Here's an abridged version of my reel on instagram. I was even fortunate enough to remember I have a minecraft song already downloaded on my computer. Here's the completed painting 😊
Since spring is around the corner, how about you? Lovely folks? Show me your creeper OC's? Depending how many people participate in this and how many creepers I see, I may do something for spring. :)
I call it this "The spring creeper March"!
If you do not have one that is fine. Either go tell a friend who has one or reblog!
Rules;
1. They can be a hybrid, but you definitely have to be able to tell that it's a creeper.
2. If you have multiple, please choose one. (For mow)
3. Their design cannot be overly complicated.
4. If you want to participate, you must reblog and post a picture of the creeper you want me to draw.
5. If there are more people than I expected, I will be doing a raffle of who wins.
Hey, I love your Minecraft food drawings, these are so creative! Have you thought about how good could Glowstone Ice Cream look?
I had not thought of it before! But I have, now!!! >:]
Behold, Glowstone Icecream from Swinehaven’s best (and only!) Ice Cream Parlor! :D
The secret to this frozen treat is the blocks of packed ice, imported by our very own Playeret, Steve! With these elusive blocks, our chef carves a bowl into the packed ice, and then uses it to mix together the cream, salt, one whole potion, and the desired flavoring until it reaches the thick, creamy consistency we love!
This particular bowl is Glowstone flavored, with honey syrup and extra glowstone powder on top, but I’ve heard good things about the Candied Wart, Blazeberry, and Honey Ham flavors as well!
I’m about 80% done with the Waterfall hot springs build! Today was mainly detailing the hot springs themselves and etching out the cliffs, which I plan to detail later.
I decided to go with frog lights as lanterns with trapdoors and moss carpets, and coral on trapdoors for water lilies:
I decided to loop the path from the bridge around the yet-unfinished wisteria tree, with lamp-posts with trailing purple banners to match the wisteria. The winding wooden boardwalk across the springs themselves was a delight to build - I managed after some experimentation to find the right amount of curve in the path to follow the natural drop of the falls.
The well at the top of the hill was actually almost the first thing I built on this side of the bridge, but it’s been in the far background of most of my update pictures so far, so I thought I’d show a closer shot:
The view down the path beside the wisteria tree across to the first thing I ever built on minecraft (about two weeks ago, lol) the sakura tree over the Japanese pagoda and onsen:
As for the cliffs themselves, I’ve done their basic outline but I’ll need to layer them with moss and variegated stone. For variety, I decided to cut into the cliff at the front of the build near the house to make another small onsen in a little lush cave, with a private pier:
This is what the build looks like so far from a distance (with unfortunate pop-in issues with the most distant banners, but what can one do). there’s still the wisteria tree and the cliffs/rightmost edge of the onsen to finish terraforming, and a few more floating lanterns, and then I’ll be mostly done!
My creeper painting😊 I already posted a process reel on my instagram. I plan on making an abridged version for tumblr. The only way I could capture the glow in the dark paint was by using my sister's phone😓
