ages, but to no avail. However; They did happen to spot a few large Conex boxes staked on top of one another. Maybe there was some supply in there? Just maybe. And so Mikey went, walking into danger as always..

He'd bust the Conex box open, ramming into it with his shoulder. "-Ah-- dang it.." Mikey hissed in pain, rubbing the used area.. his shoulder now felt sore, but, On the bright side, the door was open.. Mikey peaked inside, a dim light being shined above a few crates and boxes full of fruit. The mutant stared, awestruck. "-Jackpot!" The boy would shout, fantasizing about how everyone else at the lair would be so proud of him.. Mikey sat on his knees right Infront if the box, placing his hands on the edge of the crate and leaning it towards him. Sure enough, they looked fine.. oddly enough, it was a bit suspicious. Mikey shrugged this off; Having to be desperate for approval.

Just as Mikey stood, he heard a sudden snap before a heavy net fell atop of him. Mikey fell to the ground, the edges of the large net piercing their skin. They'd let out a yelp, squirming around at an attempt to escape, failing miserably. A voice soon echoed throughout the dark exterior,

"Another Kraang bot?.. That's the fourth one today. Though, I won't complain. It's pointless.."

Mikey paused, peeking his head up. "-Hey! Is anyone there?" A voice called out. Soon, a mutant emerged from the shadows. He wore a purple mask and goggles, Burn marks covering the right side of his face and his hands.. well.. hand. One of them were mechanical, with sharp nails, ones that could slice through paper, wood maybe. The strange man wore a torn cape, one simaliar to Sensei Angelo's.. but purple, of course. It seemed like their whole.. theme, 'Ya know?

"Oh.." they'd pause, glaring at Mikey. "-Who are you!? What are you-- are you going to eat me!?" Mikey cried. "-Eat you!? Eugh, I'm more of a fan of salad.. though.. I'm not picky." The stranger teased, he'd step closer, a menacing grin appearing on his face as he laughed, scaring Mikey. Mikey whined, closing his eyes and waiting for his demise.. fortunately, that was before a voice stopped the other.

"Donatello!~" A voice echos. The man growls, turning around. There, a woman came strutting out of the darkness. She worse a purple dress with black heels, her glasses were as clear as Day, you could see the evil in her eyes. "Donnie..", Mikey mumbled, looking up. "..Big mama. I'm a bit occupied at the moment." "-Please, you can make some time to chat-.. oh.. what's this you've caught?" The woman leaned down, adjusting her glasses. "-I dunno, just another.. mutant. What shall we do with it? Kill it? Leave it out for the kraang?" "-HEY!" Mikey growled. "Oh Donnie, stop teasing it." "-Who said I was teasing, I'm being serious --" "-Hey, um.." Mikey spoke, the two others attention turned onto him. "-..How about you guys let me go, huh? Sounds like a good idea!" Donnie narrowed his eyes, suddenly taking out a staff and pointing it at mikey. "-Oh quiet.." The mutant paused before unleashing a blade, holding it up to Mikey's neck. The slightest of movements could kill Mikey right now.. "-Or I'll cut you to bits, you--" "-how about we get a good look at it.." big mama suggested, pulling the net off of him. Mikey smiled, the painful scratching at his skin finally coming to an end. Big mama helped him up with a smile. Both Donnie and big Mama's expressions softened once they finally had a clear view of Mikey. "..What's your name, kid." Donnie asked. "-M- Michealangelo.. or Mikey. Or Micheal! Well- that's what villains call me from time to time -- oh! Also my--"

".. Michealangelo?" Big mama cut the boy off, turning towards Donnie. "-And, you-- you're Donnie!.. you're the mutant who sensei Angelo and master Leonardo argue about daily, you're their brother aren't you?, i-- you're alive?" Donnie scoffs, cocking his head to the left. "Follow me, now." Donnie walked off. Mikey gulped, hesitant to do so. "..Come, come now.." big mama pushed him forwards. Mikey inhaled sharply before following Donatello..

Donnie led the two to an elevator, one that went underground, to god knows where. The three stepped inside of the elevator, Mikey stood in between the two other adults. They seemed.. unsettled. "...Nice weather we're having tonight am I right..?" Mikey mumbled attempting to stir up Conversation. "Can it." Donnie demanded as the elevator opened, slowly.. They were in.. a lab? Odd. Mikey looked around, amazed. "..This.. This is SO COOL!" he'd exclaim, but just as he were to run off, Donnie caught him by the arm. "Not so fast, you're only here for questioning." Donnie tossed him in a chair, one that spun. "Ooo..", he wooed, before Donatello spoke up. "First off.. how do you know about my brothers and where are you really from. Your real name?" "..Erm.. sensei angelo said I was in the wrong dimension, and I can't really go back to mine so.. I'm stuck here! Bummer, am i right? Therefore, my name is still Mikey dude." Mikey continued to spin. Donnie narrowed their eyes. "..So. mikey-- is your sensei now?" "-..We call him Angelo for the sake of the confusion, but.. yeah!" "..And you can't go home why?" "..Master Leonardo said that he was my only hope to get home, but, he may or may not die if he creates a portal due to his state right now.." Mikey fiddles with the ends of his mask. "..Ya' like my bow?" Mikey looked up at Donnie with starry eyes. "Focus.. How's Mikey-- A-angelo , anyways." "..eh. he--- I dunno! When I first met him he was a real meanie.. bitter too! never smiled, but I think now we're starting to bond!.. and I have a few questions for YOU!" Mikey jammed his finger into donnies chest, gaining a sour look from him. Mikey gave a sheepish expression before pulling away. "Why don't you go back with your brothers?" "-oh please kid', they think I'm dead, and it's better that way. It's been big mama and I for years now."

Donnie turned around and began to walk off, until he was stopped. "-Not everyone.." Mikey spoke, tugging on their cape. "..Sensei Angelo, he still thinks your alive.. h-- he's in denial? I think.. the others, they think you're long gone.. and I think Angelo is losing hope.. why'd you leave anyways?" Donnie stood there for a moment before sighing, disregarding the others question.. "Its better that way. Go home.. and dont you DARE tell ANYONE about me, got it?" He'd glare. Mikey rolled his eyes, "Fine..but expect to see me often!" He'd hop in the elevator with donnie..

It was a.. long walk home, to say the least.

Try as he did to get to class if only to avoid Taka's ire, Mondo managed to burst through the door only a few minutes after the bell, having just missed a good portion of their classmates while coming up the stairs. He...didn't look good, hair a mess, shirt torn and jeans tattered with dirt and blood smeared across his face and clothes. There's a rip in the sleeve of his jacket, a bit of road rash able to be seen where he had a palm braced against the open door, the biker wide eyed and frantic as he tried to catch his breath.

Taking in the near empty classroom, Mondo swore rather loudly, as if he had any other volume, a nearby trash can being kicked over to send its paper contents across the floor. "Motherfucker! Stupid ass truck! Stupid ass bike! Stupid fucking-" It...was mostly intelligible after that, a series of nothing but colorful swears as the adrenaline-crashing biker ranted and raved, completely oblivious to the few students still remaining in the room.

「 ☆ 」   It had been starting out as an average day... The majority of her class isn’t what Chihiro would consider punctual, most of them normally wandering in after the bell has already rung. But they never take TOO long, arriving quick enough to escape any need of punishment from the teacher. Honestly, Taka is more of a stickler for the rules. Evident by how even the person in charge of the class was taking longer than usual to arrive, while the ever-present Ultimate Moral Compass was already straight-backed in his seat. Certain that there’s a reasonable excuse, Chihiro doesn’t think anything of it. 

With her bag already beside her desk, books and supplies set atop its surface in preparation for the day, she gazes absentmindedly towards the front of the class with her headphones on. Music blares into her ears in a volume that’s not the healthiest, but she prefers when every little sound is drowned out in favor of the raucous tunes. Cheek resting on the palm of her hand, elbow propped on the table, she startles at Mondo unceremoniously barging into the room looking like he’s just been dragged through Hell. In Chihiro’s opinion, anyway. Maybe a fellow biker would look at his condition and think nothing of it. But Chihiro is already scrambling from her seat once the initial shock has passed, hastily taking off her headphones—

—and then grimacing with regret as her shield of sound is dropped.

Wincing as what had been witnessed as a silent comedy of trash-can-kicking and clear screaming turns into an overwhelmingly LOUD barrage of curse words— Chihiro doesn’t mind the foul language, although it is a bit... jarring —she hesitates beside her desk, needing a moment to consider the best approach. Not wanting to interrupt his venting, she fidgets in place for a few seconds, bounding from foot to foot with clear impatience. The longer he goes on like this, the more Chihiro feels her anxiety instinctively spike. Which isn’t the greatest when it comes to helping him. Not that she’s scared of Mondo! Never... But it’s difficult not to feel- uneasy with a large and strong man stirring up a fuss. No matter how harmless he is.

Chihiro tries to remind herself of this. Telling herself that it’s okay to feel unsettled by WHAT Mondo is doing, so long as she remembers that she’s not unsettled by him. She just... has an issue seeing anyone that openly violent  angry  upset. He has a right to be, though. Clearly worse-for-wear thanks to whatever happened. Stomach ill at the display, she harshly shakes her head before rushing over, deciding that Mondo isn’t going to finish until he runs out of breath. Perhaps it’s an over-exaggeration, but the biker DOES look like he’s ready to go for the entirety of the class if allowed. Heart pounding painfully in her chest from a mixture of concern and fear, Chihiro shouts as she approaches to be heard above the din.

❝  Mondo, are you alright?!  ❞  A stupid question and she shakes her head immediately as if chastising herself for asking it. Powering through, cheeks flushed and fists clenched in front of herself, Chihiro hurriedly continues, anxiety lacing her every word,  ❝  What happened? And- And what are you even doing here? You should be at the nurse’s office being taken care of!  ❞  She hadn’t meant for her worry to turn to nagging quite so quickly, but the words are out before she can stop them. Not that Chihiro regrets them...   「 ☆ 」
