So this weekends been lovely .... I had a busy morning Saturday so here's a lovely picture of my meal I had to eat before actually doing my food shop ! I had my sports massage off the lovely Bev. I can't recommend her enough! Not only is she fab at what she does but she also is such a likeable person too. I treat it like a counselling session too 😂 I moan, I winge, and she listens. She's great! I can't thank her enough for what she's done with my body, helping me to keep it healthy, especially my shoulder. Now I'm no A star pupil as I still need to do my stretching when I finish weights but I'm getting there 😂 Today's post is about being grateful. I moan A LOT.... I'm starving, I'm fat, I've not lost enough weight, I have no clothes that fit me. Let's just stop and rewind... I've got food in the cupboards, people in third world countries are starving not you Kate! I've lost 3.5 stones, get a grip! And you have a wardrobe full of clothes! Being grateful helps shape the person you are, not always weight related, sometimes it can be the fact that your grateful to have good friends, or that your grateful to have a nice home, nice family, nice things in life. It could also be that your grateful for your health. We all have our moans and our cries but let's be honest, how bad are they really? Are they worth getting so upset over? I'm not saying don't be angry or upset, I'm just saying be grateful. Try to look on the positive of life. I'm tired... Yes you are but you've done loads today and achieved so much. I'm hungry .... No you're bored, do something before your next meal. I've no clothes.... Find some that look nice. Always look after those who surround you with love and positive energy. No one deserves to be unhappy. Embrace the positivity 😬🙌🏻👏🏻 Lots of love Happy & grateful Katie X

The Game of LIFE

So I just played LIFE with my younger sister and her friends (yeah, I know), and I actually think I learned something from it. See, I started out going to college and ended up with a Ph. D. in a high-paying career (that I could've changed for something more my style) and then, after lots of luck, I ended up as a millionaire. I wasn’t married and didn’t have kids, so I moved on to the “Live It” section where all the travel and fun stuff is involved. I played it safe, but it seemed like I would win the game because I was so rich. However, when everything was said and done, I ended up losing, to my sister, no less. Sure, she started off buying a house and starting a family while living in debt, but somehow, she won (with the help of a shoe endorsement that got her $800,000). But I think I learned that you shouldn’t wait until you have a ton of money to go out and live life, because it might not happen. I mean, it’s a game of pure chance! That’s not to say you should live beyond your means, but rather you can start living now, start racking up those Life Points, because when the game’s, that’s really all that matters.

You compare, judge, criticize, evaluate and compete with others on the most shallow levels and never take a hard look into your Deeper Self, your potential and your own negative thoughts and actions. Feeling truly blessed that I got to spend some quality time with my brother @dethviolin and be titi Jess to my favorite 3 year old girl while hearing the latest progress on his new #violinconcerto I am astounded by how much his work has grown and changed over the past few months and that he trusts me enough to let me listen to it.
