Before we get absolutely trashed by whatever lore Fit has planned for today, I thought about something cute about Fitpac.

So yknow how their houses are quite close to each other? I really love that. It's like they're not quite committed to the idea of living together yet but still wish to be close. And there's the fact they can littrealy see each other's house from their own. It's like the need their own space but their space is no longer separate. It's a perfect metaphor for their relationship and I love it SO much.

I finished Hazbin a bit ago and call me crazy but I honestly hope Sir Pentious' ascension had nothing to do with redemption as a concept.

I hope it was just a glitch in the matrix from like, the raw, holy power of Adam's laser blast + whatever magical artillery Pentious had revved up at the helm of his ship. I just think it would be VERY funny if Adam accidentally baptized some guy so hard he rebooted him to Heaven.

I've been confused over the title "cough syrup" Ever since I started reading the fic. Because like. It has no importance to the story. Literally nobody gets an actual illness (as of chapter 19, later I don't know) and no I'm not counting being hungover, that's not an illness. It's not even mentioned until like chapter 17/18 for a one off metaphor. Why is it called that. It makes no sense.

And then I thought about it a bit less literally than I did before. Took a step back to think, so to speak.

Cough syrup right. The main things about it. It tastes like shit. You take it when you feel like shit. You probably don't have or don't read the instructions. And it helps you get better.

And looking back with THAT in mind. Yeah. Yeah maybe it does make sense

Does anyone have a very enlightening article or something about why whenever I'm sick I feel disgusting and sub-human and not worthy of love probably because a woman's only value in a patriarchal society is her desirability and that goes down the board when you are sick and not in a chic victorian way but as in a coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb type of way?

okay so i'm the slightest bit feral over the concepts in horror in regards to the horror being a the horror of being stuck in a confined space because of a job because of the pressure of capitalism and the weight of the bills and the fear of what you're working for and being completely and entirely defenseless and you're terrified and don't know what to do but you have to come back because you need the job so you're trapped. smth about that genre of horror that shows what lengths those who are struggling could go for money because they need to live and survive

the vague horror of being stuck in this job that you want to leave so bad and you're not sure what's scarier the fact that you know that you can't leave no matter how bad it gets or the horrors you're actually experiencing on the job

I am incapable of thinking of anything besides angst so have more Daisey and Eddie angst, but like a scenario instead of just a drabble of ideas

So random symbolism for Daisey in my head, they’re always in the shadows in their relationship with Eddie, at least until the two of them make up

The scenario I keep imagining is Daisey reaching out to try and talk to Eddie, stepping into the light and out of the shadows, only for Eddie to reach out and talk to someone else, presumably Frank

Daisey, knowing that it’s a rejection and that what they want out of the relationship will never happen, lets go and steps back into the shadows, to the point that they can’t be seen anymore

*cough cough* they step into the light to talk to Howdy *cough cough*

Anyways I need to do more fluff with them they’re so sad they deserve to be happy

Eddie was the biggest "light" for so long, only for another to slowly appear (Howdy). Dasiey reaches for this new light with a cautious desperation.

Howdy puts his hand out, welcoming them. Daisey takes it and fully steps into the light.

*coughing up blood* you're going to have to be wayyyy more specific aghausdfdgds. I binge fantastic fics all the time, I have like 10 future leo fics in my bookmarks, most of which i've caught up to their most recent chapters on. there's a long running ATLA fic which i love with all my heart, but rarely think about because its so long between updates.

but also some of my most personally favorite fics are things i read to feel less alone, and aren't things im willing to discuss lol.

one of the most influential fanfics in my life was a princess bride fanfic that made me realize i'd been sexually abused, and that sexual abuse by other children was even POSSIBLE. but i'd never say that ones my favorite, right? others probably wouldnt get what i got out of it.

and what about smut fics? I've got a lot of them i really like which cater to my exact preferences. which i also will not be sharing here, but which can mean a lot to me anyway.

basically, i read a lot of fanfic for a lot of different reasons so. ?? i dunno. im not sure how im supposed to pick just one favorite, sorry.
