△ My name, age (18), appearance, etc. are all pretty much the same as here, though I'm not sharing most of that for privacy reasons.

▲ Backstory

△ My story begins with a man named Bill Johnson. He studied ancient history for many years until he became a curator for a museum in his home town in New Mexico. He was obsessed with mythology and ancient relics, and his obsession only grew when the museum shut down due to the costs of keeping the business afloat and the lack of customers. Bill was furious and devastated until rumors the Mighty Thor being on Earth spread in 2011, just a few months after. He couldn't believe it at first, but that disbelief quickly vanished in 2012 when The Avengers formed to battle aliens in New York. Bill took this as his sign to get powers of his own. If the myth of Thor was true, then there had to be other true myths and magic within his reach. Due to his intense studies, he knew almost everything there was to know about mythology and in which museums the most spectacular artifacts and relics were kept throughout the world. So, he began to travel everywhere he could, stealing them and testing them, desperate to attain some sort of mystical abilities.

△ Bill's thievery continued until November 2016, when SHIELD caught up to him and sent a few Avengers to bring him in. He was attempting to steal an amulet called "The Eye of the Sphinx" from the Getty Villa Museum in Los Angeles, California, sure that it would grant him the powers he yearned for. Steve, Bucky, Nat, and Clint were undercover, watching Bill closely as he made his way towards the exhibit and preparing to intercept him before he could get his greedy hands on it.

△ Meanwhile, I was enjoying my stroll through the room, unknowing walking right behind a deranged, international thief. Because of fate, the amulet ten feet in front of us began to softly glow green in my presence (main character shit, obviously). Of course, Bill thought this was finally his moment of success, his moment of glory. Well, he was wrong. As soon as he rushed forward to snatch the relic, Bucky tackled him to the floor, and the others followed.

△ While they were busy, the amulet essentially disintegrated as the spirit of the sphinx started to bond with mine. Due to its great power, I lost consciousness and would remain unconscious for over day. Bucky (gosh, I love him so much) made the decision to bring me back to the Quinjet, along with Bill, so that they could make sure I'm ok and have Tony and Bruce run some tests if needed. Plus, SHIELD wants to be aware of any and all possible threats.

△ So, Bill got locked up and I was brought to my own room in the Compound where I will wake up! When I do, I will have no memories of my past, including the incident at the museum. I will know that I shifted and I will remember everything I scripted, but my CR memories will also be gone. I chose to do this because I don't want to worry about my CR while I'm there, and I had no idea what to script for my childhood and family. If I don't remember, then it doesn't matter, right?

▲ The Sphinx

◬ (I did research on the Greek myth of the sphinx, but changed some things, so I'm aware that it's not perfectly correct :))

△ The Sphinx is a mythical creature whose spirit bonds with women chosen by fate to protect a person, group of people, place, or thing. There have been 16 Sphinxes before me, and I will be the 17th. The first, Phix, guarded the city of Thebes, as told in the Greek myth, though her story was bent and twisted over time, depicting her as a monster. My destiny as the Sphinx is to protect Bucky and his mind, and I will be helping him with most of his healing after the process in begun in Wakanda.

△ The Book of Phix is a record of all of the previous Sphinxes' experiences and insight. Each of them had the book to write whatever they felt was important for the next Sphinx to know. Due to its magical properties, only a Sphinx can read the contents and write in it. One of the Sphinxes was chosen to protect the Masters of the Mystic Arts, so when she passed, they agreed to protect the book during the years between Sphinxes. The Sorcerer Supreme delivers the book once the next rises, meaning that on the evening of my shift - my first day aware of that reality - Doctor Strange will make a portal to the Avengers Compound, introduce himself as the new Sorcerer Supreme, and give me the book, which will help me, SHIELD, and the other Avengers understand what I'm capable of and what my future may hold. He will also tell me that it is imperative that I gain control of my powers and figure out what I am meant to protect and as soon as possible.

△ When a Sphinx is chosen and bonded, her memories and her previous existence are basically erased. Her knowledge remains and even grows exponentially. However, in order to help her focus on her destiny as a guardian, her life must start again with her mission.

△ "Sphinx" will be my alias, though the public will not know of my existence. Any aid to The Avengers or SHIELD will be psychological, not physical, unless it's absolutely necessary, like interrogations, reconnaissance, strategy, and so on. I'm not really a fan of fights or conflict, so... yeah.

how i met my bf in my mcu dr

Spider man. The one and only. Peter Parker and Mady Stark are an interesting duo as the papers would say. Sunshine sweet and cherry sour.

Mady and Peter met in a special situation. In 2012, New York was attacked (oh yeah, we are going way way back) by none other than aliens themselves. During this attack, Mady needed what we would later call a side kick, which would then turn to partner in crime. Or well partner in heroism, which would then just be partner in just about everything.

The two of them met when she arrived at Peters house asking about a special grant and competition that he "had signed up for" to work under Tony Stark or, of course, Mady Stark. And wouldn't you know it, ding ding, lucky boy was a winner. What had really happened though, was she had needed some help. Couldn't bothered to be stuck around boring adults all day. And when she had heard about spiderman, she just knew he would fit in with the avengers perfectly. She needed him in all honesty, someone who would understand being a teen hero and all. Not Miss America or her literal dad.

So, she had shown up at his house with her red mustang and heart sunglasses. Enjoyed tea and made small talk with his aunt while she waited for him to get home. And after a minor interrogation and some light convincing, there was a new avenger.

SYNOPSIS . . . rosalie's life flips when her classmate turns out to be the bug superhero, and he somehow traps her in his web as she helps him and his nerd friend [guy in chair? I'm not saying that ned!] survive nyc thugs. oh! and did she mention her body is possessed by an immortal entity?

[ note . . . this is shifting content, this by far is the only marvel dr i have really truly stuck by, it’s based on the movies instead of the comics (mostly bc the comics give me a headache trying to plan it all out and make it fit), i did create a whole universe, once again, to fit in Etherea into the plot without disturbing what mcu has already. and no, I didn’t script that etherea possessed my body in a traumatic way, just a silly ‘wtf!?’ type of way. enjoy my loves!! ]

BACKSTORY . . . Moving around, mostly because you’re parents were obsessed with aliens' civilization and a goddess storing antiques, wasn’t as fun as people thought it was. Never having a fix home, friends to lean on, damn it not even a single meaningful piece of anything to hold on to. So yeah, it’s boring being stuck in the temporal house without being able to do anything. But at least Rosalie has music and a cat! . . . yeah . . . that’s it. Nothing in Rosalie’s life brought any excitement or thrill, and she wasn’t sure if she hated it…or liked it.

SOUL ENTRAPMENT . . . How did this happen you wonder? Well, it’s a straightforward story! Let’s set the scene. One day your parents set down a new vase in the living room, a very. . . interesting looking vase, but who are we to judge. It’s a late start for school, and you bump into it, causing it to fall and well…break. You shrug it off as you pick up the pieces, throw them away, and go to school. Well, you bandage off a cut you got but it’s fine, it’s just a cut…right? So why does Rosalie keep seeing a woman follow her this entire week?

Why does it seem like no one sees this lady curse at Rosalie with no shame? This might be New York but come on, someone has to get tired of the same shit for a WHOLE WEEK!? And why is the school allowing this creep into their grounds!?

A week turns into a month and soon enough Rosalie slaps the lady—wait—this. . . this can’t be!? Her hand went right through hitting this poor boy in the face. Yeah, she almost moved to another state after that. So turns out Rosalie is crazy, and she’s stuck with a big-bang old goddess lady.

PUPPY LOVE . . . A spider and an arachnophobic, what a match made in hell! Except, this spider is a 5’10 ft human nerd. (she is too but that doesn’t matter) And the aeachnophobic is possessed by a goddess. But here’s the kicker, the spider boy doesn’t know that she knows that he’s the loser she slapped (ACCIDENTALLY) a few months ago. Ha! Eat shit Etherea! But when she starts to notice the hardships that come with being alone and carrying all that weight, Rosalie somehow, like always, manages to find herself in between the life of the avengers and a particular spider guy who finds outs that she knows that he knows that she knows who he is beyond that mask.

EDEN RHIANNON MELROSE was born in Queen, New York, to Pearl Ivory and James Melrose. Eden had a normal childhood, she had two loving parents, although divorced, and overall had the average family growing up. Although her parents weren’t home often home due to their jobs, ones which they didn’t like to talk about often. Those same jobs are what kept her homeschooled up until the attack on New York.

MAY 01, 2012 . . . what seemed like a normal day in new york turned to be an attack from aliens, its was that day where the universe has thrown Eden into the world of a group of cosplayers who called themselves the Avengers. It wasn’t her fault. She’d been tired of secrets she followed her parents and got dragged into the aliens fight. Oh! and her parents are SHIELD scientist, isn’t that fun!

MUTANT GENE . . . that’s what Eden had, it’s why she was homeschooled, to be observed like a zoo animal in a natural habitat. So when someone made a comment about her mutant gene, she punched him in the face. She hasn’t left SHIELD for months, training and being tested on for the sake of making sure she had a long life ahead of her, she would is they let her out to do normal things. And after a few months of no change they let her go as long as she came by once a month for check ups. So Eden left trying to find comfort in what used to be normalcy.

AVENGERS, ASSEMBLE . . . the plan was to steer away for the avengers after the alien invasion, so why is she helping the Black Widow and Captain América find their mind controlled, one armed, friend? And that’s how she was once again sucked into the Avengers. Her affiliations made her a permanent member of their, especially with the ability she found herself with. So Eden lives a life threatening adventure every single minutes with these big brained idiots, but she couldn’t find it in her to mind even an ounce.

◞♡ i was born to a “normal” family in england. my mother was my high school principal, and the only person in my family with a job. she was my only support in my family, but when she discovered that I had powers, she completely rejected it, making me suppress it until I felt like I was playing a part every day. my father was a traumatized, manipulative, depressed wreck of a man. He didn’t work, never got medicated or got help. he stayed in his hurt and continued to hurt me because of it. during all of this, i had a younger brother as well. he made me a glass child, taking all of the attention in the house and becoming a miniature version of my father. when I turned eighteen, after a particularly bad moment of my father yelling at me, i blew up and let my powers out for the first time in years because i was forced to repress them. but because of that outburst, I also lost the love of my mother, and any hope of a relationship with my brother or father.
