it’s incredibly sweet and mind boggling how joe hills and oli theorionsound seemingly met by fated chance and coincidental accident because of the hermitcraft x empires planned crossover, of joe hills spawning and ending close to where oli was coming from on empires season 2, of after the hermits getting back home after being trapped on empires — bringing the empires season 2 cast over via the opened rift, of oli on hermitcraft/streaming it on twitch getting himself accidentally killed in situations and needing anyone free online to help. that being joe, who kept helping and coming to oli when he got himself into situations and trying to keep him alive. and them outweirding and being funny chaotic guys and because oli was playing a bard on empires and is a guy who goes into song whenever irl when he wants, just them connecting and building a unlikely but extremely works well friendship for the while. and coming to the now, august of year 2023, of empires s2 being done, the rift in grians basement being closed to the multiverse of empires s2 before s2 was finished, joe hills a couple days ago on youtube stream minecraft chat messaging cubfan saying he misses oli - his bard, who he knows is in pirates smp now currently, and wants him back and how cub whose been stealing things for the museum should take a piece of the rift or somehow turn it on to work to bring oli back. also oli on twitter replying to joe hill’s tweet progress of his pinball machine he’s making on hermitcraft and wanting to play it. pls. get oli back on hermitcraft, somehow multidimensionally pull him back on, he wants to be on, joe hills misses him, please.

Part of what charms and compels me in Jeyne Poole's arc is her reaction to her predicament. All the female POVs in this book are dealing with a lot of gendered violence, and they all deal in different but dignified forms... Jeyne is not a POV character and she is absolutely not dignified lol. She cries and begs, she is utterly helpless. But unlike most women in this book who are utterly helpless, she survives. It's frustrating how fans refuse to celebrate that, simply because there is no glory in it.

the thing about yosuke’s shittiness around here (up close and personal, the campout) is that the vast majority of it isn’t doing literally anything for his character. i completely think yosuke’s shittiness is important to his character, but it’s by and large reflections of his own insecurities and flaws. he’s insecure about his masculinity and sexuality, he’s lame, he’s selfish, he’s obsessed with the idea of women, his mouth moves faster than his brain, he doesn’t like himself, and he cares way too much about the societal ideal of ‘normal’. but it’s really important that he’s self-aware! he knows when the things he says are shitty, he knows he’s lame, he knows he’s selfish, he knows he’s putting up a front of being carefree and normal. but there’s absolutely no self awareness here, there’s no recognizing he went too far and apologizing the next day, there’s no regret, there’s not even any self-deprecation, and there’s absolutely no compassion or empathy like he has in serious moments. a lot of what he says is just mean for meanness’s sake, in an execution incongruous with previous behaviour. it’s not even funny!

Because I just watched the fnaf movie.

Truly, it was not for the layman. 😂 I enjoyed it. I’m not sure I would classify it as a good movie, but it was technically wonderful and I greatly appreciated the seriousness and care that the filmmakers took with it. It could’ve so easily just been a shitty jumpscare mess but they took the time to actually build it up. The lore is different (from what I understand) but I liked that they reworked it into a story that better fit the film medium. Bc let’s face it, fnaf lore is long, insane, and complicated as hell. But the film told a structured story that, yeah, maybe some filmgoers will enjoy more than others by virtue of knowing what the actual lore is, but I’m one of those people. So I liked it. 😂

Only complaint is, of all the little Easter eggs and musical cues, I’m sad that we didn’t get to hear the music box toreador march. 😢

while like. yeah, I can understand that there are absolutely straight furries out there, het omegaverse always feels like it's like. missing the point of omegaverse to me.

omegaverse feels like it exists as a deliberately queer concept and like. exploration of fucked up mating concepts as well as gender exploration with some kinda kinky animalistic fuckery involved as well as some breeding kink and exploring what it means if gender dynamics and sexuality were like. profoundly *different* from what they are now and we weren't in a society based around "men have gonads which create sperm which are deposited into the female who have gonads which create eggs which receive sperm and are carried in the womb during pregnancy for mating."

like. Het Omegaverse is like. "That but the alphas are more aggressive and the omegas are more submissive and breedable" and it just feels like... I'm not shitting on it entirely because like, if I like the fantasy of being ravished then I'm sure there are girlies out there who want to be ravished but it's like, not subversive. it's just werewolf smut. And half the time they'll like. do *so* much to cut all the furry stuff out of it and just make it toxic psychological dramas with trad-wife fantasies. which like. sure, butter your biscuit to it I guess.

But Queer Omegaverse feels built on "what if gender and sex were independent and society was was built on a foundation of different ideas of what gender meant" and Het Omegaverse feels like "what if gender roles were so fucking traditional and men were so toxic and virile, and women were so dainty and the best ones were fertile, barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen?" and like. I get that it's a romantic and sexual fantasy, and like. sometimes you just want to fantasize about being wanted. and I don't want to take that away from people or say that wanting to just... daydream about some fantasy of a man being really really attracted to you is bad. because daydreaming about that stuff is fun. That's to point of smut. and like. half of gay omegaverse is literally just "I wanna daydream about being bred by my werewolf boyfriend who is feral with his lust for me, and all my lame domestic skills are actually really attractive to him. please find my submissive nature deeply appealing instead of embarrassing." so like. this *isn't* kink shaming entirely. I fully understand like. why it's attractive and why it exists and why it's written and read and indulged in.

I just think the two are fully different genres in a way that like. Is hard to explain without sounding fucking batshit??? like in general het smut can have breeding kinks and stuff really easily already. Omegaverse was created to restructure the universe around new gender dynamics and politics to create whole new systems and medicines and like sometimes even governments to structure a furry eroticism fake breeding system for queer romances and sexualities and genders. Het romance is often too scared to touch on queer subject matter to blend the gender dynamics, so I fully like. Don't know what is explored besides the main character's bodies???

And I mean I have my issues with queer omegaverse! When they make the dude's asshole a cloaca for example! I hate when that happens! like. just do some alternative genital configurations or something, I don't know. or lean into the fact you obviously made it a cloaca, since no one seems to admit that. honestly part of me just is kinda curious how the whole genital configuration makes sense for a lot of omegaverse since there's a lot of misunderstanding about how genitals work, but like. I can write my own if I'm so concerned. that's fine. I just wanna make a point that like, nobody's perfect. while I admire the concept of queer omegaverse for redefining gender roles, that's not how all queer omegaverse works and I know that. and het omegaverse could be written really really well by a talented author. just 'cause I haven't read it and... admittedly am not hugely interested, doesn't mean it's impossible.

But in general I think the only way to fully make omegaverse work is to embrace the weird shit. change the genitals, change the genders, change how society is built, change how people identify, change how relationships are made, change the power structures. Do weird fucked up shit and embrace that it's weird and fucked up. if you do then it will be more a more compelling story.

if it's just smut feel free to disregard because that's fine sometimes you just want daydream fodder and that's fair, but I think sometimes you just need to like. realize you've created a cloaca and that's weirder than just giving a man a pussy??? or a pussy and a dick? or coming up with something new and majestic? or something. I don't know. or if you're gonna have a fucking cloaca lay some eggs. fuck around with it. that's like, my really specific omegaverse pet peeve. the fucking cloaca.

its been a long time since i first met him so ill try to remember.. ik an ace attorney rp group i was in, the few ppl there who had played soj were talking about Gay Datz, so when i wanted to pick up a new muse i was like "that datz dude seemed silly (and we already had a dhurke) so ill just go watch soj for him:3" and then the horrors started

obviously he's an extremely likeable character but he was like the perfect storm of tropes i already liked + tropes i didnt even know i liked yet... him being the funny comedic relief is endearing but it's all the underlying Coolness of him that i just became obsessed with. and the loyalty. the loyalty i think altered my mind permanently. "right hand man" is like a trigger phrase for me being obsessed with a character now LMFAOOO HE BROKE MEEEE. i didnt even know i cared abt loyal guys before him!!! before datz i just cared abt delinquents and criminals

but god he's just so COOL ISNT HE!! his big ass kukri and the confident smug uncle way he peels apples... it really makes me nostalgic for the kind of guys i idolized when i was younger (and still do lmfao) i know he's in nepal-ish-area but he'd be 100% at home with my appalachian family.. the kind of guy who has infinite stories about anything and Probably half of them are made up but he's your uncle so you're gonna listen... bc he's the coolest ever.

and the more i talked abt him with my equally obsessed friends and fleshed out what kind of a Guy he must be, like.. piecing together "ok well if he helped look for apollo's mother after the fire, when dhurke was being accused of Literal Treason, then he must already have been close friends with dhurke or otherwise trust him for some reason...moreover dhurke must have trusted him at least a little..." it paints him as such a capable and loyal guy....Bro he devoted half of his life on this world to dhurke and his cause... his exmilitary history and outdoorsy guy tendencies helping dhurke live on the outskirts of khura'in.....
