it’s incredibly sweet and mind boggling how joe hills and oli theorionsound seemingly met by fated chance and coincidental accident because of the hermitcraft x empires planned crossover, of joe hills spawning and ending close to where oli was coming from on empires season 2, of after the hermits getting back home after being trapped on empires — bringing the empires season 2 cast over via the opened rift, of oli on hermitcraft/streaming it on twitch getting himself accidentally killed in situations and needing anyone free online to help. that being joe, who kept helping and coming to oli when he got himself into situations and trying to keep him alive. and them outweirding and being funny chaotic guys and because oli was playing a bard on empires and is a guy who goes into song whenever irl when he wants, just them connecting and building a unlikely but extremely works well friendship for the while. and coming to the now, august of year 2023, of empires s2 being done, the rift in grians basement being closed to the multiverse of empires s2 before s2 was finished, joe hills a couple days ago on youtube stream minecraft chat messaging cubfan saying he misses oli - his bard, who he knows is in pirates smp now currently, and wants him back and how cub whose been stealing things for the museum should take a piece of the rift or somehow turn it on to work to bring oli back. also oli on twitter replying to joe hill’s tweet progress of his pinball machine he’s making on hermitcraft and wanting to play it. pls. get oli back on hermitcraft, somehow multidimensionally pull him back on, he wants to be on, joe hills misses him, please.

Hermitcraft is in a timeloop. It isn't obvious because of the major differences between the loops.

Geminitay. She is one of the only people who knows.

Xisumavoid and Evil Xisuma are trying to figure out how this happened. Every time a new member joins the server, their memories get wiped, all they know is enough to not have it be obvious that anything is missing. The closest person they got to remembering was Grian, it's unclear if he remembers the attempts. But the way he looks at them... It's strange. Nobody should come close to remembering, unless they were an admin. Or a special case, such as Gem. Then the rift appeared, and everything went to shit.

The Voices have been... not quite Silent, lately, but quieter, more dormant.

There's not much to Talk about, or rather someone to Talk to, ever since Their Champion retired. The Voices have been... aimless, sort of drifting along, reminiscing on the good old days of blood and war, of the thrilling chase of adrenaline and victory from the Champion They had been cheering on for so long. 

But the Champion had retired, moved on to a more peaceful life, and the Voices will Grant him Rest.

Even so, the Voices are looking for excitement, hopping from server to server, kingdom to kingdom, empire to empire, searching for a resemblance to those good old days of glory and-

IM AM SO MAD THAT TUMBLR ERASED MY FIRST VERSION OF THIS. WHY. Time to rewrite 30 minutes of editing.

Frustration aside, here’s some notes for a fun “villain” Tango and hero Jimmy friendship story! Features Rancher Duo, misunderstood dungeon master Tango, unwilling hero Jimmy, ravagers, wardens, and adventures, oh my!

(I put most of it below a cut because I wrote a lot lol have fun!!)

Jimmy is the prophesied Hero and member of the legendary Minecraft Adventuring Guild (MCAG), whos party has abandoned him due to his clumsiness to “protect” him, leaving him at home with a sense of betrayal and some very reckless ideas.

Tango is the mighty villain and ruler of Deep Frost Citadel, menace to all who live… yeah except he’s not. Tango actually runs a Ravager and Warden sanctuary, where he rescues abused ravagers from pillagers and maintains a healthy skulk network for his Wardens.

Jimmy marches into DFC and finds Tango with no intent to harm him (he was prophesied to defeat Tango and was kinda forced into it by his village and adventuring guild) and is like “I’m here to negotiate. Stop terrorizing people. Also please don’t murder me” and Tango instead is like “actually we don’t do that here. You seem kinda lonely and bored, how would you like a job?” (And a boyfriend and/or beloved friend cough cough-)

Jimmy and Tango run Deep Frost Citadel and Decked Out (the sanctuary/dungeon run) for a couple months together when finally Tango senses the heroes’ party approaching and decides to absolutely Clown On Them.

So they enter and are like “We’ve come to end your evil deeds once and for all!” And Jimmy enters the room like “Babe, Janet just gave birth to two absolutely amazing, healthy baby ravagers and ohmigosh they’re so cute you gotta come see them- oh hey guys!”

Cue absolutely flabbergasted stammering and indigent arm/hand motions until Tango and Jimmy just break down laughing.

-More Pieces/Story elements/headcanons-

-Tango can sense when someone is approaching Deep Frost Citadel with the intent to harm

-he usually attempts to ward them off with snowstorms and negotiation, but very very rarely is forced to kill intruders to defend himself and his assistants. He mourns every death and always returns them to the nearest settlement

-Tango has run Decked Out for years, a dungeon run that’s healthy for the ravagers and the Wardens and allows people to gamble for treasures with only risk of minor harm (they can enderport out at any time)

-Most people nowadays believe Decked Out is actually a villainous scheme to provide raids with ravagers and create an army to destroy the world with Wardens and ravagers.

-Jimmy’s old party consists of Grian, Lizzie, Joel, Scott, Pearl, Gem, Sausage, Fwhip, and Scar (who is now the clumsiest but still skilled with the bow). He loves them dearly but hates how they underestimate him. He’s not very good at swordplay or archery but he’s charismatic and funny and people like him.

-Jimmy could never hate his old party but it took him a while to stop being bitter

-Jimmy is the son of the town fisherwoman, and he loves fishing and swimming. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to continue his hobby while out training to fight

-Jimmy and Tango both know MCSL (Minecraft sign language lol). Everyone in DFC has to know it because of the Wardens, but Jimmy learned from the children of his village because he wanted to be able to talk to lots of different people

-the MCAG is a large and extremely famous adventuring guild that consists of many inner-guilds and parties, including the popular Hermits, Empires, and DreamSMP (Dream’s Survival-Magic Parties)

-Captain Sparklez leads the MCAG because of course he does.

-Jimmy’s old party is unusual because it consists of Empires members and Hermits. But his party was also a “temporary” party that was only supposed to last until Tango was defeated

-the question that remains after all of this is… what now?

Just After Sundown: a Bird Of Prey spinoff

Hello :) just one of many spinoffs inspired by @roxie-roo 's Double Life au, Bird of Prey! Hope you like this one bestie :D

It had been a long day. Bordering on near endless.

To say Tango was exhausted would be the understatement of the year. As he stretched at the foot of his bed he felt like he could sleep for a hundred years once his head hit his pillows.

He lifted the hat Shelby had gifted him off his head and placed it gingerly on the little bedside table placed next to his bed. The hat comically engulfed the table, and Tango tiredly chuckled at it.

The ladder creaks with the weight of someone climbing up. Tango doesn't need to turn around to know who it is.

"You getting settled alright?" Jimmy asks once up through the floor.

Tango hums, "Yup. The place is cozy, thank you for letting me stay."

"I built it just for you, Tangs. Of course you get to stay here." Jimmy sits at the end of the little bed and shucks his dusty boots off.

Tango sits next to Jimmy, resting his cheek on Jimmy's shoulder blade. There's... a distinct lack of two extra limbs under the leather of his vest and cotton of his shirt.

Tango's a little confused at the discovery. Sure, when he hadn't seen them at first he assumed Jimmy was hiding them under his clothing. Bound together and held flat down. That thought made Tango's skin crawl.

But now that he could feel there was nothing else there? It confused him. Almost worried him.

"Sorry, sunshine, could you sit up for a second?" Jimmy spoke gently.

Tango grunts but sits up, watching as Jimmy shrugs off his leather vest.

"What happened to your wings?" Tango asks. He notes how Jimmy freezes up and he panics that maybe he said something he shouldn't have.

"Oh crap, I'm sorry if that's sensitive." He rushes to fill in. "It's just- ya know you don't just go around losing limbs every day." The laugh carrying his words was nervous and forced. Jimmy's demeanor doesn't change.

Tango swallows thickly.

When Jimmy does move again he's silent, and unbuttoning his cotton shirt.

"When Double Life ended," Jimmy starts lowly. "I wound up in the void. I uh.. met a few friends there."

Tango nods. But... friends? In the void? You don't find other people in the void. If you did then... then Tango could've found Jimmy. But he didn't because you're alone in the void. Right?

Jimmy takes in a breath. His shirt hangs loosely at his shoulders.

"I thought I'd be free, finally. And well... I mean I technically am but- Heh, you know most things come with a price."

White fabric falls. It takes Tango's tired brain a moment to process what exactly he's seeing but when everything clicks, oh boy does it ring loud and clear.

Two scars run parallel down Jimmy's back. They start just above his shoulder blades and reach to the middle of his ribcage. Something rightly disgusted churns in Tango's gut.

"I think it's punishment. It has to be, right?" Jimmy turns to look at Tango over his shoulder. Tango doesn't know what to do, or say.

"When you break such a rigidly set status quo, destroy your fate like that? There's going to be harsh consequences." Jimmy's back muscles flex like the wings were still there and he was fluffing them up.

"I'm sorry." Tango whispers. He reaches up and presses a gentle hand to one scar. Jimmy shivers, goosebumps appearing over his skin.

"S' not your fault, honey." Jimmy assures. And sure, it isn't. Tango knows it isn't his fault, or his doing, but still.

"You still shouldn't have lost your wings."

Jimmy laughs wetly. "I'm not a canary anymore though, am I? What non-canary needs wings."

Tango loops his arms around Jimmy's torso, resting his face between the scars. "Doesn't matter. You lost a part of you."

It gets quiet after that. Tango would say he almost fell asleep like that, but his mind was too full. He was buzzing with questions, and it felt like a dick move to fall asleep when your soulmate just shared something so world shattering with you.

"...Did it hurt?"

Jimmy barks a bitter laugh.

Did it hurt? Like Hell it did. He still remembers leaving the void, beginning the journey to Empires, when something grabs him.

He's terrified. So so scared and alone at the halfway point between servers. He's held as something digs into the flesh on his back, searing pain shoots through his whole body as his wings are stripped from him.

He remembers waking up crying, in Tumble Town. His back still aching like everything was still happening. It hurt for days afterwards, no matter how many potions he drank or gapples he chugged.

"So much.." Jimmy settles on. He can feel Tango making a face on his skin.

"I'll kill whoever did this to you. Say the word and I swear I'll do it." Tango hugs his soulmate tighter. Something protective boils in his chest, ready to spill over.

Jimmy just placed a calloused hand over Tango's. "I know you will. I know you will."

Tango growls under his breath, being cut off by a yawn.

"I'm so tired." Tango mumbles. "Server hopping takes a lot out of you."

When Jimmy giggles it's real. It's not ironic or bitter. It's fond and benevolent.

"I can imagine. Let's get to bed then. Cuddles?" Jimmy wiggles free of Tango and stands up to completely discard his shirt.

"Of course, you owe me so many cuddles, dude."

Joel was bored. Just bored. His feuds had grown boring, and he could hardly remember what they started over anyways. Probably nothing important.

Scheming, he started a list. A prank? No, humans don't like those very much. A toy? No, this one would hate that. A build? Maybe, but he'd probably have to do some type of interior for it. An apology?, he thought, begrudgingly. Yes, humans love those.

Joel had never quite figured those out but he may as well try. He was better at giving nonverbal gifts than speaking.

So he set to work, brought his filled shulkers to spawn. Ten small terracotta platforms, close together to avoid falling, leading up to a slightly larger one should be enough. Not wanting to waste any quartz, he used terracotta and concrete(though might have also used this as a further extension of his peace offering).

The worst part was coming up with what to call the damned thing. The Lore-Law Building? That might make him look selfish, like he was putting himself above the law(though he was quite literally usually 9 feet above the law). The Law-Lore Building could work, but it might make him seem desperate. He settled on the latter, but saying it quickly in a hope nobody would notice.

I think its very interesting what E!False says at the end of her view today.

she repeats the words "behave False" about three to four times

then, she repeats the words "I'm good"

I think this has something to do with her past. we know that she was in a lab for part of it. labs tend to be very strict environments. we can also see that False is very beat up at one point. (she has a bruised by her eye and one on her chest)

now I need to emphasize here; I AM NOT AN EXPERT, THIS ANALYSIS IS BASED ON MY OWN RESEARCH AND THINGS I'VE BEEN TOLD BY MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS! I COULD BE WRONG!! THIS IS NOT A TRUSTED SORCE FOR PSYCHOLOGY STUFF!!!

could this be a response to her trauma from being in an environment like that. she's starting to regain her memories. so maybe she's got some habits from that. I'm going to specifically focus on the "behave False" line here. perhaps she's repeating that her because in the lab if she didn't behave, she would get punished. thus as her memories come back she starts to repeat those words again as a reminder. she needs to behave to avoid punishment. it also ties into the "I'm good" line. here it has little bit of a double meaning. number one: she's not in the lab any more; she's good; she's safe. number two: the one I've seen circulating; she's not a bad person for "not behaving"

that's just my thoughts on those lines. again I am not a psychologist. take everything in here with a grain of salt.

Okay so I was catching up on some of the empires povs and I noticed

The note that Grian sends through the portal ("new portal who dis") comes through normally to the empires server, and thus the hermits can pass through without too much scathing

HOWEVER the note that is sent back to hermitcraft is scrambled ("toy mica jam is nifty" =/= "jimmy is a toy")

If you anagram the scrambled message out, you get this in response: "Jimmy is in fact a toy"

Which sounds VERY mumbojumbo in nature

And leads me to believe mumbo will have to fix the rift, and bring back the hermits without scrambling them

All i know is the Season 9 of Hermitcraft, hc x dsmp crossover and Tilly do us apart. The rest you mention is foreign to me. So yeah and also I agreed that no person should see the entirety of dsmp history. Like damn... many things have occur in a short period of time?!

Hermitcraft season 7 will be 4 years old in a month (February 2020)

The dsmp will be 4 too in a few months (April 2020)

Dream SMP War by Sadist, the video that caused one of the largest surges of popularity for the dsmp, turns 4 in August

Doomsday celebrated it's 3rd anniversary about a week ago (6th January 2021)

Yes. Almost ALL of the dsmp story up to that point happened within the span of about 5 months. From the VERY BEGINNING OF THE DISC SAGA TO THE TOTAL DESTRUCTION OF LMANBURG. It all took place from July to early January. What the fuck.

3rd life will be turning 3 in April (April 2021)

Penismp turns 3 in May. I cannot stress this enough. Remember the fake smp that predated goncharov BY A FUCKING YEAR AND A HALF and trended 3rd on Tumblr for 2 days straight??? That was almost 3 years ago now.

Yes, you heard it right, the life series and empires predate season 8! Pearl and Gem became hermits roughly a week AFTER the cactus ring.

June 2021 is ALSO the month where MCC Pride 2021 took place. Y'know, the one with Wilbur's office on fire and technoblade getting nicknamed Tech by grian. THIS IS ALSO turning 3 this year. June 2021 was a wild month.

Techno's escape from prison will be 3 years old this year too. September fucking 2021. It's been 3 years since this happened.

The canary's curse has been a concept in the fandom for a little over 2 years now, following jimmy's final death in last life (early November 2021)

Moon Big also occurred around this time frame, which means it's turning 3 this year!

The 2 year anniversary of @/chrisrin's curses last life animation is in 2 days! (16th January 2022)

Welcome to my Geminitay conspiracy board: The connection between dreams, portals and even possibly The End

The Gem of hc9 and empires s2 are confirmed to be the same, throughout s2 she was aided and followed by wisps who also followed her back to hc9 after empires ended. She also mentions that the act of dreaming is the key to travelling dimensions which connects to the End Poem mentioning that every world is a player's dream (this is a very common theme people use).

In Secret Life Gem is the one who opens the portal and afterwards is partially corrupted by it, even mentioning that it stole her eye. s1 Gem is confirmed to be a different gem but is still A Gem and she committed herself to taking care of the newborn ender dragon. Her empires is covered in amethysts. The portal Gem uses to escape moon big is covered in amethysts.

Thinking emoji. Ultimately there's no clear answer to all this data, I mostly wanted to compile it because Gem's worldhopping lore drives me up the wall and I miss it.
