tpg decided to room with ibuki (much against their will at first since ibuki just needed to place to stay in between gigs but komaeda and ibuki had gotten closer so now she has occupied what was originally just a storage room for tpg)

they live in a 3 bedroom apartment in a skyrise building in the city (room 314 baybeyyy)

komahina share a room with each other while chiaki and ibuki have their own rooms respectively :]

It’d be pretty sad to see “Knights” – one of ES’ Big Three – go against newbies, right? As their seniors, the previous “SS” winners…

And as rivals of “Knights”, let’s take them on instead. “Crazy:B” is also a new unit, so let’s have “ALKALOID” fight them since they’re of the same standing.

Hokuto: Hmm. Now that you mention it, I think that would be the smartest decision. It was written in the “oracle” that “ALKALOID” would fight “Crazy:B” too.

Rinne Amagi tends to do whatever he wants, but he might go easy on his opponent if it’s his own brother.

Chiaki:

Favorite Thing: I love everything about her. Her design is so cozy and cute, she is so neurodivergent with her hyperfixation on gaming and her accidental bluntness, ahhh I love her!

Least Favorite Thing: The fact that she dies twice, I sob. I also really hate how the fandom portrays her as boring with no personality but that's not a character thing.

Favorite Line: Sobbing while going through Chiaki voice lines but I like "Hey, Hajime... This isn't for the sake of anyone else. You... You have to do this for yourself. Now then! It's about time you show me your cool side, Hajime. C'mon, I'll help out too..." I was looking for a nice quote but found this honorable mention on the Wiki "Apparently Mikan has never played video games before. She's totally missing out on 90% of her life."

BrOTP: Her and Kazuichi, I feel, would be such a fun dynamic as well as her and the other female supports/mains.

OTP: I already mentioned Komahinanami for Hajime so I'm gonna say a different one. I love Sonia and Chiaki as well as Ibuki and Chiaki. Chiaki is just one of those characters that you can put her with almost anyone and I would appreciate it.

NOTP: I don't think I've seen any Chiaki ships that I outright hate? Maybe TeruTeru? We'll go with that one

Random Headcanon: My friend and I have an AU that we've done absolutely nothing with where everyone helps Kaz build a robot to put Chiaki's AI in so she becomes very Kiibo-esque. Just a happy little AU where the world is in peril, but at least she's somewhat alive. Since that's not really a headcanon though I must add that I believe in fat Chiaki supremacy.

Unpopular Opinion: I actually find her to be a super interesting support character. She has the wits and bluntness that Kyoko and Maki have while also being super nice and supportive like Kaede and Komaru.

Songs I Associate Them With: Goodbye To A World by Porter Robinson and I'd Rather Sleep by Kero Kero Bonito (also just a lot of video game music, especially from games like Undertale)

Favorite Picture: Her splash art is super cute! I also love that one scene in the anime where Chisa has her over her shoulder, and she's just lazily waving to Hajime while still playing her game.

Favorite Thing: I love Peko! Her talent is super interesting and I love how she has a soft side (plus she gets flustered fairly easily which I find adorable)

Least Favorite Thing: They could've done so much more with her character than they did. Hana was just looking down whenever she was aware of Cater- It was hard hard to forgive herself after nearly killing her brother figure you know,,, That was a very crappy move- Hana stayed polite around him, Trey, and Riddle though, as Cater saw Hana slowly interacting with other people,,, you know, and avoiding him. Hana didn’t mean it in a bad way, but felt so guilty to even start approaching him...

Riddle holding Hana’s hand and Ace giving her words of encouragement,,, Deuce and Trey taking over Hana’s duties, so there’s no excuses,,, Hana will have to somehow talk to Cater.

One day, Ace walked Hana to Cater’s room, comforting her the whole way. He gave Cater and Hana the space they deserved but he was still lurking around in case something happened.

Ace: Riddle’s orders, but I trust you wholeheartedly :D

Cater was lying in bed, Hana could barely see him underneath the blankets. It was a mountain of blankets and sticking out of the top was a messy fluff of ginger hair. Cater was half asleep from pain killers and medication,,, he did almost die afyer all-

Hana called out for Cater gently,,, trying the urge not to nudge him awake like she used to sometimes. She would be shy but she'll literally be gentle and careful with her words for Cater,,, as a good start- Cater merely glanced at Hana over his shoulder. He was there but he was not,,, completely there. Nonetheless, he gave her a sleepy head pat- Hana nearly flinched,,, but she accepted anyway. She slowly sat on the edge of Cater's bed. Cater sat up so there was more room on the bed-

We can hear the awkward silence right now...

Hana somehow started a short conversation first... Something lighter first. She nearly hesitated when asking if Cater is doing alright at the moment. Cater was subconsciously leaning on Hana, lowly cuddling her... Which made Hana grow a little more comfortable step by step.

Is just Hana keep talking about topics softly,,, As long as he doesn't hate Hana or something like that,,, then Hana will find that as a pretty good sign.

Hana then explained to him how she felt and about her thoughts on what happened after the Overblot, while Cater kept listening intently.

once Hana started to get sad, Cater hugged her gently... Probably mumbled “nooo… don’t be sad…”

Hana just curled up like a turtle while being in Cater's arms,,,

Ace went to check on them and finds Cater’s passed out holding Hana close to him,,, He had to get Riddle in there so they could lay Cater down and help Hana if she needed it.

The next day, everyone rented out the Mostró Lounge to have a party, trying and getting Hana to socialize more-

Hana got pretty overwhelmed with socializing and seeing many people in one room, but she'll have to in order to catch up with the others.

Chiaki: heyyy Azul I had an idea-

Azul: Oh..?

Chiaki: okay what if, hear me out, you let me rent out the lounge, hear me out hear me out, so we can have a party? For Hana? To socialize with people more??? With food- and sweets- and-

Azul fixing his glasses: don't say no more- you just read my mind,,-(which he didn't try to use the plan tho-)

Chiaki spends a lot of time just planning with Azul- It’s gotta be perfect.

favorite line: i can't remember the line fully but i think it was something along the lines of "i don't need to go into a haunted house to feel fear because i already feel fear in my daily life! :D"... MY BOY... he says that so casually and it's So Fucking Funny but really sad at the same time... also really like that line in the first trial where he calls himself arrogant right before calling himself lowly, stupid, and insignificant because i think "arrogant" means the exact opposite of what it means in his head

brOTP: tbh. nagito and chiaki. i feel like they'd get up to really stupid shit together and it'd be horrible because they'd do things like freeze these fuckers in ice cubes when no one's looking

favorite thing about them: ohhh that's hard.... While she's nowhere near being one of my favorite dr characters, there's still a lot I like about her.... I can't think of any serious answer rn so uhhh I like when she swears fnsjsbfh

least favorite thing about them: probably that she's pretty unexplored in comparison to most of the other dr2 survivors. On some level I get why, and I know she does have shit going on, but I just kind of wish we got to see a bit more of her behind her mask of strength.

favorite line: it's been a hot minute since I've gone through dr2 so nothing specific comes to mind at the top of my head, but I liked seeing her infodump :)

Yeah, and then randomly giving Hajime green eyes? And then one red eye and one green eye? How the fuck does that make any sense? And then they turned Nagito’s hair into a weird triangle???? And Chiaki’s was just spikes??? Normal Hajime had golden (green in the anime) eyes and then they exchanged them for Izuru’s red implants. “Oh but now that he’s a merge of both personalities, his eyes magically changed color again and one isn’t an implant anymore!!” That’s not...how science fucking works. Also, Izuru is not merged with Hajime. Izuru’s fucking dead. Gone. Erased. That’s the whole goddamn point of the second game’s ending. what the fuck. And then making Izuru’s hair black because uhhhh he’s evil and so his hair magically changes color to black?? Fucking no. Stop making him look like Shadow the Hedgehog. In canon he has brown hair. Fuck. Off. 

Everyone in the anime looks and acts completely different to their canon versions. They’re un-fucking-recognizable. They act totally different, and their new personalities are god-awful. They all have different friends and now they’re besties with people they hated in the game or vice versa. They’re all just a bunch of OCs now, almost as bad as all the shitty actual OCs the anime brings in. Listen, they legit looked so different that I had no idea who Sonia was. I was like “who the fuck is that chick? some new character?” And someone had to sit me down and tell me that it was Sonia because she looked so god damned different and straight up ugly. Everyone in the anime looks fugly as hell. 

Not to mention that so many plot points in the anime run exactly opposite to the canon plot points in the game and just decide to ignore canon directly when they want an extra bit of fan service. The entire anime is nothing but shitty fanservice. Like a wattpad fanfiction. It’s a cash grab. It bothers me so much when people act like the anime is more canon than the game. They go around being like “the anime is the default! If you like DR, you’re talking about the anime! And you follow anime canon over game canon! And you must love the anime and follow all of its’ rules!” As if the game doesn’t fucking exist and wasn’t the original. 

I don’t know. People think it’s “the anime was canon, but you just don’t like it so you don’t want it to be canon.” No. No. It’s way fucking more than that. It’s that the anime actually goes against game canon in a bunch of huge fucking ways that totally obliterate the universe and the story that the game was trying to tell. And all the characters act different, look different, and have different relationships. 

It’s not “I don’t like the anime so I don’t want it to be true” it’s “the anime actually flouts and changes game canon on a whim whenever it feels like it and completely changes the original story, so it shouldn’t be treated like default canon.” And it bothers me so much when people put anime canon over game canon. Or act like they’re even on the same level. When people tell me shit like “But in the anime it’s like--” It doesn’t fucking matter. The anime isn’t true. Clearly. Play the games and you’d actually know that, but nobody takes the time to play the games. They just uhhhh watch the animes and call it a day. 

Like...Would you sit there and say that Dragon Riders of Berk should be more canon than How to Train Your Dragon? Are you gonna say that Hiccup has a sister for definitely canon sure, even though the original movie says he’s an only child, just because the TV show said he has a sister? No. If it goes against original canon, obviously it’s not canon. It should be the same with the anime vs the games. But nobody fucking notices because they’re too busy sucking Chiaki’s fat Mary Sue cock.
