whenever i've imagined the upcoming bucktommy kiss (which is a lot) where buck initiates the kiss at the wedding once tommy saves chim, i imagine buck runs up to tommy and immediately kisses him in front of everyone. which is great and all, but now i think it'd be great if it starts with a simple hug first. like there's a slowmo scene of tommy getting off the plane, looking around for someone he knows, and then buck yells his name and sprints over, we hear tommy let out a soft "evan" before he's stumbling at the force of buck's body colliding with his as he hugs him so tightly. and as buck holds him, there's a few reaction shots. bobby has a slightly raised eyebrow, wondering when they got so close, athena looks a lil confused but happy nonetheless, hen and karen share a look, maybe we see buck's parents share one too (but less knowing/sweet and more worried), and eddie smiles a lil. let's out a sigh of relief because tommy is his friend too and he's glad he's safe. and THEN buck kisses tommy. and oh my god we get to see everyone's face switch immediately. the shock and the confusion and the pride. oh it'd just be so beautiful.

(Hen, Chimney and Ravi all rush into Cap's office while he's at his desk, and shut the door) Bobby:...Problem? Chimney: So, we originally thought the whole 'Eddie being jealous of Buck and Tommy'-thing was gonna be funny. Hen: And adorable. Ravi: And it was! Hen: For a while. Bobby: But now... Chimney: - But now it's TERRIFYING, Cap! We're afraid for our lives! Ravi: I made it through juvenile leukemia, Cap. But I don't think I can survive this one. Chimney(goes to hold Ravi):...Think of the young one, Cap! Please, HE'S JUST A BOY! Bobby(sighs):...Alright, go tell Eddie to come in here. Hen:...Do we have to be in here when he's in here? Bobby: No, you do not. (relieved, the other three all rush out of the office)

So I just watched 9-1-1 1x01 again, and...
This is Bobby and Athena the first time they're seen together on screen.
Tumblr media
Athena is pissed because Buck refuses to let a kid on the same ambulance as her newborn because she threw him down the toilet. And Bobby is upset because he sent Buck ahead so he could get the newborn to the ambulance quicker and he comes down and finds out they're still there. So basically, the first time we see them, Athena is trying to save someone and Bobby is worried because that baby needs a hospital and the ambulance is just sitting there.
So he takes it into his own hands. He ignores Athena and Buck screaming at each other and just picks the girl up and carries her into the ambulance.
And then this happens:
Tumblr media
FIRST TIME we see them on screen. Literally the first time they partake on the same scene. And don't forget, tensions are running high. Like, up until this point? They've only heard each other shout. Not a each other, but still.
Like, it's such a tiny detail, not many people are going to pick up on it, but I find it so cool and endearing. Here you have a character that we know it's closed off to people and who probably has something heavy in his past being supported by a character who (by what we've seen up to now) is assertive and empowering.
I'm not going to say foreshadowing or anything, because anything is possible. But what an acting choice. Kudos to Angela Bassett.

SO. i was able to figure out the general structure of the script JLH leaked.
[explanation under the cut]
Tumblr media
in order for all this to make sense, the first thing you need to know is that in north america all screenplays (scripts) are written in the same format
knowing this, we can deduce the general structure of the scene and even the length of some of the words
first we need to address the big question everyone's been asking:
are they talking about Bobby or Eddie?
screenplays are always typed in courier font, and in courier the capital letters B and E are identical at their left sides.
so while i enjoy people trying to figure out if the blurry letter in line 24 is a B or an E, the answer is it could honestly be either
Tumblr media
where we really need to look is line one. the screengrab is blurry so i've outlined the word "going" and circled the area we should pay attention to
Tumblr media
at first, the last letter of the prior word looks like an undistinguishable blob, but there is actually one key thing we can discern from it: the letter can't be y, it doesn't hang low enough
there is a chance that the word is not a name and is "he" which would not rule out Bobby or Eddie. however, that would mean the conversation goes on for at least 14 lines without mentioning "him" by name which is (heavily) frowned against in screenwriting. so chances are they're talking about Eddie
also, with what we know about the characters it's most likely Eddie. can you really see Bobby not talking to Buck because of... well, anything? and we already know that Eddie has a difficult time communicating. so i've decided to go with him for this script but haven't 100 per cent ruled Bobby out
moving on to the actual script itself, anything not highlighted in red is something i'm confident is either the exact wording or something similar. the red sections are the parts that i'm less confident in or know are incorrect somehow
Maddie's first dialogue block is the part i had the most trouble with. with context from the following conversation i figured that she probably asked something along the lines of when [Eddie] will be back at work. the main issue with this section is that the top line is actually six letters shorter than what i have written. this also means that the word that follows "going" has to be at least eight letters long. i tried messing around with the dialogue a bit but couldn't come up with something that would fit the appropriate letter count so for now i just wrote a line similar to what i think the actual line probably is
line six has to be either 12 or 13 spaces long and the first word has to be at least four letters long so i used "really soon" as a place holder, but i'm not completely confident in it
for line eight i initially had "Oh, that's good." but the line was one space short so i changed the "Oh" to "Hey" instead. i don't feel too poorly about this one but it still doesn't feel right to me. if the actual script says "Hey" i wouldn't be surprised if JLH changes it to something else or forgoes the exclamation completely
the final line is just a rough guess of what it could be. i'm not sure how formal the 911 writers are with action lines so i just took a random guess. some writers are extremely formal with action lines while others are more comedic with it (Neil Gaiman is a great example of this). i'm guessing the 911 writers are more the former but i honestly have no clue

The Husbandification of Evan Buckley - Part 1
- 1678 words-
---
5 times they were called husbands, 1 time they were husbands.
---
Eddie Diaz is an intelligent man. A bit slow, sometimes, when it comes to feelings, but he did spend his whole life, until very recently, repressing those troublesome feelings so he gets a pass on this one. Evan Buckley is also an intelligent man. However, Buck prefers to experience his feelings as quickly as possible; imagine a golden retriever on a skateboard hurtling towards heartbreak.
Neither of these men are stupid, but they are a bit dumb, sometimes.
1. Isabel “Abuela” Diaz
Isabel Diaz is very proud of her favorite grandson, for many reasons. When Eddie moved to Los Angeles with Christopher, she was worried as any grandparent would be, but it did not stop her pride from growing.
Many things happened between then and now, and Isabel has never been prouder of her Edmundo, even if she wasn’t invited to his and Buck’s wedding. She understands, of course, but it would have been nice to know about it.
A truck pulls into the driveway and the dulcet tones of an 11-year-old, and a set of crutches meet Isabel at the door.
She opens the door to the smiling face of Christopher Diaz, who is too adorable for his own good, and he knows it.
“Good morning, Bisabuela,” Christopher greets as Isabel hugs him. The reminder that she is a great-grandmother is already forgiven and forgotten by the time Eddie makes his way to the front door.
“Morning, Abuela,” says Eddie as he kisses his grandmother’s cheek. He looks exhausted, but 24 hours of firefighting would do that, Isabel supposes.
After situating Christopher with his homework at Isabel’s dining table, Eddie prepares to leave to get some sleep. He has registered very few words, if any, this morning but he registers a real gem from his Abuela.
“You should bring your husband with you when you pick Christopher up. I want to show him how to make pozole,” Abuela states, as if that is a completely normal sentence. Eddie thought he had been careful in not making his relationship with Buck obvious, but Abuela knows, apparently.
Another detail clicks for Eddie.
“The same pozole recipe you refuse to give to my mother?” Eddie questions. Isabel lifts her chin to look at her grandson and raises her brow, in challenge.
“Your husband can cook. Your mother cannot,” Isabel reasons. The use of the word ‘husband’ finally registers with Eddie, so now he has to deal with that.
“Buck and I aren’t married, Abuela,” Eddie sighs.
“Oh? Then how did you know I was talking about your Buck when I didn’t say his name, hm? Don’t lie to me again, or I’ll tell your husband,” Isabel challenges.
As said before, Eddie is an intelligent man, and he knows when he has lost. Eddie hugs his Abuela and makes an exit before he digs himself into a bigger hole.
2. Tyler-Kennedy “TK” Strand
So maybe TK made some assumptions. Some very wrong assumptions. In TK’s defense, he wasn’t aware of the context.
The context being that Buck was obviously married to Eddie and, based on the sight of a pair of red Converse sneakers much too small for either of them on the floor in Buck’s Jeep, they had a kid, too. Buck was, definitely, not hitting on him in Texas. TK has decided to leave the detective work to his fiancé.
Oh, yes. Haven’t you heard? One wedding, coming right up. That is partly why Carlos and TK are in LA, to begin with. Other than to catch up with the wildfire squad, obviously.
Their first stop was always going to be Station 118 for a reunion, meeting some new faces and sharing their engagement. What they didn’t expect was a child, looking a lot like Eddie, to also be there.
Well, one mystery is solved then, even if TK is still very much confused.
“Buck!”, the kid calls, happily, from a couch to the right of the stairs, a pair of red crutches next to him.
“Christopher!”, Buck responds and takes the last three stairs in one bound to hurry over. “These are my friends from Texas, TK and Carlos,” Buck introduces from where he is now seated next to Christopher. Christopher uses this opportunity to do some of his own detective work.
“Are you married?” Christopher asks.
“Not yet,” Carlos avoids.
“So, you’re engaged?” Christopher pushes lightly, in a way only children can.
“Buckley, how is your kid so smart?” TK redirects. Buck grins widely while looking at Christopher.
“That’s all Eddie, playing Clue against them is a nightmare,” Buck says, mock-exhaustively.
“I can imagine. Where is your husband, by the way? Is he on shift today?” TK asks. Buck blinks for a second before preparing to respond. He is interrupted by the return of Truck and Ambulance 118 and an enthusiastic reunion.
3. Judson “Judd” Ryder
Judd is on the brink of insanity. He loves TK like a brother but, by God, if he must spend one more minute on Google trying to find this one specific brand of wine, that is only bottled and sold in Los Angeles, for his and Carlos’ wedding, Judd’s brain will stop responding.
Judd does something he probably should have started with. He calls Hollywood.
Eddie answers his call with a slightly confused greeting. Judd understands the feeling.
“Hey, Diaz. I need to talk to your husband.” Judd is beyond politeness, at this point, but its Diaz, so he’s not worried.
“He’s not my husband, Judd,” Eddie says, purposefully leaving out an acknowledgement of the engagement ring on his finger.
“And whose fault is that, Hollywood? Not mine, that’s for sure. Now pass the phone one foot to your left, I know he’s standing there,” Judd accuses.
Eddie decides Judd doesn’t need to know he was right.
“It’s for you,” Eddie hands his phone to Buck. For the record, Buck was standing in front of him.
4. Adriana & Sophia Diaz
It is a sister’s civic duty to bully her brother. Especially when one of your sisters is just minding her business on Instagram and her brother posts a story. To be honest, Sophia didn’t even think Eddie knew how to do that.
Her assumption was confirmed just as quickly as it was challenged when the story turned out to be a photo of her brother sleeping. The photo itself is not particularly interesting, if not for the gold ring on Eddie’s finger.
Sophia likes to think she knows her brother well, and part of knowing her brother is knowing that he has only ever worn two pieces of jewellery; his silver wedding ring and the St. Christopher’s medal around his neck.
Sophia has decided to take this opportunity to collect reinforcements (read also: Adriana) and ambush her brother over Facetime. What else are sisters for?
“Um, hi,” answered a familiar face, but still not Eddie. Huh, funny. Sophia was pretty sure she called Eddie’s phone.
“Hello, Buck. What a coincidence, we had a question you can help us with actually,” Sophia began. Buck looked confused but Sophia knows it’s a sham.
“Yeah, what’s up with the ring on Eddie’s finger?” Adriana asks, with determination. Buck’s wide eyes and slightly open mouth are very quickly replaced with Eddie’s ‘It’s none of your business’ face.
“What do you want? Did you run out of gossip in all of Texas?” asked Eddie fondly, but exasperated. To be fair, he probably should have expected this at some point.
“Hey, Eddie. We were just calling to find out who put that ring on your finger, but your husband already answered that,” Sophia explained brightly. Eddie rolls his eyes, but his protest ended there.
“The invitations are in the mail; we’ll see you out here in April,” Eddie says before hanging up.
Adriana & Sophia: 159
Eddie: 0 1
5. Robert “Bobby” Nash
For a long time, Bobby thought he would never see the weddings of his children. What he failed to consider was the adoptability of one (1) Evan Buckley.
And so, here Bobby stands in the doorway of his office, trying not to cry. The firehouse is ready for a wedding and Buck needs help with his tie. At least this part is familiar.
“Need a hand?” Bobby offers. Buck turns around quickly, as if he had forgotten he wasn’t alone and smiles appreciatively at Bobby. “Maddie said you needed some help, and she was a little busy wrangling Jee-Yun into some shoes,” he clarifies. A familiar scene plays out then; Bobby standing behind Buck to fix his tie, and Buck realizing again that real family are the ones that would help you with a tie (or throwing a wedding in a firehouse).
“There we go. Perfect. Are you ready to see your husband?” Bobby asks as he finishes with Buck’s tie. Buck rolls his eyes, as if he hates the ‘dad-ness’ of the question.
“He’s not my husband yet,” Buck replies.
“As soon as you walk out that door and turn left, we can fix that,” Bobby counters.
+ 1
“9-1-1. What is your emergency?”
“Hi, yeah, I think I’m in labor?”
-
The 118 arrive to a small suburban duplex to find a very pregnant woman pacing the sidewalk. It takes some convincing before she agrees to stop pacing, then some more convincing to sit down. Hen and Chimney decide it would be best to transport her to the hospital, just to be safe. In this time, Buck and Eddie have readied the gurney when the woman notices their uniforms. More specifically, their surname patches, both reading “DIAZ”.
“You don’t really look like a ‘Diaz’,” she wonders aloud at Buck. Buck doesn’t take offense at this, the woman is in labor, above all, and he looks like he could become invisible in a snowstorm, he gets it.
“That would be because I took my husband’s last name,” Buck explained, gesturing vaguely at Eddie, both smiling gently. Her gaze shifts to Eddie, then she turns her attention back to Buck.
“Damn, that’s your husband?” she asks Buck, looking impressed when she receives a nod. “Is he single?”

This Grandpa Bobby is unrelated to ‘Step by Step’ but thanks to a video I couldn’t get the thought out of my head, ft GiGi Athena and the fire fam kids
-for the sake of the story everyone just goes with the fact that they’re family, the kids are cousins no questions asked
-all the boys go to the same school (this may come into play later for a different story)
———————————————————————————-
Pumpkin Pancakes and Grandparent Sleepovers:
Bobby cracked open the door to Harry’s room noticing that all three of the older boys were sprawled out: Denny being half on the air mattress, half off and Harry’s hand somehow draped across Christopher’s face. He chuckled to himself before pulling the door closed, he had heard the tv still going around two am. Bobby doesn’t expect to see them for at least another hour.
He continued down the hall to what had been May’s room. Opening the door he was greeted with a smile out of the crib that sat in the corner, “good morning Jee, how my girl?”
“Pa,” her little voice whispered as she reached her arms up towards him.
After a quick change, Bobby moved into the kitchen. It was Saturday morning and he and Athena were on kid duty all weekend.
“What you thinking for breakfast, huh kid?”
The only response he got was the one year old snuggling deeper into his chest. Apparently this morning he was cooking one handed.
Kissing the top of her head, he pulled out ingredients for his pumpkin pancakes. It would pair with the fall morning outside and bonus points that it was Athena’s favorite.
He was caught up in the moment and swaying softly to the music coming from the record player in the corner, his arms still full of Jee, he missed Athena leaned against the counter.
He startled slightly when he turned around to see her there, “good morning darling,”
He walked around to give her a kiss before dropping the egg shells in the trash can.
“Want me to take her?”
“Nah, I’ve got it.” The sergeant smiled knowing how much her captain loved his kids.
“The boys are still sleeping, but I would expect them up once the bacon finishes cooking.” He said as he turned back towards the stove. Christopher Diaz could smell bacon from a mile away.
Athena enjoyed the view for a few more minutes before she got up to join her husband in moving around the kitchen. She poured a cup of coffee before moving to place it on the table, then returning for plates.
She smiled to herself as she heard the bedroom door open and looked up to meet the eyes of three very tired looking pre teen boys.
“Good morning my boys.”
She was met with grumbled responses as they fell into their chairs at the kitchen table.
She returned to her husbands side this time reaching for the toddler without asking. He willingly gave her up, and stretched his arms as he flipped the final pancake. He may feel it tomorrow but he would never tire of the snuggles.
He placed the pancakes, bacon, and fruit on the table and smiled as all three boys immediately perked up, “boys can you grab cups and the juice out of the fridge please?”
“I got the juice grandpa,” Denny said as he got up from the table
“I’ll get the cups,” Harry said before following his cousin.
Christopher followed before adding Jee’s sippy cup to her high chair positioned beside Athena.
“Captain did you make these pancakes just for me?” Athena asked as they passed the plates around the table.
“It may have been a determining factor,” he smiled a knowing smile in her direction
“Thanks for the bacon grandpa” Christopher added with his mouth full.
“What kind of grandpa would be if I didn’t know my kids favorite breakfast foods?” He smirked at them as he watched Denny dig into the fruit bowl in search of the kiwi Bobby had sliced up last night, and Harry with his own mouth full pancake because he was his momma son.
“So what’s on the agenda today kids?” Athena asked as she sipped her coffee
The boys all locked eyes with wide grins on their faces, “can we go to the zoo?” Harry asked for the group before Chris cut in
“They have new sea lions!”
Of course Denny followed in their rehearsed plea, “we’ve been learning about them in school Gigi!” Adding a little flair trying to rope in Athena.
The adults locked eyes before Bobby turned to Jee-Yun, “what do you think Jee?”
“Pa, zoo!” She smiled back as she smashed the blueberries Athena had put on her tray.
He locked eyes with his wife before returning his gaze to the boys, “Finish your breakfast and go get dressed.”
There was small chirps of excitement from the group before the boys started spouting animal facts at each other, no doubt most of which had come from Buck.
Bobby smiled again to himself as he bit into his own pancakes. How did he get so lucky?

!!SPOILERS FOR 9-1-1 SEASON 6 FINALE!!
Ok I think I've only ever retweeted about 9-1-1 but I have a few thoughts on the finale that I really wanna share. But - and I cannot emphasize this enough - I am in no way hating on the actors, crew or writers of 9-1-1. These are just my personal Amateur thoughts.
First and foremost I would like to say that I didn't hate the finale. There were several things that I really liked about it but I just have a few critics for the finale and the whole season 6B in general.
However, I want to give a balanced opinion so I will start with things I actually liked about it. So here are things I liked about the 9-1-1 finale 6x18 pay it forward:
• The football/soccer kid
Look I have really bad facial recognition, so initially I thought the guy paying for the football's team food was just a cute and sweet scene they added. So when the flashbacks happened, I thought it was such a nice callback to the season 2 earthquake. his character in general was just a good representation of the theme of the episode AND it was long enough ago to be a really nice scene for fans.
• Kameron, Connor, Buck and the baby
I'm really glad they didn't make the baby end up with Buck one way or the other. Buck being able to not just spend time with Kameron While she's pregnant but also delivering the baby yet still being able to give him up really showed his growth. Even though he teared up at having to give him up, he still did.
I think him delivering the baby was also a nice callback to the very first episode of the show and his very first emergency on screen which was him saving the baby. For what they had expected to be a series finale, it was a good callback and full circle ending.
•Buck's maturity
I also liked that this episode showed a lot of scenes where Buck is mature; i.e him trying to reason with Kameron and Connor to fix their marriage problems, his professionalism in delivering the baby (having learnt from the season 1 Full moon episode) and even how he responded in the bridge emergency.
Buck was really mature in this episode which is something reliving to see. This is especially due to majority of this show painting Buck as immature and impulsive. This show has a problem with consistently showing Buck's smartness and maturity. So, It's nice to see some growth even if it was just in the finale.
•Lucy
Ok I don't like Lucy, I'm sorry but I just don't. BUT I did like her role in the episode. As well as him congratulating Chim for his engagement. Her being the one to say 'Mayday, Mayday' was very reminiscent of the season 5 dispatch fire. Since, it is a finale, I really loved all the callbacks/potential callbacks they had.
•Buck, Eddie and dragging
Ok I just thought it was such a nice parallel to have Buck have to save Eddie by dragging him. It was a direct parallel to Buck having to drag Eddie under the ambulance which was SO GOOD.
•Marisol
Ok before anyone hates me I sort of already knew they wouldn't make Buddie canon. And while I really don't see the chemistry between Marisol and Eddie AT LEAST he has a new fresh love story where the girl and him are both really cute towards each other. Even though I think it'd be better to just leave him single, Marisol and him being sort of cute is a silver lining.
•Bobby and Athena
I'm not even going to elaborate on this other than THEY GOT THEIR CRUISE
Ok I think that's enough compliments. Let's get into the things that I believe could have been done better:
•Natalia
No. Just no. The whole beginning of the season set Buck up to be ok with being single just to take that away at the ending.
ALSO the fact that there are so many parallels between his story with Taylor and his story with Natalia, down to the couch, is just a hard NO.
She and Buck have no chemistry. She's pretty but she should've just left and not came back.
Buck should've been single at the end just to show that he really can be okay just being himself and he's accepted that he can find happiness by himself and knows that he is enough now. It would be so much more meaningful than this rushed love plot.
•Eddie and death
Ok in Death and Taxes Eddie talks about dying alone and it just NEVER GETS RESOLVED. They never talk about it again. Instead they rush him into this search for love like that'd fix anything. Buck and him should've just been single. Buck accepting he's enough and Eddie accepting he's fine dying alone as long as he could live every day to the fullest.
•Eddie and love
That man really threw Bobby's advice (and his own) out the window huh. First, he said himself it was a bad idea to date a person you saved to Buck in death and taxes, yet guess what he does at the end of the season. Second, Bobby told him not to look for it yet he WAS looking for it when he met Marisol again. Third, there was absolutely no chemistry or build-up between the two. They just saw each other and fell in love i guess.
I'm not a hardcore Buddie shipper but truly Buck is the ONLY person I would expect him to end up with. The parallels between things that have happened between Bathena and Buddie is just proof enough. Even moreso the talk at the grave at the end of Death and taxes.
•The symbolisms
WHAT WAS THE REASON. WHAT WAS THE REASON. What was the point of the couch theory, the blue-green couples, the red-blue just for it to amount to nothing. Even if you didn't want them to end up together, they could have still had the last ending scene be of them as a family together (Chris, Buck, Eddie).
Whether you believe they were queerbaiting or not, they were definitely baiting something with all the symbolisms surrounding Buck and Eddie.
•The lack of continuity
I feel like the issues present in the first half of season 6B (till like death and taxes) were never resolved. What happened to eddie and dying alone? What about Buck and not being able to fully process his death?
I get wanting a feel good ending but at least tie up loose ends. The finale could've been just as good without the unnecessary sudden add-on like Natalia and Marisol. I liked Kameron and Connor coming back but the rest felt like it came out of nowhere.
I wouldn't have minded a longer finale or just a finale that didn't include the unnecessary stuff. They could have had the Madney engagement but still address the issues they started the season with.
•The Pay It Forward part
This could be an entirely biased take but personally I think there could have been more of the 'Pay it forward' theme. The team could have been more critically injured causing Buck to have to take the role of actual interim captain. It could have been him repaying them for when they put their everything inti saving him. While he did have to do more, it didn't feel enough. The emergency itself felt like it was resolved too quickly and was rushed. Again, I think it would've been more impactful to have a longer, well-written finale ESPECIALLY if they were wrote it believing that it'd be a series finale. That said I am absolutely not telling writers how to do their job, they're the professionals here.
•Buck
Yes he gets his own point sorry not sorry. His arc felt incomplete. It really felt like they were leading up to a breakdown or a realisation of some sort yet nothing. They just wrap up his story with a new love interest and call it a day.
Like why not make him single at the end as a callback to the first episode of season 6 - he started alone and he's perfectly happy ending it alone.
Why not include a breakdown - everyone around him keeps reminding him he died and he keeps getting bothered by it. He doesn't even seem to fully process the impact of his own death. Let him feel his death instead of just forget about it and move on to the next girl.
Why not let him be interim captain for the bridge emergency? Let it be a parallel to when he wasn't ready and now where he is. He's had enough life experience and now he knows what to do. He can do it by himself.
Why not end it with him, chris and Eddie on Eddie's couch? Let it be a wrap up to the couch theory. Their family whether Buck and Eddie are romantically involved or not. Chris is his kid and that's all that matters. It would've been a nice transition of him looking at Chris fondly after having to give away what is biologically his child. He is content with living life how it is. He has found the meaning of happiness. He is fine.
Last mini point cause I totally could be wrong here but I swear they didn't ever introduce the kids that Hen and Karen were fostering (now possibly adopting) till the last episode. Tell me if I'm wrong.
TL;DR While I enjoyed the finale, it felt like it was rushed and a lot of things were left unfinished. A lot of problems were still unresolved at the end. It's a feel good ending but with a lot of missing plot points and red herrings throughout the season. That said this is just my personal amateur opinion and no one should take it to heart. It was still a good ending just not what I expected. Hopefully abc will tie up the loose ends and maybe give us a satisfactory conclusion to this really good show.

Excerpt from Episode 1: Island of Misfit Toys
Bobby sits at the closest table to the edge, a heavy stack of forms before him. From the loft, up close to the vaulted ceiling, he can watch the others working, small shapes, quiet voices and squeaking boots. Bobby glances down off the railing, his shadow vague beneath him on the polished cement flooring. He opens his black notebook. Thirty six names so far. He thumbs through the lined pages, only six of them filled. The other pages are white and clear, carefully numbered along the edges all the way to one hundred and forty eight.
