Its start when they meet reader when luffy hat accidentally flew away and when young!ASL was looking for it they meet a girl about 9 years old. She was picking flowers sitting in the grass with luffy's strawhat on her head because she found it and put it on her head. And they let her be there sister but had to piss off dadan first to do so with reader randomly grabbing a bow of chocolates from her back for dadan. (Extra) if you can do this I am literally praying if you do this can you let reader wear a hijab and abya but not closely fancy.

"Stop crying already!" Ace finally snaps, tired of the ongoing crying of his youngest brother

"B-But that was Shank's hat; he trusted me to keep it," he cried.

"We'll find the damn hat now. Stop crying!"

"Ha. Don't worry, Luffy. There is not a lot of wind today, so I'm sure it couldn't have gone too far," Sabo sighs. 

"O-Okay"

"It should be after to this hill; the wind couldn't have carried much farther with all the mountains here," Sabo mentioned, leading the other two over said mountain only to pause at the top.

"Sabo? What's wrong? Are you already tired?" Ace asked, rolling his eyes as he walked past him, only to stop as he spotted what made his brother pause in the first place

"Hey! He stole my hat," Luffy roared as he started barreling toward the child, much to the frustration of the other two.

Idiot

"Hey! You! Give me back my hat!" 

Dokucha looked up at the shouts of the smaller boy, staring at him owlishly, a small arrangement of flowers between her fingers.

"Y-You're a girl!" he exclaims, taking a closer look at her.

"And you're a boy?" she answers back, confused at his proclamation, looking as Sabo and Ace catch up to Luffy standing next to him and staring at the girl.

"Ah, I'm sorry. You said this was your hat, right? I found it here; I didn't know someone was looking for it," she said, offering the hat back to the boy.

"Thank you!" He lets out a grin, taking the hat and placing it on his head

"Why are you wearing a cloak?" Ace questions, frowning at her attire, covering the top of her head to the tip of her toes

"Ace!" Sabo hisses

"That's rude!"

"Ah, it's okay, I don't mind," she waves him off with a smile.

"It's not a cloak; it's an abaya," she declared, standing up and giving a twirl to the boys, showing off the garment.

"And this is a hijab," she stated, gesturing towards the cloth covering her hair and neck.

"It's weird. Why do you wear it? Aren't you hot?" Luffy questioned, tilting his head confused, circling the girl, and taking a closer look at the garments

She chuckles

"Don't worry, it is quite comfortable; as for why I wear it for a few reasons, but I guess the the simple answer is to express myself." 

"I don't get it," Luffy mumbled.

"That's because you're an idiot, Luffy," Ace muttered, shaking his head. 

"No, I'm not!" he screamed, turning around to Ace, banging heads with him as the two began bickering. 

"Umm, is this okay?" she asked, glancing nervously at the third boy.

"Ah, don't worry, they do this a lot, don't mind them; my name is Sabo, by the way, the one with the permanent scowl over there is Ace, and that's Luffy."

"I'm Dokucha! It's nice to meet you guys; I didn't know there were any kids my age around here, yokatta." 

The two brawling boys stop Ace in the process of pulling at Luffy's cheeks as the latter pulls at his hair.

"You live around here?" Ace questioned, pushing Luffy off him, ignoring his whines as he did 

"Umm, you could say that"

"It's either yes or no; there's no in-between," he barks.

"Ace!" Sabo scolds

"I'm sorry, Dokucha!"

"It's okay, umm, I am sorry, it is kind of an in-between; I do live here but don't?"  

"Hah?"

"I umm.. I kind of just go around?" she tries. 

"You... don't have a home?" the oldest questioned

"No..."

"Come stay with us!" Luffy shouted, running towards her and gripping her hands 

She pulls her hands away from him, chuckling nervously; she bows apologetically.

"I'm sorry I - I don't feel comfortable with touching." 

"Sorry," Luffy laughed, retracting his hands, his grin unfiltered by the confession. 

"Come stay with us!" he repeated, this time pumping up his arms in excitement.

"Stay with you? W-Will your parents be okay with that?"

"We don't have parents," Ace cut in

"Oh"

"You don't either do you."

She shakes her head, a frown on her face.

Ace sighed, a small pout notable on his face as he looked away from the girl.

"You should stay with us... we live with the mountain bandits nearby."

She takes one look at his flushed face and covers her mouth, a small chuckle escaping her.

"I would love to".

"No" 

"Come on, Dadan! Let her stay, let her stay, let her stay!" Luffy whined, swinging himself on Dadan's arms

"Absolutely not!" she shrieked, throwing the boy away from her.

"I will not have another brat to take care of! You snotted brats are already too much!"  

"Come on, you old hag!" snarled Ace

"What did you say, you little brat?"

"Ah umm, excuse me," she tried to cut in. 

"What?!"

"Umm, I brought you these; I just wanted to thank you for your time. I know it was a silly request, but it was worth a try, ma'am," she voiced, handing the previously assembled bouquet of flowers to the mountain thief.

Dadan grabbed the flowers, staring at the small girl agape when she suddenly turned around and stomped her way into the hut.

"This ain't charity, so you better pull your part around here!" she growled, slamming the door.

"Ah, does this mean.."

"Don't mind, Dadan, she tends to be like that; I'm pretty sure she likes you," Sabo reassured her. 

"That was her liking me?" she sweatdrops

"She put up a bigger fight when I came along," he pipes in.

"Shishishi, she only took me because Grandpa wouldn't let her say no," Luffy laughed.

"Same here," muttered Ace

"She actually cares about us but prefers to act tough," Sabo clarifies. 

"Oh, so she's like you, Ace?"

"What did you say?!"

he can be a little rough with it. he teared up seeing that he broke the little plushie’s arm off within the first few hours of having it.

you reassure him that it’s okay and that you can just sew it back on and it’s good as new

chopper, like luffy, loves his plushie. he gives you a lot of compliments about how it looks just like him. he gives you the tightest hug

chopper brings his mini-me with him everywhere. because of all the cute outfits that you’ve made for it, he is always matching outfits with the plushie

the reindeer doctor definitely sleeps with the plushie right by his side

usopp keeps his plushie on his workshop desk between his lamp and a cup of pencils and pens where he can always see it

he has developed an unintentional habit of talking to the plushie and showing it his blueprints and new weapons as if it was a real person. there’s something comforting about it

nami keeps hers in the vanity of the girls’ room, so she can see it in every room when she’s getting ready for the day in the morning and when she’s getting ready for bed at night

she loves changing her plushie’s outfit every day. it becomes part of her daily routine

like usopp, nami definitely talks to hers from time to time, ranting about her day or what crazy things luffy has managed to get them into

robin finds her mini-me quite adorable. you know she loves cute things. she couldn’t have asked for a better gift

she keeps her plushie on the nightstand next to her bed, wanting it to be the first thing she sees in the morning and the last thing she sees at night

there are nights were she can’t sleep, her mind refusing to let her relax. she holds onto her plushie and is reminded of you and the rest of the crew, her family

franky adores his mini-me. you even gave it, its own little bottle of cola ?? he could just hug you forever

he adds a little voice box (with your permission of course) to his plushie and records himself saying a few of his catchphrases. so when he does squeeze it, it lets out a little “super!!”

just when jinbei thought there was no way you could get any more precious, you place the plushie version of himself in his hand

he takes such great care of his mini-me. it’s so nice to see him eating with his plushie sitting on his shoulder. or when he’s going for a swim and his mini-me is sitting on a beach chair not too far behind

brook thinks his little skeleton plushie is so precious. he loves your attention to detail. he finds you including his scar very endearing

you even made it a little tea cup that matches his tea cup

he definitely has tea parties with his mini-me and invites you <3

And sanji thinks he's actually talking about the nr 3 burnmark (hc of mine that judge labeled all his children) so she's very thankful to him

I'm so glad you enjoyed them! Fem!Sanji is fun to write, especially when no one knows she's a girl because how can you not know? She is Zeff's little girl! The dumb brat he gave up a leg for on a rock! She is his pride and joy, and everyone knows this!! Also, I love the idea of the burn mark and the confusion therein for Sanji because Chopper thinks she's trans masc when she's not, she's just waiting for her mom's genes to kick in more. Also the shipping, I agree with East Blue Polycule because you can fit all that in together in one go and no one is going ask questions. But I'm getting ahead of myself and skipping to the regulars first so that I can get some funny scenarios out of my head first.

First, Mihawk has watched this girl grow up and probably saw the fall out after shortly after Zeff butchered her hair. When he asked about it, he gave Zeff the most unimpressed look Zeff has ever received because good fuck he could have just braided it until they got into town? That's all he says about that because Sanji is still upset her hair is gone. Then some years later he's calling Zeff and asking when Sanji changed her gender and Zeff is confused because she hasn't but anyone and everyone are calling her a boy, even that crew she set off with. Mihawk is staring out of his office with the denden with an empty gaze as the greenhaired moron he almost slaughtered on the deck of Baratie is in his castle with one of his fellow warlords first mates and he's having a time but at least that hasn't changed.

Buggy is also probably really confused about 'Black Leg Sanji' and "his feats" and when Garp is arresting him they're debating whether or not Sanji would be a good marine until Garp calls her a boy and Buggy corrects him. Garp is staring down at the clown who looks back and is like 'wait, wait. Zeff's called her "princess" and you never questioned why he would call his son that?' to Garp's non-committal shrug of 'He's Zeff.' which, okay yeah, sure. It's Zeff but Zeff never used it in a derogatory manor. Sanji is quite literally his princess. She is the princess of the Baratie that Buggy used to do card tricks for because Zeff had no idea what the hell to do with kids.

Now onto the hilarity because East Blue Poly would be exceptionally hilarious. They all start dating and Sanji thinks Nami is going through a sexuality crisis because she's a girl where as Nami thinks Sanji's a boy and it's never cleared up. Sanji looks particularly butch because it made her life easier at Baratie, and she doesn't want to ruin dresses and skirts and blouses with cooking or blood. She also just never really wore make up unless Baratie was closed for some celebration or something, when she had a reason to doll up because she was so busy. Also she wakes up and goes to bed before and after everyone else so no one catches she's a girl. I think the hilarious exception of Ace clocking it in Alabasta and telling Luffy he's got the prettiest girl and the best cook wrapped in one is an amazing thing and Luffy goes with it but still asks why Ace called Sanji a girl and Ace is confused now. They never clear it up.

When Sanji is training and everyone is talking about forcing her into dresses Sanji is like 'I don't need to be forced, I love dresses! I just don't like ruining them with blood.' and coming back to Sabaody with a few dresses, skirts, blouses, more fem clothing and everyone is like 'you don't have to wear those if they make you uncomfortable' is sending some weird messages to her so she just doesn't wear them still. For the wrong reasons and everyone is confused. Like WCI when Sanji's in her wedding dress and fighting and mourning the blood on the dress and Luffy and Nami are asking her why she's in one because she doesn't wear that stuff and Sanji says she thought they didn't like them on her and the very quick explanation of 'we thought you were a boy!' is Sanji going 'How?' as Nami complains she had a sexuality crisis for nothing until Luffy asks about him, Zoro, and Usopp; Nami concedes that the crisis wasn't for nothing then.

Nami makes sure she's in a kimono like she and Robin are as an apology because they didn't realize that Sanji was a girl and was just dressing for convenience, she's not a boy and was a princess and she is loved.

Also my con was lovely but I'm so glad it's over.

"Are you ok? What happened?" He asked while keeping you close, he wasn't getting any answer but he decided to just leave it wanting you to calm down first. Then a thunder struck making you cry louder while trying to hide yourself more.

You felt his hands ho through your hair calming you down, but when the lightning struck your hands would immediately reach out to Sabo and pull him under the covers with you.

Imagine escaping Ace and ending up on Luffy’s crew - we’re not going to worry about any other surrounding details, but the important bits are that you don’t know they’re brothers.

Luffy doesn’t know the terrifying person you’re running from is his brother. Couldn’t imagine it in a million years.

Maybe it’s post time skip, post Wano even, before you, Ace and Luffy occupy the same space (I am thinking shadow reader vibes, thatch and Ace are alive, etc.)

All through Alabasta the stars just didn’t align, and at Marineford you realize Luffy’s connection to Ace and maybe that’s why you leave with Crocodile again instead of Luffy when everyone’s going their separate ways.

However it works doesn’t matter.

Its just that moment when Ace finds you, he’s relieved and delighted and the others are going to be so happy you’re alive. And for a second Luffy is almost delirious with joy.

His friend and his brother are friends and now they’ve been reunited \o/

But then Luffy looks at you, and he knows.

Your fear is palpable, but more than that he’s putting the pieces of stories he’s heard over two years ago or more together. The emotions. All the details. Your fear is so obvious and strong even the rest of the crew knows without seeing.

Luffy grabs Ace’s wrist and pulls until Ace lets go of you. He doesn’t understand at first, “Luffy what are you doing?”

But the smile fades and the expression on Luffy’s face is a mix of sorrow and despair.

“They’re afraid of you Ace, can’t you see?”

And in those words is so much more. How could you? What did you do? Why is their fear so terrible? Ace - what happen to you to change you so much?

He hasn’t hurt like this since the day he thought Kuma had slaughtered his crew.

And for that to turn into a fight? Yeah, the drums of Liberation will have an almost manic edge to them after that. They cannot be somber, so instead they’ll be a little more wild, a little more free, a little more loud to drown the pain god bears.

It had only been two days since you’ve reunited with the Straw Hats at Sabaody when you got the news. Having the newspaper fall into your hands with those big, bold letters yelling at you felt gut-wrenching. Once more, the worst came true.

‘G-5 Wiped Out By The Kidd Pirates! No Known Survivors!’

‘The Navy group G-5 had sent out a distress call yesterday night, claiming they were under attack. Captain Tashigi sent out the call in a frenzy, saying that the ship was on fire. As she kept the Navy Headquarters on the line, we hear Vice Admiral Smoker tell her to run and hide. Which is the last we hear from him.’

‘Only when it seems Tashigi was discovered is when we know the culprits for the attack. There seemed to be a struggle before we fully hear the Captain of the Kidd Pirates speak through the transponder snail.’

“I know where she is, and no one is going to stand in my way.”

‘Captain Tashigi’s body has not been found.’

Dropping the papers to the ground, the urge to vomit felt overwhelming. Turning to the railing, you hurled up your lunch as everyone began to ask what was wrong.

“(Y/N)! Are you okay? What’s wrong?” Nami’s voice did little to pierce through the clouds of thoughts in your head. Looking down, Nami saw the newspaper you had just read. “G-5? This is a navy group what-oh, this is about those two marines we saw in Alabasta!” More of the Straw Hats gather around the paper.

“Ooh! What does it say?” Chopper says as he gets picked up by Robin to see.

“It says…” Nami's voice trails off as her face drops in horror. “That they’ve been killed.” An icy silence falls over the Thousand Sunny.

“What? No way!” Grabbing the paper, you see Luffy’s face drop before going blank. “That red-headed bastard.” Gripping the paper tightly, Luffy almost tears it apart.

“But I don’t understand. Why did he attack G-5?” You let out a shaky exhale as you looked over your shoulder.

“Cause they were the ones who brought me back to Sabaody. I managed to escape Kidd again and floated in a barrel on the ocean for about seven hours before they found me. They didn’t know I was a Straw Hat, but they took care of me. They were the ones to help me in the first trimesters of my pregnancy.” Biting your lip, you grip the railing as your eyes grow glassy. “They knew Kidd was after me, and they still helped me. They taught me to fight and how to use my devil fruit powers. Every night, I begged some higher power that he’d leave them alone or not even find out about them."

You feel a hand on your back. “(Y/N), it’s not your fault. Please don’t blame yourself for something Kidd’s done.” Hiccups slip from your lips as tears stream across your skin and into the ocean water below. 

“But now they're dead! They wouldn’t have died if they hadn’t helped me! Why does everyone I care about die?” The familiar tingling feeling covers your body as a similar ZAP ring in your ears.

“Ah!”

You see Nami rip her hand away. “I’m sorry, Nami! I didn’t mean to! God, I can’t do anything without hurting the people I care about!” more sobs fly past your lips as electricity slithers around your body.

Rubber limbs wrap around you as Luffy pulls you into a tight embrace. The lightning that surrounded you did nothing to your captain. “(Y/N). I promise you that I’ll kill that man, and you’ll never have to live in fear again.” The zapping stopped as Luffy hugged you.

“Thank you. Please don't let me go back. I can’t go back.” More arms wrap around you.

“Don’t worry, you’ll be safe with us.” While Robin's words gave you a sense of comfort, it wasn’t much. If Kidd was truly able to wipe out an entire Marine group like it was an ant under his boot, then what would he do to the Straw Hats?

Whether you wanted to accept it or not didn’t matter. Kidd wasn’t far and was coming to grab what he believed was rightfully his.

“Yeah.” the sound of the door opening and the light entering the room woke you up more. Her footsteps echo throughout the room before you feel a dip at the end of your bed,

“How are you feeling? Any better?”

“No.” You whisper as you curl up more. “The gnawing feeling is only getting worse.”

Sighing, Nami scoots closer to you. “You can tell me if something is bothering you.” She tries to reassure you.

With a shaky breath, you barely tell her the chaos going on in your mind.

“I almost forgot you.”

“What?” She asks, confused.

“There was an incident when I was with Kidd. I hit my head super hard to the point I could’ve died. And the sheer intensity of the hit caused me to have severe amnesia. I didn’t even remember that it was Kidd who attacked my island.” Your voice was soft as you continued. “He told me he saved me. And I believed him. He made himself sound so trustworthy. He fed me lies. Built up a whole relationship for me to believe. And it almost caused me to miss our meet-up. If it wasn’t for someone on the inside who was helping me.”

“Really? Who was it?”

Looking away, you stay quiet for a moment. “I'd rather not talk about it.”

“That’s okay. We don’t have to if you don’t want to.” You nod.

“There's a small, sickening part of me, a part of me that I wish would go away, that misses him.” Gripping the blankets tightly, you grimace. “I know he made up so many lies, but the five months I lost my memory, I remember being so happy.”

“No one is gonna hate you for that (Y/N).” Nami rubs your back.

“It’s been six months. Why can’t I get over it? Why can’t I get over him after all he’s done? Why is my body still cold at night, no matter how many blankets I have? Why do I still have dreams where I love him and want nothing but him?” As your voice grew quieter with each word, guilt continued to eat at you.

“Sometimes our brain works in silly ways, despite how cruel it is. It’s not uncommon for victims like you to experience this. So please don’t think your alone.”

“Even when I’m not thinking about him, I always feel like something's missing. I try so hard to be happy and ignore these feelings, but they eat me up every day. And I hate it. I hate how I can’t go a day without crying.” Your words become shaky as you bite your lip.

“(Y/N)...you have been through so much. No one’s going to hate you for crying. All the tears you shed are justified.”

Letting out a sniffle, you hold your pillow tighter. “I know you're right…so why can’t I accept it? Why do I feel like this? I have so many questions, and it makes my heart heavy—almost all of it unbearable.”

“And yet here you are, alive and pushing through the pain. Even if you don't see it, you're much stronger than you give yourself credit for. Your parents would be proud, even if they're not here to say it.”

“You think so?”

Nami nods. “And the people who hate you for Kidd’s actions don’t deserve your tears. They’ll never know how strong you truly are. Your one of the strongest people I know. Even through hell and high water, you're here.”

You stay silent for a moment. “Do you think I’ll be a good mother?”

“I think you’ll be great.” Hearing Nami’s words, you smiled with tears.

“You're so sweet, and you're all so kind.” Tears slightly slip down your cheeks. “Why am I crying? I’m happy, so why am I crying?” You say through tears.

“Pregnancy’s rough.” Nami chuckles before looking out the window. “I’ll let you get some more sleep, so sleep well, okay?”

“Will do.” You salute with a chuckle of your own.

“That’s a first.” Robin laughs as she watches you chow down on grilled cheese with pickles in it while dipping it in maple syrup.

“Ew, that looks gross-” A WACK could be heard throughout the dining room as Sanji cut Zoro off.

“Shut up, moss head! She eats what she wants!” While they begin to argue, you can’t help but continue to eat your food, the weird textures satisfying your cravings.

“Is it good?”

“I think so. Why? Wanna try some?” Tearing a part off, you give some to Luffy. You watch as he inhales the piece you handed out to him. The whole table laughed as Luffy gagged.

“Why are you eating that?! It’s like poison!”

“It’s called pregnancy cravings. Many pregnant women have them. It’s very common in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. They do leave closer to the early trimester, but it’s not always the case.” A chuckle leaves your lips as you watch Luffy listen to Chopper's words.

“Wow! What other weird cravings have you had?”

“Well, before I came back to Sunny, I couldn’t get enough of tuna sandwiches with oreos crushed in them.” You answer, slightly embarrassed.

The conversations about your pregnancy cravings could have gone on for hours before you began to have a terrible feeling in your chest. Like something was wrong, but you couldn’t put your finger on it. The seas were clear, and there was no sign of another boat in sight, so why were you feeling this way?

Probably because it’s only been two days since you’ve left G-5, and Kidd had already found them. Which, in turn, means he found you.

Even if the seas were clear now, how long would they be? Whether you’d admit it or not, you knew Kidd was coming. And with him was the blood of the people he’s killed just to get you back to him. All the guilt soon began to flood through you again, but you didn’t want to show the others and ruin the joyful mood around you.

You couldn’t help but be jealous of all your friends around you. They all looked so happy while you silently wallowed in your misery, drowning in your fear of the unknown. You didn't know if when you closed your eyes, you’d open them and see fire surrounding you as Kidd attacked The Sunny or that you’d wake up and see yourself stuck back into the small dark room that Kidd held you captive in.

“(Y/N) are you okay?”

“Hmm? Oh, uh, yeah. Just thinking.” You lie, hoping it’ll be enough.

“If you say so.”

“I promise, Robin, I’m okay. I’m simply thinking about names.” Again, you lie hopefully to put Robin at peace.

“Really?!” Jumping up and down in his seat, Chopper looks at you excitedly. “What are they?!”

While you didn’t have names for the actual baby in your tummy, you had names for the baby you would’ve had with your fiance if they were still alive to this day. “Well, there are (....), (.....), and (....) if they’re a girl, and (.....) or (.....) for a boy.”

“Oh, I like them! Especially the last girl's name.”

“That’s nice to hear. I’m glad.” It was nice to hear how you and your fiance's choices of names were liked. It brought a warm feeling to your chest and helped calm the internal storm inside you—if only a little bit.

“Princess, where are you?” The sickening sing-song voice of Kidd invades your ears.

‘Oh my god, please no. This can’t be happening.’ Covering your mouth, you hide in the Sunny’s kitchen closet. 

“You can’t hide forever. You know I’ll find you.” His voice gets louder as the sound of his boots makes your heart speed up. How did he know you were in the kitchen? Where were the others? How did he even get on the Sunny?

The sound of his boots stopping right in front of the locked door had your blood running cold. There was a sickening silence outside the door, and it made you sick to your stomach.

The bright lights of the kitchen hit your shaking form as Kidd’s shadow soon took over the small hiding spot. You look up in horror and see Kidd’s amber eyes looking down at you. A crazy and sinister smile played against his painted lips.

“There you two are.” With a rough grab, Kidd brings you to your feet and pulls you close. “I’ve been looking for you two for a long time.” The smell of sake and fresh blood invades your nose. 

“No, you can come back where you belong by my side. No one here to save you now, princess.”

Your eyes shoot open as you quickly look around, terror filling you as you fear you were no longer on the Thousand Sunny. But thankfully, the sound of a giggling Luffy, Ussop, and Chopper calmed your nerves. Taking a deep breath, you close your eyes and try to go back to sleep.

But as time passed, no amount of counting sheep helped you go back to sleep. All you could think about was the nightmare. It had felt so real. It felt as if his skin had really touched your own. That his presence was really there, even if it was only a dream, you felt dirty. His ‘skin’ touching yours, his hands covered in the blood of hundreds who opposed him. Innocent lives were taken simply because you were no longer trapped in his insanity.

And knowing it ate you alive.

The incident at Halyard Island still plagues you months later. A whole island burned to the ground just like your own. Not to mention the blame they put on you. Even though you know, there was nothing that could have foreseen such a tragedy. It also unfortunately became a reoccurring nightmare. Every time you saw the little boy you had met that day surrounded in flames, calling out to his mom. When you go to try and save him, the flames grow brighter as you're stuck in place. Watching him call out for his mom. The flames would get hotter and hotter as screams of terror echoed around you. Causing you to wake up in a cold sweat. 

The nightmare was way more consistent when the incident first happened. But thankfully, it’s not as common as it used to be. Instead of five times a week, it only happened three to four times a month now.

But that didn’t mean all the nightmares stopped together. You had more nightmares than you did nights where you had nothing. Each one leaves you in a cold sweat when you awake from them. Shaking and scanning the room in fear, you were on the Victoria Punk instead of the Thousand Sunny. You had bags under your eyes from the lack of sleep, not including being pregnant. You were even more tired than someone usually would be. At least that's how you felt.

Getting up from your bed, you let out a sigh. Your body hurt, and you just couldn’t wait for the entire pregnancy to be over. No more having to go to the bathroom twenty-four-seven, constant body pains, and nausea. The day couldn’t come fast enough.

KNOCK KNOCK

The sudden sound of knocking makes you more alert. “Hello?! Uh, come in?” As you try to calm down your heart, you see Robin and Chopper enter.

“Oh, Robin! Chopper! How can I help you guys?” You watch as they look at each other in the eyes before looking at you. “Is something wrong?”

“There’s something you need to see.” Holding out her hand, Robin looks towards you. Carefully, you took her hand in yours. A horrible feeling runs through you as soon as you grab her hand. You feel Chopper grab your other hand.

They lead you to the deck where everyone else surrounds a transponder snail. All their faces filled with anger, and clenching their fists as they stare at Luffy, who holds the mic.

“How the hell are you able to call this snail?” Luffy’s voice has you breaking a sweat as you walk down the stairs. You can’t hear the voice on the other line or what they're saying, but it dug a crippling fear in your heart as your mind soared.

“You have a lot of nerve calling my ship and threatening my crew members.” The venom dripping from Luffy’s words has goosebumps on your skin.

“Who is he talking to?” You whisper to Robin. She turns her gaze to you before finally leading you close enough to hear the voice beyond the other line.

“Listen here, you bastard. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll turn around now. Cause the moment I see you, I’m going to kill you for all you’ve done to (Y/N).”

Covering your mouth, you feel lightheaded as you hear his voice.

“I’d like to see you try Straw Hat. I’m going to take (Y/N) back, and the moment I do, I’m going to make you regret stealing from me. Stealing what’s mine.”

“Oh my god.” Your body shakes in its spot.

“She’s not going anywhere with you, Eustass Kidd. I’ll make sure that you’ll never even see her before killing you.”

“Listen here, you little shit, I’m taking her back, and I’ll kill every one of you pathetic Straw Hats. No one, not even the devil, can stop me from taking her back."

You walk over to Luffy, trying to gather confidence before tapping his shoulder. As Luffy turns to you, the look of hatred and rage bubbling in his eyes. “Can I?” As soon as Luffy sees you, his features soften, but not by much.

“Are you sure? You don’t have to.” He whispers to you, yet you nod. There are just so many things you have to ask. Sending a nod in return, Luffy gives you the transponder snail.

“Hello, Kidd.”

“Ah, well, if it isn’t my princess. What a surprise to hear your voice so soon. Thought I’d have to wait just a little longer.” Even if he wasn’t with you, you could practically envision the wide smile on his face.

“How are you able to call us?”

"That doesn’t matter, princess. What matters now is that I found you. After months of looking for you, I finally found you.” The insanity in his voice slipped through the phone, making your chest beat harder.

“Where are you?” I ask as I look around but see nothing. The seas clear as the sun began to set.

“That's not important right now, but I just know you’ll see me soon. And when you do, I’m going to grab you and never let you go.” You're left speechless as you listen to him. “I’ll hold you close and make you watch as I kill off every single Straw Hat before your eyes.”

“You can’t! I won’t let you!” Kidd chuckles from the other side, making a shiver run down your spine.

“Oh, but I will. And when I do, you and our unborn child will be right back where you belong. And you and I both know that you're at a dead end. No more running away from me, princess. I suggest getting ready and packed.” His nonchalant attitude brings you over the edge.

“I won’t be going anywhere! I’m my own person, not an object!” Gripping the snail tight, you yell into the snail. “I won’t let you near my friends or my baby!”

“You know, that’s almost the same thing that Vice Admiral Smoker said before Killer took care of him for me. Went down like a sack of bricks!” Laughter rang through the line, making you ball your hands into fists.

“What did you do to Tashigi? The paper said they never found her body. So what did you do to her?”

“You mean four eyes? Well, that’s actually something I was gonna discuss with you about.” You can practically hear the smirk on his lips. “She’s alive, but her life is in your hands.”

“What? What do you mean?”

“I’ll spare her pathetic life if you come back to me without a fight. But if you don’t, then I’ll kill her.”

“B-Bullshit!” Looking at the snail, you feel a brand new burden on your shoulders. “How do I know you're not lying to me?”

“I thought you might say that, princess.” Scuffling comes from the other side before a door opens and closes. “Oi! Wake up four eyes. You’ve got a person wanting to talk to you.”

A raspy voice answers the phone. “H-Hello?”

“Tashigi?!”

“You're really alive! I thought you were dead!” You cry through the phone. “I’m so happy you're alive!”

“See? I told you she’s alive. And if you come to me like a good girl, she’ll stay that way. But if not, you can say goodbye to Tashigi." His words cause your plan with the Straw Hats to turn upside down. If you don’t come to him willingly, he’ll kill Tashigi, but if you don’t fight back, he’ll kill the Straw Hats. Or hell, he’d try to kill the Straw Hats no matter what you choose. Plus, how are you so sure he’d keep his word? All of it made it feel like your heart and chest would burst.

“Why? Why are you doing this to me?” You clutch your chest as you wait for a response.

“Because people do crazy things when they're in love. And fortunately for you, I am.”

This is me, the Lamikkaku anon. You wanted to hear more so here it is:

Firstly, I wanted to talk about how Lami survived. Basically she ran from the hospidal looking for Law and was found by marines. Luckily Vice admiral Tsuru was there, and feeling compassion towards the girl she took her in and decided to help her. Thanks to Tsuru washing Lami with her devil fruit the white amber lead desease isn't deadly anymore but its still a persistent/chronic illness and Lami has to be washed very often. This is kept as a secret only she and Tsuru know.

So she grows up in the marines, she isn't too fond of them and dislikes the goverment for obvious reasons but she has no where else to go and reconises Tsuru as a good person. I think she knows who Corasan is. She never met him since he was already with Doflamingo by the time she was rescued, by Sengoku must have went on and on about his kid and how great he is. Until, you know, the deranged gay bird kills him.

When Lami is a older she hears about this piraye named Trafalgar Law and immediately reconises him. She can't say anything of course because he is a pirate and she is a marine, but it gives Lami some hope. Eventually she joins SWORD and decides that she will at least try to meet her brother. She appears on Dressrosa but since shit gets really bad she is too occupied to talk to Law, but she manages to listen to Law and Sengoku's conversation.

Eventually she decides to join XDrake as a spy in Kaidou's beast pirates because she heard about the ninja-pirate-mink-samurai alliance and once Law gets there they reunite. There is tears, catching up, and Law uses his powers to finally get rid of Lami's amber lead desease so she isn't 100% dipendednt from Tsuru's powers anymore.

She helps during the raid and really bonds with the Hearts: she thinks that Bepo is adorable, finds Pemguin and Shachi to be humorous but the one she likes the company the most if is Ikkaku. She leaves with them instead of going back to the marines after the raid.

But of course, Blackbeard has to be an asshole and now Law is separated from his sister again. HOWEVER all of the hearts survived (if this isn't canon I will explode) and they ended up is some uncharted island were they try their best to trive and build a raft or something. All of their equipment got destroyed.

Its around this time that Lami and Ikkaku grow very close, and eventually it just blossoms into a full on romance. The others are worried Law might freak out but Ikkaku reassures them that she is, in fact, the only person here worthy of dating the captain's sister.

Okay, first of all, I love your brain. I want to open your skull and idk, grab a straw and drink from it. This is altering my brain chemistry- Okay. AAAAAAAAAAAA. I have so many thoughts. (The first post about this if somebody is interested).

I absolutely love everything about this. It's such a good way to make Lami survive. She joins the Marines but she doesn't actually wanna be there, it's just her way of surviving. But still, she manages to be one of the good marines. In fact, joining SWORD also means she probably meets Koby/Hibari/Helmeppo and I can't stop thinking about them actually getting along pretty well? When she finds out Law is alive and she decides to go undercover too to see him, the only people who know about her true reasons are those three. I just find it cute. Luffy's biggest fan (Koby) and Law's biggest fan (Lami) being friends is something really funny to me.

When they see each other again in Wano, Law can't believe it. For a whole second, he actually believes he's getting tricked somehow. It has to be some devil fruit user or- Or maybe he's losing his mind. The heart pirates don't know what's going on, but Law stands there, astonished and static and about to cry. When he never, ever cries in front of anybody that isn't Bepo (or Shachi/Penguin/Ikkaku but that's if his mental state is on the verge of collapsing even more than usual). Long story short, there's no time to explain everything but Lami tells him the important things and decides she's going to stay with him. The girl doesn't even care about whether she's a marine or not, she just breaks the cover and goes "well, change of titles now. Brother, I am going with you" and tbh Law doesn't find it appropriate. He doesn't want his little sister to be a pirate. He wants her to have a normal life and live in peace the way she deserves. But she reminds him that she's (was) a marine. She's strong. She can fight and she will fight, whether he likes it or not. And look, she's always been cute and cheerful but now she's also stubborn, so he can't say no to her. Besides, having her in the crew also means having her close, so that's a win for him. It'll be easier to keep her safe like that (even if she can actually fight on her own).

And let me tell you. Her dynamic with the Heart Pirates is amazing.

Everybody loves her and they seriously question if she's truly Law's sister because she is... So different from him. She's sweet and fun and upbeat and everyone is side-eying Law like "Are you sure this girl isn't like... mistaking you for another person?" and Law is about to cut Shachi and Penguin in half if they don't shut up about that. She loves Bepo. She adores him. Bepo loves her back. She won't let go of him. They're best friends now and she considers him to be the most adorable thing on earth. Also, she trusts him with her life since he's Law's first mate and that means Law trusts him too. Law thinks he's going to have a heart attack because he doesn't know if he loves this situation (his favorite people together) or if he hates it (what if they like being together more??? Without him???? He's a bit jealous). Lami also loves Shachi and Penguin. They love her back. Law hates it because they're even more chaotic together and they won't stop being touchy with his sister (not in a weird way, they're just a very affectionate crew and Lami loves hugging them back). Lami indulges them and follows them in everything they do and Law is so, so tired. He keeps telling them to stop acting like that but Shachi and Penguin always say "But you never hug us back!!" / "Yeah, captain! She's sweeter and cuter and way nicer!" and Law is about to lose it. The only one that doesn't make Law furious is Ikkaku, surprisingly so. Ikkaku is just so nice and fun to be around that Lami loves her right away. She has never had actual friends outside the Marines and she's so excited to start this new life with them! Ikkaku shows her around the ship and explains every little thing to her, and Lami is so, so thrilled to finally be free of everything that was holding her back. The thing is-- Lami feels guilty for what happened because she thinks she could've saved Law somehow or- Or maybe met him earlier than this. She doesn't want to tell him because she knows it will only hurt him, so she opens up to Ikkaku instead, and she's the one to comfort her and understand her better. Lami also asks Ikkaku to tell her about Law and what kind of person he is now. What kind of adventures they've had. Ikkaku and Lami grow closer and closer and they're the girls™ of the crew. Also, Lami is a very lesbian disaster and Ikkaku is also a lesbian mess, so Ikkaku flirts with her shamelessly, and Lami blushes and giggles and kicks her feet. While Lami flirts with Ikkaku without even noticing, and Ikkaku faints every time. Shachi and Penguin have a bet going on about them.

Not to mention that everybody is weirded out by Law's behavior now. Now that Lami is back in his life, he looks... Happier? He smiles more. Like. Actual laughs and smiles. He's so sweet and protective when it comes to Lami it's just odd to see him like that. He kisses her forehead and hugs her and whenever she's playful and teases him, he actually laughs and has fun. Bepo is like "Oh, true, you haven't seen captain like this, right? Isn't he cute?" when the Strawhats see this, and they're all like "More than cute it's just... Unsettling". Honestly, the heart pirates couldn't be happier for their captain. Talking about the Strawhats: Since they're all in Wano and Lami is helping them out, she meets them there. And I think, since Lami and Koby are friends, that she would instantly love and admire Luffy. The whole crew would again be saying "Is this seriously your sister, Torao?" and she'd go "Torao?? They call you Torao??" / "No. They don't. Don't give her ideas-" / "It's okay, Torao-" / "Fuck". And now Law is having the worst time of his life because Luffy and Lami get along and he's starting to lose it. But, anyway, they're happy, so whatever. He's just glad she's alright.

And this has nothing to do with Lamikkaku but I think Lami is religious (I think it's pretty obvious, like, the religious background in Law's story). After everything fucked up that happened to them, Law stopped believing for obvious reasons. But Lami sometimes prays and talks about God and fate and Law is very against that because "If God exists, why would he let this happen to us? If somebody as powerful as that makes us go through this suffering, I don't think it deserves to be worshipped" and Lami just smiles softly and says: "I can see your view. But still, believing isn't accepting everything God does. I guess it's dumb, isn't it? But I like to think Mom and Dad are in a better place now. I like to think that you'll be in a better place if they take you away from me again" and Law can't fight against that. Then, Luffy Gear 5th happens and Law has a whole catholic crisis. But that's for another day. Make this Lawlu if you feel like it. The point is Nika my beloved-

Now, Lamikkaku moment:

They survive the fight against Blackbeard. All of them. Except for the Polar Tang (RIP, you were an amazing ship, darling). So they end up on a deserted island and... Things are bad. They're all devastated. The first thing Law does is look for Lami to check if she's alright. And she is, kind of. They're all glad they're fine, but they've lost their ship. Their equipment. Their food. And instead of resting and thinking about it, Law is already trying to plan something to escape from here, feeling responsible and guilty and-- Both Lami and Bepo are the most concerned, but they're all going through a rough time. While they get back on their feet, Ikkaku and Lami get even closer. Lami is close to Law constantly because she's pretty much the only person that he can open up to and rest with whenever he's overworking himself. He only sleeps when she's around. Etc etc. But Lami can't deal with all of that on her own and it's obvious, so it's Ikkaku the one looking after her. Lami won't lose faith in God for this, but she's still pretty frustrated that something like this has happened to them again. Ikkaku tells her that sometimes is the people around you you have to rely on and not just God, even if it does help most of the time to believe in something like that. They spend most of their time together. Sleep together. Lami has nightmares and Ikkaku helps. Ikkaku is trying her best to cheer up the crew along with Shachi and Penguin but it's hard, and she's working hard to maintain the order too. Lami admires her strength because she hasn't seen her falter or hesitate yet in the time they've been there, and Ikkaku just says that it's what a pirate does. Get back on their feet and fight. And besides, if the crew needs somebody to rely on while their captain is busy/going through it, she doesn't mind being the voice of the reason. And Ikkaku is not a Goddess, but Lami is starting to feel the same trust and comfort she feels when praying while she's next to her. One thing leads to another and they end up falling for each other rather quickly. They don't want to tell Law yet, because he's... Not ready for news. But Bepo/Shachi/Penguin find out at some point and they're sure Law is going to be furious (because he won't let any of them go near Lami romantically) but Ikkaku is sure it won't happen. She's sure Law will be happy for them. First of all, because Lami keeps saying Law only wants the best for her and would never go against that. And second of all, because Ikkaku says that if Law ever had to let somebody date his sister, it would be Ikkaku. Law ends up finding out because, you know, these three can't keep their mouth shut. And he surprisingly doesn't care. In fact, in a moment of desperation, it makes him so happy to see his sister finding love. He tells Ikkaku in private to take care of her, and she only smiles and says "Aye, captain" and Lami overhears, so she ends up hugging him right after.

They're clingy but their presence and PDA aren't annoying. It's just sweet. They hold hands and kiss and they keep teasing each other, and it brings a new energy to the crew. It gives Law hope. If Lami has managed to come back, they'll be able to come back stronger too. Of course, they're a bit chaotic too since they're pretty different to Law, but it's alright. As time passes by, Ikkaku ends up teasing Law about it and she can't help but make the 'I fucked your sister' jokes because, c'mon, how could she not? Lami finds it hilarious, and she knows Law isn't really that angry at Ikkaku at the end of the day. Ikkaku seems like the cool, protective one, but in reality, whenever there's a fight and people underestimate Lami, Ikkaku just stares at her like "That's my girl <3" while she kicks ass. Basically, they're the cutest, most supportive girls, and Law just knows Cora is happy for them too.

Okay so usopp most definitely admires sanji and his strength and how he seems very sure of himself the way he presents himself to others the way he talks the way he fights everything!! (I actually think sanji is pretty insecure but is vry good at covering it up. But usopp doesnt rlly see that and just sees him as this super cool suave dude) bro definitely has a crush on sanji for sureee

But usopp also seems very insecure and believes hed obviously never have a chance so even tho it hurts him he comes to terms with the fact that nothing is ever gonna happen there. Like when u have a crush but ur like yeah no way in hell am I ever confessing <3

Anyway sanji is most likely oblivious to all this lmao. He definitely treats usopp better compared to other male characters and I think its because deep down he likes usopp too he just doesnt know how to process those feelings cos man is repressed as hell😭. So he thinks yeah that's just normal friendship definitely doesnt mean anything that I'm always worried about him and enjoy his company more than anyone elses and make snacks specifically for him and take into consideration what stuff he likes or wants to protect him in fights or takes time to ask about his hobbies and is genuinely interested in what hes doing and believes in his abilities even when usopp doesnt believe in himself.

Also listen during water seven when usopp and luffy are fighting the fact that sanji kicks them both and looks so genuinely scared and hurt that luffy implied usopp should leave makes me so insane. And personally I never thought sanji would be the voice if reason I expected him to be like yeah usop let it go and stop trying to disobey your captains orders so It threw me for a loop cos sanji was so adamant on not letting usopp leave and was standing up for him. I am foaming at the mouth btw Anyway

The 2 yr timeskip happens and usopp gets jacked but also matures and grows and I love him so so much he realizes so much about himself and oh yeah also crush on sanji? Bros over it. Hes moved on and is okay being friends and just personally dealt with his feelings and grew in such a healthy way for himself. Like yes it hurt, change and growth are painful but inevitable and time passes. Feelings change and that's okay.

Sanji grows and matures too and comes to accept alot of things about himself and is more comfortable in his own skin and identity! And he starts to realize zamnn usopp has also grown and changed and bettered himself and has such a lively air to him and overall is more confident!?

Then maybe someone in passing (like zoro) mentions something like oof too late loverboy that ship sailed so long ago hella missed ur chance. And sanji malfunctions!!!

TPRG: Ch.8 Feeling of Love

     Walking back into your room, you sighed, allowing the maids to start cleaning the dirt from under your nails. The small patch had required more work than you’d expected, having to pull out a number of dying or ‘wrong’ flowers. The brothers had asked what was wrong about them, but you just shook your head and pulled them out. It was already too easy to talk to them, too easy to tell them everything, you had to stop yourself from saying anything further. If you were being honest, what was wrong with the flowers wasn’t necessarily ‘wrong’ per say. It’s that the plant had grown too strong, it’s magic grown too far, they were dangerous if left unattended. Another of your mother’s observations. They’d grow stronger and stronger, their petals would turn from white to any one of a number of colors depending on the particular type, powers that could kill a man with just a touch or cause blessings to surge and destroy entire countrysides. Flowers that were too dangerous to leave be. Part of you wished you could truly continue your mother’s research, access all of her journals, continue her experiments and observations, attempt to recreate the strange and wondrous tonics. But you weren’t the scientist she was, her studies weren’t your passion like they had been with her. Picking up and twirling one of the flowers in your hand, you couldn’t help but smile lightly before bringing it close to your face and inhaling. Obsession. That’s what your mother had named this one. So named for what it could do if allowed to grow too far. A simple warm feeling in your heart, like a feeling of love, of being loved. It was one you enjoyed when you missed your mother, imagining her holding you in her arms and singing you a lullaby or drinking tea together and talking about anything and everything. 

     “You okay, Princess? You seem… I don’t know… off, I guess.” Ace said. Slowly you opened your eyes, smiling and the brothers.

     “Yeah, just… enjoying the beauty of my mother’s flowers, I suppose.” you said, unable to help the loving gaze you sent their way. Standing up, you straightened Luffy’s guard outfit before dusting him off, smiling once you’d finished before moving on to Ace, removing a large number of leaves from his hair and clothing. He’d chosen to lean against a wall covered in foliage, the greenery sticking to him with ease, leaves that now littered your bedroom floor, the eldest brother blushing as you dusted him off.

     “What was that for? I mean, I know I had some leaves in my hair, but it wasn’t too bad.” he said defensively as he looked away. You smiled as you faced Sabo, the blond looking the cleanest of the three.

     “Just… taking care of the people who do such a good job of guarding me.” you said softly, gently removing some soot from Sabo’s fingertips where the flower had burst into flames before inspecting him to make sure there was nothing else that needed to be done. 

     “What flower was that that has you so… affectionate?” Sabo asked with a chuckle, picking up the flower you’d placed on the coffee table.

     “Obsession. That’s my mother’s name for it. Though don’t worry, it’s harmless in its… it’s harmless.” you said, gently taking the flower from him before holding it up to your lips and blowing. Sabo’s cheeks flushed bright red as he stared at you, swallowing hard.

     “W-wow. I uh… that’s something.” he said, turning away from you.

     “I wanna try! Let me see!” Luffy shouted. You gently blew against the flower again, watching as Luffy’s face lit up.

     “That feels really good!” Luffy said, giving you a tight hug, “it makes me want to hug you and take care of you! Kind of like how Gramps took care of us but with less hitting.” Luffy said, making you laugh. Before Ace could even take a step back, you were already hitting him with the effects of the flower, the young man immediately turning away from you, his cheeks bright red and his heart pounding.

     “W-what was that for?! I never said I wanted to be a part of this! This is… it’s distracting!” he said nervously, trying to ignore how happy and giddy he felt. Part of him wanted to pull you into a large hug before spinning you around, another part of him wanted to hug Luffy so tightly, even the boy’s rubber abilities wouldn’t save him, and yet a third part wanted him to ask if there was anything you, Luffy, or Sabo needed in an attempt to care for you. 

     “You can’t deny that it feels good, Ace.” Sabo said with a chuckle, taking a few deep breaths as he tried to gather himself together and stay focused. Luffy was rarely focused and Ace was distracted, one of them needed to be keeping an eye on you. It felt really good, too good. He almost wanted the sensation to last forever, but he had his duties, meaning he had to do his best to ignore his desires to shower both you and his brothers in all the love in the world. 

     “So uh, not all of the flowers are the same then?” he asked as you smiled down at the flower in your hand before letting it tumble from your fingertips into the nearby trash.

     “No, I… don’t know much about them, but I know there’s a few different kinds in the garden. This one is my favorite. Don’t worry, the effects will only last an hour at most.” you reassured, sitting down on a chair and letting yourself enjoy the feelings that it brought you. The brothers hesitantly did the same, though with Sabo still on alert, or as on alert as he could be with the feelings that kept flooding his system. It was a while later that the 4 of you finally shook off the effects, though none of you moved to get up.

     “So do we have anything else on the agenda, Princess?” Sabo asked once he was no longer having a hard time concentrating. You hummed in thought, looking up at the ceiling, you no longer had lessons with Madam Serena, your lessons to rule the kingdom weren’t until tomorrow, though you suspected those would soon become a daily thing, and you didn’t have any meetings today.

     “Just one thing. I’m craving some sweets.” you said with a mischievous grin, the brothers mimicking the look as you all jumped up and started grabbing things for a little ‘excursion’. You were free from prying eyes, you were free from the duties and harassment of Madam Serena, and you were craving more than just a few treats. It couldn’t have been more than half an hour before you were outside the castle walls once more, grinning like a madwoman. 

     “So, after we get something to snack on, is there anywhere else you’d like to go? We know of a few great shops, we could get lunch, we should have some time before anyone needs us.” Ace asked, his hands behind his head as you walked down the streets.

     “We shouldn’t take any longer than necessary though, people might get suspicious if we’re not careful.” Sabo reminded, making Ace sigh.

     “I say we get lunch! There’s a place in midtown! They have the best meat!” Luffy suggested, already salivating at the thought.

     “Sweets, lunch, and one shop, then we’ll head back, is that alright?” you asked, glancing at Sabo, the blond nodding and smiling. 

     “Just don’t get me executed and I’m happy.” he said as the four of you headed towards your favorite pastry shop.

first of all... what 15 year old am i following?! i assure you its not on purpose.

second, ultimately i think "anti/proship" is kind of reductive discourse. i like psychosexual horror and toxic relationships and self shipping. and i dont think everyone who enjoys exploring dark topics is an abuse apologist. i do think sometimes people can be reactive and overcorrect with those things. there are plenty of grey areas!!

HOWEVER anyone who actively identifies as "proship", or believes strongly enough to start debating people about how "fiction doesnt affect reality" and has no bearing on rape/abuse culture is a fucking idiot. i especially cant stand anything shipping characters with their childhood caretakers or incest. which is what im trying to weed out w/ the DNI. ill always have more sympathy for "antis" even if i dont always agree with them.

that being said, theres certain things that personally ick me out that I don't find morally reprehensible/block worthy. i would never post or encourage la/wlu or mihawk/perona - the age gaps are gross to me - but i also don't think theyre really that bad. not nearly on the same level as something like coralaw or shanksluffy. like, peronas fully an adult and luffy only really gets to know law when hes 19 already. but i can promise id never retweet or reblog anything with those ships.

in general i try to give people the benefit of the doubt and don't hold people responsible for who they interact with (within reason). people are not necessarily friends with everyone they follow. people often use twitter much more casually.

im also like, a person, with a full time job, and i dont always extensively comb through someones twitter. sometimes i follow someone i think draws normal cora + law or asl brothers and i get jumpscared by nasty shit and it is! very unpleasent for me!

i care a lot about abuse/rape culture and how we as individuals are still complicit in it and can combat it, and I apply feminist analysis to all types of media - even fanworks. i was legit traumatized by 2010s fandom, and saw a lot of people get hurt and abused by fandom adults, so I know the effects of this "anything goes" mentality can have on people! i wish we could have these discussions without getting defensive and hostile and accusing nervous teenagers of being evangelical zealots (🙄) because theyre trying to protect themselves

if anything i said is something youre not comfortable with, then thats fair and block me if you need to. i encourage anyone, especially younger people, to enforce their own boundaries as they see fit. 👍🏻

North Blue Language CH 10

“The hell are you two doing?” Zoro snaps, making them both look at him.

(woops it's been a minute, Tumblr gets 3 chapters today)

The cook doesn't let Zoro touch him again. At least, not like that. They still fight, train. Touching the cook with any sort of kindness is out of the question. Actually the cook isn't touching anyone on his own accord, Luffy will tackle or climb him when he's hungry and Robin will lay a hand on his shoulder when they pass but the cook’s hands do not wander.

Punk Hazard has them forming an alliance with Law and the Heart Pirates. Law is just about as touchy as a cactus but he sticks close to the cook in a way that makes Zoro’s skin crawl. The cook can handle himself and by the looks he and Robin pass each other it’s fine with how close Traffy is.

“I’m worried about Sanji.” Nami tells him with a huff.

“Why?” Zoro asks, he's not. Cook’s fine. “He seems fine.”

“It's just, when we switched bodies he didn't even try to peek!” Nami exclaims and Zoro cocks a brow at her.

“You're angry he’s not perving on you?” Zoro asks in disbelief.

“It's just not like him! He's been so different since he got back. He's not hugging anyone, he's smoking way more, whatever is happening is concerning.” Nami explains drawing a shape in the snow. “He hates the cold and hasn't complained once.”

“If Luffy isn't concerned then we shouldn't be.” Zoro shrugs and Nami looks at him with anger.

“He's not okay! You're Luffy's voice of reason and you know it! He's part of our crew, he's Luffy's left hand like you're his right! You're the monster trio not duo!” Nami exclaims, giving him a look of rage.

“He's a cook.” Zoro shrugs so Nami huffs at him and walks away. If the Cook wants to be different, let him. Mihawk and Sora won't be disappointed in him at all. But he's not the cook’s parents, he's nakama, sure. If the Cook wants to act like this then let him. He wonders about phoning them real quick on a denden mushi to make sure they know.

Law also saves Sanji, haphazardly but he does. Zoro fixes him with a look that doesn't waver the warlord. Law fixes him with one of his own and then follows Sanji. Luffy doesn't seem bothered at all still so Zoro shrugs it off. Zoro heads into the galley about a half hour later in search of sake and freezes.

Kikoku is a long cursed sword that's home is on Law's shoulder, it's almost as tall as the man who carries it and Sanji is holding Kikoku and inspecting it like he's held swords everyday of his damned life. Law is leaning against the counter watching with the barest hint of amusement. Sanji unsheathes it and inspects the blade closer.

“The hell are you two doing?” Zoro snaps, making them both look at him.

“Fuck off, Mosshead. This sword won't try to kill me, it's well behaved unlike Kitetsu.” Sanji snaps back. “Damn, my old man would've loved this thing.”

“A collector?” Law asks.

“Of sorts.” Sanji answers as he sheathes the sword and gives it back.

“A pity for swords to never be used.” Law said as Kikoku finds its home again.

“They were all used plenty. Had a display room where we'd go through and pick apart each one.” Sanji grins as he starts making onigiri. “No umeboshi, right?”

“Thank you, Blackleg-ya.” Law nods.

“You two are awfully chummy.” Zoro says as he grabs a bottle of sake to drink. Sanji doesn't even say anything, he just makes onigiri and doesn't look at him. Law tilts his head at the first mate though, interest wafting off him in waves that makes Zoro scowl.

“Dressrosa next then, and after?” Sanji asks Law.

“I don't plan on leaving Dressrosa.” Law says and Zoro watches Sanji stiffen slightly but doesn't stop.

“You better think of a backup plan for if you do.” Is all Sanji says.

“Tch, rich coming from you.” Zoro mutters and Sanji glares at him.

“Get the fuck out my galley and don't come back until dinner.” The cook orders.

“Ain't your ship, Cook.” Zoro mutters and he’s kicked off his chair and then out of the galley. The door is slammed shut and locked as Zoro stares at it.

“Quit pissing him off!” Nami yelled at him.

“What's going on?” Usopp asked.

“Sanji has been different since he came back.” Nami explains as she looks at Zoro. “And he's been pissing him off endlessly.”

“But we all came back different.” Luffy points out.

“Luffy, he's not okay.” Nami points to the galley. “This is the most normal he's been and it's over a warlord who would kill us all if it came to it.”

“Traffy won't do that.” Luffy says focusing on the second half.

“Nami, I assure you Cook-san is doing his best given his circumstances. We're all different now.” Robin assures her.

“I want him to be happy again.” Nami sighs.

“You could show us your panties.” Brook suggests only to be hit with her Climattack staff and fly into the mast. The samurai, the kid with him, and the clown painter watch with wide eyes. Zoro doesn't think about the cook for the rest of the day, even during dinner he drinks more than he thinks. If Sanji isn't happy, why does it matter?

One night before Dressrosa Law and the cook are on deck. Dishes done for the night as Zoro prepares for watch. Everyone is on deck still and Cook and Law are talking in a different language Zoro has only ever heard the cook sing in. It sounds more natural than the Common Blue they all spoke and encountered on the Grand Line and in the New World. It catches Luffy's attention and Zoro watches the captain bound over.

“Traffy, you know the moon song too, right?” Luffy asks eagerly. Law blinks at the man as Cook laughs and says something in the other language. Law nods slowly as a frown forms on his face. “Will you sing with Sanji?”

“I don't sing, Strawhat-ya.” Law glowers at the younger.

“Live a little, Law.” Cook grins and elbows Law in the ribs lightly.

“Now isn't appropriate-” Law starts but is cut off by the cook in the other language. Law sighs and they start singing, albeit Law sings so softly and seems to be hating it, himself, and the cook the whole time. Even when Brook joins in with his violin. Everyone is watching and Law looks ready to throw himself overboard by the end. Everyone claps and cheers and Luffy is the loudest.

The cook says something else to Law before waving and leaving the deck to sleep. The next day when they make landfall Zoro corners the Cook, they're alone. No Law or anyone else around even if they've been practically inseparable.

“When Hawkeye came back from Marineford I heard her scream and cry.” Zoro says and the Cook looks at him with sunken eyes.

“Shitty Moss, leave it.” He says as he goes to leave.

“Does Law know?” Zoro asks and the Cook shrugs before he dodges past to leave. When Zoro rejoins Law tilts his head at him but doesn't say anything. No one does. They say their goodbyes and the Cook is off with the Thousand Sunny.

“Have I upset you, Zoro-ya?” Law asks later before they split to take on the Donquixote family.

“What exactly is your plan with the cook?” He asks.

“There's no plan.” Law answers. “He's your cook.”

“A pretty shit one at that.” Zoro grouses and Law tilts his head.

“He caters to your every need without the expectation of repayment. He doesn't ask for anything or begrudges you in any way. If you were on my crew I would use you as spare parts.” Law says.

“The hell? You barely know the guy!” Zoro yells at him.

“I would argue he's an open book.” Law shrugs. “Blackleg-ya is a far better man to deal with you as much as he does than I.”

“Enough, both of you. Let's go.” Robin interrupts them with a glare at Zoro. Law nods and follows, they all do. At some point the Sunny starts getting attacked so Sanji leaves to protect it. He was part of the ship's protection crew so Zoro doesn't begrudge him much but he still does. It's Chopper who shocks him as he answers the snail transponder call.

“We're leaving! We have to if we don't want Caesar to get caught by Doflamingo and Sanji is too injured to fight right now.” Chopper explains. Right, Zoro has forgotten about the gas clown and he was integral to this whole thing.

“What, Shit-Cook got injured so Law is sending you ahead?” Zoro asks as he looks to the sea with furrowed brows.

“Doflamingo and his strings. They sliced him up pretty good. You guys focus on your parts! We'll meet you at Zou!” Chopper says to them and then the call is over and Zoro growls as he shoves it in his pocket.

Everything that happens, it all goes well. It's going well, all things considered. Even after the cook leaves and fires on Big Mom's ship with permission. The birdcage, Law cutting off his own arm.

They're all alive and sailing to Zou. They're bounties have been raised again and Bartolomeo is crushing hard on all the Strawhats. Their voluntary army that Luffy doesn't care for, doesn't think is necessary really, promises to be with them for anything and everything and Zoro knows that's a good thing.

“I've noticed something weird.” Bartolomeo says to Zoro since Luffy is distracted.

“Huh? What's that?” Zoro asks him.

“Blackleg’s poster says to bring him in alive. Only alive. The rest of you are dead or alive.” Bartolomeo says as he shows Zoro the bounty and even Robin is concerned. Maybe it's to announce an execution like Ace or something, Zoro thinks. No one says anything more about it as they head for the ancient elephant.

Luffy meanwhile doesn't know her, and while he's fine with learning she's a part of the Supernova it does make sense because he never met her, she met Zoro instead

I will say though, now that we got a full look at Jinbe shirtless I'm a bit miffed that he doesn't have a huge scar like Luffy did, he got a through and through magma strike through the shoulder shielding Luffy from Akainu after all. Then again he is also missing his Sun Pirates tattoo

Oda using Jinbe to ask the fans' question about Bonney's crew, turns out she came alone, but the shark ate her ship

She at least has one thing in common with Luffy and that's food, but unlike him she knows where we are

Egghead - the island 500 years in the future, and base of Vegapunk

She's here for Vegapunk too, which probably means she's trying to find a way to bring Kuma's mind back

Speaking of, the giant mecha has picked up the Sunny with the crew in it

Caribou's out of the barrel but KO'd, Usopp and Franky are fanning about the mech

Someone comes out disappointed that the shark bot's primal instincts are overriding its purpose

She is Dr Vegapunk!

Okay. Well, this is curious

I have no qualms with her being a woman - so don't get it twisted - but I feel like I recall Vegapunk being referred to as an old man, the image we had of Vegapunk long ago in Marineford definitely does not match this design. Is there more at play maybe? Could Vegapunk have cloned themselves or made them younger, or simply had children.

Nevertheless this opens the door for a lot to go down, we're moving from old fashioned Wano to super advanced Egghead. As per tradition we've split the crew as well, but it's interesting that Usopp and Franky get to hang around Vegapunk as they're the Straw Hats' key inventors. I worry about Caribou's presence mind you, lot of ways he can slip out. The dynamics of Luffy and Bonney do have great potential too.

Tashigi's presence was a lovely surprise, no Smoker though which is interesting, he might be back in G5 but I kinda hope he is there too, his Luffy senses could be tingling. I feel like Oda might be getting G-17 involved with the crew in a Punk Hazard kinda way, I'm down for more Zoro and Tashigi bicker flirting ngl. Sword's presence may usher more information about their group and clue Luffy in on Coby's situation. Carrot chances are still super slim, theories that she may be hidden inside Caribou is possible but that's the only possibility, soon as that's debunked I think that's it for my slimmest of hopes sadly.

What do we call the arc though? Egghead Island arc doesn't sound as massive as it intends to be, so I would propose calling it the Vegapunk Arc. True it's contrary to the island naming convention but we did have exceptions for Romance Dawn, Arlong Park, and the Reverie.

Regardless this arc bringing in Vegapunk after so long means we are due a lot of answers, not just about the Doctor themselves but about Devil Fruits and all levels of innovation. Answers however that Oda will make us wait an extra week for because he went on break.

Can't blame him though, I'm already whiplashed by these past chapters, we all might need this break more than he does...
