Finished four more tiles and decided to make a test board stuffed full of random shit

Finally done with the Omeran Heartstone! This was a tough one to achieve, but the TurboDork Miami Sunset paint was a great base and once I gave it metallic red highlights it was absolutely perfect.

Scratch built this Trench Crusade inspired terrain. Was pretty fun and actually quite easy.

I've been making cave terrain with my new best friend Fiber Paste

I can't believe these are finally done! Took forever lmaoo

Some of the stalagmites are just scrap polymer clay I mushed up and painted and they match fine enough I think. I used various foams for the rest- the flat ones are cheapo craft foam i glued together in layers and the chunky ones are packing foam I chopped up and stabbed skewers into.

I coated everything in (white) gessopodge then added the fiber paste- gives them a stone texture and fills in all the holes, and I could also make little peaks in it for some extra stalagmites.

After it dried I primed them in black and did the basic dry brushing.

The hardest thing was definitely the cave pools cus I kept trying other mediums and fucking it up, but in the end I bit the bullet and bought some casting resin. (Used that on my swamp too)

Will probly make some scans of the DM screen I'm working on (painting in the background) as soon as I get some hinges for it

I maaay have found a new Mecha rpg system (The Mecha Hack, for those interested) and I maaay have been falling super hard for it and printing a ton of 6mm scale mechs and vehicles for it.

Somehow I keep forgetting how much I love 6mm scale. It can be detailed as all hell, but it's so small there's no pressure to make sure you get adsolutely everything right. You only do as much as you are comfortable with amd it always feels like a flex. :)

Lil dollar store house im working on. Modified the house slightly by cutting holes for the door and windows. Shingles are from those thin foam sheets, same with the chimney bricks. Chimneys themselves are just straws. Door handle is floral wire and the base is foam board. All dollar store paints. Will post photos with 28mm minis when I get around to finishing it.

Been working on some more OpenForge terrain, specifically the building facades. I've printed enough to make 3 small houses, but I think I'll need 5 buildings to really capture the feel of a cityscape, whether winding alleys or broad thoroughfares.

With how much painting that'll be, I've been trying to restrict myself to just do a quick and dirty paint job, rather than spend hours on each tile - the airbrush has been good for that, and I think it's come out well despite the slapdash paint job.
